Really nice, friendly, and patient agent working the Gold desk. Wish I had gotten his name. Seemed like he had a European accent and he was telling me about his crazy drive to Chicago which briefly took him through Indiana. He was awesome and now I know why I should book with Hertz directly instead of Priceline. Thank you!
Great location. Good attitude and JOEY is the best bus driver in the state. Helped me w 8 tons of luggage and was so nice & friendly. We NEED more JOEY’s.People. Be like JOEY.
I really from this hurts I had no problems until I went to extend or no. I actually wanted to return it at a different location I rented it from Detroit Michigan and wanted to return in Chicago they told me. I couldn’t do that I had to return it to the location I got it from a Detroit airport I have never heard of that that’s why people rent cars. Anyway that was my experience with that hurts. Can’t return it in a different location who’s ever heard of something like that.
I understand we are trying to restart the economy right now me being a small business owner I totally understand what businesses are going through but, to have only one scheduled employee and 17 people in line at a car rental place its terrible. If you cant find help youre going to have to pay people more money thats what I do. the lady that was working did an amazing job unfortunately the company needs help youre going to have to pay people to work are you going to lose business going forward not just mine
Long line to get the car, waited an hour. Very tedious process. When returning, there was no clear indicator of what to do. Please make a clear sign that says the few things you need. A couple questions we had... do you want the keys left in the car or brought to someone? Do you need to scan our receipt/pamphlet that you scan when we pulled out of the lot? One sign said try e-return today which seemed nice but is worded more like an option rather than a demand. Along with that, no employees outside to guide and trash bins were overflowed. Disorganized.
We reserved and paid ahead for an SUV because we have 5 people and a service dog.We were given a tiny little Checy Trax. What a garbage car. We had to take 2 cars everywhere it was so tiny. The Back seat was smaller than a regular passenger car! When we brought to their attention they didnt do anything to compensate us. We wont rent here again.
We got through the line inside at a moderate speed. We were handed our rental agreement and told that Michael will call out your name with your vehicle . We currently have been waiting outside for 30+ min with 30+ other people, waiting for vehicles. One vehicle has been given out... a man said who has a compact car, someone volunteered to take it and he was off. 🤦♀️🤷♀️
World class experience! Thanks to the amazing Manager Terrence Johnson, he turned a horrible experience into an amazing one.. going above and beyond to provide an exceptional car when there were none available.. thank you for making my bad experience to an amazing one! I hope all Hertz locations have outstanding managers and employees like Miss Cheryl James (tsvr) who assisted and made sure that I was taken care of they listened to their clients needs and went above and beyond.. I will certainly continue to rent with Hertz especially because of Mr. Johnson and Miss James!
Quick pick-up and return process. But its been ten days since my return and I havent received the receipt. No response from the location after email inquiry. Theres no number I can reach the location directly.
As a Gold member, I am in and out quickly when picking up and dropping off cars. The quality of vehicles is standard with cars in good visual and working condition.
Hertz donut? Its all good. Great cars and there all brand new cause Hertz had to sell their inventory to stay alive!! My Sonata had 2000 miles on it. All good.
Greatest staff. Loved our bus driver and the counter agents. Everyone was professional and very personable.
Dana (or Donna) is absolutely the rudest customer service representative I have ever met. She was point blank unhelpful. Dana had a attitude, had zero compassion and was down right disrespectful. She would off handily talk about how “people got stimulus help and they are traveling even if they can’t afford it”. She treats customers like they are not worth her time or effort. Fix this. Be better!
I wish I could give it a no star! Please be careful renting from them or booking online. I don’t have a credit card and reserved a SUV for our family trip. Hertz took the money out of my card at the same day of reservation. We went to pick up rental car and because I don’t have a credit card and only a debit card they wouldn’t give us the rental car. They wouldn’t refund my money still waiting for a call back and myself and 3 kids were stuck with no vehicle. My father in law was willing to give me his credit card for them to put on file but they wouldn’t even take that even with his approval. Nothing like being stuck in another state with 3 kids after a 4 hour flight. At this point I want my money back and they haven’t given it to me!! Don’t rent from Hertz it’s a joke!
I recently rented a vehicle from this location and would like to just say thanks for always providing a great experience from check out to check in.
My mother went here to rent a car and Monique had the most disgusting attitude! She rushed us and did not seem to help us at all. We left and returned and she stared at us and asked “what’s the problem?” My mother stated “we were helped already, thank you”The only good outcome was Jessica! She was an absolute sweetheart and made our experience better. Monique on the other hand needs better customer service skills ASAP!
