We were visiting Destin from Texas and our Yukon broke down. We called several places and they either didnt have time to fix our vehicle or they were overcharging. Reached Dluxe Auto and they had our vehicle fixed in no time and back on the road. The camshaft sensor had to be replaced. SUPER nice folks that helped us in a bind while on vacation. Very reasonable cost. HIGHLY recommend!!!

There are no words to express how thankful we are for the great repair work done on our vehicle and the kindness that was shown to us by your business. We were on our way home and we broke down before we even got out of Destin. Every repair shop we tried either flat out said no they couldn’t help us or they were too busy. Well the guy that gave us our tow told us of d’luxe he called them and they immediately worked us in. They got us back on the road and home the same day. They went above and beyond and we are so grateful. Don’t bother taking your vehicle anywhere else these guys are the best!

Service men and owner was very helpful and went out of their way to make sure they got our problem fixed since we were from out of town. Owner talked with us probably 20 minutes or so while he could of been working. I would highly recommend them if you’re in Destin on vacation and have issues with you’re vehicle. Prices were reasonable. They made time for us when others didn’t have the time.

Eddie (The owner) and Brad (Technician) were kind, courteous, and explained everything to me so that I could understand. They let me know exactly what the issue was and made sure I understood exactly what was going on. I was quoted 4 hours of work at the dealership and Brad was done in 2 hours. Very professional, has all the tools he needs, gets the job done right the first time. On top of that they have fair prices. They are great people and Id recommend this shop to anyone.

Eddie and his team are the best. We were coming in from out of town and my battery died. Called the shop from the road and they took us in. In all, I think we spent all of 15 min at the shop. Eddie ordered the battery and had the guys switch it out. Checked the electrical system and ok’d the truck was good-to-go! Eddie even gave my kids a tour of the shop and of some of the really cool cars they were working on. I wish I had Eddie and his shop where we live. They do a great job, for a great price. The whole shop is professional and very friendly. Such a great experience!

I have been to Dluxe twice now to get my brake pads changed. Both times they have been great to deal with. They have friendly staff that gets your car in and out quick. On top of that, they are willing to answer any questions you may have. I had an issue with my backseat and they helped me fix it without charging me a penny. I highly recommend going to Dluxe, they are far and away the best auto body in Destin!

I called shortly before they closed and they were able to get me in right away. They took their time, diagnosed the problem, and were able to get it fixed for a great price. This was probably the best experience I have ever had at a mechanic.

I am not sure where you people get your 5 star reviews, but this place does not deserve it. Brought 2 cars there for 2 separate reasons. With the first one he didnt bother - just wanted to collect money from insurance. And with the second one... well 2 months later I am still waiting for an estimate for my car...

I was a visitor to Destin without much time. Dluxe quickly diagnosed the problem, shopped for the best prices for the part. Unfortunately, I ran out of time and they couldnt finish the repair. For all the time they invested they refused payment but they got me on my way in better shape then when I arrived. I recommend them to all and one.

On Vacation from Texas and my service light came on indicating I needed a oil change I looked up where to go in destin and out of all the shops around they by far had the best reviews. When I arrived they made space to get my car in right away while waiting Eddie came out and spoke with me for 20 minutes and made me feel very welcome and their service was fast! Definitely would recommend to anyone coming to the area for vacation! Wish I had this shop in Texas!

D’luxe Automotive saved me. I was just leaving to go home from spring break and had got into an accident and the radiator was smashed in. I took the car to D’luxe, and was very worried because I had to drive home in two days. Eddie the person who I talked with was very nice and treated me very well. Have had AC problems with my 03’ 2500 Duramax. I googled reviews on repair shops which lead me to D’luxe.I pulled in with heat blowing on me and left with cold air blasting. You know when a post jumps out and gets paint on your car? Well that happened to me the day before I was leaving to go home. I called Eddie at Dluxe Automotive and he couldnt have been nicer. We worked me in and while my friend and I enjoyed the Destin Fishing Rodeo and some great seafood, Eddie and his guys worked miracles. My car looks like new and no one back home will be the wiser about that pesky post. I cant say enough good about my experience. I definitely recommend them and would go back in a heartbeat if I need help with my car again.

Of course I have car troubles on a 10 hour journey to Destin... It was just a crappy battery that needed to be replaced. We jumped the car a couple of times on the way there.This was the first place closest to our resort that had high ratings. Given that this is a tourist town, I trusted that the reviews are not just from friends and family from the town, and that theyre honest feedback from satisfied customers.Eddie greeted me when they opened. Super friendly and young guy who shared his story about how he built up the business from limo service to auto shop, and still doing both. We chatted while we waited for the new battery to be delivered from the store a block away.Instead of charging for the full hour of diagnostics, even if the problem is simple and doesnt require an hour like other shops Ive been to, Eddie charged me only $25 or so, plus the cost of the battery with no markup.He even apologized for taking so long even though it took less than an hour from the time they were able to look at it. (It wasnt on them that I showed up early, but the whole process was still less than 1.5 hr.)I hope other tourists who find themselves in car problems will continue to read these reviews and give Eddie our business. It was a very positive experience and thats quite rare in an auto shop!

