Needed a quick wash on a Saturday. I was able to get the the $20 wash. Fast and efficient. No long delays.

Don’t waste your time and money . They had to clean my truck twice and still got it wrong. this is and $80 wash and detail

The employees was very nice and helpful they shampooed my carpet in my truck it looks a lot better now without the coffee Stain cleaned my wheels really good which is hard to find people to do and just a over all really good job

Visited today (8/13).Got what I paid for, I guess... thought $25 was a good value but they literally finished my car in about 10 minutes, and it showed. I inadvertently left an empty takeout bag in the front seat and they didnt move it nor vacuum under/ around it. They didnt vacuum around the seats or in the back of my small SUV (not sure if this is included so Ill give them a pass.) Wont be going back.Edited to add they didnt clean the interior windshield, side mirrors.

I had to clean the inside again after paying for the full detail. Did not clean the seats as advertised. Made me wish I had paid a little extra and had my car done at a real car detailing service

I just left the place and I am so confused. No complaints for the outside but we waited an hour for the interior and it seems during that hour they only took care of the vehicle behind ours. The cupholder and the dash remained the same way. They just vacuumed the floor and when we checked under the mats, they were not removed to be vacuumed. I was so tired I didnt check until I drove off. This was my first and last visit. Unless I am just doing an exterior wash. It was not worth the money.

Please don’t patronize this business. Damaged my truck during a detail service and refused to own up to anything and also refused to pay for the damages. I lived in Douglasville 15+ years and I have never had an experience such as this .

Range Rover wheel was damaged, due to guide rails being to tight up against wheel. And customer service set there and said nothing.

Antwon was excellent. He identified a problem, jumped in and solved it. I watched at the window 100 percent of the time. I brought my car the bay and waited for 25-30 minutes before anyone touched it. It was not busy and people worked on cars that came in much later than mine. After he saw me waiting for so long, he took charge and stopped working on his car and started working on mine. I had been there 1 hour 15 minutes at that point. The female manger did not care how long I waited, an hour, a week, whatever. After he started working on it, she did. If you post a sign that says dont wear, crocks, the manager should not have on a purple pair of crocks. This was the first time I was here since it was Cactus Car Wash. The nice girl at the drive in offered me a membership. I said lets see how it goes. Well needless to say, I dont have an hour and a half every time I need my car detailed. Especially when its not busy at all. Antwon apologized and was very professional. The female manger only realized something was wrong at that point and said, sorry she was short handed. She did not direct one person while I was there and did not act like a manager. A manager jumps in and solved problems. If you doubt that this is 100 percent true, please check your own video.

Shiny Shell …. BOY am I pleased I have a one year old daughter. I’m sure you all know how that goes. Today was my first time coming here; it won’t be my last! As many times as I’ve ran my car through the washer it’s NEVER been THIS POLISHED and SHINY! They have truly earned their title! They removed stains out of my carpet that were HARD and cakey. Not only is there car service great, but customer service is EXCEPTIONAL!

So I went on a road trip all I needed was my windows cleaned and sons car seat vacuumed. To say the least I will not be returning they were done in 5-10 min & literally dont feel they did anything still had bird droppings on glass and bugs on outside car & my sons seat not vacuumed -_-

Doesnt get the passenger side of your vehicle very clean and the inside of the building is basically useless now that it went from the cactus to the shiny shell! Im only giving three stars because of the employees the are extremely nice!

I took my car to get detailed after having a minor fender bender earlier that morning. When I got my car back, it looked better than when I first bought it. They took their time and cleaned every inch from the inside out. You couldn’t even tell I had marks on my car from the accident. I will definitely return.

