Mike is the man! hes a young man with an old school mentality. takes his time and doesnt let you leave until your haircut is exactly how you want it. very easy to book an appointment on line. very clean and comfortable barbershop. all 3 barbers are cool guys and very good at their craft.

I stumbled upon Mikes about 6 months ago while actually walking to another barber shop down the street. I decided to stop in and check it out. The straight-edge neck shave is a great finish to a consistently-great haircut. Today I finally had Mike shave the neckline of my beard and clean it up a bit and it looks great. Mike is also a very friendly guy and Ive enjoyed getting to know him over the last few months. Highly recommended!

I go about every 3 weeks. Always a great cut. Super chill barbershop. Hardly ever a wait. Mike, the owner is a good dude. Best of all, he doesn’t smoke cigarettes so no smelly hands through my hair....that was one of my biggest annoyances with barbers at other shops.

I had a great beard trim. I didnt know what I was looking for, only that my beard needed some tidying up. Barber provided a very thorough job and I thought it looked great! I will be coming back soon.

Ive never been more satisfied with any barber Ive had from Maryland to Virginia to Colorado to Illinois. After following Mike over the years as hes moved here and there, Im so glad hes got his own shop now. He somehow captures that old school barber shop essence and relaxed atmosphere without being a tryhard about it. I wont go to anyone else for a cut.

If you want the feel of an old fashioned barber shop then Mikes is it. Mike gives you a Great hair cut just how you want it, because he takes the time to listen to you. The hot lather shaves are the best. This is not your franchise get you in get you out barber shops.

I followed Mike when he moved from Kings Barber Shop in Wheaton and have never thought twice. Hes very talented and has been able to nail any style I ask him to cut. He even did my cut prior to my wedding. I highly recommend him!
