My Tesla Model S was hit while parked in a lot outside a store. The careless driver accepted responsibility and the police report assigned 100% responsibility to that driver. I brought the car to Ultimate Collision (a certified Tesla body shop) and worked with Edgar. However, the insurer was very difficult, and Edgar and I had to tag team in dealing with this insurer. Edgar was great. The insurer came around, paid the supplement in full, reimbursed my deductible in full, etc. The tremendous surprise came when I picked up the car. It had been fully detailed by Ultimate Collision and looked BETTER THAN SHOWROOM NEW. They did a great job. I highly recommend EDGAR DASILVA and, of course, Ultimate Collision Repair. I’ve been going to Ultimate Collision for years for minor repairs on my cars and for those big jobs when involved in an accident- every time I left impressed with their work! not one complaint about their services and professionalism. On my last visit my Audi A5 needed major repairs and was declared a total loss by my insurance company. When my brand new Mercedes E300 got rear-ended, I was devastated. I wanted an authorized Mercedes body shop that would take good care of the car and make it look like the accident never happened. I shopped around and got quotes from multiple body shops but none of them were as professional as Ultimate Collision. Not only is the place credible looking / presentable, but there is a man named Edgar Dasilva there who gave me the confidence that I would be happy with the end product. The process was so smooth - start to finish. I ordered the parts over the phone with a small deposit and when the parts came, dropped off my car and got it back within 3 days. Voila! I have after market parts on my vehicle and my insurance wouldnt cover the cost, but Ed and the staff at ultimate collision were very clear and gave me all the options. To my surprise they were able to fix the part and saved me $800 dollars. The staff at ultimate really go above and beyond to get the best options for their customers.

My front bumper had popped out from one corner after backing up from a high parking spot. I took a trip to Ultimate Collision and in a matter of 10 minutes Edgar had come out to help me. Ive have utilized Ultimate Collision three times over the years after having been hit in accidents. I picked up my new car the other day after someone had backed into my side panel and bumper. The body work was professional, excellent and done within a reasonable time. A neighbor accidentally backed into my Audi and while the damage didnt appear to that significant, it actually required a major repair. Audi Q5 Sportback 2021, i had an accident and damaged bumper and headlights and lower bumper grill and front bumper. I waited almost month because if One Interface module not available in USA so have to order from Germany. When i went to UCR and i seen my car after repaired, damn trust me it’s looks like brand new even when I took car from showroom earlier when i bought that time it’s doesn’t looks like new and from this shop me and my cousin were shocked that look at it, it’s brand new and no one can say it was damaged earlier, even not a 0.1% different than newer. 5 stars aren’t enough to describe the amazing job and the amazing service from Ultimate Collision (Edison, NJ).I brought in a 2013 Honda that had an extraordinary amount of scratches over the exterior. I had, embarrassingly, used a small snow blower too close to the car during the recent storms, and it left scratches that ran from the front to the back on both sides. I was so upset about possibly needing expensive body work and/or painting. Instead, I got back a car that looked brand new at an EXTREMELY reasonable price.When I picked it up, it was parked next to a Ferrari and my Honda looked better than the Ferrari!!They even did an interior cleaning that was impressive. The car looked and smelled new, inside and out!The best part was dealing with Ed Dasilva. From the minute I stepped into the shop, he was incredible. I asked for a quick look/estimate, and within minutes, he gave me a price and eased my mind about taking care of the issue. Jerry and team did an amazing job on my 2008 Porsche c4s. To say I’ve had a great experience at ultimate collision is an understatement. This will be the second time using them for my auto body repairs. Getting into an accident is stressful enough. Getting your vehicle fixed shouldn’t be and they definitely make sure of that. The receptionist Bridget is so friendly and helpful, and Edgar was very efficient in providing me with estimate for my car. Ultimate Collision did a flawless job on repairs from an accident but what impressed me the most was their concern for my safety. In the process of repairing my car, they showed me that the cars undercarriage was completely rusted. Some of the suspension parts were even rusted through. Edgar and the team went above and beyond to make sure all rusted parts including nuts and bolts were replaced so that I could drive the car safely for years to come. I did an extensive background search of authorized Tesla repair facilities within 100 miles and Ultimate Collision was the clear winner. They did a high end teardown and repair of my Tesla Model 3 after it suffered a significant rear impact. The damages were extensive. I came here because some kid threw a ball at my car. It didn’t dent it but it scuffed the paint. When I stopped by the mechanic was awesome. He said hold on a minute and went to get some tools and took the scuffs off within 5 minutes. They didn’t charge me and were honestly awesome. The guy told me stuff like this that isn’t actually damage we wont charge for, another shop quoted me 1600! This is how you know these guys are honest and genuine. Thanks for making my day!

