Called them with no prior appointment and explained that brakes had an issue. Asked me to come in for a brake checkup, I was there within 30 minutes, checkup was done in about 20 minutes, check up included a test drive and putting the car on a lift. All four brakes were inspected. Pete was very detail oriented and professional. Pete explained to me that given the age of the brakes they are still under warranty and that the car was safe to drive. Pete advised me that I should take the car to the original brakes installer for a warranty fix. Very honest, Pete didnt even charge me for his time and service. Wonderful local business.

Amazing staff and I always have a good experience every time I come here! They are usually always able to fit me in their busy schedule, even if its last minute! They tell you exactly whats wrong with your car, if they are or are not able to fix the issue, and the typical cost for the repair. Highly recommend and will continue coming back!

I honestly think the reviews are fake. I came here to have my car looked at and the guy at the front greeted me and he was very nice but the lady was so rude to me. And she’s very rude every time i bring my car here. She greeted me with “what do you guys want?! Why is your car just sitting there in the way?” Um because that’s where i was told to park it. Otherwise they do great work on my car but the customer service is not 5 stars.

They do a great job on your cars and also charge less than what other people charge in this area. This is the place to go if you have any issue related to cars. I chime in with the other 5 star reviews - honest and hardworking. They always explain what they find/what they think you need and dont need. We had Pablo for our Subaru and he was awesome. The lady at the front and other mechanics were also very friendly and kind. Highly recommend.

This group is wonderful. They only work on Japanese cars and truly know each model. Ive gone to them for oil changes and major analysis and fixes. The shuttle service is convenient. The only downside is that its impossible to get an appointment, and the waiting room isnt nice.

Pete was very helpful. Talked with me over the phone about the issues I was having even before I scheduled an appoint, and pointed me to a specific technical bulletin from Honda that explained the problem so I could research it further myself. Also, I called around for quotes, and Wasp had the best price.

I started taking my car to Wasp about a year ago when I needed new rear brakes. They do a great job for great prices. This last time I took my car in for an inspection, oil change, to check my AC, and front brakes. I dropped my car off before they opened and then they called me when it was ready. I highly recommend them!

Took my car to Toyota dealership in apex and got a quote of more than 1k for brake work and brake fluid. Took my car to Wasp for second opinion. Very courteous staff. I didn’t have an appointment but they accommodated quickly. Pete took a look at my brakes and told me that they look like they have lot of life left and can easily last another 20k miles. That means another 3-4 years for me. I told him about brake fluid and he said it looks clean and Toyota usually doesn’t require brake fluid changes. He said he will take my money if I still want to change things that don’t need changing. These folks are the most honest people I have met in this business. Saved me lot of money. I am taking all my future car repairs to Wasp.

Ive been a customer of Wasp for 3 years (ever since I moved to the area). They take care of my 2009 Honda CRV. They are honest, reliable and hire only experienced mechanics. You really couldnt ask for more. But I was almost afraid to give my review. They already have plenty of work and Im afraid theyll get to a point where they have to start turning people away!

Been using this shop for almost 5 years now. Recently I used them for a dead battery. The mechanic checked every fuse until they found out it was a parasitic alternator draining the battery. Alternator was replaced for a reasonable price.

Wasp was great at finding the electrical problems with her car. No power after turning it off. It was a loose terminal. They found it with no problem. Plus they shuttled me to and from work. That alone was worth it. I have another car that I will take. That is more of challenge. Lets see how they handle it.

They are incredibly knowledgeable and honest. I saved over a thousand dollars for two repairs when I came here. Another shop told me certain things were wrong, and Wasp realized it was another issue - luckily a much cheaper one!

They do not work on Nissan cars. I called them before I went, and a man told me to come right away when I explained my problem but did not ask what kind of car I have. I went inside the shop and stood there no one guided me where to go for awhile. Many people worked but they tried not to look at me. Finally a customer walked by me and told me to go around the corner for service. Then I was told they do not do Nissan...I needed to know that before I wasted my time.

Wasp has excellent technicians, their prices are reasonable, and actually low in comparison to most shops, and they are scrupulously honest.

Ive had work done on my cars twice at Wasp Automotive, and both times have been impressed. First, they fixed a wheel stud that had snapped off on the day I brought it in for a very reasonable price. The next time I visited, they checked my alternator after a Big Chain store told me I needed a replacement. Wasp Automotive said the alternator was fine, saving me hundreds of dollars. Theyll be getting more of my business in the future.

Ive been here a few times for minor repairs and concerns with my Honda. My S/O always came here when he had his old Accord. The staff are always extremely nice. They are also knowledgeable and provide me with more than enough information to make decisions on repairs. Theyre honest and will let you know if a procedure should be done right away or if its optional. I will continue to bring my car here for service.