I have to say it deserves all the good reviews because I got excellent service from a very professional staff. The price was extremely fair and they went out of their way to make sure my car was completely repaired for my return trip. It was such a relief to me to have a place that was trustworthy. Had a rust spot repaired. The job, once they got into it, was not as bad as expected, so I ended up paying less than expected. Who does that these days??? Eddie was amazing, easy going and accommodating. They worked around my schedule as i had my windshield replaced at the same time. The paint match was perfection and you would never know there was a repair done. These guys didnt disappoint and I am a fan! Highly recommend them! While replacing a fuel filter on vacation an o-ring fell out of a connection and I brought it in to get some help fixing it. The mechanic was super helpful and had it fixed in less than 15 minutes - the charge was very reasonable. Id use them again without hesitating.

We are from out of town. Our car started making funny noises as we headed out for home. These guys were fantastic! We stopped in without an appointment. They were honest with us, letting us know we could probably make it home. They also gave us several options to get it fixed. We ended up fixing it and they had us out in a little over an hour. They were super nice and gave a very fair price. We are on the road again and no more weird noises!

These guys are great. Honest and dependable. On a road trip from Canada and they helped us out in a pinch. Obscure electrical problem fixed in 1/2 a day. Fantastic service. If youre on vacation in Destin and run into car trouble, this is for sure the place to go. He did treat us like tourists, like we were from out of town with a large family wanting to not break the bank and getting back on the road the same day. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated this business. He even helped us get a cab to and from the condo we were staying in. Stopped by for an estimate. The guys were quick and readily available. Very nice guys, and really helped explained all the things that were required for the work. Also explained different scenarios that I could do, to help with the price.

Excellent Customer Service! I was traveling from out of state and had what I thought was a dead battery on a late Friday afternoon. I was referred to DLuxe Automotive by Skipper at the nearby OReillys Auto. Eddie was waiting for me in the parking lot and quickly looked at my car. After determining I not only needed a battery but the alternator was faulty, Eddie and Brad made sure I could disconnect the battery until morning so I could return for the alternator on Saturday morning. Their compassion and concern, as well as their expertise, saved money and saved my trip. The customer service was truly elite and I highly recommend their services.

Competent, honest and customer oriented. Brought truck in for tire rotation and had them do a brake job while I was waiting. Excellent work. Clean shop. Mechanics know what they are doing. Our car overheated while we visited destin for the day from Panama City. We googled best car repair places and their name came up. Boy was it right! They were about to close and couldnt work on our car but the worker gave us such valuable information for our situation and future problems that may occur! He told us how much parts cost and what we should and should not pay for parts and service in case other mechanics try to overcharge us! So so so disappointed we werent able to use them 😞 HIGHLY RECOMMEND ***

I had to return it three times and its still not right. They cut corners hoping the consumer doesnt notice. I eventually had to take it somewhere else to maintain the value of my new 8000 mile vehicle.

STAY AWAY! BEWARE! Took to this garage while on vacation due to engine overheating and was overcharged for unnecessary parts and labor from this completely incompetent and inexperienced garage. A certified mechanic from a reputable shop quickly noticed unnecessary parts and labor. A $200 thermostat would have fixed issue while this garage tried to charge over $1000 to put on a new unnecessary water pump to run up bill. Then they tried to charge even more when they could not even take off mounting bolts to get to water pump. Its a shame shops like this take advantage of vacationers in a town that exists for this reason. Backyard garage mechanics like this give the certified mechanics a bad reputation.

Best automotive shop in Destin. Quick and reliable. The Nissan and Toyota dealerships couldnt figure out what was wrong with my 300 ZX. The guys at Dluxe figured out the problem in five minutes. They had the car fixed in a couple days. Couldnt be more happy with the results.

I have used Dluxe Automotive after receiving storm damage to my 2015 vehicle in Destin. Although they were not listed as a USAA preferred vendor; I decided to use them after speaking with one of their extremely seasoned body master mechanics (almost 20 years experience) who made my car look like new. So to my fellow Veterans, if you have damage to your vehicle makes sure you get a quote from Dluxe Automotive. They do dealership quality, without dealership pricing, and they take pride in their work!