The service at Ultimate is unmatched. Ive had two cars (Maserati and Honda) repaired here and each time the service was impeccable. I had a 2012 Mercedes Benz E350 which was hit on the passenger side by an errant driver. The damage ran from the front door all the way to the rear bumper and wheel. I brought the vehicle in as it was and very dirty. After about two weeks, the vehicle was ready for pickup. The results are amazing. The vehicle was not only meticulously repaired, but also detailed and sterilized. It looked like it rolled off the showroom floor! I can’t thank the team at UC enough for the great work! This is my second vehicle done by this shop. The first was my 2018 Subaru Forester about a year and a half ago. Also, a huge thank you to the gentleman for explaining the repairs in detail. (I apologize for not asking for your name!)

I was very hesitant to use Ultimate Collision due to this repair shop not being in the authorized networkof repair shops for the insurance company I had to go through. The insurance company discouraged me to go out of network. After meeting with Edgar I decided to go forward with them- and I am so happy I did. My Lexus was in the shop for about a month and Edgar updated me when needed on any new issues with the repair. Aside from a few hiccups when dealing with the insurance company, dealing with Edgar was a pleasure and stress free; and I knew my car would be returned to me in perfect condition. My car looks fabulous - I couldnt be happier - and I would absolutely recommend them.

This is going to be a lengthy post but be rest assured certainly worth the read.Our car was hit back in August (4 months ago). We were told to go to a body shop by our insurance company and they quoted us a $2500 repair. The insurance company (ALL STATE) on the same hand told us we couldnt use the initial body shop for some reason. As a result i did some research on Ultimate Collison and decided to go with them.All State had tried numerous times trying to get us to settle for a total loss of $3200. Ultimate was not only unsatisfied with the initial repair estimate but the total loss estimate. THIS IS IMPORTANT. if ultimate did not fight for this claim the payout or repairs. We wouldve most likely been screwed.Quote to fix ~Body Shop A (Who only took pictures) : $2500All State Insurance Adjuster (Who only took pictures) : $3000Ultimate Collision (Did a full tear down) : $7000 - $8000These totals are far apart because Ultimate actually tore down the car VS people taking pictures and guessing. All State really made every effort to screw us on this and the Ultimate team fought for us.The total that was offered by All State: $3200the total after Ultimate fought with All State: $5000I do believe if Ultimate did not step in and actively fight for this claim our payout wouldve been drastically or we wouldve been left with a band-aid fix / lemon carI would like to extend my thanks to:Gerald the owner for explaining the intricacies of the industries and helping me better understand my claim.Edgar the claim handler / project manager for quite honestly telling me how it is and the next steps in the process. This help me set a realistic expectation.Both Receptionist for not only taking my calls but also being attentive and answering any and all questions i had. I frequent a lot of body shops in the area and boy is it nice to hear a friendly voice that generally cares. A LOT of other shops just have receptionist that are disconnected from the actual operations of business but not Ultimate.Thank you guys so much!

I got in a car accident in West Virginia and the Auto Body shop that I went to did not do a great job in fixing my car. After I drove home this became very apparent so I took my car to Ultimate Collision. They were able to identify the work that was improperly done and work that still needed to be done --they did a great job in fixing everything strategically. They worked with my insurance so that I didnt have to deal with anything. The guys were courteous and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone needing auto repair.

Ultimate are a Tesla approved and referred business so they were the go to shop after an accident required the replacement of the rear bumper. Its back and as good as new! Their staff were extremely professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend them.

