Johnathan James has probably the best customer service Ive ever had in a long time. He is kind, fun, and really cares. Car sales man have a stigma about them but Johnathan is nothing like that. I have been a customer at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet for over 4 years. I purchased my car from there. However, when I really needed them, they let me down. The red engine light came on and was worried because I needed to get my tags. I amalso a teacher and my funds are limited and school was back in session. I need my car. I spoke with Chris Sanford in service and he informed me that I would need over $4000 worth of work. I found that hard to believe because other than the red engine light, the car was running fine. I left Rick Hendrick Chevrolet and Chris frustrated. I took the car to Superior Chevrolet in Decatur and spoke with Richard Singleton, shop foreman. He was compassionate and he saved the day. My car only needed the throttle body cleaned. Richard took care of it and it was no where near $4000. I was so pleased. Superior Chevrolet has a customer for life. As a female, we arealways worried being taken advantage of when it comes to car repairs. Chris at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet had no compassion and I felt he took advantage of my situation because I was desperate to get my tags before my birthday in a couple of weeks. Honesty and integrity go along way. Superior Chevrolet and Richard demonstrated honesty and integrity. I am very pleased with their service and will definitely return.

Short simple explanation, Promises were not kept. I like the truck Im happy with the vehicle. But the experience overall I feel like I was taken advantage of especially on the pricing of my trade in and the cost of the new vehicle. The service a freind got was what lead me to this dealership. I did not get the same service my friend got. The truck was supposed to be dropped off and it wasnt. Typical car salesman jargon.

Excellent and fast experience indeed. I had a young man named Johnny answer a few questions on the phone regarding a trade in, and from there I ended up getting picked up, put my down payment down and got set up to leave in possibly the nicest car I’ve ever driven. We got the note to a number I liked, and due to it being so late at night we scheduled to finish the process in the morning. By then, I find out we’d be getting it even lower than that number so double the surprise there. Other staff members were great as well! A great step up since the auction vehicle id previously bought was a lemon. A low mileage luxury hybrid with a lower note and down payment than expected, what more could you ask for? And a speedy process too as even though this was over the course of two days, I think I spent more time getting to the dealership than inside! Big thanks to Jonny and the Rick Hendricks team in Duluth.
The oil change was quick and I appreciate that! The only complaint is that everytime i come for service, no one ever seems eager to greet or attend to a customer.When I pull into the bay and get out it is always so awkward waiting for someone to actually acknowledge I am standing there. All of the service people are engaged in conversation with other workers,on the phone, or simply look my way then look away! It literally happens this way every time I come for service! So I would say that the customer service aspect needs work!
Jonah is fantastic. I can not say the same thing for Ms. Pool the service manager. If this survey did not effect Jonah I would have given much worse numbers. As a customer that has purchased at least 4 vehicles in the last 10 years from you all, you should take my advice and get rid of her. Their is a good chance I will never do business with you all again because of her attitude and lack of basic human compassion and communication skills.

It was great. The young guy, Kris was awesome and very professional at all times even when I was getting upset. It wasnt his fault, but he kept coming back with more things to fix.
Mechanic did not fix the issue after first attempt after telling mechanic what was wrong. He never double checks to make sure issue was going to fix my problem before doing repairs that did not need to be done. And told me I had a body shop issue when I told them about I was hearing noise from my tire, was told they don’t do body shop work. Had to go to another shop for them to tell me it was my hub bearing which could have been fixed at this facility. Not sure who the mechanic was working on my car but they don’t seem too experienced. Took these other places the less than a day to tell me the issue and this place was just guessing. But they don’t understand they are costing their customers more money out of pocket. I had to pay for a rental for a week for a week for something they could have been done in less than one day if they diagnosed it correctly. And it was an inconvenience to even have to take my vehicle to a different place after being there for a week.
After test driving a vehicle during the week, we made an appointment for Sat to go and see the car to drive and possibly purchase. Throughout the week I had text communications with the sales representative and phone confirmation with the dealership that Sat morning. They had left a message the previous evening for me to call back and confirm. I did an hour before driving 40 min to the dealership, confirming I was coming and the car would be there. Upon arrival and waiting a spell, we were told the car had been shipped out of state. To add insult to injury, I was told it was my fault as I was given the opportunity to hold the car via a phone conversation with the sales rep. A phone conversation I never had. It was plain weird, aggressive stance from the sales manager, blaming me for the incident. It ruined our weekend and we would now never consider buying a car at Rick Hendrick Duluth, as Id be concerned about the process and risk with such a larger purchase.
Nick was awesome! Truly cared about my budget and what I was looking for. 10/10 would recommend. Maria Diaz greeted me when I came in and even though it wasn’t her job, she gave me a tour and showed me around to the Trucks I was interested in until a salesman was available. She was great! Nick and Maria a great 1-2 punch and the finance department was the icing on the cake! In and out in two hours!

