I went in with multiple trouble lights lit on the dash. They ran a diagnostic and determined that there many codes set in the computer. After consideration of my options I decided to forego further work at this time. They did not push me to make repairs and did not even charge for the diagnostic. When I returned home they had forwarded copies of the diagnostics read outs via email to my computer. Thanks Tom for a very pleasant experience. I will be back.

I came to this auto repair shop to get a pre-sale inspection on a Subaru Forester I was interested in. Even though certain events causes both I and the seller to be around 33 minutes late to our appointment, they were patient and still got us in and checked the car in a timely manner. As for the result of the checkup, they gave a detailed list of things that were wrong with the car and potential costs of repair. All in all the car just wasn’t worth it and they helped me to avoid a bad purchase. Also, the customer service is great!

Left my vehicle off and they honored their warranty and it was done by the time I needed it by( it was a minor part-new gas cap fixed it)!

I was looking for a quote on suspension work and was up in the air about having the repair work done or not. The staff at East was so helpful in contacting my aftermarket insurance company and saved me thousands of dollars finding out that most of the repair was under warranty!! I will definitely return to this shop and will need it as I have teenagers driving now, too!

They got us in a timely manner. And the guys where nice. But the price that was quoted was way to high!!!! $7300 and we are getting the better service and a better price at small shop in Burnsville. Would not recommend you all to any one.

Dominique is always very helpful on the phone and will do everything that he can to get you in same day for an oil change! I still try to make an appointment but if I have a last minute request, many times I can get my vehicles in or dropped off in an hour or two! Prices are reasonable as well.

I had a broken ignition button on a jeep cherokee. They got me in fast and did a great job updating me on repair status. Repair was perfect and they gave me a loaner. Loaner was a bit old and had a couple minor issues but was free. Id go back for sure.

Came in for an oil change and tire rotation, and to inspect and hopefully fix my Corollas AC busted at speeds 1+2 and a rear tire leak. They reported that my battery failed a load test, the front tires treads were on their way out, and options for other repairs I could do or defer. Due to arguments around costs and DIY options with my family, I had to call several times to check about pricing and confirming whether to go through with my preferred list of services. Michael and Dominik were polite and straightforward during each call, providing all needed facts and info. Got my car back next day with all AC speeds operable, the battery replaced, and the tires replaced and serviced. Price was reasonable enough.

First time I brought the car in to get an oil change, started the car up and oil shot out the bottom of the car. Now they gave me an estimate on fixing my air conditioner. 1200 and some odd dollars. I got two other opinions. The one fixed it for $100. It was just a leak in the Freon. Works perfectly now. Make sure you get A second opinion. Or better yet, don’t go there at all. Doesn’t even look like they can do an oil right.

Hi Fred I have to be honest with you. I wasn’t impressed with my service. Your team miss diagnosed my car problem and we were with out a vehicle for two full days. I probably would have gotten the repair done had they got the problem figured out in the first place.The issue here was we are having issues filling up our Jeep. I did some research myself and think it’s the roll over switch in the gas tank. Your tech said it was the fuel stem itself. They replaced the fuel stem and that didn’t work. The tech then suggested it was the tank that needed to be replaced at a much higher expense. If he would have been honest in the first place I would have gotten the repair done. You have lost my business and reference for any further repairs. Tim

Dominick was very helpful with an A/C problem on a 1946 pickup hot rod. Many shops wont even service collector vehicles.

Honest One does a great job of auto repair. They have the best employees and are always up front. They never push items you dont need like most others. Wish they had other parts suppliers that could bring down the overall cost. I found one on line that would save me 2/3rds the cost on a catalytic converter but Im not able to use that vendor. Other than that, great service.Al

Tom was fantastic and saved me the $60 dollar gas charge which is the reason this is three stars. I put 1 gallon of gas in which put it above the mark instead of on the full mark. $60 bucks for that? Might need to look into the gas policy. Thank you Tom for saving me the $60.

I’ve only heard bad things about this place. The sales people are super pushy to get you to buy services on your vehicle. They try to tell you that things are broken or need replacing when they don’t need to be replaced. There’s nothing honest about this place and I would recommend going somewhere else.

The true sign of excellent service is when things dont go right the 1st time. There was a problem with the part installed and one phone call got a tow truck to me and the repairs taken care of in a timely manner. We will be a customer for life!