Absolutely horrible experience, Arrived Sunday afternoon to pick up my car, normally Sundays are the busiest in the airports, there was just one person. The car they had was just one car with 49k miles on it. Went back to change the car, Lady was super rude and making excuses of covid time for old rental cars they have. There is a reason you went bankrupt. Who cares about customer, let’s just rent out whatever left on the lot.
Seriously, the best, most consistently friendly Hertz location I’ve encountered. I love going to Detroit for this reason. Every time I rent a car from Detroit I am not disappointed because everyone, from the shuttle drivers to the counter staff are really nice. Keep doing what you do! And thank you.
Highly disappointed.. I have been a Hertz gold member for over 10 years (President Circle)...I can’t believe how after all this time and all this money spent as a loyal member, I wouldn’t receive reasonable accommodations form Hertz...I have a member number & CDP number...How can you charge me over $300 a day for a standard vehicle, Charge me $100 for gas and I filled the tank upon return, over $1,100 for a 3 day rental?????? I will never rent from Hertz, Dollar rental car, Thrifty car rental or Firefly car rental... NOTE: I spoke with four different people including a manager, and sent an email, Hertz doesn’t care..
After traveling 18 hours by plane, I waited 30 minutes for the shuttle and then another hour+ at the rental counter. Driving off the lot, I noticed a warning light indicating low tire pressure. I did not feel safe driving the car with my kids inside. I called roadside assistance and was told put on the spare tire myself or just drive it as-is. They also suggested that I could go to Bell Tire and pay out of pocket for the repair and that Hertz would probably reimburse me. I ended up hand pumping the tire every day for five days before arranging an exchange. This required a three-hour roundtrip to the airport. I asked for a discount or at least a drop at a more convenient location and was told it was not possible. I have been a gold member since 1990. I do not recognize this company that at one time was really the gold standard of the rental car industry.
Courteous, efficient and helpful! The folks at the counter were VERY BUSY when I arrived as an overloaded shuttle dropped off quite a lot of us! I forgot my confirmation number and had a number of questions but in spite of all of that I was treated with the greatest kindness and respect. The young lady behind the counter the morning of June 5th 2021 did an AMAZING job!! The car was clean and in excellent condition and the gentleman checking us through the exit was also friendly and efficient! Return was an absolute BREEZE! The DTW team is doing a great job and I wouldnt hesitate to rent a car from this location again!!
They said if I didnt like my experience here at Hertz, I could go to National across the streetBasically no offer to help me with my rental situation. I had already paid for the car. I had to pay an additional deposit. They ran my card without telling me how much the deposit was. When I asked they acted like I was accusing them of something. So that triggered a suspicious charge with my credit card company. In short... It was a mess. I was there to bury my father who passed away and I was now stranded in Detroit. Never again will I rent from hertz.
They are running a scam be aware. They will charge you for insurance you dont want and say that you can easily remove it by calling customer service, which tells you that they cant remove it either only a local location can. Then they refuse to answer the phone.
Great service from staff, friendly. quick in and out
Pick up was easy however the exit associate was not that friendly. But returning was smooth and flawless.
Worst company ever !!!! Keeps taking money out of peoples account after returning the car that didnt even go anywhere because of a flat tire that we had to pay for. So not rent from these people they are not helpful and are crooks
By far the worst customer service experience. Waited for nearly an hour to get my car because the woman at the desk was chatting with a man about her glasses and his!Once I got the car it was scratched up all over. I alerted the person who brought to me and his answer was that its normal! When I brought the car back, they asked me to just leave the keys in the car and they would email me the receipt. That never showed up.I will avoid this place next time I am in Michigan.
Customer service was excellent, I was having an absolutely horrible week, She helped me get through a sticky situation with no worries 😉and reminded me to pay it forward were all in this world together. I do owe her an apology and another Thank you but I regretfully didnt get her name
Great experience. The clerk was helpful and informative. Even after not being able to rent us a car she helped us to get a car from a competitor. That is unusual service I was not used to, I will be using Hertz regularly when I travel out of town.
Double billed me for car reservations after I returned 1st rental because the brakes were grinding! Filed a dispute and they have yet to contact me...waiting for solution with my credit card company. I will never use Hertz ever again!
