Paying $200 for this place wasn’t a good deal. The vicinity is good, but the rooms seemed subpar. Front desk associate was good with helping us check in as I was arriving late for the reservation and my friend was early and she was accommodating. But, No upgrade was offered or the usual acknowledgment when you pass by the front desk and it’s like you don’t exist to them once you’ve checked in. I’ll skip this property next time I’m in the area.

The good- nice spacious suite, friendly staff, comphy bed, decent gym, room was very clean.The not so good- lots of road noise in the room, clogged shower drain, the fridge in our room was full or water and I didn’t realize until I put my leftovers in a puddle, the pool was closed, and the pipes in the room are ridiculously noisy after you flush the toilet.All and all not bad, I got a good night sleep, a good workout, and some friendly smiles.

During hurricane Ida during a state of emergency, Wednesday- September 1st the highways were shutdown. My daughter couldnt get home from work. She was scared because she almost got stuck in the rain. I told her to go to the nearest hotel which was the Marriott in Edison, NJ. She asked for a room and for the cost for one night, the woman responded $154 . I was on the phone with my daughter & told her to ask the woman if they take AARP for discount. She said yes but do you have the card with you? My daughter answered no, but my Mom is on the phone and could give you the number and send me a picture of the card. The woman said no, you need the actual card. I told my daughter to put me on speaker. I said, Maam, my daughter cannot get home in the storm and I am trying to get her a room to stay somewhere safe tonight. Could you please honor the discount. She said Im sorry, you need to have the card here and I gave her a discount. I asked to speak to a manager, none available. Regular rate online is 156 and she charged her 154, wow thanks for your two dollar discount. Thanks for your humanity during a state of emergency Marriott.

Getting home after a long day, full of travel & sun, and not looking forward to more driving; two states away.Lo and behold, we happen to stop by this location and was warmly greeted by the front desk, Kyle. Fortunately, there was occupancy and Kyle was able to get us a room with ease with a few good jokes as well.The room was great; clean and spacious.Very appreciated of the service at this location! Great location. The rooms are clean, most of the stuff was very cooperative except one person. She was rude and answering to our questions with an attitude. Overall stay was really great. They tried to accommodate our all of our special requests.

I enjoyed my short stay at the Courtyard. The room was clean, just right for me, myself and I. The bathroom was very roomy, which I enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and didnt hesitate to help me when I checked in up until and including my last day there. I recommend this hotel.

The Staff was sooo friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My room was clean and nice. When I left to go back to Ohio, I realized I did a ugghhh thing. I left my diamond necklace at the hotel. I called and spoke to the manager. I explained what happened. She advised me that she would talk to housekeeping and call me back. Not only did she call me back that day, housekeeping ADMITTED THAT THEY FOUND MY NECKLACE. People are not honest like that nowadays. They proceeded in assisting me on how to get my item back. Thanks again guys!!!

Great For Business Travel, Home Away From Home.My specific Team does a great deal of travel for our Company all over the United States and Canada. We open accounts and facilitate startups which generally require extended stay. GM Jackie C. and AGM Lacqua C. both ensured we were all taken care of with the highest level of customer service possible, which cannot be matched. Neither of these two excellent Managers or their Team seemed even remotely frazzled by the extreme high volume of guests/events taking place during our stay. I absolutely recommend this hotel if you want to be served by the best of the best.

Stopped late night. Place was your typical courtyard. Employees were nice, but the bathroom had mold on the wallpaper. I didnt notice it till the morning. I then checked the whole room which was very clean. I took a star off for the mold.

Rooms are great, location and parking are nice, and the staff are outstanding. They go above and beyond to help. Had my car snowed in last month while I was here; they were outside shoveling out vehicles and plowing the lot themselves the next morning.

Due to unexpected circumstances and a snow storm, we needed a place to have our wedding vows. Lacqua, the hotel manager set up a wonderful space for us in no time at all. She saved the day for us and we will never forget the kindness of her and her staff. We had a great night. Needless to say I highly recommend this hotel!

Very clean and quite hotel. There is road work happening at the entrance of the hotel. Location is out the way of traffic. Rooms are very clean doesnt need to be upgraded. Tv was small compared to other Courtyard! Front desk night staff as amazing!!! Morning staff on Saturday was not but Morning crew on Sunday was amazing!Front desk keeps everything stocked up Front. Bed r soft pillows are trash. Bathroom needs an upgrade. Shower was okay. No bags in trashcan I under stand save trees but what about liquid stuff that cant be poured down a sink or toilet.

