Been getting my haircut with Patrick for a long time & wouldnt get my haircut anywhere else. The best!

Rockwood reminds me of the neighborhood barber shop I visited with my granddad, right down to the soda machine and quarter candy. They dont serve scotch while you wait, but theres muted sports on the TV & you come out looking sharp & clean.

Pat is a great barber! He offers great haircuts at decent prices but perhaps the best quality of his is just being a good person. Locally owned and operated. The barbers here are excellent and you can call ahead and schedule an appointment. You can always count on a great cut. I generally dont have the time to sit around a barber shop and wait for a seat, so I greatly appreciate the prioritization of scheduled appointments.

Been a regular of Pats for almost 8 years now. Best cut in town and great conversation. Barbers and shops like Pats are hard to find these days, just like bartenders. You dont just get a cut, you get great stories, great advice and a great friend.

Literally just called to ask for an appointment for a beard trim and the person on the phone was extremely offended and rude towards me for not getting a haircut as well. He literally could have just said Im sorry but its not possible because we need to reserve the spots but instead he took it personal for some very odd reason and spoke to me in a rude demeanor. I was just inquiring about a beard trim it should not be responded with such unprofessionalism and harshness.

Great full service barbershop, offering just about everything you might want. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but if you stay in the exterior lot you will be fine. Brannon did a great job on my hair.

His prices are great and gives the best hair cuts. Best part is the warm cream and strait razor on the back of your neck. No more gorilla neck.

Moved here about 6 years ago and spent several months trying to find a REAL barber & barbershop. This is it; nothing fancy just the basics but Pat is excellent at his trade. I like the idea of appointments only, the shop is very old school and always clean. Only one chair but when you have the best barber in town then the second chair would only be decoration. Absolutely worth a visit!

Just got my first haircut there today and I couldnt be happier. After my move from Charlotte I have been looking for a traditional mens barber shop and now I have found it. The shop is clean and well taken care of, sports on the TV and good conversation. I will not have to review another local shop because I have found my spot. I recommend Rockwood Barbershop to anyone looking for a great haircut, at a good price.

Ive used this shop for two years now and I really like it. There is only one chair, one barber. He gets to know you quickly. I only had to tell him one time how I wanted my hair and he has nailed it ever since.My aunt has been a stylist for over 30 years. For Christmas she gave my wife and kids and I a cut. My wife and kids use an expensive stylist in Atlanta only because they cant get down to Tallahassee to see her every month. She pointed out everything that was wrong about their cuts, but said to me, Whoever it is that cuts your hair, knows what theyre doing. Take it from me, thats high praise, it had been 6 weeks since I had it cut.

For men with thinning hair, there is finally someone who knows how to cut hair without trying to give you a comb over. Excellent service and perfect results! Shop has moved to other side of building and has new name Rockwood Barber.
