I can honestly say I would never refer anyone to Larlin HomeCare Services. The VA had recommended Larlin for my husband who was suffering from Parkinsons disease. His caregiver got a little too comfortable with us. She would constantly arrive late and often leave before her scheduled 4 hours were up. On several occasions she would remark to me how crazy my husband was. I was well aware of his dementia with Parkinsons and didnt need to be reminded of it repeatedly. During Covid our caregiver was expected to wear a mask to keep my husband safe. Many times that request was not followed. Even our daughters dropped by and informed me that the caregiver was not wearing a mask. When I mentioned to the caregiver that she needed to be on time because I had appointments that I could not be late for, the very next day she called the office and said she had been exposed to Covid and needed to be off for 2 weeks quarantine. Needless to say I terminated all contact with Larlin and was told of a new agency I could work with who was wonderful and caring. Contacting the office was a joke. The person I spoke to at the office was Lynn. I had difficulty getting ahold of them when I had questions. Lynn gave me her personal cell number, and I was told to call that number to get a quick response. Funny thing it would take Lynn 3 or 4 days to call me back. If you care about your loved one please look elsewhere for home care!
Great company to work for. Everyone is very helpful & super nice. Love it here.
Caregivers never showed up or was very late. Communication between office and workers was lacking. Always confusion and worker never knew what their job expectations were.
This is a great company to work for. If you are dedicated and want to take on challenges there are plenty of opportunities.
