Great bike path. Lots of places to stop and have lunch. Beautiful views of the water, the shore line, and marshes. You can make a detour to Colt park and go swimming at the beach. Lets hear it for little Rhodie.
First time on bike path. We did a round trip from India point to Warren then back. The path is very well maintained with bathrooms at about midway. Will definitely be coming back.
A lot of litter and all sun exposure. Great for biking. I wouldnt recommend walking in this area.
Great place to cycle or inline skate. Less crowded weekdays or early weekends. Plan ahead to finish with a tailwind.
One of my favorite spots for a short or long ride, so many stops along the way
Awesome bike trail. Been some minor changes since my last visit back in 2016. Pedestrians now walk into oncoming bike traffic, which is both good & bad. Trail doesn’t get overly busy. A section of the trail is currently detoured for construction close to the Warren bridge. Signage for detours is pretty good. Will be visiting again soon.
Sat at the parking lot overlooking Providence and made out with my lady. It was wonderful!
14 miles, clean, smooth ride through scenic backyards and waterfront
Love coming up here to saber the view of the city skyline and the surrounding beautiful view of the harbor to seeing the sun on the water like millions of diamonds very cool looking
Nice place to walk, run, or bike. Very relaxing just to sit and read or look at the city
Good starting point for EBBP, especially if winds are coming from the south. Parking lot usually has a lot of broken glass so be careful where you park.
Great walk/bike trail; pretty scenery;
Nice views, but a lot of trash all about.
Beautiful path with a wonderful view during the sunset 😌
Well maintained and a great bike path
Great bike path, well maintained and some incredible views of the bay.
Only saying this so people dont overpopulate it.
Wonderful. Well paved & maintained. We forgot our helmets at home & we feel very safe there.
Ride from East Providence to Bristol, RI on the best paved trail around ! Always places to stop and/or eat. Bristol is always a trip worth doing... Restaurants everywhere not to ignore the views or Colt Park. 14 miles each way from E.P., and if youve got energy, continue north thru Providence to the Blackstone River Bikeway !
Needs some work but overall okay
Tide, walk, run, skate as much or as little as you like. Wildlife, water views, and local fare. Prettiest and perhaps the most populated path in RI.
My favorite bike path anywhere.
Great place to walk, bike ride or longboard. Smoothly paved trails
Love it. 13 miles each way. Beautiful, mostly watery views. Easy, crossing when needed- which is numerous times. If you end in Bristol- eat at Adrians- great place, unbelievable cheap prices, large portions considering the location. I love this place. If you arent riding your bike and you want to try different beer tastings- great place for that too! The bike path is however a sure to please paved, well marked joy ride.
Nice place to go see Overlook the water
Love this bike path!
Lots of hills if you head south, but the north route is great.
Path is nice...but the wind was not today!
Great bike bath. Well maintained!
A very wonderful bike path. Going from Providence to Barrington there is some beautiful scenery of the water. Its especially beautiful when you go at sunset. An awesome place for some great backdrops to some pretty pictures that you take with your family. The only downfall is on the weekends its extremely busy.
Super duper cool! nice view on the bay there are a few little hidden parks off the path so keep an eye out for nature reserves and things like that.
Nice overlooks.
Well maintained and beautiful bike path complimented by equally beautiful landscapes and back waters on either side. Good for running as well as its not over crowded and yet not isolated. View of Providence city from the path itself is worth the trip!
Beautiful coastal scenery.
Beautiful vistas of the bay as you leave Providence, and then in the middle of the trip theres lots of fun places to rest and take a break.
Good place for you know what
One of the reason I bought my home close to the path I can ride my bike to the path its beautiful! Get a bike and go for it! Really gets rid of my stress!
Great starting point to park your car and head to the most beautiful path in RI. Part of the East Coast Greenway and closed to cars. I come here almost every weekend.
Beautiful views of the Bay for miles!
Beautiful view
A great Rhode Island Greenway. Very scenic.
Awesome scenery
The whole length of the path has been repaired and or resurfaced with new painted lines along the way..... In recent past, tree roots were buldging up thru the blacktop and made for a bumpy ride, all fixed now. A very enjoyable bicycle ride.
If you enjoy walking or riding a bicycle on asphalt this is a great place to go.
It has a 13 .1 miles long visible path so there and back is 26.2 an exact marathon distance great for my practice runs plus its beautiful
I enjoy so much, with a special view and over looking water is refreshing . I spend alot of time there.
Clean and well-maintained
Beautiful scenery but the path can get very busy. Watch out for little kids on bikes...
Ranging from Providence to Bristol RI, you cant best the East Bay Bike Path. Though areas (particularly closer to Providence) are not shaded, the majority offers a breeze from the ocean and significant shade, making it an enjoyable ride on even more heated days. There are little to no hills and a number of conveniences or scenery stops along the way.In Riverside, you can stop by Dairy Bee for ice cream, Bullocks General for water/trail mix/granola bars, or Borealis Coffee for a cold brew, scone, or local donut. In Barrington, you can jump off the path to easily access gelato, Shaws, Vienna Bakery, the library, Starbucks, etc. As you go through Warren, there is a Dels, bike shop, and convenience stores right along the path. You can also jump off and take a few minute ride to go to Warren Town Beach and Blount (our favorite excursions!). In Bristol, you can leave the path for Colt State Park, which is beautiful and only crowded on holiday weekends. You also hit the Audobon Society, Sip nDip, and other amenities before arriving at Independence Park.
A must go place if you love to bike.
Beautiful spot to share a take out dinner and watch the sunset overt the city ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beutiful and gull.of nature. Relaxing and uplifting
Nice scenery and path
Great bike path, takes you through a scenic route with trees, and nature, and a lake and the ocean. Its clean, has no potholes or anything, and is big enough so that you dont run into congestion problems or traffic issues on the path
Its so beautiful path
Great time of the year to go on the bike path .
