First appointment I was supposed to get a tooth pulled. The dentist told me that he didnt have time. 4 months later, came back to get the tooth pulled. Got numbed before tooth cleaning. Sat in the chair for about an hour and 1/2, mouth begins to wake up. They shot me one more time, sat there another hour. My mouth begins waking again, dentist tells me it must be infected, Ill have to come back. Not to mention that he us absolutely the rudest. Some of the staff is rude as well. I would not send my worst enemy to this place.

My son has autism and we have been going to Gentle Dental for over 25yrs. Dr Z is awesome and the staff is phenomenal. We have watched people work for years and even retire. I re never has a bad experience there ever...

The gentle Dental office is professionally organized by a dentist named, Dr. Ziyadeh. First of all the receptionist always send a friendly courtesy reminder text message to my telephone that keeps my six month cleaning appointment date and time schedule. Secondly, the mouth mirror, explorers, periodontal probe, cotton forceps, Ultrasonic Scaler, extracting forceps, Dental Elevator, and the air water syringe are sterilized. They go through a cycle in an ultrasonic cleaner filled with disinfecting solution. This machine acts almost like a “dishwasher” to remove any debris. Then the instruments are thoroughly rinsed and put into an autoclave that uses high heat, steam, and pressure to sterilize them. Thirdly, this practice is honest and accurate. I have never been billed with an extra buck. Personally, this gentle dental team is gentle all around in every examination room. The x-ray team is friendly and caring while covering me up with the lead vest across my shoulders to protect my internal organs from the radiation exposure, which is greatly appreciated. Over all, my periodontal cleaning was precise yet gentle on my gums and teeth while cleaning with the explorer tool on my teeth and around my gums. Also, my eight year old daughter co- signs this review because she agrees that Gentle Dental is now her dentist office!

The staff is wonderful.BUT the dentures could be better the material used is bad.looks as if they were made in a hurry and the tech. Does what he wants and not what you feel.Dr.Z is very rude the dentures that were made has my mouth very very sore he refused to work with me.I really embarrassed myself dealing with him and I am sorry for my actions.He will make the demon come out.the front desk people thought it was funny he is paid and I am yet in need of Dentures

So I had an appointment today for an extraction and let me say it was my first time having an extraction. Not only was Dr.Z very informative about the procedure but he knew I was super scared and nervous. He talked me through everything! Cortez was so compassionate and he made me feel safe and kept reminding me of my breathing method to help me relax more. Shane was super sweet as well. He reassured me that the procedure would be fast that I was in great hands! Before I knew it that wisdom tooth was out within seconds. Not to mention Dr.Z did some fillings to kill 2 birds with one stone!! Gentle Dental is the best!! Thanks so much guys!! ❤

The head dentist is kind of rude and the assistant who works in the back with the dreads doesnt know what he is doing. I set up an appointment a whole month in advance to get extractions and fillings and the day I come in the assistant told the doc that I didnt want the extractions anymore, which was the MAIN reason I came in. I called off work specifically because I knew I was going to be in pain!!! I talked to the doctor about it and he didn’t seem to have a care in the world! Save your time and do not come to this location. The one in St. Clair shores is MUCH better !

Horrible Customers Service! Ive been waiting way too long to get seen. My appointment was for 10a.m and I got here early. Its 12:04p.m and Im still waiting to be seen. This place is very unorganized and I would not recommend them to anybody. This is not my 1st bad experience but I thought it cant be bad again so I tried to give them another try.

I first went to this place during the pandemic shut down and they took care of me when my dentist wouldn’t. Since then I’ve had some major dental work done (5 visits). I’m from the suburbs and drive over an hour to Dr. Z and his staff because they listen and take care of you.

The best dentist I have been to thus far. All of the staff were extremely nice. When I came in for my appointment I was seen very promptly. I came in for an initial exam and a wisdom tooth removal. I had my ex-Rays taken and my teeth cleaned. The doctor explained to me that I needed to see an oral surgeon for one of my extractions and even suggested a place I can go to. Everyone was exceptional in providing me with great service and care!