*Due to Google review character limits I had to remove my Update #1 and Original Review - See Yelp for those to get the full story....*** UPDATE #2 Jan. 2019 ***I felt my update #1 was fair (even added 1-star) as well as accurate and respectful as to what corrective actions were taken, but now that Im being called a liar lacking morals and ethics and the owner is changing his story Im happy to reply with some evidence (2 photos attached) to defend myself as well as point out his omissions.Claim #1/#2 - That I had no errors on pickup and I did not drive directly to Tesla after pickup. As shown on my attached TeslaFi log of 12.7.18, I left UC at 11:54am and after a short lunch break arrived at Tesla Springfield at 12:15, was onsite for 1-hour and 18-min while my issues were diagnosed and scheduled for later service. Did I go there just to chat? Lets call them... Also on this TeslaFi log youll notice my next stop which was Signature Detailing where the damage (high pressure water bubbles) to my PPF film (unrelated to my repair on driver side front & rear doors) was assessed and later corrected for me free of charge by Greg.Claim #3 - That Tesla just decided to replace my Radar under warranty for no reason and not due to the error (Autopilot Unavailable) previously mentioned. Again, see the attachment that shows the Tesla invoice which states, Tech. discovered damage to front radar bracket, which is interesting since it was listed as a replaced item on my UC final invoice. Tesla also replaced the radar itself as well as another part to fix their faulty repair being that they referred me to UC as a certified shop. I did not neglect to mention anything about Tesla removing the bumper per repairs, I sent you the same exact invoice via email. Better yet as a Tesla certified shop you should be able to get the data/error logs from Springfield as well as the repairs for the dates and issues claimed, they were able to tell me when they were first recorded in their system, you should know this...PROVE ME WRONG!Claim #4 - At the time of pick up both Matt & I inspected the car prior to you taking it home. As previously stated I quickly examined the exterior of the car, but never even sat inside the car while Matt was present due to the fact it was barely 40-degrees and windy (also shown on the TeslaFi data log), hence the not seeing the errors immediately. When I did discover the errors AS STATED in Update #1, I should have refused delivery, which was admitted clearly. I also have a witness (my father) who dropped me off that delivery day as to the extent of the inspection. I didnt however see your admission of your claim that sometimes these errors just pop up, and you cant explain them.. that was your explanation the first time around on the phone.Beyond that all Jerry wants to keep repeating is 5-weeks after and your 17-day repair period that was only missed twice, but these are just distractions from the facts. They may have been in the business a long time, but still havent realized customers dont owe you anything, youre paid to make THEM happy...the FIRST time, lucky for them they got a second chance and a fair update to go along at that, but that wasnt enough apparently? Im happy to go to Tesla corporate and/or NJM insurance to discuss my repairs and claims further.

Very Professional, and impeccable work. I took in my WRX STI for a scratch repair and had a OEM wing installed, and had a ceramic coat applied. I was kept updated on the progress of my car and wrapped everything up within a week. Couldn’t be more please with the service and will return if the needs arise.

Excellent business. Excellent customer service. My Tesla Model 3 was a wreck. To be honest, I was expecting to get a car that was repaired and was expecting to see signs of a previous accident even after repair.... there was glass literally in every corner. Nope. What I got was what looked like a brand new car. Looked brand new inside and out. Even had that new car smell. it was like driving my Tesla off the dealers lot. there was not a single visible blemish from the (literally) hundreds of thousands of pieces of glass that littered the leather seats and everything else. The glass even got under the window controls, in the vents, EVERYWHERE. I have no clue how they got that out of there. Either alot of patience, or some kind of vacuum from the future. probably the former. Either way, they somehow got every piece of glass out of that car without leaving a single scratch on the leather or anywhere else for that matter. Big shout out to Edgar who is patient like no one Ive met before and responded to my text messages at all hours of the night. Big shout out to Matthew who replied to my one million questions via email. Big shout out to Bridget at the front desk who was so helpful in coordinating transportation of my car and always a pleasure to speak with over the phone and helped me feel reassured from day 1. Im really annoyed I cant remember the name of the man who was there on the day I picked up my car and helped run through a number of concerns I had (im paranoid sometimes) as well. Big shout out to you too -- you know who you are. The staff here are great. and they do excellent work. You see Ferraris, Lamborghinis and other exotic cars parked outside for a reason. Its cause they are the best. Honest business as well and are desperate to make you happy. these guys installed a full nose wrap on my car after the repairs at a price lower than any quote I got from 3 other shops. I might have to mail them a bottle of champagne as a thank you. if you walk away from these guys in a bad mood, its probably your fault, not theirs.

I have used their service twice in 2016 and 2020 for Merc E and Tesla S, they did beautiful job and came out exactly as it came from factory, courteous, friendly, professional. I certainly recommend them.

First time having to use a body shop and glad this is the one I chose! Fantastic work, you won’t regret it. Edgar kept me updated week to week on the status of the repair.