These guys are fantastic! I have taken my CRV there for the last three years and was never disappointed. I appreciate the service and care they provide their customers as well as the shuttle service. The shuttle service allowed me to continue with my day while they worked on the car. For me, they are the gold standard and it will be difficult-if not impossible - to replace them now that i have moved out of town. I highly recommend them!

This place is by far the best auto service (for Japanese cars) Ive ever visited. They would give you the honest evaluations with no hidden issues. Their prices are also extremely reasonable. If something you dont need to fix they would tell you directly. Though occasionally I had to wait for their customer service, I still prefer going to them than any other places. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who has a Japanese car.

This is a little late but I have to say Wasp Automotive left a very good first impression on me! Other mechanics were trying to charge me 2,000 to fix my air condition when it was a small fix. Needless to say they lost my business and Wasp gained a new faithful customer! Being honest and having integrity will gain you more business and loyal customers rather than the way a lot of the car shops do it, by preying on woman especially because they seem to think we are all stupid and won’t get a second opinion! This was an excellent location to service our Japanese manufactured vehicles. Last week we took our Toyota in for brakes and the advice and service we received confirmed all of the positive comments posted here from previous customers. After that I decided to have my Honda pickup serviced and again found technicians there with valuable information about the maintenance of it. I took my Honda Accord there for years with excellent service. They would drive me to work and come get me later. Other times I would sit for a while for inspection or lube and get to work quickly afterward.I have a Tacoma now and I dont even think about going somewhere else. The guys at Wasp Auto are the best! I have gone there for a few years. They are honest and dont tell you something needs fixed when it doesnt. They tell you what is wrong and give you the options of how you want it fixed. Today, my check engine light went on. I called for an appointment and they told me to bring it on in anytime this afternoon. I got there and within 10 minutes, they had looked at the car and fixed the problem, at no charge! It is hard to find this kind of honest service in the auto industry. They have my business for life.

I will never go anywhere else! If you dont have a mechanic in your actual family, this is the next best thing, because these guys feel like a pair of sweet uncles who would never steer you wrong. I actually went in for a repair, and was very kindly told to consider what other repairs might realistically be waiting for me in the near future, as my car is getting elderly. :) Armed with this new information I actually decided to go a different way, and the poor guys at Wasp, who had generously given me their time and expertise, never even made the repair! Its an all day affair when you have a big job (plan on dropping it off the night before, and picking it up the day after). BUT, BUT, I wouldnt let anyone else touch my car! Galens a class act, and so is WASP Automotive! By the way, I work at a local, major new car dealership where I receive very generous employee discounts for vehicle service.

This is a small mom and pop automotive service company thats pretty well-known locally for Subaru service. Ive taken my Subaru to them several times for fairly major service work (timing belt, brakes). The operation seems like disarray but somehow they make it work flawlessly (dont be put off by first impression). They are very competitive price-wise and offer a free shuttle service to/from around the triangle. Ill keep returning for my Subaru service needs.

I wasnt a customer of Wasp, however I can attest to the owners desire to help others. A package meant for me was incorrectly sent to his home twice and not only did he send it back once, but he took the time to drive over to our home and leave it for us. Throughout the whole ordeal he was incredibly nice as well. Very rarely do I meet someone who is so willing to go out of their way to help. As a result, if I ever have car troubles, I will certainly patronize this business.

Got their details from google search. They had a great reviews & wasnt disappointed.Had an AC blowing warm air in 07 Civic. Firestone gave an estimate of $1550 with change of compressor, labor etc. Phil from Wasp auto diagnosed the issue as a problem with relay and fixed it for under $200 along with the freon top up as they noticed a very slow leak. Its blowing cool air now.Great Honest Service!Had to wait for nearly a week for the appointment, this was the only con. These guys are really knowledgeable and masters of their trade. Would service the car again with them & recommend others too.

Very honest people who will fix only what you need fixed, had an issue with my airbag light coming on. They told me it was related to the seat belt and that Honda warranties seat belts for life, and I should take it to the dealer to get it fixed for free. They easily could have just replaced it themselves and told me the cost and I would have paid.They also have very fair pricing and never seem to upcharge me for anything. If you spend any time inside the garage, you do walk out smelling like a mechanic, but that is a small price to pay for the service you get.

I have used Wasp exclusively for all major work on my cars over the past 14 years. I have always been amazed with the service, honesty and prices.Recently when I called to ask about some transmission problems they actually told me that Id be better off going to Jakes Transmission for a diagnosis. Wasp could swap the computer but that might not do it. This is in contrast to another Honda shop I talked with that told me a new computer for $300 would surely fix it.Jakes tested the computer and it was working perfectly. Wasps selfless service saved me $300.Update 2018. 2 cars later and Im still a loyal Wasp customer, though Ive switched to a Subaru.

These guys are the best - been taking our cars here for years.
