Each time Ive sought out help for my Subaru, Triple A has come through in a timely manner with trustworthy service, however, this particular location proved to provide the most reliable as well as honest service Ive ever received from an auto repair establishment. So very thankful for the manner in which Anthony Salvatore took the time to explain the inner workings of my vehicle. I will definitely be bringing my vehicles here for maintenance in the future. Ive already been received excellent auto care here several times, and am so very thankful for the service at this particular location.
This place is really good. Great service, professional and helpful staff, decent prices, and easy booking of the services you need. However, there is one throwback - xenophobic concierge. He was sweet and courteous to the white couple stopped by to buy some road maps but refused to sell me a road map by motivating that the register was closed and it was 5:12pm with the store business hours operating till 6:00pm. Also, he kicked out dark skin customer who came in for his appointment. Concierge asked this customer to wait outside. There was no reason for him to do that because at that time it was only two customers in the lobby including me. He didnt act this way toward the couple buying the road maps. So, people be aware of that concierge behavior. Other staff is awesome. I had business with this AAA location a few times already and I am fully satisfied with their service.

The knowledgeable staff was topnotch. I really appreciated their rigorous and comprehensive testing of the vehicle, taking the time to explain the results in exceptional detail. The store ambience is quite welcoming and comfortable -- clean, bright, and relatively quiet. What I perhaps appreciated the most was the transparency. The shop has a huge, clear, and well-lit window where you can see all of the work being done to your auto 🚘. Checkout process was efficiently smooth and well documented. A great place all in all if your car needs work! Highly recommend!

Went here for an IDP (international driver permit) for an upcoming trip to Europe. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Lovely personnel.
I was greeted pleasantly and guided through my needs efficiently.
A simple inspection. They told me it was an one hour wait time but I waited for six hours without getting a call. I had to call back and check the status - only to find out that they want me to change battery. That work eventually rolled over to the second day.
They do a good job as long as theyre not rushed. One stop resource center.

The AAA Edison Car Care Insurance Travel Center is a force of nature on to itself. There are three things I like about this business:1. The team are all amazing without exception2. The service covers every possible thing I could need5. The price is great value for moneyId say 6 stars if that was an option, I use them everytime Im working in this region.
Very good service and a discounted price if you are a AAA member. I called ahead and made an appointment. There is a waiting area and the chairs are spaced far apart from each other. There is free wifi and bottled water available. The bathrooms are clean. It is walking distance from Walmart, Cosco, and Dunkin’ so you can have your car repaired and go shopping instead of waiting around.
AAA in Edison was busy 2day but I came in after my medical appointment to get my brake light replacement and they took me in even when they were busy and they worked on my request under 30 minutes which I am greatful.
I had a great experience with this car care center today. I needed a decent amount of work done. I easily received a quote initially, was able to get an appointment quickly and the work was done quickly and for a great price. The service writers and the technicians were very kind. I am very happy to have found this center & plan on returning.

Ive been there twice in the past week, for two different services. First was a tire alignment, the work was quick and cost less than I exspected. Second was to replace the bulb in my head light. They had to order the bulb, it took a little bit for the part to get delivered. They didnt charge me for the bulb or for the replacement. Staff was super nice, i will definitely only be coming here for any future services