Honestly my best Dental experience, they got me in quickly because I was in pain. I had 2 extractions and was out in less than 2 hours.The entire staff was understanding and very nice.They seemed focused on me with awesome verbal communication and focus, Professional attitude and no messing around here! The x-ray tech was amazing and coached me through the entire process. I have severe anxiety about the dentist and have since I was child. The hygienist or assistant was absolutely horrible and rude. Just got put on hold for 35 mins to schedule an apt...

I came here and got a tooth extracted. Unfortunately something went horribly wrong the hole wouldnt close and every time i tried to rinse my mouth out the salt water would go up the hole and come straight outta my nose which was painful cause I could feel it go through my face. I called them on day 5 cause I had gotten paranoid. They quickly let me be a walk in. Unfortunately I had to go through the procedure of the dreaded needle pokes and YES i cried like a baby but he was trying to help me. He explained my situation and i understood... Hopefully things will turn out right..

Went to my appointment when I arrived the receptionist told me my appointment was cancelled because they didnt get a confirmation. I told her I responded by text as they sent to me to confirm the appointment. She lied saying she called me when there wasnt any calls until a half hour before my appointment. I was driving when she called. I dont answer calls while driving. This was the third time I had to go through this, I wont be back.

I cant praise the team at Gentle Dental high enough. I hadnt been to the dentist in years, partially due to anxiety of dentistry from past experiences, but they were understanding and informative. Cortez, Gwin, and Doctor Z were incredibly friendly and between their reassurances, and their fun and relaxed manner, I was able to get through the experience with very manageable levels of anxiety. Not even to mention how incredibly fast they managed to extract my tooth, as in I didnt even know it was gone yet, and they were onto the follow up instructions. I will be back for the rest of my dental needs and highly suggest trying them out if youre looking for a dentist.

I went to this dentist place on 4/25/20 to get one tooth extracted; but they ended up doing two teeth for me that day. Im so thankful and blessed because I dont have insurance, so I thought I would be turned away. NOOOO! They helped me without a problem AND FOR CHEAP. They work with me especially since I was crying due to pain that was making my brain scream for help. They didnt get irritated or wasnt rushing me.... the doctor, his assistant and the x-ray lady was so nice. God bless all of you! I came in for my 6 month cleaning today as usual. Dr. Ziyadeh runs a very professional office and is very knowledgeable and trustworthy when it comes to all procedures. He won’t give you the run around, he will tell you how it is and what he thinks is best for you. He treats all patients and staff like family. All procedures are done pain free and the office is always clean and tidy. The cleanings done here are very thorough and always leave my teeth feeling like new again! I was visiting from out of town and the filling in my wisdom tooth fell out, I had to get in to see a dentist as soon as possible, called all around and no one could get me in until I called Gentle Dental, they scheduled me for the very next morning. I ended up having an extraction, the whole experience was pain free, the staff was fantastic, very kind and accommodating. Great place staff are more like family with each other and as well customers. As well as many different rules to protect your privacy. The wait is a long but, it is a medical field that has great work with comes a wait if you you want it done right. As well as they dont give you the run around they deal with you as a person first and pay check somewhere else down the line.

I was very skeptical about going to a dental clinic.. but this place was great. It was clean the staff were friendly, the technician​ who took x-rays was the best she made me comfortable and at ease. The dentist well she is a miracle worker! I went in for pricing and a second opinion on a root canal I was quoted$1400 earlier in week elsewhere. Not only where they over $1000 cheaper but, I didnt even need a root canal!!! It was a deep cavity but only needed a filling. She even did some work on my front teeth!!! They looked amazing! I couldnt believe it, it looked like I got veneers... You can tell she enjoys her job. Will definitely recommend!!!!