I work here we are a big happy family
I went to Dollar/Hertz excellent service once I got a Supervisor...it was a really easy simple fix and the desk gal made it so difficult... Exchanging a vehicle that wasnt fit for my long legs..the steering wheel was too low.....Terrence J. At the Dollar Rental located at DTW deserves this review...He made sure I was outta there without any more hassles....Thanks Terrence This is why u are the Supervisor......
Training the employees on BIAS is a HUGE concern for me. Just because I am dressed a certain way, doesnt give the employees the right to assume Im not as IMPORTANT as the next customer. Im a corporate customer and a gold customer, yet, I was made to feel like I was getto trash that had no business renting from Hertz. I HAVE all the credentials of a AAA customer who deserved better Carte Blanche than I received today. If this is the standard of Hertz Rental Car, then maybe I need to take my business elsewhere. Loved my experience and the Cadillac I drove! Definitely will rent from hertz again Im the future
I rented a car with Hertz over 4th of July weekend. The wait time to recieve a car was about 35 minutes, but you have to consider this is a major holiday following a pandemic. The experience of renting from Hertz was outstanding. The customer service agent at the front desk was patient with me and offered me different options for my rental. She was very respectful and made me feel at home. The car I received was clean and in great condition, which made my entire rental experience great. When I returned the car, a shuttle came to pick me up within 10 minutes to return me to the airport. I recieved my receipt from Hertz a few hours later. There were no hidden fees involved and I feel very satisfied with this local Hertz. I will continue to use this company going forward when coming into Detroit. Thank you to your staff for providing myself and others with excellent customer service!
Was told if I didnt buy the hertz insurance I would regret it and because parts are hard to get it could cost up to 19 grand if something simple happened to the car.
Quick in and out. Service was very friendly
The staff no longer seems to care. Casts dirty and lines long. I was charged for the satellite radio when it was declined when I rented the car. When I called for customer support to have it removed from the bill no one ever answered. I was in hold for an hour so the must have fired all those people also
No hassle. People at the reception is nice. The lot is a little bit small.
Nice fleet of cars, clean and its a fast convenient pickup if you join the Gold Rewards program
Got a choice of cars to pick ended up with a smaller car than I wanted because the other ones appeared dirty after cleaning they did seal and clean the inside of the car.
Team is excellent and check in staff is great too.
Was a loyal Hertz customer for many years. There were approximately 6 of us each with a separate reservation. First, the shuttle bus never showed up to pick us up at the terminal. An AVIS shuttle driver said she felt bad that we were waiting so long in the freezing cold (15 degrees) that she agreed to drop us off at the Hertz rental facility. Upon arriving at the Hertz facility, they were closed and it was 10:45pm. There was only a very rude and incompetent person in the exit booth who told us that they were closed because there were no cars left (no notifications whatsoever). He proceeded to tell us “I don’t know what to tell you. Go somewhere else.” Great job on a few fronts Hertz....leaving customers with no cars at 11pm in 15 degree weather and hiring ignorant unhelpful people. Needless to say I am done with Hertz and I would tell everyone to stay away from here. Also, thanks AVIS for the ride and hiring a caring person. My business will be coming your way.
Great pricing with Hertz Gold Club, nicer selection of cars too
Associate was exceptional! Easy process...Line was long
We recently rented car from the Detroit International Airport. We received excellent service from Donna. She was very kind and went our of her way to help us out. Thank you so much Donna.
Shockingly bad. First, my reserved car (Chrysler 300M) was not available. I would think for as much money as the wacked me for that Id get the car I reserved. Second, they only had a Cadillac XT5 that smelled like a smoldering cigarette. When I complained they offered several smaller cars and let me stand around for 45 mins before producing a tired 32k mile XT5. The rental had door dings but I took just to move on with my day. 100 miles down the road we drove into a storm and I nearly hydroplaned into the cement barrier. Why? As it turns out the front tires were shot and the wiper blades too. Safety first at hertz i guess! I tried to call Hertz 4 times over the following days and never got anyone to pick up the phone. The photo attached is of a quarter setting on the tire ware bar. This tire is done!
Our experience was great. Check in and out was a breeze.
Shuttle drivers are horrible! No respect for peoples time. Lady sat at stop returning to airport about her lunch break. Laughing with another associate about leaving and taking her break in front of everyone... Not professional at all.
The staff here are always nice and helpful. Fast check in and out with plenty of shuttles to the airport terminals.
Quality cars and great service!
Too much wait times. No matter if you have reservation or did an online check in. Never again. One person at the front desk??? Seriously?
Hertz is my favorite rental car company, but last rental in Detroit, the guy at the exit was not that friendly as Hertzs folks are usually are!