I have used this place a number of times. It’s always a long wait, but I had been pleased with the results until yesterday. So, at the automated pay area- someone is there now to charge you for a higher price that’s not listed on the menu. Next, after the car goes through the wash, is the interior cleaning and vacuuming- or lack of. Only one side of the car had the tire shine on the two tires. The inside had not been wiped down at all- nor where the inside of the windows cleaned. They did not wipe down the dashboard nor steering wheel... nor the door or gear shift all they did was vacuum for $35... and put tire shine on two wheels. Wait... there’s more... so to top everything off- under the passenger side seat cover, (which both seat covers- drivers and passengers were off the seat partially .. I have no idea why) ... was 2 damp drying towels under the portable seat cushion... thankfully... as of now, I don’t see a stain... needless to say.... I will not be back... but giving that type of service... they will not be in business long

I had the pleasure of using my unlimited membership today, and meeting a guy named shello or chello. It was the best experience ever. He took pride in getting my car clean before I went through the car wash. He took pride in his job and effort. Money well spent. Loved his effort thank you

Outside is ok but inside is still dirty. Just a single wipe on the dashboard.....Disappointed because this place used to be good. :/ not a $25 car wash.

When I tell you I had an amazing experience at this establishment! I was a little skeptical at first, but manager Josh put me right at ease by turning my vehicle over to the capable hands of Anthony and Zeke. Paid $30 for a wash and my car still had dirt and bugs on the front bumper, syrup on the backseat, and pollen all over the interior. It was clear that the interior and exterior were not wiped down.I called about 10 minutes after receiving the service and no one answered the phone. I was going to leave a message only to find out that the voicemail box was full.Employees harass you for a tip on half done cars every time.

Not worth $35 at all, you’re better off cleaning your car yourself.

Unlike most car wash facilities, Shiney Shell car wash really does make your car shine. Not just the car but tires too. The service was great as well. Ill definitely come back.

My wife and I recently had both of our vehicles washed and vacuumed. This car wash by far is the worst in Douglasville! Not only was the staff unprofessional, but after my wife had money stolen out of her vehicle management wasn’t willing to accept responsibility the incident. After explaining to one of the manager’s what happened he made us feel as if we were not being truthful. This employee is still currently employed with them and I’m sure she will continue to steal as long as she’s working there.

The $20 car wash got my 4Runner insanely clean. Like, really really clean. I got the $20 wash at Mister Clean today and it doesn’t compare at all.

Before getting service I advised one of the employees It was my first visit but prior to the name change from cactus to shiny shell my experience was poor and not Worth the money spent he didn’t comment basically looked like why is that his problem none the less I purchased a ultra platinum 35.00 I think that’s the name and long story short to say I won’t be back I don’t like paying for a service just to pay somebody because it’s their source of income I have the worst looking rear window none of the fingerprints etc was removed there’s a glare like oil was on the rag used to clean the vacuuming was HORRIBLE I told the cleaners before hand hey it’s a mess I have toddlers And that i would tip him and her. Before pulling off I inspected the vehicle and contemplated on the tip I couldn’t even pull myself to tip five dollars that’s how bad the cleaning was.........In reply Thanks for the response but i wont be back Thank you

I have always wondered WHY this place was always PACKED! The young men that detailed my car were so professional and polite. They really made me feel so welcome. Luckily I came on Monday at 10am, so it wasnt that busy. I tipped them both $5 and I let the manager know as well. The young men were, Mike & Chandler! Ms. Joanne also helped me navigate the pricing. I highly recommend this please, just make sure you get there EARLY!!

Was my first visit here today and unfortunately it was disappointing. I payed up for service ($30) in hopes that my vehicle would be much cleaner than what I can do myself at the 3 minute car wash down the street. That was not the case. I looked out to check on the status and they hadn’t gotten to it yet. That’s fine. I’m patient. About 10 minutes later they came in and said it was finished and pulled to the side. I tip the gentleman and proceeded to my vehicle when I noticed the rear bumper wasn’t touched. I pointed it out and he wiped it down immediately. I then seen something sticky on the side of truck and began wiping it myself and he took his cloth and it came right off. I said thanks and left the area. Pulled next door in a parking lot because I noticed how bad of a job they done cleaning the windshield. I had window cleaner in the truck so I began to clean it more thoroughly while the sun was coming through. As I walked around the truck, the wheels had brake dust on them from what the car wash machine couldn’t get. I know they noticed it because they shined the tires up but yet failed to wipe them down. I made it home and the more I re-cleaned the inside and out the more I became disappointed. Not mad but just let down. I write this review (I normally never do unless it’s positive) in hopes that it will better the business practices at this location. Training is key and if you don’t know your weaknesses, you can’t get stronger. After spending 45 minutes on my vehicle, I’m now satisfied with the results (bummed arm and all) but I can say with confidence, I will not be a repeat customer. Best regards.