I usually do not bother sending reviews BUT....just got back from the service center where the girl at the desk was extremely pleasant and helpful. I requested an oil change and asked about the tire rotation which I was told is included. All went well until I was told that all was done. I asked about the rotation and was told that the tires looked fine and they only rotate as needed.I informed (I believe IT was the tech? he was walking around with a clipboard) that there was 7,500 miles since last rotation (which they SUPPOSEDLY did)and is recommended by the manufacturer.BTW my invoice says tires were rotated....NOTE: nothing was checked as per your checklistcame in there with one tire at 31psi left and it was the same.GOODBYE AAA SERVICE CENTER!!!
I recently had visited AAA for a starter to be installed in my Honda pilot and definitely expected to be there longer, but the job was done quickly. Dan was great, and so was the mechanic I had spoke to, very honest people, I was brought in to see the issue for myself and I know most shops will not allow a customer inside due to “liability issues” which I don’t really believe in. Amazing service here and I will be back for my next car service.
Alex and Michael the mechanic have been amazing!!I was there following an accident to have the car repaired. They went above and beyond and I mean above and beyond to help get me back on the road for work ASAP and worked extremely hard to salvage the muffler for the time being so I wouldnt be on the road without a muffler and possibly getting a ticket for noise. They kept me up to date on my repairs and what they were doing. A+++ service!
I’ve been going to the AAA in Edison for a couple of years now. The service has always been the best and I have even referred a number of people including my own dad to get their cars serviced at that location. Alex has always been very personable and understanding about my concerns whenever I’ve walked in. Michael the mechanic looked at my car in June after my daughter and I took a road trip and when my own car dealership wouldn’t take the time to . It was making a rattling noise. Mike took my keys took it for a test drive and put it on the lift. He assured me that there was nothing wrong with the car so I could take the ride the next day to see family in upstate New York. I’ve never felt so safe with a mechanic as I did with him. He truly cares about the safety of his customers. Thank you Mike. I will continue to refer people going forward to these two men. You changed the way a woman feels about going to a mechanic for sure. Ty

Public Service announcement: I revealed an outright scam they tried to pull on me.I had rear brakes and rotors replaced together which was needed I paid an average price but was glad they had a good warranty on their work. Upon returning for a routine oil change a few months later i saw that the technicians post oil change notes state rear pads /rotors worn - recommend replacement.I spoke to the rep at the counter, he looked up my record and saw i was under warranty and assured me they would replace the brakes/ rotors on my next oil change.A few months later I go in for a routine oil change and bring in the prior technician notes, they say no problem you are under warranty but then they call me back a couple hours later and tell me the technician that noted brakes and rotors needed repair made a mistake and everything was fine. Its obvious that they tried to push another break/rotors job on me but then backed out when they knew they had to pay for it under warranty. Its sad to think that they have technicians that would note that and make people pay for work they do not need. Shame on AAA Edison Car Care. I appealed to the Manager T0ny who was of no help whatsoever, all he did was try cover it up and have the audacity to try and sell me on front breaks and rotors. shame shame shame.
Had an awesome experience. Went early in the morning to get an oil change and it was done well, fast, and at a good price. I had an issue with my tire light for over a year and brought it to several places and mechanics and no one could figure out the issue. After the air being filled, tire being sealed, and rotated the light still came on. The mechanic, I believe his name was George, mentioned that the rim was bent and he may be able to fix it. After adjusting it, the light never came on again. He’s such an awesome mechanic and nice guy. He was able to figure out what countless other mechanics from other places were clueless about. Thanks so much George!!!!

If you know what youre getting fixed for your car, then youll be in great hands. Ive gone to this location multiple times and had my oil changed twice and just now, a battery replacement. My battery replacement came out to be $156 quoted, but the guy gave me a discount for $142 instead after the job was done. And they completed it in 15 minutes. It was quick and straight to the point. Plus, free coffee. The car worked perfectly fine afterwards. Thanks for the coupon and the service! This location is reliable, convenient, and fast.
This AAA office has slow service, and will overcharge you. I had a flat tire, so I was towed to this place. Most of the mechanics were taking multiple, extended breaks, just sitting around, wasting time ( I guess they were trying to rack up the labor hours cost ). Then I was told ( 3 hours later ), that the bill was $220 ( to change 1 flat tire on a 2012 Ford Focus ). I flipped out and refused to pay that much. When I complained on the phone, to customer service, they said they would tow me to the local Ford dealership instead, and asked for my credit card number. Then a tow charge for $200 popped up on my phone, by text. I complained to the office staff, and they acted like they could care less. After I caused a scene, one of the reps, dropped their tire fee from $220 to $120. Another rep called customer service to erase the $200 tow charge, but only after I asked for names and said I would write bad reviews and go over their heads, to complain to higher management. Eventually, they did change the tire, but it took multiple calls, pitching a fit, and all afternoon. For such a simple repair, it was a major hassle. Avoid this place.

