This is the place for reliable, reasonably priced repair and/or maintenance for your vehicle. I live in St. Paul and will gladly drive to Eagan for Toms services. Hes fixed everything from the valve lifters in my truck to the check engine light to the breaks. He can do it all and for a more than fair price. Hes respectful and honest, keeping in tradition of when Autofix was owned by Rich. Toms a good dude. Go to his shop.

Tom runs a small auto repair shop with NO bells and whistles and he is VERY reasonable and efficient. Since its a single man shop, you may have to wait a bit longer to get your work done - but it is well worth it. He doesnt inflate the estimate to just pad his pockets, its work that needs to be done.

Took my car into Toms place as something was dragging on ground. Took time to hoist up and check out and quick fix at absolutely no charge. Saved me time and money to get back home without doing further damage to my car.

I wish I could leave ten stars. I work out of my truck, and absolutely depend on it everyday. I pulled into Tom’s place just minutes before he was closing up for the night, just to get a quick inspection. He knew exactly what my problem was and explained the severity of the situation. I was expecting to have to miss work the following day to get the problem resolved elsewhere, as Tom is booked out pretty far. But instead, Tom offered to stay late and fix my problem anyway. And at a very fair price. This is an honest mechanic that genuinely cares to help the people seeking his business. Ten stars!

Deserves 6 stars. Been to Richs Autofix just a few times but hands down the best service Ive ever received. Ive had services quoted around 450 and he gets it done for under a hundred. Outside of his good services and good prices just seems like a good guy.

I took my car to Richs the other day after reading the other reviews on Google+. The honest review stood out to me, as honesty is the #1 quality I need out of a mechanic. Richs is not only exceptionally honest, but also absolutely affordable. He fixed my car quickly, inexpensively, and properly. I have had no issues with his work. He was very nice and took the time to explain what had happened to my old car parts and even showed me the wear on them.If youve never been to Richs, be aware the front of the building has a sign for another business, Richs door is around the back of the building.

Tom does great work at a great price, tells me exactly what my car really needed unlike other shops. Would highly recommend!

If I cant do it my self it goes to Rich. Straight forward and honest. he does it right the the first time for the cheapest in town and never suggest unnecessary work. But if he does suggest anything do it now. it will save you more in the long run. Entrance is around back of building as a FYI

Rich has been working on my familys vehicles for almost 2 decades now. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else. He is honest, fair, and his turn around times are always astounding. His prices beat anyone else by leaps and bounds, and he always gives it to you straight. Hes a big, tough ex-marine with a flat top, but dont let him fool you. Hes a real sweetheart of a man, and will save the day-guaranteed. If he ever retires, I might just stop driving!

Weve taken our cars to Rich for years and dont take them anywhere else. He cares for your car like its his own - offering you simple fixes and recommending non-OEM parts when advisable - and theres never any pressure to go ahead with a given procedure. We used to shop around, but theres no point anymore. Rich is always the best deal in town and his work has never failed to hold up.

My family and i have been going to riches auto fix since I was 16 years old I am now 33 and still call Rich for any of my car problems oil changes breaks question, ECT Rich is always honest never over charges me for parts or labor and does a fantastic job . A buddy told me about Rich 10 years ago, have been bringing him all my vehicles ever since. Just a great guy/honest & if he can not fix something he will recommend where to go. He fixes what you need fixed and never upsells you on things you dont need. I have asked for a quote one time in the last 9 years, had a broken front axle. Car was worth $2,000 - new axle $2,000 + Parked the car at Richs and he said when he finds a used one he would call me, he said it might be a long time. 8 months later he found one out of state, put it in charged me $560 or something like that, drove that car for another 2 years. Rich has worked on 7-8 vehicles of mine over the past 10 years, without a doubt he has saved me thousands of dollars over that time frame.My wife had our Maxima at a dealership for a recall part and they told her it needed extensive break work. Pads, calipers, rotors, they told her it would need $980 of work and it was not safe to drive. I told her to drive it home and we will check out Rich. This was the first time I met Rich, he looked it over. (I did not tell him what the dealership said was wrong)He said I could use front pads, cant remember what he charged me but it was well under a $100. I showed him the quote from the dealership, we both laughed and I have been going to Rich ever since. I drove that Maxima for another 150,000 miles and I still never had to replace the rotors.....

His shop is a very busy shop but he fit me in as soon as he could and he does Great work and prices are Very reasonable!!!

We take all of our vehicles to Rich including our 1968 Dodge Charger. No one else ever does our maintenance except Rich. He is the best and knows his classic cars, especially Mopars!