Not like it was when it was cactus. Bad quality and now you have to drive your car through the wash...which shutdown when i was halfway through it. No cash back offered so uou can tip without having to use atm and paying 3 bucks. Shiuldnt have tipped the finishers anyway for all the spots left on windows. Ill try dirty dog for next wash or get mobile detailing.

Carwash malfunctioned. After leaving, I noticed the trim missing on the right rear door. No answer when I called back.

SCAM ALERT!Previously, I came here all the time. Now there is a person at the automated entry charging more than the posted prices (on the newly installed sign). I paid it even though it was much higher than past visits and posted prices. Then the full service vacuum employee informed me that vacuuming and cleaning the trunk was extra $$. Seriously?! Why dont they tell you that the included full service only covers half of the car? I have an SUV and the back seat is always down for my dog. So for the full service price you get the front cleaned but not the back? Doesnt sound like a full service to me. He did a thorough job but we were now up to almost twice the price of previous visits.When I first arrived, They convinced me to sign up for the membership. I came all the time before, it made sense. When I came for my next wash, I pulled into the members line and the guy said I didnt have a membership. And I would have to pay the full price again! What?! So I left without a wash. I then pulled over logged into their website and canceled my membership on their website.Be aware! There are a lot of scams going on here. Super shaddy, over priced, and poor service. Also, when I was getting my car full service cleaned... I watched 4 people come back to complain about damage to their car or poor quality of cleaning. 4 people in under an hour kinda seems like a lot of complaints to me. Unfortunately, heres 1 more. I wanted to keep coming here but I will never come back again. There are plenty of other businesses to support in the area instead.

Place has gone downhill. You pay $30 for a full service and the interior of your car is barely wiped down. Here’s some advice. Pay the $16 and vacuum your car yourself. It’ll be well worth it. Probably not coming back again.

Paid for the express super clean ( went into the detail shop ) and wasn’t not very happy at all center stack and dash was still dirty and dusty cup holder were still dirty seems like the mostly slapped these greasy shine all over the place on the interiorHonestly used to love this place but seems like they don’t care about quality anymore.

Ive been here quite a few times, and each time they do a very good job. Only thing is they take a long time to finish. So if you decide to wait there until they finish, get comfortable, or drop off and come back later.

I’m not sure what I paid $35 for. Car was glistening right after they were done so initially I was happy but once I got into my car and began looking around Long after I had left I noticed all the spots that were not wiped down and cleaned. I will not ever return nor would I recommend anyone to visit this establishment!

I use to go to this place weekly but now that theyre turning it into a self serve I dont plan on coming back. The prices have increased and the service has decreased. It takes forever to go through the wash even on a slow day. It was much better when Cactus had it

They do a great job on my vehicles. Both inside and out looks great, and if you go first thing in the morning when they open you can get in and out in pretty good time, later in the day there is much longer wait times.

We used to take our car here before it became Shiny Shell, so we decided to try them out. The prices are the same, but the quality is lacking. Customers now have to ride through the wash and park their own cars. There is no longer a cafe or complementary water. However, the worst part is the quality of work. The windshield is so streaked that we are having trouble seeing out when the sun shines on it. Also, the interior is not completely clean. With Cactus, we waited a long time for a terrific job. With Shiny Shell, our car was ready in half the time, and we know why. We will not be coming back.

