Reviewing experience of getting an oil change. Extremely fast and cost was market rate or maybe even below. Staff was helpful and kind, this was my best oil change experience.

Normally happy with my experiences here. But I wont be back. Noticed a puddle of oil under my 2020 CR-V along with a dropping cover. I immediately took it back to Grandview and they fixed the issues. They informed me that the drain plug was not tightened properly and there were screws missing from the cover. Thankfully this didnt end in a catastrophic engine failure. I was driving the vehicle for a couple weeks before noticing the puddle. This was the second oil change on my new vehicle... A very common vehicle that Im sure they perform this service on daily. I probably could have excused one of the two issues... But, I believe that combined this equals incompetence. They have lost my trust.

Had snow tires changed over to regular tires. One tire damaged due to change over after 3 times and had to be replaced. Cost of new tire $190.00 plus tax. My feeling is they could have been more careful changing over tires to prevent this happening. They could have given me a discount or coupon for a future purchase. Tom H.

Ive been here twice now and both my experiences have been excellent. Their oil change service is very quick and it comes with a free car wash on site. The people are kind, the waiting room is comfortable, and its next door to coffee if you want to kill two birds with one stone. Sometimes I feel like I pay for oil changes begrudgingly but with this place it doesnt hurt so badly.

Don’t normally write reviews but felt the need to after the service I received. I used to live in the area and got some work done on my brakes. I have since moved to another state and there was some issues with a part they had fixed about a year ago. I called them and they took care of the warranty process and shipped the parts across the country to a different shop at no cost to me and saved me over $1,000 no questions asked. Great service.

I made an appointment to have two new tires put on. I dropped the car off and asked how long it would take. They said 30 minutes. I said I would come back in 1.5 hours. When I came back they said they had not even started. I indicated I needed my car that evening, so really needed it soon. They said they would start working on in a few minutes. After waiting for half an hour, they came over to me and said they had bad news....they didnt have the tires, as the delivery driver was late. That was it...they really didnt seem too apologetic.. as the mechanic backed my car up to the front door, got out and literally tossed me the keys.. he didnt say a word! A simple apology would have been nice for my wasted afternoon at Grandview.. Left very frustrated (and without my tires) . 1) why didnt they call or tell me they were running behind in the first place 2) why did it take them 30 minutes to tell me they did not have the.tires 3)they had several days to get the tires, as the appointment was made well in advance. Very unprofessional.

I have been going to Grandview for 7+ years now and they are still taking care of our 17 and 14-year-old cars. Good experience from me. Brought my winter wheel package to get balanced and rotated out for my summer wheel package. Originally was going to be more than quoted but after asking about it, the front desk employee checked into it and straightened it out. Came to $60, which is still a little spendy for a simple balance and rotation, but beats doing it in my cold garage. Would come here again if I needed to.

I came in with an issue with my steering. They quickly determined the issue, got me in immediately, and cleaned out my wheel wells. They also noticed a front light bulb out and replaced that right away, after asking me. They only charged for the light bulb and didn’t worry about charges for washing snow out of my wheel wells. All of the employees were friendly, informative, and willing to help me right away. It put me at ease knowing they wanted to help and make sure I was taken care of. Thank you Luis, Jacob, and the other gentleman who washed out my wheels wells (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name!). I will definitely be back and recommend this shop to anyone. The hours are also great!

Found this place when I lived around the corner. I was tired of paying $100 at Valvoline everytime my car needed an oil change. I dropped it off and the workers were so friendly. I walked back home (about a 10 minute walk) and about 5 minutes later they called to tell me my car was done. They have an online coupon you can use each time. Since I was a first time customer I asked if I could use that discount as well. They explained they didnt usually accept more than one discount, but they gave me half of the new customer coupon and the online discount. Needless to say they had excellent customer service and Ive been going back since.

Last Friday I brought my car in for an exhaust problem. They were able to repair it by welding a piece into the rear exhaust area. Cost, $182, saving me from spending $800-$900 on a new system, which would have been the case had I taken it to a dealer. I have been getting good service from Grandview for many years. Quality work, honest people.

My wife Kim brought her vehicle in because the battery was dead. We dropped it off 10 minutes before they closed thinking it would get worked on the following day. I was pleasantly surprised by the services of this shop. What I liked is that no appointment is needed for simpler car jobs, such as oil changes and they vacuum your car and check the tire pressure. As another perk, they also give you free car washes with services, which is greatly appreciated. I will most certainly visit this car shop again for the convenience and quality services.

