Lived here in 2020-2021 on a 15 month lease in a studio unit. Neighbors were quiet and the building was kept very clean. However, all amenities were closed due to covid and the pool was demolished so the rent was extremely high without use of the amenities. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed my parking spot for the wintertime along with the regular winter maintenance that was upheld. Very accessible to downtown Hopkins and 169. Saddened because I wanted to move into a 1 bedroom unit after my lease was up as I got married, and they never got back to me for units available and I had no choice but to move out.Other small things, these apartments are very difficult to keep cool in the summer. Expect a hefty AC bill in the summer. The appliances in my unit were great! I had a good amount of kitchen space for a studio and I was really happy with that!
In 2006 when I moved in this was an awesome property and a great place to live. They used to come into your apartment when you were on vacation and water your plants and feed your pets they would deliver the mail inside your apartment door and it would be there waiting for you when you got home from work. There was little to no crime at this property and management was awesome maintenance generally got your work order requests done the same day . Much has changed and now in 2021 I would definitely say to pass on this property. Since I have lived here management has changed hands about 6 times. They no longer water your plants feed your pets or deliver mail inside your apartment. Every time your lease is up for renewal your rent will go up a minimum of $50. Maintenance now takes days and weeks to complete work orders. Crime is at an all time high I have had a 4 Wheeler and a trailer stolen out of the garage and police are on the property at least once per week there are many thefts and vehicle breakings occurring all the time. Management is no longer friendly they try to charge for everything they DNA sample your pet and soon they will probably start DNA sampling the tenants as well. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings
Apartements are good. Staffs and maintenance is also good. But the rents are high. There are other communities nearby which has better amenities and lower rent. There is no play area or really a space for kids to play. Not in good school district, no bus stop nearby. AC in the apartments are not great. For cleanliness and maintenance,I will give 5 stars.
My husband and I have lived here for a year and a half and we LOVE it. The pool is awesome (and well maintained) in the summer, the staff is very nice, our neighbors are quiet, and who can say in-unit washer and dryer?! That was one of our musts and it was extremely hard to find without having to pay an arm and a leg. We have only had to call maintenance once or twice for very small issues and they were very quick to help us.The location is great, too. We can walk to cute little downtown Hopkins in 20 minutes, and with it being right off of 169 we can get to 494 and 394 in less than 5-8 minutes. We feel the rent is very reasonable for what you get.
Overall the apartment complex isnt horrible, but its not great. Amenities are competitive and management is okay. The rise in rent is notable and causes concern. Additionally, if you are sensitive to heat, it seems like this is a place to perhaps pass. Apartments seem to have under powered AC units that can not cool down the apartments below 80 degrees in the summer. Living here has had me become more acquainted with a cold shower more than I ever expected.
Management is ok. The maintenance staff try to do their best. However the rents have gone through the roof. My rents went up by around 40% in 4 years. My wages went up by 10% in that period. There is not much life in the apartment and you can go insane due to the long winters. Also the location is not good. There is no public transport nearby, no grocery, no shops etc for almost 2 miles. Overall, it was a mixed experience. If you have children, i suggest looking for a different place since there is no one to hang out with. On the other hand, if you are content living with no social contact, this should work amazingly well
