Today was my first time in Victoria Spa. I was impressed at the size and the pedicure area but that’s sadly where it ends. $27 for a rushed, no frills pedicure. The person who greeted me was pretty gruff and since I was never there before I didn’t know where I was going. Everyone just sort of disappeared, I had to find my own way. When it was over, I paid. No one came with me to the drying station. I had to figure out how to turn the dryer on myself. No one say good bye when I left. My normal place - everyone is so friendly. I won’t be back to this place sadly, I wanted to love it.
Ive been going to Victoria Nails since I moved to the area, about 3 years. I was a regular customer there about 2 times a month along with my husband. Every time I am there, I am rushed or treated poorly by the nail tech. I had left my wallet in my car and told the nail tech that I had to run out to grab it. He asks me to leave my phone behind as collateral in a very nasty manor. Honestly, coming from a regular customer, I was very offended. my nails werent even painted for him to assume I would walk out and not pay the bill ESPECIALLY FOR $40. I let that go. The next time I went, I had asked the same gentlemen to hand me color that was behind the plexiglass. Given other customers being there, I tried to respect their personal space while maintaining 6 ft. apart which is why I asked for his assistance. Mind you, again my nails were NOT painted and I had already PAID, all I had to do was sign the receipt.. He threw my credit card onto the table and kept yelling SIGN SIGN SIGN. He wouldnt hand me the nail polish until I signed (EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY PAID FOR SERVICES.) I finally was vocal about my issue with this young man who is EXTREMELY RUDE. The older gentleman, the only one who seams to speak English tried to diffuse the issue but I simply will not be returning to such an unprofessional and rude establishment. they seem to take on more business than they can handle as well... given the pandemic I understand businesses were hurt and writing poor reviews are not ideal, however nobody should experience anything like this. DO NOT GO HERE.
Came in for a simple mani pedi. The guy in the front is so rude, yells at you and if you ask to repeat himself he gets angry. The nail tech stabbed my cuticle and it started bleeding and she didn’t even bother cleaning the area. She painted over the blood. Few days later the base of my fingernail is swollen, painful, and red. Not coming back here.
They do a fantastic job at my lashes (Mya) and my uv gel nails 💅 and nail art (I use Michael). I also get gel Polish pedicure
I have been doing my nails since I was 15 and about a month ago I stopped in here to get a fill in and experienced the worst customer service ever!!!! Did a horrible job on my nails, paid $55 and they refused to fix them unless I paid another $25. I just took my nails off and I have fungus on one of my nails. This has never happened to me before I am disgusted and shocked !!! I know it was this place cause they had given me a full set!!! My nails have never been so weak and brittle. Save the trip, save your money, save yourself the hassle!!!!!!!
Does a beautiful job and everyone is so friendly here! Definitely will be coming back again
Unprofessional nail salon. Never on time and rushes clients, terrible manicure and pedicure. Very rude. They literally asked us to leave without drying nails because they had to close shop at 6pm.
Beautiful place, got a pedicure
Clean location, pleasant staff, a nice location for a mini spa day.
I absolutely love it here and am always happy how my nails come out. I’ve been coming here since they opened and won’t go anywhere else very clean and friendly and reasonably priced too which is always a plus!!!
Rude, rushed and one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
I was actually loving this place until I went today. They are very cleanly and very strict with taking temps at the door and all (due to covid) which is great. But, today I went in to have my nails done and the guy (whom was young) that did my nails literally ripped every single one of my nails off after soaking them for 3 mins. Pain wasn’t even the problem it was the fact that he broke off all my real nails I was actually in shock that he was doing that. One of my nails ripped so low I wish I took pictures it was HORRIBLE! Then when he proceeded to do my nails I had to tell him how to dip them because he had no clue what he was doing. Lastly, I was being nice in still giving the guy a tip told him take $5 he stood staring into for 3 mins then took my card and gave himself a $6 tip. Yes it’s a dollar difference but he knew what I said because I precisely told him how much it’d be in total. I usually love this place don’t get me wrong but this is the literal last time I’ll be going. That was the worst experience of my life for real.
1st time coming I got an acrylic fillin....Mike did an amazing job correcting my previous nail techs work. Im definitely coming back...yes they are pricey but you get what you pay for...🤷🏾♀️follow-up......Had my fill-in done by another young man but I didnt get his name. 4 nails broke off at the tip less than one week after getting them done. My thumbnail broke off below the nail-bed and my middle finger broke less than 4days after getting them done. They did fix the middle finger but then others started to break... My advice.... ONLY GO TO MIKE. I dont think Ill be back, the folks at Blue Sky in greenlawn are much more personable, fixed my nails, and did a good design.
After 5 days the whole left hand started to pop off (she is right handed) terrible. expensive they charged extra for this shape! they were acrylic with gell polish . I also got mine done different guy they are still on but have bubbles and are lumpy .
They do amazing gel nails, manicure not great at all. But their attitude is the absolute worst!! Beyond rude and act like theyre annoyed to be doing your nails
Great pedicures, Ok manicures, they do a nice job on extensions (mostly gel). A few people Ive recommended the place to say the employees are rude. I dont make conversation when I go there, so I dont really experience that.
Although my nails came out exactly how I wanted them, they do not spend time on cleaning up around the nail or toenail. Its very calming inside and quiet they do a good job with polish and gel, just not a fan of how long my leg massage was compared to the time it took for them to cut, file, clean, and paint my toes...