I would encourage anyone considering this dealership to read the yelp reviews as well. I purchased a 2021 Tahoe here with 100 Miles on it. At delivery of the vehicle i was told they couldnt find the second key but would mail it to me over night, since i lived over an hour away. I never received a call or my key. I called and was told that since it was technically a used vehicle, not straight from the factory, I was not guaranteed the second key but they would look into it and call me back. No one ever called back. Before you post about calling Bruce Sinkoe, i already did that. He told me to call the used customer care manager, whom never returned my call after leaving multiple messages. I recommend finding another dealer, this one doesnt seem to care about return business. - In response to your comment below, why dont you have the used car manager contact me, they have my phone number on file and have yet to return a phone call or do anything proactive to resolve the issue.

Havent made a purchase here but when I tell you the parts department always gets us right. 🙌🏾 I dont even live close to this location (its not thhhhhhhaaat far but its not up the street Ill tell ya THAT!)I been in GA for a little while now and we been fixing on our car every time we call the local dealer they want 50 to 120 bucks MORE than what Ricks want. Ita CRAZY!! The local dealer told us a part we wanted that costs 90 would be 175..... (got it from Ricks for 100.) They then proceeded to tell us no one else in the state has it. We would have to go yo Alabama😒..... Ricks was an hour away..Either way ... Thanks Parts and Service!!! We appreciate yall!
Marie and Paul were great and really helped me with the situation. The main issue I had was I had to bring my car back a few times to finally get the issue resolved. Also I need my car to see patients during the week and after a week and a half of my car being there I was finally given a loner. I lost out on money for work. I was very upset about that. Again, Marie was great and communicated well.

Ask for Marie, Ask for Marie. Ask for Marie.I am not saying she is the only good service rep but she helped me. I had a lingering issue from a previous car accident. I took my car to Steve Raymond who could not diagnose the issue - although I have spent plenty of money there. I took it to Cadillac Escalade on recommendation from Steve Raymond who kept my car two weeks and still did not diagnose it. I took it to Anthem on Piedmont who refused to even attempt to diagnose because they said they did not want to go behind another mechanic….all the while I suffered. All the while, being treated as a nuisance….and I am sure with insurance being involved- did not help.I was referred to Marie and honestly, Rick Hendricks was my last hope as Progressive was still working with me but I am sure their patience was probably running thin.Not only did Marie answer all my annoying calls, worked with my insurance and gave me back my car in REAL pre- accident condition, she treated me with dignity and respect- even when I was frustrated since my car was there for 5 weeks.She helped me so much that even though the entire process with all the dealers was grueling and disheartening, she restored my trust in customer service. She is the real deal because every single dealer who had my car, I had to wait and beg for a return call and was told to just trade my car in…..so basically, their resolution was to hand the problem to someone else…ugggghh…but not Marie…..not Rick Hendricks. I bought this same car from Rick Hendricks which turned out to be a good car and I wished I brought it here from the jump after my accident.All I can say is ASK FOR MARIE!!!!!!!!

When spoke with Phil over the phone I told him I was interested in the equinox and the only specific request I had was that it not be white or red. A horrible place to spend your hard earned money. We gave them a $1000 deposit on Sunday to solidify picking up the car on Thursday. Me and my wife took off work to drive from Charleston to Duluth. A 5 hour drive. Only to find out that the salesman sold me a car that was already sold. Between Sunday and Thursday we had multiple conversations with John Morris and he never mentioned the car being sold. We even spoke to other people at the dealership. No mention of car not available. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!! They do not care about you as an individual or your time.