This man was rude to the people in front of me so I knew I was going to deal with a problem. I made a joke to him he just stared at me. It was really late and I had issues with renting a car. He told me he wouldn’t help me and to walk in the pouring rain to another place. He deserves to be fired.
One star is to much for Hertz. Service was poor before bankruptcy, it is now even worse. At best they are a 4th rate company nowcan’t believe I gave this 2 stars at one point.I guess it is because Hertz is going down hill. One star the best now. Need to add negative stars for the future because Hertz hasn’t reached the bottom. One of the worst places the rent a car from.Getting from the airport to the lot was easy. Getting out of the lot was fast.Getting from rental center to the Delta terminal took 20 minutes plus 10 minutes waiting at the lot before leaving.2 stars for being better than the average Hertz despite the long trip back to the terminal.
Absolutely terrible. Was unaware that you can only rent a car with a credit card. Would have been information to have before I flew halfway across the country. Trying to get to my father who is in critical condition, but am now stranded 3 hours away from him. The first lady I dealt with (at the gold counter check in was in no way helpful or sympathetic. I went back to try something else. The young man that helped me there was at least trying to help me.
Thanks for the upgrade, but the wait was 45 minutes because there was only one person working the front desk. Hertz, please hire more people!
Very convenient drop off. Just pull up leave keys and youre done.
The car I rented was great there was a cleaning issue but was fixed great customer service.
Always super easy to rent from.
Very convenient to use the Gold Members
Never ever ever ever use Hertz for rental cars. They have got to be THE WORST company hands down. Whether they lie, or are just poorly managed is up in the air. They promised me a credit to use from our Spring Break cancellation March 2020 that could be used for up to 24 months. When I tried to use it they claimed that no such policy existed. I will admit that my mistake in all of this was using Expedia to book the Hertz rental car. Never doing that again either. I have been fighting Expedia and Hertz over a $800 credit for 6 months now. Finally Hertz promised a refund 2 weeks ago. I called today asking for a status update for my refund and they said there is no refund and they could not locate my confirmation number. Never use Hertz!!
Had a reservation through delta airlines and got there waited for about 45 minutes just to have them say that my card wouldnt work to rent a car gave no reasoning as to why. (My card worked at enterprise so it wasnt due to the card.)
Check in was efficient. Not sure all my options were explained to me. Exiting the lot was confusing- vehicle was pointed in the opposite direction.
The car is nice but why only one station open to exit? Waiting 20 minutes to exit is the wrong move. The exit person was very nice but why not at least two? You know how many people are coming.
I’m never renting a car from dollar or hertz again. Their customer service is atrocious. They have yet to to return my calls regarding a lost item. Submitted the documentation they requested and still nothing. They just don’t care
Consistently misses the mark at every location. Countless issues to list.
Good service, very few cars to choose from
19th DEC. Around 3pm. Lady (her own car was parked under the return station) at the return station don’t wear a face mask !!!! After I told she should wear she never did. Fire this lady and guys stay healthy. Be careful
My first time renting a car. I had booked a car for the 20th of April. On the 19th I called to see what card and how much security deposit I needed. I was told by the Indian gentleman that I needed a 500 deposit and 3 forms of ID in order to use my debit card. I fly from delaware to Detroit get to the hertz office for the lady to tell me they dont accept debit cards. I specifically called the night prior to make sure. So I was charged $320 through priceline.com that im not getting back. The manager lady Shelia or whatever her name is was ignorant and rude and didnt want to be bothered. Great way of doing business!
Huge hidden fees, they set up a trap for you. When I was picking up the car, the staff asked me to sign an agreement without letting me read it first. Then she printed the receipts showing HUGE fees towards the services that I have never agreed to purchased, such as loss waiver and roadside service. I asked for a refund and they told that Ive signed it already. VERY DISHONEST BUSINESS. Never come again
Somehow will do LESS than the bare minimum. Use any other rental car provider here.
Easy access and nice people
100-200 people waiting for bus. 30 + minutes. the hertz mgr should be involved on lack of cust sat
Imagine it is the week of your wedding, but during COVID so youve slashed your guest list by 90%, changed venues, changed your menu, and tou cant go on the honeymoon you want. You decide you want to rent a nice sports car, as that is really the only thing you can do (a Jaguar?).You go to this hertz, the desk lady is not there, you look out the window and watch someone take a jaguar odd the lot. The desk lady comes in, proceeds to tell you she isnt sure why the jaguar was taken, and that she reserved it for you (ha!). She proceeds to try to charge you full price for. Large SUV of moderate luxury because its in the same class.Absolutely shameless. I was on time, the lady lied to my face, and tried to charge me full price. If someone reserves a 2 seat sports car, they dont want a 7-seat suv (should I magically find more people to drive????). Will never go back. Will actively disparage.