This was my first time since they changed name and am not going back i paid 30 dollars for full service and they never wipe the dashboard nor did they vacuum the trunk ! Nowadays days you have to drive your car through the carwash. I had to get out to call somebody to come direct me through because nobody was there after I paid !! No wonder the place is not as busy as it used to be !! You need to hire mature adults who have respect to customers !!

I drive a Mercedes c63 edition one . After asking if my factory wheels would be ok. All four wheels scratched so bad I dont even want to drive it ! Gave them a estimate still have not heard back ! Would never go back !!!!!!!!!

I went to this car wash today 5/29/21. And got the Ultimate car wash. They did a Horrible job cleaning the interior of my SUV. I had to make them clean the back. The guy said it was extra to vacuum the back of a SUV. They did so bad I went to another car wash and clean it myself. I will never go back.

Paid $24.95 for the deluxe wash package and my car is half washed. Inside was half cleaned as well. Doesn’t look like they cleaned the inside of the windshield at all. I’m really upset that I wasted my money. Ohhhh and to top it off, the bottom of my car is scratched up. My car is fairly new, haven’t even had it long enough to make the first payment. Definitely will not be going back to this place.

My husband got the monthly car wash plan. His car is low to the ground (ZL1) so he decided to no longer continue in fear that his car would be damaged. The amount for the next month came out two days ago, he has not been since those two days and attempted to cancel or switch it to my car (Traverse) We were advised that we couldn’t cancel because we would have to have done that a week prior. We were told it could not be switched to my car because he previously came through the car wash, the month before. This is horrible customer service. If you get your car washed here, I wouldn’t recommend purchasing the monthly.

I should’ve trusted the other reviews. I went with the deluxe wash, includes the full service with some rainx and tire shine. So my car went through the machine wash, which we all know, wash about 30-60% of your exterior. Then it went to the front where they supposed to hand dry the car and do the rest of the cleaning. So I just chill on my phone and waited about 30-40 minutes.I paid $25 for the service and $5 tip. When I left the parking lot, i saw water running on the side of the windows, I was like “F***”. There were water marks by the time I got home.I decided to check the rest of the car. The back of the car was basically not washed. See pictures. The front was basically not washed in some places the machine cannot get to. The door and consoles were still left with dust and not cleaned. The rims weren’t cleaned. But at least they landed 1 star for a decent job on the floor vacuum.Basically, I could’ve just went to the $5 machine wash and spend 15 minutes to vacuum the car myself instead of the $25 carwash plus tip.I recommend trying your luck somewhere else.

Im rating them a 4 star but this is hard work. I didnt get a detail but the girl lady that greeted me was so well mannered and bubbly standing out in the sun where the workers were dog tired and grumpy.

My son vehicle is so dirty that I didnt think they would get it clean. The guy that get the vehicle ready to go in, gave it a got scrub and when she went through the car wash came out almost the way like new. Good job.

When I got in my car I instantly saw all the thing I brought it there for, undone. I will not return. I’ve tried three times hoping the level of service was just off on the day I went. They steal and deny don’t waste your money or time with this place. The often hire recovering addicts to save on payroll so became with small pocket items in your car.

The attendant was extremely rude to me and yelled at me because I accidentally pulled into the full service area because their signs are extremely confusing. Will not return. Drive a mile down the road to mister car wash. They were much nicer and more professional.

Decided to give this place a try. Always took my wife’s and my car to this place when it was Catus. The Quality of work at this particular location was EXTREMELY POOR!! hi The employees customer service skills even worse. Had to speak with Management in order to receive proper service, and in that regard he was very receptive and helpful. He had my vehicle re-washed.I definitely will not be going back to that location.

Best $30 Ive spent in a while!

Had only 5 people working and cars were backed up all the way around to car wash(12). No one seemed to be on charge. It took 45 minutes to get my car done. No one was inside for food or drinks. It cost more and provides less. Will not be back.

Inside could have been cleaned out better. It looked rushed. More than likely will not be back. I dont like to waste money especially during this pandemic.

