Marisol did my daughters hair and I cannot give enough thanks to her. Ive been looking for a place that can actually do her hair correctly for 11 years and I finally have found it. The cut, the style, the blowout is impeccable.Place is extremely clean!!! Everyone is very sweet always. Ive sent many people there and all have given rave reviews on the hair, the the color, and the lashes by Marisol.
GUYS IF YOU NEED YOUR HAIRCUT, ASK FOR MEECHIC, BEST CUT I EVER HAD. I have modeled for over 30 years and I am very particular about my hair. On a whim i stopped in after the Covit allowed shops to open and didnt know where to go. Well, I am picky and a tough cretic and never had such an amazing haircut like this. Ask for Meechic she KNOWS how to cut mens hair and she listens! I told her I like my hair cut every 2 weeks so dont cut too much please. That was 2 weeks ago and I was there today. Besides that the shop is super clean and the staff is very friendly and the price is right. Check it out!!
I took my daughter here to get a vivid color ombre that she has been begging for as an 8th grade graduation present. She had drawn a very clear picture of what she wanted -- a vivid blue on the bottom few inches of her dark brown hair done in a dirty bleach ombre style. She also had a photo of the color she wanted -- a sort of periwinkle lavender. I had called and asked what such a service would cost, and it took FOUR tries asking the person on the phone to get an answer. Instead, each time I asked, How much would such a thing cost? I was met with, When would you like to come in? That should have been a tip-off. Finally, on the fourth time, after they had booked a day and time, I was told $80 (there would be no cut or blow-out).When my daughter was finishing up, she was texting me that Danielle had NOT done the dirty bleach method, but had done foil highlights instead, and that the color was a dark indigo and not the lavender she showed her. My daughter was fighting tears as I went to pay, but asked that I not say anything because she is sensitive and we were also late to another appointment we had to get to. Then, I was charged $100 instead of $80 without explanation. Because we were in a rush I didnt contest it in that moment.Later, when I got home, I called the salon. I explained how upset my daughter was and how the result was not at all what she asked for and didnt look anything like the pictures she showed. I also brought up how I was charged more than I was originally told. While apologetic, the person on the phone did not offer any solution to the problem or any explanation for the increased charge.Meanwhile, just to illustrate how NOT a vivid periwinkle ombre of the bottom few inches of her hair it was, it has now been two days since it was done and my husband, who didnt know we were getting her hair colored, STILL HASNT EVEN NOTICED IT. While the color will lighten, only a few strands were bleached instead of the whole bottom. So only the bleached strands will lighten and shell have what looks like colored highlights instead of the intense, high-contrast ombre she asked for.So, I went on to my local Facebook moms group where I had originally gotten the recommendation for Karma and where the owner, Noeleen, had commented on that post nearly two weeks earlier. I briefly described the facts of what had happened in the comments section of that old post and posted collage photos of my daughters drawing vs her actual result, and mentioned Noeleens name so that she would have a chance to see it and address it. Her first response was: it will look absolutely perfect in 3 shampoos 3 hours plus $100 is a steal she could have slopped on bleach and applied blue purple that would have come out in a week this will last and look amazing after it settles in 3 shampoos if unhappy I will personally fix but writing this and bashing a business that was out of work for 3 months is rude! Then, when I addressed her accusations that I was rude (as well as implying that I underpaid and that being closed for 3 months somehow is an excuse for poor service), she said, calling the salon or any business is what you do first to rectify a situation before blasting all over social media best of luck our apologies However, in the comment that preceded this response, I had explained that I DID CALL THE SALON FIRST. Not to mention that writing something in a comments section of a two-week old post is hardly all over social media.In short, rather than being genuinely apologetic and helpful, Noeleen deflected, called me rude, suggested I underpaid, falsely accused me of bashing and blasting her business, and ignored the fact that I DID call the salon first before posting, as well as seeming to renege on her offer to fix my daughters hair with her best of luck comment.
I have been going to this salon for about 2 years now. I will never ever go anywhere else. Karma Salon is amazing and everyone really works hard and cares for what they do. I get my hair highlight, keratin treatment, nails, and facial and I have never been disappointed. Noeleen is the owner and she really knows what she is doing. I highly recommend.
I have been coming to see Noeleen at Karma for years now. She has always gone out of her way to make me laugh and take interest in what can work for me. The staff is very professional and it seems as though they are always open working! Noeleen has gone out of her way to text me personally trying to fit me in to her schedule. The work she does is always top notch and the place is always immaculate. That matters a lot to me. Thank you all for the great service!!! I am lucky to have you so close by!!
Awful place! Very dirty, the bathroom is never clean. The tools are never clean properly, I also noticed that the water in the washing sinks is not very clear, it almost looks dirty, like a brown color. Also, the manger, totally not meant to be a manger or business owner. I hope the clients and employees find a better place to get their hair done and work . Totally do NOT recommend !!!
Staff was so friendly and Professional...The Woman Candy did a great job on my hair....i was so Happy. I will always go back to them and use her services.... And the owner Noeleen was friendly .....

Very friendly atmosphere from the very first visit. My stylist moved to Florida after 30 years. Its been a rocky road searching for a new person that does it just right. My last appt with Nolleen has given me the color i want. We tried several different cuts and they were great. I went short for the first time. Today I try a new cut..

I do not like giving one star reviews but in this case, it is well deserved due to the lack of professionalism exhibited by the owner!I walked into the salon and showed the owner a picture. I explained I wanted my hair to go back to red with a few highlights because my hair was very light due to 20 years of highlights. She said she was putting in lowlights and putting dye in. After she did that my hair looked in her words muddy so we had to put highlights back in. She tried for 3 hours to get my hair color right and simply couldnt. I am a natural redhead so my hair soaks up color and is tough to strip. She said she had a great deal of experience working with red hair that she clearly did not have. She told me if I washed it a few times it may look better. I washed it once. The awful picture speaks for itself. I had 5 different colors in my hair. I told her I looked terrible and could not wait for her to try and fix it after her vacation. I had no confidence she could either.Besides bad color, my hair had a terrible smell and felt like straw. She put layers in at my request and did not blend them. I agreed not to post a review if she refunded the cost because I am a big supporter of small businesses and would prefer not to hurt them even if my experience was awful. She said they do not do refunds. She promised services she did not deliver and claimed to have experience she did not have.In addition, my sister- in-law was booked for an appointment with another colorist in her salon and the owner called and cancelled her appointment after I left. She told her she did not want to do business with people like us who were rude. She has never met her. Well people like us do the following:1. We are patient, respectful, and give you multiple chances to fix your mistakes.2. We tip you for poor performance because even though the work was terrible you did put in effort.3. Agree not to post a review as long as you remain professional and refund the money. It cost me another 4 hours in time and over $300 more to fix the mess that was made. I had to pay for childcare as well and have somebody else pick up my children. I lost four more hours of time, which with small children is needed to get things done while they are at school.As a business owner, you should know that calling up other family members of a client you just had to tell them they are rude is flat out unprofessional after you destroyed their hair. I should have been rude but It is not my way of doing business. It also shows a lack of character and poor judgement. She would have cancelled anyway but other people need to know that this is how you operate your business.There are so many local salons to support. Bad service is bad service but a bad attitude and not taking responsibility for your mistakes is another far bigger problem. Due to the amount of time, money, energy, and aggrivation I had to go through, I would highly suggest you go elsewhere!
Lets just say the owner is a piece of work & doesnt deserve to be in business. Great customer service is not offered here.