We got what we paid for..
Karla at the Detroit airport location was very sweet and attentive. Made me feel at ease when moving. Thank you!
1 hour wait in line. Not adequately staffed
I rented a car here and it was a good experience. Everyone was so nice and the process was very efficient.
Very unorganized. Bus takes forever to come. Waited almost 40 minutes. You’re better off using Budget or Avis.
There is a car shortage as we reopen in COVID-19 which complicates everyones life, but the Hertz workers have been patient and professional as they are getting things done. Thanks.
Usually, I have a good experience. I rent frequently due to an issue with flying. This trip I rented 3 vehicles over 4 days. First, a small car to get me from the airport to my job. 2 days later, returned the vehicle for a truck to transport a server cage. Then later back to a smaller vehicle to drive back home.I rented the truck intending to pick up in Massachusetts and return to Michigan. Once I had the truck and was loaded up. I setup my pickup time for the new vehicle. Heres where the issue begins. The location I was returning the truck to had no available vehicles for rent. None. I tried the next airport on the list which was detroit. 2 hours away. They did have availability and I had no choice but to book it. I called the location that I rented the truck at but they were closed so I did the next logical thing and went to the website. I searched is it ok to return a hertz vehicle at a different location.Yes, for an additional charge of 12.99. As long as it doesnt exceed 12 hours from original drop off time and not 24 hours after original pickup date. Id post a screenshot but it wont let me. Its on the site and pops up on Google. All good. I wasnt worried about having to uber for 2 hours to the other location due to their inventory shortage.Dropped the vehicle and picked up the smaller car which was a mirage...and I ordered a standard which is larger and more expensive but I told the lady at the desk that was fine. Didnt offer me a discount for the downgrade but Im easy going so all good. The guy runs in and asks be for my email to send me a receipt for the vehicle I just returned.Got the new car and was on my way home. I decided to look at the receipt to send a copy to my work email and saw my bill was over $800 for 1 day! Hell no. I called customer support.Sat on hold for 20 minutes...then spoke to a woman about the issue. She placed me on hold for about 5 minutes, no biggie. She said because it was returned to another location the contract was void and the new rate applied. I explained calmly why the change happened and the info I found on their website but she just kept saying that the contract said to return here and u didnt so thats where the new charge comes from.I was told I had to pay it and if I wanted to dispute to do it online. When does a website Trump the human interaction. So, with the 400 percent increase on my rate and the misleading info on the website...aaand the fact that the difference between the two locations was less at Detroit than the original.I should have just ubered two hours....would have been half that price. In my opinion, when an issue like this happens and someone calls with legit reasoning as to why the change was made and an effort to let them know was there...a little more understanding should be afforded.Explain how to make last minute changes so the customer knows what to do next time and not leave customer service reps locked in you broke the contract mode and charge us as if we had the car for 4 days instead of one for a difference of 20 minutes wear and tear on the vehicle. Which was 20 less.Smh...Budget has been solid for me so far too so Ill just stick with them moving forward.
Car was dented up and one tire was semi bald.
Never had any issues in Detroit. ( deserve 5 stars) I cannot say the same for your Indianapolis Airport location. (0 stars) I USED Hertz for my primary rental service. I have asked 3 times for some in customer care to call me and was told someone would call me. I am still waiting and its been almost 1 week and 1/2. Customers who spend an enormous amount each year should not be treated this way. It seems unless you write a bad review, no one takes you seriously. Very terrible service.
First time renting a car in Detroit..Chose Hertz as associated with Delta flight arrangements. Quick, convenient, very clean and COVID compliant. Very helpful staff. EXPENSIVE rental, much more than have experienced elsewhere in the USA.
Lot of options to get your favorite vehicle to drive
Do not rent from here!!! The wait to pick up a car is outrageous! Too many other options close by.
