We had an ancient septic system that went from functional to failing in a matter of weeks in the early days of coronavirus. We desperately needed a replacement system and were panicked. Quackenbush answered the call and held our hands through the expedited state, county and town processes and installed the new system in time to keep us in our home. Danielle and her team in the office looked after us and simplified the byzantine paperwork. Jim and his installation team were so professional, taking great care not to tear up our yard while undertaking major ground works to install the new system. You would think cesspool service is a commodity item w no value added right? My septic was backing up into my bathroom after a heavy rain so obviously the cesspool needed to be emptied. From my 1st call to my last call everyone that answered the phone was helpful, super nice (og suffolk county), etc. The gentleman that came to the house to empty the cesspool was an amazingly nice guy (Leo) and was just great! What a great company to deal with from top to bottom (and i did Get to speak w one of the owners as a happenstance- she was super nice as well). We were impressed by the responsiveness of Quackenbush and their very skilled and hard-working crew when we had a septic system emergency in East Hampton last year. In a panic when our drains were not working and began backing up, we knew almost nothing about the location of our drain line, septic fields and tank. The Quackenbush crew had to excavate to find our line and replace all the faulty parts. We are grateful for their patience and hard work.

Outstanding, professional, prompt, willing to answer each and every question that I had regarding my cesspool ISSUE and most importantly they cleaned up everything and put the area around the cesspool back to the way they found it before the work was started. The in-house staff of Danielle, Lindsey and Maude were helpful in my understanding the billing and the services that were needed, Danielle even told me it was a waste of money to pump the cesspool as the pool wasnt full of water and pumping the type of pool that I have might have damaged the pool by unnecessary pumping. I have a block pool that takes care of creating its own bacteria to keep the pool in good working order. Michael the tech on my job was professional answered all of my contractors questions (Michael was really quizzed..lol) and made sure that the everything was perfectly done both upstairs and my basement bathroom. His apprentice Mauriccio was also excellent, you would have never known it was his first day on the job and he learning. I have had some awful experiences before with other cesspool companies at the house and truly dreaded this project, but THANK YOU Quackenbush for making my day and making life in the house viable. Hope not to need you again, but will definitely recommend your company to anyone that has cesspool issues. JOB WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!
