I lived there for 4 years and everyone was always welcoming and willing to help! It’s a great, quiet place to live! If I ever move back to the Edinburg area, I would definitely live here again!

DO NOT move into these apartments. I personally helped my girlfriend move out into our new home a month ago. No issues at all. A month later her lease is over and they send her a bill for 1300. Claim the refrigerator is broken (worked fine when we moved her out). Apartment was empty until her lease expired. We look up the model refrigerator online and find it for less than half the price including installation at Best Buy . They respond that they purchase from a third party and will only accept the cost they produced. I’ve lived in multiple apartments over the past many years and never experienced anything like that. If I could give 0 start I would. DO NOT MOVE HERE. You will get screwed out of your deposit + When it’s time to leave

Lived at the Villages for almost a year now. There has been some issues during my stay, however, management was quick to respond and fixed the issues in under 24 hours. Vanessa (management) is quick to work on the issue and go in to verify the issue is resolved. The gate will give you a hard time every now and then, but it’s not a daily issue. I would recommend the apartment to someone who is looking for an affordable apartment with amenities. The apartment is very family friendly and pet friendly.

I live here with my fiance, we love the place it is clean, nice and quiet. If you are looking for an apartment this is the place!

I lived at the Villages for a year and love the complex. It is beautiful, clean and family-friendly. Awesome management staff. They are attentive to the residents, friendly and helpful. Maintenance was responsive and the property well maintained . Pool and club area is really nice. I highly recommend!

My family & I have been here for one year now and we are very happy with the complex. Work order requests are completed in a timely manner, outside areas are kept clean, and management is very caring of the tenants. This is a great place for anyone who is looking for peace and quiet.

Going into my second year of living here and my family loves it! The staff is great, very friendly and attentive to anything we need! Very kid friendly always activities for the kids and the pool and playground is a plus and it’s always clean and quiet. Perfect for families! We love it!

This apt complex is the complete package. Excellent Staff - professional care - up to date facility - & safe & protected property. Highly recommend this place for all ranges of ages/stage of life.

The staff at villages at sugar road are what makes living here great! We appriciate all of the events they have both for adults and children, it definitely brings the community together.

This was my first apartment, and it is the worst experience I have ever had. Me and my boyfriend lived on the third floor and our ceiling would leak every time that it rained. We would call matience and they would continue to tell us it was normal. Our A/C unit would never be cleaned so it would go through the other exit and leak into our bathroom causing the bathroom to be nonusable and we stated this three or four times to the ladies at the front desk and the issue continued to not be resolved. The final straw for us was when we were transferring to a smaller unit and Vanessa charged us a complete month for a two bedroom and told us to pay it or else we would be evicted even though we were told that we would be paying for a one bedroom. This in the end forced us to move out, and when confirming my move out got no response back or any information in regards to it. The worst possible place to ever live at. I wouldn’t recommend these apartments or the horrible ladies at the front of the office.

I have lived in my apartment for two years and I can say that it is the best. Maintenance is always in order. The office is always on the lookout for all residents.