Disappointed after the customer service that I received at Hertz/Thrifty on 2/24/21.1st got there and the luxury vehicle ordered was not available although my customer service desk agent was very helpful to best of her ability and she then upgraded me to a vehicle of choice of which was a 530I BMW. Upon getting into the vehicle I noticed that it was not wipe down, the steering wheel had a white substance in the center, there were finger prints along the wood grain on the passenger and driverside interior door, there were coins on the floor of the back seat, it was evident that it has not been properly vacuumed. The vehicle was wet on the outside with clouded streaks down all the windows from the car wash which no one decided to wipe the car down before giving it to us after spending $1,036 on this rental. My companion went in to speak to the lot manager about my concerns. She came outside to view the vehicles condition. She explained to us that this was definitely a platinum clean vehicle and that the a sticker that guarantees the cleaning must have been blown off by the wind. The sticker had not been blown off by the wind but what had been blown off was our concerns for the terrible condition the rental was given to us and the unprofessional, lazy, and horrible customer service we were receiving. The climate at the Metro Detroit location was very lazy no one wanted to apply themselves other than the desk agent that checked us in and did all she could to find me a luxury car to my standards. The lot manager had one of the people run the car back through the carwash which made it even worse because they refuse for the second attempt to wipe down the inside of the car nor the outside while the lot manager was standing there to witness the dripping wet vehicle and never once delegated to her subordinate to complete the drying of the rental. Hertz has always been known for its incredible customer service. This lot manager and her car cleaning staff is supposed to represent the company that is Hertz and uphold its reputation and customer service guarantee. Meanwhile this man that was to clean the car again a second time and still failed to do. He is now walking through the lot yelling at fellow coworkers and having a grandiose day after we were stuck wiping down our own vehicle in a pandemic. This type of behavior should not be tolerated by any reputable business. My thing is, if you dont want to do the job dont apply for it, and therefore make me the casualty of your lazy sluggish Behavior where youre feeling entitled to make a paycheck after youve done nothing to earn it. I would not recommend Hertz/Thrifty to any of my business colleagues that flies into Metro Airport Detroit. Ive received much better treatment at Budget, Avis and Enterprise as well as your other competitors. There was no excuse for this type of treatment because your lobby was empty. There was no business going on that would overwhelming staff to the point that they could not fulfill their duties to the fullest of their abilities. I feel as that those up in management should be evaluated on a monthly basis. I feel you should send secret shoppers to find out exactly whats going on in these locations. Because when theres no one watching some people become drunk with power and feel theres no need to forefill their job commitment to the fullest because theres no one there to police them. I am appalled and totally disrespected and I will not be returning to this location for any rental needs in the future. I understand that Hertz bought Thrifty but it is now Under the Umbrella of Hertz car rental and it should reach the same standards that Hertz lives by. You all are supposed to be at the top of the food chain when it comes to luxury car rental. I have always recommended this company to any of my out-of-town client when it is time to do business in Metro Detroit. Unfortunately that will not be happening anytime in the near future unless I see a tremendous turn around in work performance.
Super star Melvin! Shuttle driver
Curtious fast and help save money
Too fast and excellent customer service
Hertz should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this location. A luxury suv was requested & a suburban was what was given, that is not a luxury. The suv smelled so bad from smokers & it was not clean there was brown goo( which I hope was chocolate) smeared on the counsel. The tools for the spare tire were not tightened down so there was pipes rolling back & forth at every turn. There was only 3/4 tank of gas. No one had checked out this vehicle before it was given to a customer. The renter was a first responder a surgeon that had preformed surgery since 4:30 that morning flew to Detroit because his grandfather died, arrived in Detroit at 11:00pm picked up the car & had faith that Hertz would be a quality experience. The fact that they charge $9.99 per gallon is total gas gouging, which I thought was illegal in Michigan. DO NOT RENT HERTZ!!
I asked the Hertz employee to wear her mask. She refused, cancelled my reservation, and called the policeFailure to comply is a misdemeanor crime punishable by a fine of up to $500, but some sheriffs have said they will not ticket offenders. And some owners have refused to stop customers from entering their stores without face coverings, arguing they do not have the legal authority to ask residents about medical conditions that could exempt them from the mask mandate. Therefore, if we see you without a mask, we will assume you have a medical condition and will welcome you inside to support our business, said a sign conservative activists were asking businesses to hang on their doors this week.
Fast friendly service..once again used Hertz paid for a Camry and got a SUV nice upgrade. Thx Hertz
Service was good.
Has a fast and professional interaction with there team. The first car I got in to unfortunately had a couple scratches so as soon as i noticed and told them they swapped out my car no problem .and the no Hassel drop of was fast and the lady there was actually wonderful! I will be using the hertz in Detroit for my rental needs