HORRIBLE AUTO SERVICE
I am filing this review on behalf of my elderly mother. My mom was the group leader for 13 family members, who were booked on an Alaskan Cruise on Royal Caribbean, scheduled to depart Vancouver, BC on June 26. John Branick, Retail Office Manager, at AAA in Edison, NJ, was the travel agent managing this reservation on behalf of our group. On Friday March 13th, Canada announced that all cruise ports were closed through July 1st due to Covid-19. This meant our cruise would be cancelled. My mom emailed John Branick on Saturday March 14th asking him to arrange refunds for our $250 per person deposit ($3250 in all for the 13 of us). We had yet to pay the full balance for the cruise. Royal Caribbeans standard policy is to refund all money paid when the cruise line cancels the sailing.On Monday March 16th John replied to my mom and said that there was no way to get a refund and that the only option was a $250 per person credit. She reluctantly accepted, believing John that there was no option to get a refund. Reality was all we needed to do was wait for Royal Caribbean to officially cancel the sailing and then they would be able to process refunds totaling $3250. Royal Caribbean did in fact officially cancel the cruise the following week and offer all passengers the choice of a refund or 125% credit.John had a fiduciary duty to our group and should have reasonably been expected to know Royal Caribbeans standard cancellation and refund policy. Lets hope this was purely negligence, but John also had financial motivations to push my mom to cancel prior to a refund being available. Senior abuse is sadly all too common. On March 9th, Royal Caribbean announced that commissions would not be recalled on canceled bookings and new commissions would be issued on sailings booked with cruise credits. So John had a lot of incentive to see that we were issued credits rather than refunds.Whether this was neglect or intentional abuse of a senior, John Branick and AAA Mid Atlantic should be held responsible for the $3250 refund our group of 13 is due.

The towing service is excellent however stay away from this service center I had a flat tire they wanted to replace my tire pressure sensor for $150 and $140 for the sensor. This costs more than Ray Catena INFINITI service. Way too over priced and my AAA membership they gave me $10 off that was still too much. Bought the sensor for $37 on amazon and had it replaced and tire balanced for $20 at a local tire repair shop.
Towed the car Sunday morning. They said that steering pump needs to be replaced and made it sound like they can fix it in 2 hours so I wait. Close to closing time (more than 4 hours later), I was told they cant finish the job (because it is 6 cylinder and not 4 cylinder???), but that it will be done by noon Monday. Monday noon, I got a call telling me high pressure hose need to be replaced for additional $400 dollars more than the quoted price given to me Sunday. Again, I was told they will get it done by noon next day. I lost the count how many times I called on Tuesday. They picked up twice. On the last call, at 5 pm, I was told they were still working on it and that it will be done by noon next day. It is now Wednesday, 12:30 p.m. They had the car for more than 72 hours!!! Yet, no phone calls updating me on the status of the car and I dont see the point of calling them if they are not going to pick up. Even if the car gets fixed properly, and even assuming I paid fair price for the service, I deeply regret not taking the car to my regular mechanic. He was closed Sunday!
The facility offered the best customer service I could ask for- prompt attention and by far the best car evaluation and servicing I have ever had by a very competent and friendly mechanic named Mike K.!

I am AAA MEMBER FOR LAST 17 years.I had to call AAA emergency service because my Toyota Sequoia battery was dead. This is where my bad journey started with AAA repair.The battery guy came in and he said I have problem with my engine starter - the battery is good. He called AAA towing and I took my car to AAA EDISON repair center.They found issues within my car that was not exist- suggested me to change Tires because my brakes doesn’t work. I granted permission to change all four tires. And still the brake issue remains the same. They asked my to change pads and rotors - took their advise and changed the pads and rotors.The brake didn’t work as it should. I started feeling noise when I brake it. Took it back to center and they replaced the entire new set of pads and rotors. I still have noise for last 4 months and they said they couldn’t figure out the problem.Another big issue- my Sequoia was unevenly jumping because car’s air suspension was not working. They first change small part - which didn’t solve the problem. Then they changed the entire air suspension sensor. Still didn’t work. Every time I had to leave car for few days and then pick up again with same issues.Ultimate I had to take my car to another mechanic to replace car’s left side air suspension bag which costed my $1400.So the entire experiment dealing with techs working was amazingly bad. It seems that techs work here has no clue what they are doing and has no interest in fixing it at first time.The only good part is they are accommodative to correct the stuff - but only to make your experience go horrible - again and again. Total money spent was around $3500 just to go through this worst experience. I would only suggest to take car to dealership where it belongs.