My appointment was to check tires for slow leaks etc, come to know that I had 3 nails in three separate tires, this took a while to fix but Mr. Petersen kept me informed on the status which I appreciate very much. If you either own a Corvette or are looking to purchase one, Chris Lindamood (Corvette Sales Manager) is a terrific person to work with at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet Atlanta. Honest, nice person who will do whatever he can to ensure your experience is excellent. He responds to phone calls and emails promptly and has an excellent in person manner. He helped me purchase a beautiful 2021 Corvette and has earned my business in the future. Frankly, dealerships are not peoples favorite places to go. Do yourself a favor and ask for Chris. It doesnt get any easier. This location sells and services lots of Corvettes and knows how to handle these vehicles better than anyone else in Atlanta.

I’ve purchased and had my vehicles serviced at many Chevrolet dealerships across the country. My interaction with the sales department at Rick Hendricks was a good experience. The issue that I have with the Rick Hendricks in Duluth is their Service Department. I have given the Service Department at this particular location numerous times to provide a favorable customer service experience in which they have fallen short each time. Today was the straw. After scheduling, confirming, and being sent reminders for my oil change appointment, it took 2 hours to complete the service. I expected to wait about an hour (allowing time for cars in front of mine and issues) although oil changes take about 15 to 30 minutes. It’s illogical to believe they schedule only 9 oil changes a day if each oil change is an hour. After an hour I went out to see what the status of my vehicle was and did not see me service advisor. I went back to the customer lounge and waited another 30 minutes to check the status of my vehicle. At this point I became concerned and went out to the service advisor’s desk. The service advisor returned to his desk about 15 minutes later and told me that my vehicle had not even been pulled into the shop. I asked to speak to a manager, but there was not one there. Instead the senior service advisor spoke to me and stated that she would get my vehicle into the shop. Bruce Sinkoe came over to speak to me as he has other times that I have come to the shop. He informed me that he was working to get my vehicle serviced as quickly as possible. Bruce returned after about 15 minutes with my vehicle. It took just over 2 hours to change my oil and that was only because I complained. This service department under Mary Poole is the worst that I have had any of my vehicles serviced at. What’s worse is Mary doesn’t seem to care about the poor service and performance of her service department. Don’t bother calling Rick Hendricks corporate as they act as if Mary answers to nobody under the Hendricks umbrella. I will never purchase another vehicle from Rick Hendricks as long as Mary Poole is in the Service Manager role. I don’t think I even want to get my oil changed at Rick Hendricks Duluth, which was part of my vehicle purchase.
They are one of the few dealers that have the inventory i was looking for. Staff is friendly and willing to work out a deal.

So, back in May, I came to Rick Hendricks to purchase a vehicle. I had planned to drive my old car until the wheels came off. Well, sometimes you NEED something new even when you don’t want it. Because of financial difficulties, my credit was not good at all. However, thanks to Keith Richardson and James Wright I was able to get a 2020 Honda Civic with a sunroof that I absolutely adore! I hadn’t even considered this particular car, but it was what I needed. Payments are reasonable, and that’s always a plus. Thanks guys!

I was finally ready to buy a Chevy Traverse and then I found out that there is a shortage due to the microchip shortage. Expecting to have to wait a few months to have a car built for me, I went to Rick Hendricks in Duluth to discuss how to make that happen. I drove up and out comes SalesmanMiguel Guerrero. I told him what I wanted and he said to come inside and wed talk about it. Turns out he had the exact Traverse I was looking for being delivered soon. So, with that being said I jumped at the opportunity and Im now awaiting my new car in the next week. Miguel was knowledgeable and so super nice. Wabee is the most patient salesperson. He took the time to understand my sons needs and explain to him the car buying process. it made me feel good as a mother that a salesperson invested the time. This place has the worse customer service I have ever seen or experienced. The service director and assistant service manager are crude, heartless, incompassionate. We paid close to $4,000 for work and diagnostic testing, just to have the check engine light to come back on a few days after the repairs were completed. And when were able to take the vehicle back within a couple of weeks, they still wanted to charge for additional codes that magically appeared. They refused to honor the warranty and expected us to pay more. Once again, they are awful!!! Buyer beware, the service is horrible!

Came in not expecting anything but to go home with nothing. I was wrong! Vanessa our sales agent was absolutely amazing in every way. She was extremely knowledgeable about the car I came to look at. I came in to look at the Chevy bolt. Patrick the sales/finance manager also greatly assisted in getting a deal done. Vanessa also presented the vehicle with a quality all around tour, showing all dynamics of the car. I was also very impressed with how professional she was with us. It was a pleasure to work with her and we would definitely recommend her to our friends and family or use her again in the future for any new purchases.