Worst hotel I have ever seen. No proper service at all.. lady at the front desk is very very rude.. no room cleaning every day.. They gave reason of pandemic.. They offered only alternate day cleaning.. no cleaning on weekend.. even during weekdays they say they dont have staff on Thursday.. So room cleaning only 2 times in a week.. I have stayed here for 2 weeks.. For cleaning I need to tell 1 day in advance . Even after telling 1 day advance to the lady at front desk, they didnt do the cleaning.. when I asked about the reason, the lady told me that she didnt remember the request and hing up the call.. I tried to call again but she didnt receive it.. If I need anything like soap or glass, I need to come down to get it.. She said, they dont have staff to deliver it in the room.. I am so frustrated here.. I will inform my company not to book here next time.. I would give - ratings for this hotel..

Workers at front desk are rude and takes 10 freaking minutes to check you in...But rooms are pretty decent except for that one room where the toilet wouldnt flash and so they had to switch me to a different room... Except for the other room where the towel holder bar by the sink broke right after I had hanged a towel and took 3 steps.

Gonna be honest, everything is subpar. The room isn’t what I expected at all, it looks like a cheap motel, I honestly think a Super 8 is nicer. The TV was annoying because even though it’s a “smart” TV, you can’t connect your devices like XBox which was annoying for my husband and brother-in-law. They also over charged us for a room that has broken handles on the dresser, the outlets and lights don’t work and the carpet looks dirty. 10/10 would not recommend. I wanted this to be a nice staycation because our family had a really hard week but I think this hotel makes it worse. I guess the only positive thing I could say is that I like how you can control the heat from the radiator? Maybe. It’s not good here.

I stay at the Courtyard Edison when ever I visit Jersey. Very nice lobby and always clean. I always have friends that stop by for a visit when I am in New Jersey. The lobby and Bar makes my group of friends happy. in the morning they have coffee available in the evening water with fruit and some times some good cookies. breakfast was really good and the serving sizes large.

Steps are so friendly, I love courtyard Marriott !!Everything is brand new, I like clean carpets in the room.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Im not sure if it was because we arrived at night, but as soon as you walk through the doors, you can immediately see how dark and damp the entire place was. The front desk clerk was very rude and me and my fiancee were able to smell an odor even through our masks. The worst part was when we entered our room. The lights were so dim in the bathroom and the room also felt very moist and damp. We then immediately saw ants on the sink which was situated right to the left of the door. There were more ants once I placed my bags on the dresser and they started to swarm all over the key cards. There were holes in the sink and cracks on the walls in the bathroom. It was just disgusting and we decided to leave and not even stay for the night. Hopefully this review helps anyone before they decide to book here.

Good property, value for money. Nice hospitality. I didnt have much option at Restaurant but staffs specially Abeer at restaurant made sure to customize the breakfast for me. I was awestruck by her attention to details and customer service.

Overall stay was decent...Amenities such as working refrigerators and the addition of a microwave would have been nice..Also, options for breakfast to be included would be a welcome addition!! And since, the hotel is in an industrial area, the outside decor should be more inviting and upgrading...needs more excitement!

Nice updated hotel at a reasonable rate, right off of 95. Pleasant, helpful employees. Fantastic outdoor space. Loud at the rear of the building due to 95 traffic but you cant hear it inside. Will definitely stay again on our way to NYC in order to avoid daytime traffic. We try to drive at night as far as possible and this hotel is only 30-45min from Manhattan so its a perfect find for us.

In town for the weekend. Friendly interactive staff, big, modern, clean commons. Soft mattress and plush pillows in the room. Nice modern, clean room.I’m on crutches and requested a handicap room, which staff happily swapped me to without complications.Cafe style breakfast, with Starbucks coffee. it is a pay style step up, though there is free coffee available.A few stars deducted because:Maintenance: bathroom shower light dead (mentioned and bulb replaced same day), shower rod loose and angled down, meaning the curtain bunches in the center, it doesn’t catch the sides.Bathroom tub/shower has several safety bars within the tub, though I would appreciate another under/near the towels, just to ease getting in/out of the tub. Large bathroom with plenty of room to navigate if in a wheelchair, but perhaps a bit too open for crutches.Finally, most important in my opinion, my room (on the second floor) is directly facing the turnpike; there is not enough wall insulation to keep the road noise out. My travel fan couldn’t keep the noise contained either.

This is an updated, clean and comfortable hotel just off the major routes. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was average but clean with instant hot water and good pressure in the shower. The lobby has a Starbucks coffee bar and offers some good breakfast bowls and sandwiches. If you want just a glass of wine in the evening, they have a full bar. The lobby is spacious and comfortable and allowed me to get out of my room and lounge with my coffee while watching the large TV. For the rate we paid, this is one of the better hotels we have stayed at in a while.