Ive been going to Grandview for years--probably 6 or 7. Mainly for oil changes, but also for tires and maintenance. While you may be able to find cheaper auto service somewhere else, you wont save money. They do excellent work, and have never tried to get me to pay for a service I didnt need. I moved to St. Paul several years ago, but will continue to go to Grandview for everything I need. Highly recommend!

Grandview is phenomenal, my brothers and I have been using them for years. Recently my truck had a check engine light, they replaced the oil pressure sender and the light was still on, after replacing it a second time to ensure it wasnt a faulty part (which they didnt charge me for the second time) they called Chevy to check on my warranty and recommended I take it into a certified dealer to get fixed since it was still covered. Dan then helped me explain to the the Chevy dealer the issues I was having so I could get my truck fixed by them without the dealer double charging me again for a oil sender. These guys cover all their bases

My family has been going to Grandview for the last two years. The people who work at Grandview are trustworthy, fast, friendly, and professional. It is the ideal place to go. You can trust that they are giving you the best information, that their prices are reasonable, that they are fast, and that they will work with a kind and professional attitude. I never go anywhere else. The first time I needed them I was in my Tahoe with 3 children and a 100 pound golden doodle. One guy helped with my dog while I worked with my youngest who was upset. While I was doing this, another of the guys got me a cup of coffee. They just tried to make it a little easier on me. I keep coming back for maintenance and now my father and husband go there, too. I have been to this location before in a thunderstorm after running over a tire tread that was in the street. I expected for them to charge me for putting on the spare but to my surprise, they did it for free. Almost a year later, I was able to drive back with my spare tire already on but they were able to hook me up with new snow tire rims, new summer tires, a free alignment and safety inspection. I will no doubt be back here to have them put my shiney new winter rims as well as a pre-winter safety inspection. They have won my trust as a customer for life. -Alex

Grandview is the best tire shop in the business as they set the standard for the highest customer service and professionalism that I have seen in about 20 of the 50 US states. I called and inquired about having my all season tires replaced with my winter tires. Although the shop was busy, Josh found an open spot during the day, dispatched a runner to pick up my tires at my home. I showed up as scheduled and they completed the work in a very timely manner with an extremely favorable price. It doesnt ever get any better than this. No one wants to spend time in a tire shop but if you should find yourself having to…better call Josh over at Grandview and expect to be thrilled.

So sad that last time I had my oil changed there the threads on my oil pan were mysteriously stripped and leaked oil all over my garage. Took it back and service manager explained that this happens sometimes and the bolts wear out. Car has had oil changed ONLY at this location, and only 8 times. Seems like an oil pan bolt should last more than 8 times? Over $500 to replace oil pan

Exceptional customer service! Ive been living in the area for 3 months, and didnt realize/notice they had an express oil change service. The guys were very friendly and the oil change was cheaper then I had been paying in the past. And was done faster. Also, I got a free car wash which was unexpected.I will be taking my car there from now on.

I’m quite happy with this place. They are very friendly, very fast and have an attractive and comfortable waiting area. I usually come here for oil changes and tire rotations, and they’ve never used this as an opportunity to “upsell” me with something I don’t need. The convenient Saturday hours are a huge plus and the location is on a frequent bus route so I can leave my car with ease and not shell out huge amounts of money on an uber.

Taken my vehicle here for 20 years. Its always a different experience. Thus the 3 stars. One visit will be a 5 star and the next could be a 1 star. Unfortunately, it depends on the day and time along with the service youre having done. If youre sticking with a strict oil change you should be fine. They give you a complimentary car wash when youre done, but it doesnt rinse well, and never dries completely. So, with those things in mind...take it or leave it.

Though I live like 3 blocks away I had resisted making this my main garage....because moving from Minneapolis to Edina I suspected everything had a premium, and I had a fine garage near my home in Minneapolis. However, after few times, and yes comparing prices, Grandview is really not bad. By that I mean the price is good and the service is exceptional. Couple of times now they have given me credit on remaining warrantee on parts I didnt know i had! They are always prompt and give you a car wash voucher after each service, even oil change!