I went in to get a bill of sale notarized. They wouldnt let me notarize it because I needed 2 witnesses. They said that the witnesses needed to personally know me. Unfortunately there was only one customer there at the time, and the people that worked there said they cannot be a witness. I went to the bank after that and they notarized it for me immediately without any issue. They just used 2 employees to sign as witnesses.

Professional service but everything takes forever. A simple oil change without any other service inspections had me waiting for close to 3 hours.
I went to pay my AAA bill and it was hastle free, very friendly and fast so I got in and out fast.
I took my car there for an oil change. Great price no problem! They give me the all points inspection, tell me my breaks, shocks and struts are in need of replacing, that theres a transmission leak as well! So they quote me this huge price I figure okay they know what they are saying. Boy was I wrong! I take it there a few days after and an hour later they call me to say a water hose is broken and tag on another price totaling my costs to over $1500.00! I tell them to stop work Im going to my local mechanic and boy was I glad I did! Two pipes to the transmission were in need of repair and that everything else was fine! I had my breaks done a few months ago when I got my last oil change, so how could they need replacing so soon? I felt like I was getting ripped off by the mechanics there who obviously dont know what they are doing!!! Ill go for oil changes but nothing more! Never allowing hem to work on my car again!

Id suggest everyone to stay away from this place. Theyre giving wrong information to their customers and ripping them off by selling their products.I have Dodge Durango driven only 19K. I found out theres a nail in one of the tire so took my truck their to get it fix. Stepped in at AAA exactly at 1:00pm and was asked to wait while theyll fix the flat tire which I mentioned them as soon as I got there. After 50 minutes when I walked upto to Mr. ALEX (extremely rude employee) to ask the estimate time who had no idea whats going on goes to me, oh yeah your tires are trimmed off and you need to replace all of them plus alignment is required etc. I was like I walked in 50 minutes ago to get a nail remove from one of the tire and youre telling me I need all 4 tires change and he goes blank (wondering why I came to AAA for on the first place) and than started arguing that I was there just 15 minutes ago and on top his bad attitude asking me to take my truck to somewhere else if Im in so much rush. They hardly had any work going on in the garage and their mechanics were chilling (as I could see from see from glass window).It took them exactly 1 Hour and 30 Minutes just to fix a flat tire since after this whole conversation they took another 45 minutes to fix it.Funny thing is, there was another dude waiting before me to get flat tire fix and they said the very exact thing to him. Basically these people are sitting there to sell their tires and ripping people off by giving them wrong information.BEWARE OF THIS AAA AND STAY AWAY, GO TO SOMEHWERE ELSE IF YOU NEED TO GET SERVICE...

I took my car for an oil service. The staff were fast and curtious, with no pressure to commit to more than what I asked for. They did a thorough inspection, and two minor problems were identified. What impressed me most, is that they actually offered to fix the one problem, rather than replace the part. This was my third visit to the AAA Edison Car Care Center and I would certainly be back.

I always take my cars here for their oil changes. I use them to diagnose any car issues Im having. But they are way over-priced and always try to sell you services you dont need yet.