I stayed here for 2 nights because I was in town for a wedding at Royal Alberts Palace. Cleanliness: This was quite possibly the cleanliest hotel I’ve ever stayed at; absolutely spotless! (And I check under the mattress and behind the toilet). Even the air conditioning vent wasn’t dusty.Comfort: bed was very plush with no lumps or bumps, temp control was on point, water pressure in shower was great and adjustable, blackout curtains made the room dark as a cave and sheers kept privacy but let plenty of light in.Style: It had a very calming and modern style that didn’t sacrifice any comfort. Minimal art and no clutter. The light fixtures were quite cool.Extras: mini fridge! Smart tv and remote where you can access your hulu and netflix accounts, safe boxes at the front desk were ideal (in my opinion).Service: the staff was very helpful and quickly responded to any inquiries I had. They were friendly without being obnoxious and fake; frankly it was quite refreshing.

Our 3 night stay at this hotel was very pleasant. After a reservation snafu that set us up in a room that did not fit the size of our party, the hotel was quick to accommodate our needs. The room we ended up in was large and comfortable. Overall, it was very clean, but someone had forgotten to clean the tub. The food was better than average; the drinks unremarkable.

During our stay here we were greeted immediately by the front end staff and offered assistance. Also, the dining experience at the bistro was above and beyond with amenities. We enjoyed the friendly staff, and the beautiful layout of the hotel.

Everything has been great. Im on a 2 week stay and everything and everyone has been enjoyable. My room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. They have a bistro in the lobby for food (and its good) and entertainment, the pool area was nice and handicap accessible. The only downfall I would say is no free breakfast and not much around.

Overall I feel it was pricy for the average service provided. Their was no breakfast included. Then when I purchase my own it’s over priced. Our Boston Market meeting Food was over priced at near $30 per person for ham Or turkey and cheese!! Ran out of food so about 3-4 people didn’t eat including me. One person in charge of everything meaning she couldn’t keep up.

This place is not for Elite status holders, as I am Titanium and they told me in so many words that status does not mean anything at this property because they are franchised. They can upgrade whomever they like regardless of status. Staff needs alot of work and their speed is the slowest I have seen. Management seems to be good from the General Manager and also sales person (Jacky) I think is her name seem to be on point, but front desk and manager were not helpful in anyway.

Very nice staff. The rooms and lobby area were newly remodeled so everything looked nice and it was very comfortable and quaint. The fire pits outside were really cool at night, made a nice atmosphere. Our camera got stolen during breakfast one morning while we were in the lobby, but it wasnt the hotels fault. Overall it was a comfortable stay.

The king suite is amazing!!!! Extremely spacious living area and separate bedroom. Microwave and refrigerator in room with kitchenette area. Lots of mirrors and seating in room. Honestly was extremely surprised about the amount of space...def worth it!! Staff was friendly and accomodating. Everything was clean and up to date. Great price for rewards members. For me the bedding had a very heavy smell of bleach....but I guess that means the linens are clean so Ill take that lol. Great job as usual Marriott!!

We reserved our wedding room blocks at the Courtyard Edison Woodbridge and couldnt be any happier. We got the king suite for our wedding night and a second room for the groomsmen to get ready in. The rooms were spacious and clean. The decor looked lovely and modern for our photos as well. We were very happy with the help from Jamie with everything, from the room blocks to shuttle service. Our guests especially appreciated the shuttle service, we were grateful we didnt have to book through another shuttle company. Thank you for everything, we would definitely recommend this hotel.

This location was by far the best hotel weve stayed in recently. The staff was warm and welcoming and gave us tips on parking in the area and avoiding traffic. The room was very clean and there were no odors. The bed was so comfortable that I slept better than I do at home. I would highly recommend this particular Marriott because the staff is excellent.

We attended a large family reception in Edison,NJ. We were pleasantly surprised wit hour accommodations at the Courtyard. The rooms were clean and the service five star. The food service for breakfast a hit with our children and grandchildren- something for everybody. We enjoyed fresh vegetables, eggs, bacon and omelets. The free coffe was fresh and tasty. I would defin visit again and highly recommend this Marriot to friends and family.

This is a very nice hotel. Everything was nice and clean and all of the staff was nice and professional. Wonderful experience! If I am visiting the area again I will make sure to stay there again.

Such a great experience. I celebrated my mom’s birthday at a venue nearby and booked rooms here. The staff was friendly, attentive and communicated with guest throughout the stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was soft and comfortable. The Firepit is a great touch to the hotel. A lot of the guest were able to mingle and meet one another. Such a great time. The pool is nice and warm. We will absolutely be back.

