My son has been attending Zimmermans Freestyle Martial Arts for 7 years. He started at 6 years old in an attempt to give him protection from bullying and gain confidence. Our daughter started at 6 also and is currently a Red Belt. What is so special about our Martial Arts family is that there are no freebies. Each kid is taught the same, expectations are the same and skill set is the same as an adult would need to do in order to pass. My son got his Black Belt at the age of 11-same test as what an adult would get. He is now an assistant instructor and continues to learn not only advanced skills, but respect, work ethic and confidence. We are so lucky to have found this studio. We will forever be apart of this family! If you want a studio that makes you earn each belt, one who truly cares for you and/or your child, this is the studio for you.

The Zimmermans set up a great program over Zoom! They were extremely available to answer questions and very understanding of my childrens needs. They also start out with a lot of free content in a great trial period. Highly recommend!

Diamond, hidden in door town Eau Claire! 30+ years of experience that is still at the elite level. In my opinion there is no better way to aid in strengthening the honor, integrity, power and skill set of my daughters. From punch, kicking, one-steps, self defense, forms and weapons Zimmerman Freestyle Martial Arts delivers. Even my old muscles benefit from the adult jujitsu class. Highly recommended!

Best studio in town. My son has been attending classes for over 7 years. He has received his black belt and currently working towards his second degree. Mr and Mrs Z (owners) are family/community focused and provides individualized teaching. They build confidence and push each student to their individual limits. Absolutely amazing to be a part of this mma family. Mr and Mrs Z have done an amazing job adapting and being innovative. They have adjusted to the Covid pandemic setting up an on-line program, zoom classes as well as in studio classes using established guidelines. They look at their entire program and have added on for continuous student development such as created a black belt assistant instructor program. Absolutely amazing studio and grateful to be a part of it.