Love this place I’ve been getting my nails done here every two weeks for months and it’s awesome! Never had a chip 👏🏻
I was extremely disappointed! The guy doing my nails was to busy watching the tv as he worked. The color tone wasn’t what I wanted, had he looked at them he may have noticed this! Without regards to my opinion he abruptly disappeared and I was given the bill which isn’t cheap! As for the pedicure that was quite a surprise when they used a cheese grater to remove the dry skin from the bottom of my feet. Wasn’t happy with the product choice nor the quick service on them!
Beautiful salon but horrible customer service. My nail tech was so rude! I honestly couldn’t believe it. I’m also not a rude or demanding person by any means. I got a full set, and am also not picky about my nails. I asked him to make the edges a little rounded and he didn’t answer so I said it again thinking he didn’t hear me but I guess he did bc he got annoyed & gave me a rude response. I asked a question about a polish color and he just responded NO, not answering my question. It was pretty bizarre. On top of that he didn’t do the cuticle oil, or trim my cuticles or even put any lotion on my hands at all. Then I went to the dryer and there was no little massage (I know that is not always standard) or even a good bye or thank you or anything. It really was an uncomfortable experience. I do not recommend it!
I am literally writing this while sitting here. I questioned how can polish be applied before washing your feet! This process they have is totally unsanitary! I brought to the attention of the management who claims it’s no problem! Someone tell me that this is ok! I can walk in with dirty feet and have polish applied first, before washing!!!!!!!!!!!
I got a gel manicure here and it began chipping on multiple fingers by day 6. When a gel manicure should last closer to 14 days this is highly disappointing. They also use the electric nail file which was too strong and made my nails even weaker than the typical buffing file other places use, so if you dont already have strong nails I wouldnt recommend coming here, it only makes the situation worse. On the bright side the place is clean, and its large so you dont have to wait very long.
Very clean and elegant and relaxing atmosphere but. Constantly trying to push spa treatments after 2x that i said no. The girl had no smile or small conversation after She had nothing else to sell me. My boyfriend came to pick me up and notice her attitude. Would go back but will reguest someone else.
Beautiful, clean salon. I’ve been using all the Victoria’s nails in Nassau County forever. I was so happy to see them branching out to Suffolk after moving here. Smithhaven Mall Location is opening soon as well. They do a great job and are always friendly.
This places quality has decreased significantly. I’ve been to a few of their locations across the island for the past 3-4 years but the quality has changed so much in that time (not in a good way). I went the day before the 4th of July for a gel pedi and regular manicure. The technician tried to paint toes first without cutting my nails or cuticles or soaking my feet! She tried to tell me it would last longer which is not true... and no other nail technician was doing it that way to their customers. I had to direct her on how to do my nails. I’ve never seen anything like it. I also was getting my previous acrylic soaked off and they used regular nail polish remover and NOT ACETONE so they wouldn’t come off. She then left acrylic on two of my nails and I noticed and she tried to file them but it wasn’t removed. She then had the nerve to paint over them with regular polish. She also cracked my toenail and put gel builder on the toenail and it completely split my toenail in half two days later. I have never experienced such terrible service and such poor service quality materials used. Please seek other nail salons with people that are actually trained. I had to remove all of my polish the next fat because it was chipping. Now I feel naked because I don’t have pretty shiny nails. Terrible experience please avoid at all costs.
Mike does a great job! Fair prices and very clean salon.
Mike is an AMAZING technician! He does my permanent French. He gets you in & out in under an hour. Great attention to detail & fair pricing.
I love this place. The people are friendly and do a good. I had a nail technician for over 10 yrs and when we parted ways I find this place and have been going every since.
My nails look amazing but some of the staff is so rude. The man doing my nails acted like it was bothering him to do them. He cut me twice and didn’t listen when I told him he was hurting me.
I never write reviews.. but today I got the worst service. Ive been here a couple of times and thought that they were kinda rude (expect Monica). This last time I had one of the rudest male employees. He acted as if I was bothering him to give me a manicure. I am a hairstylist and know what its like to be in the customer service industry. Tip to the man who gave me the shittiest $10 manicure if your unhappy with your job maybe its not for u!!!
Did a beatuiful job on my nails!
Love this place. Fill in. Pedicure. Eyelash extension. Celina is fabulous. So are the rest of the staff ❤️
Very clean and professional nail salon. A little more on the expensive side but good for a regular mani/pedi. I usually always go with just the Essie nail colors. Maya is great ! Friendly staff.
I really needed eyelash extensions but could not see paying $250 every few weeks for fill ins. I heard from a friend that this place did it for much less so I went in to give it a try. The woman who did my eyelashes was very nice and said they would last upto 2 weeks. The NEXT day they started to fall out, in clumps! It was a sunday so I decided to wait till monday after work to go back for my $80 (I did not ask for the $20 tip I left) The man there was on the phone with the owner explaining the situation. He did not want to reinburse me, instead he first said that they could redo them, I did not want that. Then he said he would give me a gift card for half the price. Again I explained that I just wanted my money back. Then he said he would give me a gift card for the full price. Again NO! finally he went to hand me my $80 put pulled back as I reached for it! I was totally agravated at this point and said I would call the police, at this point he went to hand me my money but would not let go! Finally I got my money and walked out. What a wierd experince!
Called to make an appointment and they told me they don’t know if they’re open tomorrow.. how do you not know what your hours are ?
Clean and quick.
Over priced
