This place is awesome. Very clean and well organized. Veronica is my barber/stylist every time I go. Shes friendly and works with you to get you the perfect haircut or hairstyle you need. Wouldnt trust anyone else. Its the place to go to get the style or cut you want and need. Trust me . Its well worth your time.

I’ve been running all over town for haircuts and only realized recently that the perfect spot for me is right down the street. I was seen within two minutes of walking in. I got a high fade skin tight and I was pleased. I’m not sure why most barbers don’t know what skin tight means, but these guys sure do. Very minor imperfections between the sides of my head and a few stragglers around my ears is the only reason for four and not five stars. Going back next week for sure.

I have not ever been to this Famous Barber Shop before and see this place only when I go to Metro PC or passing the same area. What catches my attention is the name of that barber shop because Ive seen other businesses that really dont live up those fancy names. Ive never even gone inside that place period. Its basically just another business with a fancy name.

Called before I came here and they said they could take walk ins. Waited there about 45 mins and they still hadn’t taken me because of people with appointments. I’m not sure why is so hard to just be honest.

Do not recommend very expensive before patty used to charge 10 15 now you got them charging 30$ridiculous. Plus hairs flying everywhere owners has lost their mind recommend just going across the street to rockys or on Alabama st.

I ask one dude how long he been cutting? Another dude jumped in and said if you dont trust us you can leave. He is way in the back got big ear dont know is name.

A friend told me about this place so I gave it a try. $20 fades that look like $5 fades. Your hair your choice. Won’t be coming back.

This is by far, the most amazing barbershop in El Paso. I’ve been to barbershops in cities like San Antonio and Austin and nothing compares to this one! Denise. Always ask for Denise. She does an excellent job everytime. Gives great conversation and her work is amazing. Always asks about my family and my career. Cant say much about everyone else because I always stick with her. Prices arent bad but its definitely a job well done.

Place is far to expensive for a haircut remember when it first opened was only a couple of ladys now the prices are crazy plus i left with razorbumps. Recommend you go to rockys across the street or kristas on piedras and idalia

Ive been looking for a barber shop around since the on-post (Fort Bliss) barber shop just keeps messing up my hair. Therefore, I was recommended to Famous Cuts by one of my co-workers. As I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and seated right away (although at times it could be really crowded and Id recommend calling for an appointment).As a first-timer to this place at the time, I was not quite sure who I wanted to cut my hair. I was then assigned to Bruce (I learned that it did not matter who cuts your hair in Famous Cuts, they are all excellent!) Bruce did such an excellent effort in cutting my hair, unlike on-post barbershop who takes 10min rushes to cutting your hair.Since then, Ive been receiving my haircut from Famous Cuts, specifically from Bruce. (dont forget I mentioned that all of their staff are excellent!)Id highly recommend this place if you value your hairstyle and receive outstanding results.

5 stars for this barbershop! The place is so clean and the staff is so friendly it makes it enjoyable to just be in there. My husband is super picky with his fades since he is a man of color he says no one else gets it just right how he likes it.. he goes with Oshiee and she asks the right questions to make sure his hair is perfect the way he likes it.. we drive all the way from the east side but its so worth it as long as my baby is happy 😊

If there was a way to put no stars, i would. My first time, i walked through the doors and i loved what i saw. Music, pool tables and people working. I waited about 20 minutes and 3 of the barber got done and i was next in line. Cool. I then wait another 30 minutes. The barbers that finished their customers disappeared. Just gone. Clients waiting and all. Horrible service. Just leave people high and dry. Whatever, just wanted to inform the population

I would have gave it a 5 star but owner needs to work on overall appearance. Also have someone check u in. I had to ask the barber how it worked to get in line he then told me to write my name down in the book. But besides from that wow!!!!! I got my haircut from hector. When I say Im picky with my haircuts I mean it, but this guy can cut. He has a knack for it. My oldest got a tapered fade n it was so crisp, he told me he wants to come here instead now. I agree with him this will be our new home. Thanks hector!

Ive been coming here for about 5 to 6 years now, best service in town without a doubt. Everyone treats you with respect and the barbers can cut . They have a pool table so you can play while you wait and they also have a snack machine just in case you get hungry . Hit it up trust me you wont regret it .

Spanish speaking barber shop. I kept getting cut in line by barbers friends. Another customer spoke up for me. I dont speak Spanish. Barber seemed to be inexperienced and sloppy hair cut. I had to cut my bangs more even. Would not recommend.

The people working there provide a friendly environment and their music just enlightens your mood! They have their appointment side and as far as I have seen they all know how to cut hair (FRESH ASS FADES)! The barbers really take care of you here. The setting is nice and simple. I believe most of the staff speaks mostly spanish and understands english a bit. But they will most definitely understand you as long as youre clear.

To be honest worst experience ever Im definitely not coming back again. Why first of all I got a hair cut with a old guy and he didnt even know what was a faded hair cut he literally messed-up several time and I didnt even got the hair cut I wanted instead he gave me one of the worst hair cut ever to be honest Im embarrassed. Plus he didnt even gave me my change back he kept it as a tip I was so embarrassed and angry at the same time that I decided to leave. Definitely not coming back to this place.

Bruce gave a great true skin fade with a straight razor and gave me exactly what I asked for. Spent a long time trying to find a barber in El Paso wasting money and getting quite a few bad hair cuts along the way. Finally decided to give this place a try and was glad that I did. Also, I didnt even have to wait very long because they had plenty of barbers there.

Oshiee came through with a super clean cut. Edge looking crisp, brows looking straight. Front line might have some competition, see whose gonna be El Paso’s #1 artist manager barber!!

Got a hair cut for 25 bucks, worth 5 bucks. Previous cut was great, dont know what happened. I do not think it was a diffrence of opinion but his distraction to someone they went to speak outside in the middle of my haircut. Time to find a new barber who charges less and does not demand a tip. No tips ever.

Lets be clear Im only giving this barbershop this rating because I had one bad experience. I may try again and see a different barber but the lady that cut my hair I believe was either inexperienced and just started cutting hair or she didnt know how to cut black peoples hair. Terrible service. I wanted to get a quick haircut and one of the barbers decides to play pool with the customers. Granted he saw how many people were waiting for a haircut and he just decide to play and text away. I am never going here again.

Paid 35 dollars for a kids haircut. Dont mind paying that much for a haircut if its a good haircut. You could see where the scissors were inserted and the hair was chopped off. I do not recommend this establishment.

F this place. I waited with my boys for an hour and not one person acknowledged us. I signed my son for a walk in yet the barbers dont even check to see who is next they just take their buddies first. We were literally sitting right in front of a barber the whole time, the guy who came in 15 min after us got helped first by the barber we were sitting next to. Smh. Another customer walked in he wasnt even sitting there for 2 minutes and his friend the barber helped him right away. I walked off and never coming back. Unless you are good friends with the barbers they wont help you even if youve been there waiting and waiting