I stayed two nights (8/24-8/26). Front lobby and dining area are very tastefully decorated. Our room was comfortable and clean. I did notice that the hallway carpets and carpeting in the elevator were worn and a bit dirty but otherwise the hotel was more than satisfactory. The outdoor area provided comfortable seating near a firepit as well as an area to enjoy a meal.

The beds were super comfortable with lots of pillows and pristine sheets. The bathroom was very clean. Everything in the room was in excellent working order. Our side of the hotel had the low hum of the highway, which didnt bother me, and the hotel itself was very quiet. The room and hotel are decorated well, which make it easy to relax when there. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I couldnt have asked for a better stay.

Front desk checked us in early and promptly. Room was large and spotless. Very quiet room as well. We met childhood friend we have not seen for decades and went to a local Italian restaurant to eat. The lounge area of Marriot was so large and inviting that we had our friends join us after dinner for drinks in the hotel lounge and then chatted for well over an hour seated in the couch area. It was like inviting them into our living room at home!!!Same feel to it.. Made for a great extension of a great reunion. Hotel is next to all major highways. Gym and extras all taken care of. Every worker we met was very helpful and friendly. Edison area is usually a very busy hub to stay overnight at but this hotel made it very pleasant and restful Will be back!

If you are a BRIDE getting married, DO NOT partner with this hotel. I planned to be there at 2:30 pm to take some of the traditional robe photos that all brides take with their bridesmaids and my room was not ready. I communicated up to the day prior to the wedding that I would need an early check-in and I was told that all this would have been handled. When 3pm came around (the usual check-in time), I thought to myself that the room must be ready- it wasnt. I didnt get the opportunity to check in on time which DELAYED my entire wedding day. My ceremony started late. The room wasnt ready until it was time for me to leave to the venue- to get MARRIED (at 4:30pm). When asked what would be done to accommodate for this significant inconveince, I was told by the Assistant General Manager that there would be fresh fruit and champagne waiting when we got back (which comes with the bridal suite- its standard). My guests shared with me that the morning after around 8am, housekeeping was knocking on their doors and actually entered their room while they were still sleeping.Again, if you are a bride getting married, save yourself the headache and partner with another hotel.

Although the rooms were a little small, they were clean and well decorated. Where this hotel really stood out was the public areas. The large living room like lobby was very inviting as was the outdoor firepit area. Everyone we interacted with was very pleasant and helpful. An excellent place for business travel or leisure travel if yo are visiting with family in the area.

I was quickly checked-in, no waiting. Food was adequate for dinner, I wanted something more than bar food but what I had was fine. Room was clean, comfortable and recently updated. The fitness center only had one cross-trainer,a few tread mills and dumbells but that was not a problem since only one other person used the fitness center during my stay. Otherwise the equipment was in good repair and looked new. Breakfast service was quick and there was a very good selection of food.

This location was perfect for our needs. Right off highway to Raritan Center only a few minutes drive. 10-15 minutes to closest mall & shopping. Close to multiple dining options since hotel only offers s small bar with some quick food options. It was great for breakfast items but chose to eat out for dinner. Highly recommend the Brown Stone, a short drive away. Hotel was very comfortable, awesome beds, very clean, friendly staff.

The renovations are beautiful. The staff was nothing but excellent and accommodating. The entire hotel was stunning, from design to staff. I have no complaints and hope to return in the summer! Even though it was the winter when I stayed, it was still lovely.

This hotel is disgusting. I’ve never been in a dirtier hotel in my life. The bathroom looks like it has never been cleaned the floor was black! The sheets were dirty and stained with specks of blood and other marks. It’s always extremely noisy and you can hear the trucks buzzing down the nearby highway all night long. Front desk staff is unwelcoming and surly. Avoid this trash hotel at all costs!

Although the hotel has no room service and lacks a proper restaurant, I liked the stay. Staff are very polite and hospitable. All of my ask for help was attended even at late night. For a huge chain of hotel to have a service like this in a remote area is impressive and should be commended. I feel the hotel would have more guests if the cost of staying is substantially reduced.

My stay at this Courtyard was great. The rooms are large, clean and updated. The beds are very comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a lot of seating just off the lobby that worked well as a place for our large group to gather. Theres not much for restaurants or retail in the immediate area, but a short drive gets you to a large mall with lots of dining and retail options. Its about a 10 minute drive to the train station to take into Manhattan. Would highly recommend the Courtyard Edison Woodbridge.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms could use some updating. We had a problem with our toilet that the staff tried to have repaired a few times but it kept breaking again. The manager took care of us in the end. With the exception of the toilet issue, our stay was good.