I couldnt have had a better experience from this place. I was on vacation with my wife and daughters when my truck brakes got stuck. They were quick, friendly, and above all...HONEST!! I called a couple of other shops who told me I was looking at 4 hours of labor cost before they even looked at my truck. I know that in vacation areas like Destin, it is easy for shops to charge higher prices. DLuxe Auto fixed my brakes in under an hour and even drove to Fort Walton to pick up the part to fix my truck. I was in and out in an hour total with a bill under $100 bucks. It is nice to know that in Destin, they are an honest shop. They could have charged me much more than they did. I hope this post will provide them some good Karma because they deserve it.

I recently moved to the Destin area from Michigan, so I had to start fresh when it came to finding a trustworthy place to work on my car. My AC went out and I took my car to Tuffys for a free AC inspection. They hooked my car up to something for a few seconds, investigated no further, and effortlessly threw a quote at me for $1200. I left and hoped I could get a more helpful second opinion. After seeing all the positive reviews for Dluxe, I went in the next morning and they proposed a couple of possibilities which they hoped could be a simple and cheap solution. (without mentioning my experience at Tuffys)Sure enough they were able to get my air running better than ever for only $85. They even went out of their way to investigate why my check engine light was on (even though i was already aware of the possible cause), so they could safely clear it and allow me to use my automatic start again. On top of that they did it in less than a couple hours, offered to escort me to work or anywhere if needed, and they were more concerned about my schedule and what I had time for above their own busy schedule. Its a relief to have somewhere reliable away from home that wont try to take advantage of your money. I cant say enough good things about the quality of service and I cant thank them enough for going above and beyond. They have gained my trust for any future maintenance or repairs!

My 2008 Cadillac CTS just 5,000 miles past warranty expiration (of course), starts acting up soon after someone rear ended me. My gut instinct is to always pay a little more and have the job done right, but instead I went with some mechanic that was referred to me. Long story short, after he worked on it a couple times I ended up having to have my vehicle towed to Eddies shop (it was driveable before the other mechanic got a hold of it). I shouldve followed my instinct.Eddie and Charlie got to work and wouldnt quit until they were satisfied that it ran like new (3 weeks). Not only that, but they restored the body from the collision. It drives and looks like the day I drove it off the lot.Best part? I paid 1/5 of what the dealership quoted me, and they werent even sure their repairs wouldve solved the issues.A one stop shop and customer service at its finest.

Its no fun heading to vacation only to realize something is wrong with your vehicle. However, they guys at Dluxe Automotive not only fixed our SUV in one day but also dropped off and picked up from the condo. We cant say enough about the customer service and professionalism. We are in Destin for a couple of months to escape winter. The check engine light comes on, but who to trust? I found this garage on Google with a 4.8 star rating and called. I had some other issues I wanted checked too, so I called and gave them the list. They had me come right over! Turns out they fixed 2 of my 4 issues promptly and at a reasonable $. They didnt fix my brakes because they were fine. The grinding was due to Floridas nightly rusting of the rotors. Now that IS integrity! They could have easily replaced pads, rotors, etc but they didnt. The 4th issue was a transmission concern. We had a nice discussion and they referred me to Webbs Transmission in FWB. Again, integrity and a genuine concern for their customers welfare!

I cannot recommend this place enough!my pregnant girlfriend and i were down from atlanta for the weekend in santa rosa beach visiting my parents when my cars starter crapped out on us in the parking lot of an outlet mall. friday afternoon at 4:30. i did a quick google search and called a few places, none of them able to help me until at least monday. i called dluxe and got ahold of legitimately the most helpful people in any form of customer service that ive ever encountered. the guy who answered the phone told me he agreed that it sounded like my starter and gave me a really fair quote right over the phone and said if i could get it in by 5, theyd have me fixed up and ready to go. when the towing company said they could have it there at 6, which is when dluxe closed, the guy said he would get someone to stay and fix it for me that night. so not only did he go out of his way to get me set up with a towing company, but the ppl at the shop stayed an extra 3 hours after they closed to get my car fixed.they didnt even know that my girlfriend was pregnant with twins.but i hope they know how much they helped us.

The very best time to have car trouble is on vacation right? 300 miles from home and the brake pads go out, no tools, no means, and a limited few options. Found these guys on a Google search, then asked the guys at ORileys about them and they gave them the thumbs up so I gave them a call. They offered to do the job complete (labor & materials) or just swop the parts out for me, which I took them up on. I bought my pads and rotors at a major parts franchise so theyd be warrantied back home and got it all carried over to their shop, and in an hour and a half DluXe had me back on the road. Really nice guys, great looking shop, and very reasonable pricing. they even offered to drop me anywhere locally I wanted to go for the hour and a half of repair, and even gave me his cell number in case we needed anything further,,, hospitality thats VERY nice to find when youre far from home and away from the ssipp.