I am editing my review from 5 stars to 1 star. The front of the office is extremely clean, professional, and friendly. The staff truly goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome.I had a terrible experience with getting car service at this AAA. I went in for a simple replacement but was recommended a diagnostic test to ensure a replacement would fix the problem. Makes sense, I didnt want to spend $$$ to find out the broken part isnt the main issue.After the diagnostic service, the mechanic took me back and showed me all the problems on the vehicle. Keep in mind I just wanted one part looked at.The mechanic worried me with the brakes, saying I needed a whole new set of calipers, pads, brake lines etc. I knew enough about cars to know the mechanic was dishonest and inflating the work, but he really sold it. He then showed me all this other stuff that I would eventually need to get fixed. Ultimately he wanted me to pay $3500 for a car I bought for 7k. He played up the fear by saying how my wheel could go flying off, or my brakes could fail at any moment.I refused service and asked him to drop my car, he then changed his tune and said he would be able to do something to the brakes for less. Thats when I knew this was a game. I demanded my car back, went to a local shop recommended by my dad. The brakes were fine, the calipers were fine, it wasnt perfect but I wasnt going to crash. The mechanic said I could change my brake pads next oil change. My relief was immense. I was ready to pay this guy at least $300 for any work.I truly trusted AAA, I used them back home all the time for any work I needed done and they always did a great job. To me, AAA was honesty and quality. I am NEVER coming back to this AAA Edison center again. They saw a young person with a lexus and wanted to make as much money as possible.Unless you know exactly what you want done, I do NOT recommend this center.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU NEED ANYTHING FOR YOUR CAR. I DROPPED MY CAR FOR AN OIL CHANGE. I CAME BACK TO FIND MY CAR TO HAVE A HUGE FRESH DENT IN THE QUARTER PANEL. THEY REFUSE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. SANTIAGO CAMARGO THE MANAGER IS A LIAR AND A PUTZ. HE KEEPS PROMISING ME THAT THE DISTRICT MANAGER RICHARD SANTIAGO WILL CALL ME THE NEXT DAY TO RESOLVE. IT HAS BEEN 10 DAYS AND STILL NO PHONE CALLS. I AM TAKING THEM TO COURT. I EVEN CONTACTED THE CEO VIA EMAIL. HE HAS NOT REPLIED. IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR CAR TO GET DAMAGED DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. THEY HAVE NO CARE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS AND HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO SERVICE THEIR CUSTOMERS. I HAVE ALSO FILED COMPLAINTS WITH THE BBB AND THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF NJ. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN. AT THE VERY LEAST THE MANAGERS SHOULD BE FIRED IF THEY CARE SLIGHTLY ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.
First in line at 10 AM. The car was brought in right away to determine that the right rear wheel bearing and hub assembly would have to be replaced. Told at 11 AM that it would take about 2-3 hrs for the replacement. 3 PM comes and the car is still untouched. I then had to ask the staff instead of being told what the problem was. Come to find out that the wrong part was ordered. I have now been here for 5 hrs. I was the first one through the door and will be the last. I am extremely dissatisfied with their service.

Im a Lyft driver that calls northern Virginia home. On September 7, 2017, i received a trip request from three off-duty dancers who needed a ride from downtown Baltimore to Edison, NJ. The cost for this journey was approximately $250, a fare that would make my day. The trip was roughly 2.5 hours, but given the client, i was looking forward to hearing some very interesting stories in addition to making a good days pay. When we were about an hour from Edison, NJ, i started to hear a squealing sound coming from my engine. As we got off the exit in Edison, the squeal got louder. I turned the AC off and, while the squeal was still there, it wasnt as bad. I dropped the ladies off at their hotel (they slept the whole way and didnt tip me) and parked in the hotel parking lot to call around to the closest service locations just in case i had to have a tow. The first garage i called around 4:45 was right across the street from the hotel and said that their mechanic left at 3 pm every day. When i got off the exit, i noticed the AAA storefront so i called there next. The service manager, Pierre Torres, was friendly, optimistic, and told me that if i came by he would see what he could do. I barely made it there, but Pierre took it right in (oh did i mention it was 4:50 PM on a Thursday?) and came to tell me that my water pump had failed. He had called his parts guy and would let me know. Time ticked away and then, at 6:50, i overheard Pierre talking to the parts guy and telling him that we were all waiting for them to deliver the part so i could get back on the road. Pierre and his top technician, Michael, waited until close to 7:50 to receive and install the water pump and get me on my way. They closed at 7:00. The Hurricane Irma coverage was all over the news so i wasnt sweating the possibility of having to stay in a hotel and wait until the morning, but Pierre and Michael made sure that i was able to make it home to my family that night. I cant thank them enough. Excellent customer service. Its always nice when good people help out those in need.