I called to notified them of a half done hand wash that cost me 45$. They said they would take a message and I actually had to ask them if their manager would call me back and then they decided to take my number down too. I expressed that I was very busy and didnt have time to come back or wait around for them to call me. So of course I missed the call back that happened 4 hours later. So unfortunate, because I went a month ago and everything was perfect.

The customer service is superb.My car had spots after a single run through and they allowed a second run through free of charge.My only complaint is the sign doesnt show all the options. I payed for The Ultimate but came to find out there was add-ons and higher purchases that could have been made.

Ive used it several tomes and thry did a great job, to include adding air freshner inside the car. They detail even when youre THINKING youre getting a regular cleaning. Will use each time I need a BETTER cleaning.

This is a good car wash with fast service. When your car is ready, they make you move it so fast that you dont get to do a good walk around to check it because you are being rushed. But overall it is a good car wash for the price.

I was visiting from out of town, and I found this carwash. They did an EXCELLENT job. I live in Montgomery, and we do not have anywhere to go that comes even close to this business. I come to this area a few times a year, and I will DEFINITELY be using them again.

No menu for detail services. I found nothing on the website and it is either unavailable at the location, or they didnt want to show me. I drove up and they asked what I want. I asked them for an interior detail and seat shampoo. They said $60 which seemed cheap but they assured me it was a full detail and seat cleaning. They cleaned the seats very well but left a mess in the back of the suv. It didnt look like they vacuumed it. The dash was wiped down but no cleaning to door handles, arm rests, interior side of doors or cup holders. They could have gotten another $60-80 out of me for a proper interior detail but they did not give me a chance.Exterior wash was good except tire rims and windows were still dirty.Not likely to come back since the quality of service has dropped so much from when they changed companies.

I actually worked here but I can honestly say oh, this is a good car wash. They are honest and upfront with their pricing, they truly do try to get you in and out as fast as possible. They have long time workers who really know what they are doing and the supervisors are truly amazing. I never met the owner but he always seemed very nice and polite when he would walk up and his daughter works there which I think is amazing but hes making her work her way up in the business. That shows character not only on her part but his part! I give this car wash 5 stars

Question? What does the ULTIMATE $40.95 wash contain? I only received a floor vacuum. What happened to wipe down interior? Console,seats? Now I will have to FINISH at home..smh

This is the best car wash I have been too, it is definitely the 1st car wash I have been to where they do everything. I went there expecting to have to wash my car and vacuum it myself but they did it all. My car was wonderfully cleaned with a lot of the dog hair removed from the inside as well. It was super nice, I plan on coming back to get my car cleaned more often.

I spent $40 for an outside only hand wash which was terrible. The windows and alloy rims cleaning was also terrible based on the amount I spent for the service.

I wasnt really impress with this location. I spent 109.00 because I specifically asked if they shampoo the carpet on the inside of my truck. I couldnt even tell if the carpet was shampoo or not it was completely dry, not to mention the inside of my truck wasnt even touched. I had to point oot specific items that were missed, the dashboard, door panels, etc. I still had a huge spot on the door that was missed. It was not worth the money. They even left wax residue all around my truck! Will not come back!!!

I visited Shiny Shell on today July 21, 2020. I paid for the highest wash on the board. After my car was done I pointed out some areas on the car that was not even touched the lead asked the guy to clean it and he told her No. They passed words back and forth until he walked off. I used to go there when it was cactus and never had a problem. This place is so unprofessional and I will never go there again.

They dont appreciate the senior citizens or veterans. They used to discounts. I will be finding a new car wash.

My windows are all streaking the ashtray wasnt emptyed. The rims werent wiped off they didnt wipe the inside of the back window. I could have gone to a $10 car wash and done those things by myself and a lot better job

Customer service is pretty terrible. Machine breaks down super quick. I was stuck in here for 27mins. And still had to pay for my car wash. LOL no worries. Ill continue to go to camp Creek for my car wash. #bringcactusback-update as of 10/11/2020Ive emailed management as requested.