I used my vehicle to host guests through Turo and had a client scratch the rear of my car. Luckily I had the crew at Ultimate not too far from home to help me by going above and beyond with my claim. That scratch turned out to be a lot more than the insurance company had initially quoted damage on. They had to deal with third party insurance company that was fighting my claim every step of the way. That didnt stop the crew here to help me get everything that I was entitled to and repair my car correctly and quickly. The whole process took longer than expected because of the insurance claim company but Ultimate was able to fight tooth and nail to get me squared away. The car looked like new after Ultimate got done with it. They also took care of a few other minor things while I waited for the insurance to completely pay for the claim. Their dedication to helping me get my car back asap and fixed correctly earned my trust to be their customer for my next mishaps.

I cannot express enough how happy i was with the service I received. After recently getting my car back from an accident, NJ got hit with a freak hailstorm in July. My car was obliterated. I dropped my car off Sunday, picked up Friday and they even detailed it for me. Even though I HOPE I never have to come back, this is my new go to place.

Chose Ultimate for a minor repair on my Tesla model 3. The shop was recommended by my father-in-law who has taken high end vehicles here over the years. I could not be more impressed or recommend this shop enough. Everything was smooth as could be, from scheduling my car on time to handling the insurance company on my behalf, it was all easy. I have to point out that they treated me above and beyond good... update calls from Jerry the OWNER...an extremely thorough walk around of the vehicle with another senior person (Anthony). All of this white glove service for a minor repair that was under $400!! And the car, of course, looks fantastic. I hope not to need to come back anytime soon but count on it if I ever have a body shop need. Highly recommended, a wonderful experience top to bottom. Wish other businesses treated customers as good as this shop does.

My experience with Ultimate Collison was great. I was pleased with the service from the time I called to make appointments and from time I picked up the car. They are so professional and they finished work before the date I was promised. They even are conscious on using methods that are not harsh to the environment. They provide very good service

I recently brought my vehicle to have some rework done to it from a different shops poor work. The rear bumper on my 2017 Hyundai Elantra had been replaced and the bumper was not properly painted and mounted which caused the paint to start to peel back. I dropped the vehicle off at ultimate collision within a week the repairs were completed, now there was a small hick up when I went to go pick it up which I brought to Anthonys attention, he immediately apologized an asked for 1 more day to make things right. When I went to pick up the vehicle the job had been done perfectly, they really did an amazing job and even buffed out my vehicle completely and helped eliminate some minor scratches throughout the vehicle which they really didnt have to do. I will 100% recommend ultimate to who ever needs repairs to there vehicle from any makes or models my Hyundai was treated as equal to there higher end work. I couldnt be happier with the quality of work that was done to my car, thanks to all who were involved in my vehicles repairs and especially to Anthony.

It took a little longer than I expected, but Ultimate did a great job replacing the bumper on my 2016 Mercedes CLA 250. The paint job on the new bumper matched perfectly and it looks as good as new. Thanks for the great work!

The team at Ultimate Collision was great. They provided great work on my 2018 A5 and they helped get back in the car as quickly as possible without losing focus on quality and the environment. Genuine OEM parts were ordered and put on the car along with making sure all sensors were operational and the coat of paint.Would recommend to anyone that needs to have body work on either an expensive or not expensive car.

Ultimate Collision is by far one of the best body shops in Central Jersey. When I brought my Audi s4 there for an estimate, Matt greeted me right away and took time to come outside to look at my damaged car. He was very polite and professional through the whole process and kept me informed through the whole thing. The crew handled all the details with my insurance. Matt even took pictures of all the damaged parts of my vehicle and the process on the repairs. Everything went as smooth as possible and I am willing to work with in the future for all automotive repair needs. This shop really knows what they are doing.

The car looks good but I would not recommend this company. I called everyday for a week because everyday they told me the car would be ready the next day. I was promised numerous times I would receive a call back and never received the call.

Just dropped off my Cadillac at Ultimate and so far they have been great. I was reading some reviews and got annoyed with people disrespecting Bridget who I assume deals with all or most of the clients. Like I said its only been a cpl days but she has been awesome and extremely helpful. Im a lineman electrician who installed transmission lines across the highway from the shop. Would always see the high end work they did. Was diagnosed in jan 19 with NHL and waited 3yrs to purchase my Cadillac. Its my therapy, lol,believe it or not. Spoke with a tech yesterday, and feel confident about their knowledge and workmanship. Will check back. And for everyone relax thier only people like us, chill. Well I dont normally do reviews but felt compelled because of ultimates awesome quality repair work, but the extent they go to make this difficult time as smooth as possible. Anthony, Bridget and all the employees i dont know names, i couldnt thank you for your professionalism and high standards of pre loss condition. Ty, wouldnt think twice about recommending your quality work.