Excellent service and friendly staff. They did minor work on my car and a lot of free check ups and even free alignment check. They have a nice waiting area with coffee and wifi and the Best part is you can see your car thru the huge floor to ceiling glass windows while thier working on it.
Fast oil change and you can shop at Walmart while you wait. However, horrible experience with a staff named Stephano/Steve. Mostly nodded or shook his head to answer our questions. Took our car key and we walked with him to the car, he told us not to follow him - the only few words he said during our service. Asked us to sign a paper with zero explanation as to what we are signing. Unfriendly and totally unprofessional, hard to think of a worse experience.
Dont ever get your car fixed here because the staff are not trustworthy including the manager, Andre who is a liar. Pierre Torres claimed he fixed my car on 12/26/17 and charged me for 6 coils, a tune up along with spark plugs to only have my car break down again the same week. When a different auto shop diagnosed my car it showed that I still needed coils that triple AAA claimed they fixed on 12/26/17. Triple AAA refused to fix or refund me for what they charged me for. After they took my money and after my car broke down for the second time, they then informed me my car was not worth fixing in the first place because it can not be saved. My question to them was if my car was not worth fixing why would they charge me $1,204.85 to fix it. They did this to get my money! I now have the Corporate Office involved to rectify this problem. The manger, Andre along with Pierre Torres are lying to the corporate office but they will not get away with this. The staff in this office will take advantage of you especially if you are a woman. This is the worst experience I had getting my car fixed. This place deserves negative zero stars! Shame on the manager, Andre and the staff, Pierre Torres who rips people off and then lie about the series of events. Dont ever get your car fixed here !!!!! Andre is worst than a slum land lord and Pierre Torres is what you find at the bottom of your toilet!

Liars. If you can help it, never take your car here. They tried to charge me $380 for a battery that was under warranty. After an hour, the let up and acknowledged that the warranty makes it free, then charged me anyway for a fuse that they blew trying to fix the original battery. On the phone they admitted it was their fault then in person tried to tell me that it never happened. Absolute thieves and liars.
Arlene Herman hooked me up with a TripTik in a timely fashion on Saturday, which was impressive considering they were busy and it was their grand opening....Hooray for Arlene!Boo for Kate! When I went to go pick up my TripTik today, she made me feel considerably unwelcome, and was decidedly surly and disinterested in taking care of me in a timely fashion. Avoid her at all costs if you can!
Generally don’t do reviews, unless it is really awesome or awful and this one was really awful!!! Poor communication and customer service skills, unfriendly staff. They committed same day return but it took the 4 days to get it done with zero communication. I spent over $50 on cabs going back and forth. Also they did not even fixed the things they were supposed to fix. And all this for a Plus member, so getting it downgraded or stopping my business.
They run a clean shop, and the repair is done right the first time, every time, I have been there!

My husband and I walked in at 4pm, into the Edison Rt 27 location to purchase a AAA membership and get an oil change. I was also very much interested in hearing about thr benefits of using AAA for booking our travel plans. We waited 15 minutes before someone asked us how they could help us. Only to be treated like we had done something wrong. The customer service rep had a terrible attitude, as she directed us to a different rep for the auto services...I had to tell get a few times that I wanted information on the benefits of memberships. She literally grabbed a brochure and pointed to the various plans...I felt confused but thought that I should purchase it and I can go home and look up the information online instead of dealing with her again.My husband was told that he wouldnt be able to get the oil change today but he could make an appointment for the following day. We showed up at the scheduled time only to be told we had to wait 2 additional hours. Not only could the gentleman not be bothered to look up at my husband from the computer screen, while telling him about the delay but he never even apologized.One thing was made very clear by all the reps we encountered...5pm is closing time. Seems like no one was interested in helping us. I cancelled my membership. We cant risk needing help and encountering people like this at thise times. We never want to do any type of business with anyone at this location.
Came to this location to get an international drivers license. The folks here were very helpful, and although I had to wait for a little bit (this is a busy location!), they made sure I was comfortable.

If you are a member you can get travel services at no charge. I.e. maps, travel guide books at no cost. You can buy auto, home insurance. Also they have auto repair center. Located near Wal-Mart and Costco.

Expensive oil changes. They just increased the prices. Ive be a membee for years and I was suprised at the cost. Shop around and youll find cheaper priced oil changes elsewhere.

Car broke down less than two weeks after getting work done here. They assured me it was the battery and not the alternator and charged me $500 for service just for the car to breakdown less than two weeks. Don’t recommend them they are friendly but the work they do is bad.

This place is a hot mess. Everything takes forever. It took 2.5 hours to change a battery...They also offered me to sit in their waiting area that had “coffee, water,etc” which was a lie because they were out of everything and needed to restock.