Your company is known as Honest-1...the truth is, there is a lot of Dis-Honest people representing you and your reputation. I bought to your east location shop in Eagan Mn. I discussed the issues I was having with my 2009 Nissan Maxima. your service adviser took the info I shared with him about the Issues that bought me to your shop. He stated his mechanics would diagnose the problems and he would communicate those issues with me.I also made it a point to bring it to his attention that I has already received a diagnosis from a Nissan dealership in the area. The service advisor pass that info on to his mechanic and they started the repairs. I received a call to pickup my car from the shop. My car operated ok for 4 days and then it was operating worse than when I bought it to your shop...I call and they ask me can I drop it off again to check the issues...which was Check Engine light...here’s the problem...the car is running 10 times worst than when I initially bought it to the shop...I drove less than a mile and the car continually cut off,it vibrated uncontrollably and it would not accelerate...so I limped it back to the shop for your mechanics to look at it again....Your service guy explain to me that unfortunately my car was not completely diagnosed correctly and they missed finding out that there was a O2 sensor undiagnosed....After being billed over 1,100. Dollars...he wanted to charge me an additional 400.00 plus dollars to maybe get it right on the second attempt...I refuse to be duped into this scam and misfortune of bringing my car to your shops for repairs...I hope you address this issue with your reps at your service...you don’t want your business to be related to scams as such as the one your service adviser perpetrated on me and my wife....That’s a sad commentary....thanks for your time...Glenn Matthews....

They texted me the complete computer print out of my vehicle including everything that needed to be looked at as well as things that were OK and even had accompanying videos. No guess work, and the staff was great.

I got my oil changed here and the experience was great. I only had to wait about an hour and I was out the door. The waiting room was comfortable and everyone was very pleasant to work with. Ill definitely be back!

Honest 1 auto care east in Eagan was the best place I have ever gotten my car fixed by far. I greatly appreciate the helpful team there. They got me in as soon as I called and my car was ready within 24 hours. The price was reasonable and affordable. They really do stand for their name - honestly. There wasn’t any sales pitching trying to get me to fix what did not need to be done. Dominik the sales manager had exceptionally great customer service. Communication could not have been better. I had a tire alignment done here. The service was great! We had been told it would take an hour to an hour and a half but they were done in about 40 minutes. Everyone was very friendly and while they highlighted some maintenance items that could be done based on mileage and provided estimates there was no pressure to have it done immediately.

I brought my truck here to troubleshoot some electrical issues that were going on. They kept me informed throughout the process, kept me up to date on the billing prices, and provided me a complimentary loaner car to drive until my truck was fixed. When I had some issues afterwards related to how they had fixed the vehicle, the manager of the store (Joe) called me to make it right. I was reimbursed for certain charges and Joe made sure I was able to fix the issues that had come up. While I wish the issue had been fixed correctly the first time, I am satisfied in how the owner of the store responded to the mistake and made sure my truck was fixed correctly. That is a rare thing to find in business today and I am glad to see local businesses still embracing that kind of interaction with its customers.

Took my car there for an oil change recently. My car was not leaking oil when I dropped it off. I picked it up and now have a large puddle of oil on the driveway. They stripped the oil pan and gave me an estimate to replace it. Thats quality service. It should be Dishonest-1.

Highly recommend the staff, they were able to get me in immediately for 3 separate emergencies. At the first appointment they warned me about a likely future problem and when it happened a week later I was prepared. Gave me a loaner vehicle for the third emergency that kept me doing my job. Able to keep my commitments and pick up my car a few hours later. Really great service.

My wife and I have been using Honest-1 since we moved to Eagan 3 years ago. They’ve got reasonable prices, a clean facility, loaner cars/shuttle rides if you drop your car off, and great staff! They live up to their name, especially with my most recent experience.In January I purchased a vehicle from a family member and brought it in for an oil change. I noticed a week later that the oil cap had been left off and was luckily still in the engine bay, but was covered with road salt and grime.Now, I understand everyone is human and mistakes will happen, how you handle them is what truly matters, and in this case where Honest-1 really shines.When I called to let them know what happened, they offered to have me bring it in for another oil change at no charge to flush any contaminants. They also said they’d make sure to use this as a training example for the entire team to make sure it wouldn’t happen again.My personal life got busy and I wasn’t able to bring it in during the next few weeks as discussed, so I just assumed I’d missed my window to have it changed for free.I stopped in last Friday for an oil change (8 months later) and headed over to Trail Stop Tavern to hang out while I waited. When I returned, the clerk let me know they had waived the charge due to my previous issue and wanted to make things right. I was surprised and thrilled!I returned 2 days later to have them replace a few suspension links they’d noticed during the oil change. When I dropped it off I mentioned that my brakes may need to be replaced and that I’d authorize that service too (pads and rotors) if needed. They called me after looking at it and said I still had 50% life left in them and could hold off on brakes for a bit if I wanted to.This is a moment where a typical shop could have just done my brakes as I requested and charged an extra ~$600 above the $250 worth of suspension items I came for, but they gave me an honest assessment and helped me save some money. This is exactly why I trust them with my vehicles and would recommend them to anyone!

We had a window malfunction between the church and my nieces wedding reception. We were desperate for a repair. My sister recommended we call Honest 1 because she goes there. They were amazing. Squeezed us in and stayed late on a Saturday afternoon to get us back on the road. So friendly and helpful.

They give a great warranty and are always professional. I think their prices are fair. When I need a loaner as I live alone and they have always accommodated me with one.

I brought my car in for an some work and there were a few issues that the techs had fixing the problem. Joe, the store manager, called me the next day and explained that they were not satisfied with what they did (the work quality was great, but there was some extra work that was done that didn’t need to be done) and he refunded me my payment to make it right.