Brought my car in because I got into my first car accident and my car ended up being a total loss. Even though it was an unfortunate situation, Bridgette (front desk) helped me through the whole process of calling the insurance for me, going through the estimate and constantly reassuring me of everything that was going on. I cant comment on any actual work that would have been done because my car was unrepairable but they were very informative and super helpful since I have never been through this whole process before. Definitely will be coming back for any work I need on my future car!

Great customer service, the owner Jerry is very responsive and communicates well and often. The work done to our car was top notch and completed on time. This place is unbelievable. My car had a few dents on the right fender. A shopping cart flew into the fender leaving these small dents. I brought in my car for an estimate. Filled out the paperwork and waited about 15 minutes. So far so go, right? Next this guy tell me to follow him to my car to create the estimate. I said create because I felt that he basically wanted to work on my whole car instead of just the fender that had the dents. First he started out saying we have to replace the fender. I asked him if we could just work with the same fender and just push out the dents. He said doing so would not work as the metal would not take the same shape as before. Lmao. Next he said that we need to repaint the fender, hood, bumper, and door. I asked why? His reply was priceless. He explained that if we only painted the fender, there may be a sight difference in tone from the hood, bumper, and door. So I asked, what about the rest of the car? Wouldn’t the tone be different from the rest of the car? In my head, I said so what are you going to suggest next, let’s paint the whole car to match the tone? Anyways, to make a long story short the estimate came to be $2,300 for all the work. I went to another place and had them give me an estimate for the same fender. $405 to bump out the fender and repaint. Just got the car back and it looks like new. Ultimate Collision is a rip off. If you are happy to give money to a company that doesn’t know what they are talking about and overcharge you, this place is for you.

Even after the mixed Google reviews I threw caution to the wind and brought my car to Ultimate Collision.I have a 2010 Honda Civic Coupe. I got rear-ended and needed to replace the bumper. My Service Agent was Matt. He was super nice and gave me the estimate but warned there may be some damage under the bumper - which there was. Ultimate had my car for 8 business days (really 7 if you count the day the other drivers insurance company took to assess the damage).My car looks perfect. I cannot tell that any accident happened, or repair was ever done. They really did solid work.As far as customer service, I dealt with Matt for most of it and he was great. I met Bridget when I picked up my car and she was very nice. And finally Anthony helped me when I picked up my car - explaining everything to me and did a walk around with me.... he was very friendly.The price. Well, you get what you pay for I believe. It wasnt cheap, but it wasnt overpriced either. I would absolutely recommend Ultimate Collision. I do look at reviews, but as far as my experience Im glad I didnt pay attention to the negative ones... I would have missed out on a great repair shop.

They really need to work on being a bit more personable at the front desk. Also I followed up like 4 times over the phone because I was on short notice to return my rental and they said they would call me and never did. The 4 stars is for the excellent repair work and they even cleaned the inside of the car and washed the exterior. Gotta say, my car never liked better.

Great work on my car. They work a little bit slower than some other body shops, but know what they are doing and use quality parts. No attermarket parts used on my car. Would definitely take my cars back to ultimate Collision.

Im going to give this place 5 stars simply because their customer service is outstanding. While waiting for an estimate in their lobby, I heard the two women at the reception area and they were so friendly and informative. Their phone was ringing nonstop and the girls managed to answer all of the questions on their own! I was shocked. Ive never seen a body shop more organized and professional from start to finish. Many of my friends have had their body work done here and they all referred me here. I did not get any repairs here yet because Im waiting on my insurance agent to get back to me but I will definitely review again after I get the work done! Thank you for such a warm friendly experience! I will be referring my friends and family!

I brought my car in to get repaired when someone hit it so I wasnt going through insurance. Im from Staten Island but a friend recommended me here and Im glad I went. The place was clean and organized. The owner told me a bunch of different ways to fix it and how much each would cost. He told me when the car should be ready and the price it would be, got a call from them the exact day and picked up my car. No surprises and a pleasant experience.