I got to share this experience today is the best service I ever had for car repair, I have 4 used tires of my own to install and alligment, but the machanics was suggested me not to do and concern about my safety and waste my money, so I took his advice due to my used tires are pretty much the same condition, so that tells me that machanic hes not just trying to make quick sales and I was first time customer there so, thank you very much.

A friend recommended Grandview to me because I was searching for a trusted place I could go to for total car care that wasnt my Volvo dealership. I had 3 issues that I asked help for. Josh, the manager, solved all 3 in matter of minutes with a cheerful attitude. My biggest concern was getting service that I didnt need. Josh immediately reassured me. My dealership would have raked me over the coals and not been friendly about it in the process. This kind of service is rare to find these days. The search is over for me.

They have nice people which is good.Called for a simple repairs and they said come in no appt, so i showed up, started to give a list, the guy ignored it and said to tell em at the unskilled oilchg side of the shop, so I did and after one quick snap in but then 15 min of honest trying by a good guy they couldnt do the work on the spot and had no appt openings, so they wasted 25 min of my time all in.They need to listen better and would have known I needed real service.

I was able to get new tires on in less than an hour, and I LOVE the tires that were reccomeneded. The staff and waiting area are so accommodating and pleasant. I am NEVER getting Costco tires again.

Its a fine place to take your car for simple things like alignment and such, but I would go elsewhere for anything that requires troubleshooting. The last 2 times I brought my car here they scanned it, found the issue, fixed it, and within a few days the check engine light is back on and they were chasing the same issue. The third time in a row I refuse to go back.

Tuesday October 30th 2018, I had the pleasure of seeing first hand their saying at Grandview, The manner of giving is worth more than the gift, put into practice. I had several issues when I arrived, license plates that would need to be put onto my SUV Rogue, unknown to me I thought I was just getting new tabs on Tuesday, not new plates, as I looked at those rusted screws and thought, how in the world will I get these off? Also, I had recently scraped my front passenger bumper, I was physically sick about it and knew that I really could not at this time afford body work, but was reminded of it daily, not to mention my tire pressure icon going on...what next??? My concerns were quickly relieved by the most kind, calm and understanding gentleman by the name of Jason. He said they could put on my license plates, check those tires, and even to my disbelief, buff out those marks at NO CHARGE. I was so overjoyed I almost began to cry, what a testimony that GREAT COMPANIES still exist in this at times unsettling world, that good people do good works, for those of us that cannot. That Grandview stands for what they display on their changing markee, that their messages inspire and send messages that they stand behind. The front desks guys are so very helpful! When both bays were full for an oil change and cars were backed up and waiting, the front desk took my key and put my car in the queue. I really appreciate the extra service.Last week, February 25, 2015, Not only did I get my tires rotated, oil changed etc, but they informed me I needed a new filter. My expectation was to schedule another appointment for its installation. But, low and behold, the filter arrived just as I was about to leave. What service! Time is money...

I recently switched mechanics to Grandview after moving into the area. They are thorough, friendly, and dont try to sell you on unnecessary repairs. Employees have offered to drive me somewhere while I wait for my car to be complete. Definitely a plus. I would say they are typically 20-30% more expensive than other mechanics in the area.

Grandview Auto Edina is actually out of my way, but it is the place that I choose to go for my vehicle maintenance needs. Trust, honesty, timeliness and friendly come to mind. These are qualities that ensure return customers.

I had a very unpleasant experience with this company. Overall impression? They are the type of shop out to make money at the expense of people who are not familiar with auto repair. It is understandable that a company needs to make revenue, but they dont draw the line at taking advantage of people. They sell you services that you dont need, based on ignorance of diagnostics. Thankfully I have a few friends who are automechanics who raised the red flag and explained the situation. After spending a significant amount of time trying to talk to the manager about getting the price lowered, I still walked out of there spending $230 for them to conclude a bad battery and alternator. That amount doesnt reflect any repairs made. Unfortunately they wouldnt budge on their standard pricing.

We used Protech in Lakeville for 15 years and moved into the city 5 years ago. We loved Protech and in all those years we have nothing but the best of service. We were thrilled to see after our move they had a location near us in Edina at Grandview Auto on Vernon St in Edina. We still got the BEST of superior service! They are great, responsive, knowledgeable, prices are great and we will not go anywhere else! It is so reassuring to have found them! The heck with the dealetships!