This place was excellent! Exceeded my expectations. Traveling for work with our service dog and 5month baby. It’s not easy to keep everyone happy. What impressed me the most was the consistent positive and happy attitude of all the staff. They all seemed content with each other and the guest. No faker here. So glad the we stayed here. Rooms clean and pleasant to stay! Thanks to the crew!

The hotel itself is very nice, however I saw many small black ants in the sink area. And the location is not ideal, you can hear a lot of noises so much so that the hotel give free ear plugs. And one more thing I noticed was the outside smell like the hotel is near an open sewer.

While the breakfast choice are somewhat limited what they made was wonderful. Recommend the avocado toast or the lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes

Staff was so nice. Food was EXCELLENT. Rooms were clean. Bed and pillows were amazing. I want them in my home! Shower was excellent and so happy the bath product was Paul Mitchells. I love this place and wish all hotels were the same way. So spacious the price is crazy reasonable.

The overall look of the hotel is wonderful. The room upon entering wasnt what I was expecting for a suite. I walked into an office space that seemed fit for business. It wasnt what I reserved but after the ride and little toddler with me, I didnt bring it up. There was no room service on Saturday or Sunday to clean the room. Saturday a maid popped her head in after coming back to the room after being out most of the morning and mid afternoon. It was at least an hour after returning. I simply asked for towels and left it at that.Sunday, no one came to clean.

Opened my door and was like immediately hit with the smell of B.O and sweat. I turned the A/C on to hopefully clear it up along with some spray that I brought with me. Then I entered the bathroom to find that I was in a handicap accessible room. I am to tired to change rooms. Then I go to take a shower and there is long black hairs on my towels.... 😧😠😠😠

Great place for a quick stop. Room was clean, as was bathroom. We did not use the gym or pool but it does have both. Front lobby is all new with a Starbucks. We didnt eat there as breakfast was not included with our room (some did). Quick drive to an amazing little cafe though!

Room OK but bistro a joke. I stayed here a few years ago and forgot I had the same problem. Ordered food and drink at the bistro and 30 minutes later didnt even have my drink. Now 40 minutes later no food, and I ordered a Cobb salad. Guy says hes the only one scheduled purposely to cook and take orders and bartend. This is a joke and totally disappointing for a Marriott property. Hard to believe you purposely schedule this on what they say is their busiest night. Update: food came and was disgusting. Brussel Sprouts black and burnt to a crisp. No chicken for the Cobb Salad even though I agreed to substitute wings. Waste of money...As you can see, rooms are a bit rundown as well.

In comparison to all of the hotel, there is no other hotel not only provided a premium on a extra large which comfortable cater to 6 people.... An ideal place for a group for heading for a business conference and definitely for group bonding...... or pleasure as well an ideal stay closer to some of the New Jersey attraction!!

The location is not convenient with nothing nearby, when I booked the website said I had breakfast included, but they didnt have that on reservation, ended up paying. Lastly, some front office staff were cold, with no trace of basic courtesy, let alone hospitality, I would not go back to this hotel ..

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Lobby more modern and nice common space. Breakfast was adequate. Bad coffee. Rooms had old mattresses and draperies. Not as clean as I would have expected. Definitely not as pictured online.

This hotel is an excellent choice for those staying in the Metuchen/Edison area. The rooms are spacious, with a good layout and comfortable furniture, as is the lobby lounge area. Though a microwave in the room would make it more functional, the small fridge is a plus. The staff were all pleasant and made me feel right at home.

The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The rooms were clean and inviting with the beds being some of the best in the stay I have had with Marriott. Dont change the beds and I will keep coming back. Hotels need to realize the decor is a part of the experience but if you cannot get a good nights sleep on a good bed you wont come back.I will come back to this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The ladies behind the desk at every shift were so nice and helpful. The custodial staff was so nice. The fitness room was great. Obviously, its not your full gym but the treadmills were new and full operational and the weight rack was perfect for integrating strength training. We even had clean yoga mats to use so we could do our ab workout. The pool and whirlpool were so nice. Fitness is extremely important to me so having these amenities fully operational and up to date really made my stay.

We stayed at the Courtyard Edison Woodbridge for one night. We stayed in a king suite & could not have been happier with our stay. The suite was extremely spacious, very comfortable & most important, super clean. I would absolutely recommend this Marriott property.

The Marriott Courtyard has a High Standard, that cant be beaten. We will always chose a courtyard over any hotel because of their high standard in being clean. Everything is clean! It doesnt have that dirty hotel feel. They go above & beyond to make sure your well taken care of.