I was a new patient to this dental office today, staff was fine especially the young ladies that took care of me in the chair. After being there 2 hours I finally asked when I might be seen. After another half hour the dentist finally comes in and wanted to know why I hadnt signed a consent for a procedure and I explained to him that no one should sign a blank paper especially since I was there to have my partials replaced not surgery. He told me that my signature was only showing that I had read it and understood it and without my signature he couldnt see me. So I wrote on the form that I had read it and I signed it, and he then refused to see me. He was very argumentative and refused to understand this situation. A huge waste of time for me all the way around. Perfect example of folk coming to our city to make $$ but wont treat us with respect! Zero star for this dentist, back to Farmington!

I takr back what i said on my last post. I want to say i really am liking the ajustments being done on my dentures they are slowly getting corrected. A few more adjustments and i will be good. Dr Ziyadeh and his team are the absolute best! They are extremely kind and professional! Dr. Z is extremely thorough when speaking to me about my treatment and answers all my questions. I go through absolutely NO PAIN when I go get work done. Cortez is extremely funny and nice! He got through with my x rays very quick and kept me entertained the entire time! All the ladies were extremely friendly and they make me feel like I’m family every time I come in. They ask about any concerns before even going in and starting their work! I totally recommend him to anyone. He will go above and beyond to make sure your mouth is completely healthy And that you are educated properly on your oral hygiene!

Ive been taking my kids to this dentist since their very first dental visits. Theyre usually out in an hr and a half tops! The staff are normally pleasant. The kids love it and they make them feel secure enough to be in the back without me. Theyve pulled my tooth. The kids teeth that were loose and gave them fillings. I have no complaints. The dr educates and answers our questions too.

Dr. Ziyadeh, and his team was great. Sherry, Gwen, Cortez and Misha. So let me start by saying I was in excruciating pain. I was able to speak with Misha and get a next day appointment. The office was open at 7:30am and ready to start seeing patients(amazing), I like early appointments. Gwen took me right in to the exam room, started on my xrays. From there Sherry came to evaluate each tooth, from there Dr. Z came and discussed all findings throughly. Next on to cleaning and extraction Great job! Great job Team Gratiot on providing excellent customer service and care.

I had a dental emergency this morning and no one answered. I had to call over 12 times. Horrible service, i would not recommend just off the fact no one answered the phone and Ive been calling for nearly an hour. When i finally got an answer i asked did they do emergency walkins and was put on hold for over 5 minutes. 👎👎 now i have to go to a hospital just to be taken care of. If i could give 0 stars or negative ratings i would.

Great place to go if you have 4 hours to waste on an exam and cleaning. My appt. was at 8:30 am. I was called to the back at 9:49 am, my exam started at 10:34 am. I was done with my cleaning at 11:17 am but sat in the chair waiting on the Doctor until 12:27 pm. The doctor was polite and the dental hygienist was awesome. I believe they just overbooked patients. I will not be returning.

They give you an appointment and you still have to wait 2 hours to be seen! The office is dingy and smells like an old folks home. Only one competent employee and she aint the dentist! If you have other options, please use them.

Unprofessional! I did a working interview and when it was time to file the paper work and get the check I had to jump through hoops. No one wanted to explain the paperwork. The front desk staff were rude and refused to let me speak with the doctor and refused to give me the number to corporate. They expected me to just sign some paperwork without asking questions. I’d keep my eye on them if you consider being employed with this location.

I went last week to get my teeth clean and some X-rays done, and the doctor told me everything that I needed to be done, let me not forget how good the staff is, they patient and they know how too talk to a person when the nervous . My daughter is a patient here and this place is horrible at time management. Our appt was at 9am my daughter didnt get done till well after 11am.. were taking about a 5yr old with excellent teeth. It shouldve taken 30mins at the most. The staff is nice and friendly but sitting at a dentist office for 2 1/2 hours is no fun and unacceptable
