There was a miscommunication hiccup, but once I got talking to a therapist they were amazing and so helpful. Highly recommend this place.

Hopefully I can keep this as short as possible. I’ve been getting help here for about 2 years now. Although scheduling appointments was chaotic more so with psychiatrists I had the best therapist that I’ve ever had. Unfortunately I moved out of state, my psychiatrist was alright although he did place me in situations that led to hospitalizations because of his inconsistency with my diagnosis’. (Ex: taking me off a specific med even though it worked great because that session I didn’t seem to fit the criteria of the disorder(s)) didn’t really have a connection with my psychiatrist nor did I feel that he was truly caring about my health and never listened to me just wanted me in and out and showed frustration over my boundaries overtly. My huge issue here is the attitude of those who take calls. I’ve been trying to get access to my medical records (for a good week now) before my new psychiatry appointment and the callers were extremely rude and keep hanging up on me leading me to not have access. I’ve tried to call every single department (even medical records department) with no success. At this point I’m hoping my new psychiatrist will have better luck accessing my own records than I can. Other than that I think they have a fair amount of good therapists and I gained a lot of positive therapy experience but the rest and how it’s run here is very chaotic and unprofessional.

So many of my and my partners appointments have been cancelled or scheduled incorrectly I have lost count. The office staff is unprofessional and rude and cannot schedule correctly. They are completely uncaring and Ive seen them laugh at patients in the waiting room on the 3rd floor. Its only a matter of time before they cause someone serious harm-if a person is suicidal and they mess up their appointment what would happen?

These are some of the most helpful people I have ever encountered. The staff is extremely friendly and professional and they will help you even if you dont have insurance or Medicaid.

I love this place. I can see my therapist and psychiatrist in one day. They are both fantastic and supportive. I got in the next week for my intake appointment which is virtually unheard of.

The worst place to send any mentally ill person, if that person is suicidal, it would be in there best interest to be left in the care of a trusted friend, family member or the next stranger that you come across on the street corner asking for change before these incompetent Dr.s and casemanagers. I told my Dr I felt like harming myself, my plan was blah blah blah. They sent me home so I did exactly blah blah blah. Obviously I survived. Second suicide attempt in these idiots care. I could go on and on. But I would nope out of this option and go elsewhere. Any. where. else!

I can say that if it weren’t for mhcd I wouldn’t have met my therapist two years ago, after over ten years of therapists that weren’t so great to say the least. he motivated me to save my own life and I continue to make progress.

Totally unprofessional, unorganized, and indifferent. Had an appt with Dr. Nova for 5/10/19 that was scheduled more than a month before. Neither she nor any of the stuff had the COURTESY to call me letting me know the appt had been cancelled. When I was there nobody even apologized and frankly did not seem to care. Also since my last visit in February, my case has not yet been assigned to a new doctor.

Kind staff, fun groups and clean facility. Just wish they could provide healthy snacks and bus tickets!

I have been coming here since the 90s. Love it.

Now that MHCD has moved to this new location they are able to help far more people that suffer with mental health Issues. They offer lots of different services to aide in their recovery & help them to once again comfortably fit in to their community!

I have been a client here for a couple of years.they treat me well and are very helpful.

I would not recommend using this facility but if you must be sure to avoid Sarah Archibald. By far the worst psychiatrist Ive encountered in my 12 years of seeking psychiatric help.

MHCD experience budget cuts in the summer of 2015. They cut my full time hours to part time, took away all my medical benefits and wouldnt even allow me to take a half hour off to interview another Company. MHCD fought my unemployment, after unemployment did their investigation, I was awarded full unemployment with back pay. To add insult to injury, Oriana S. Sent me an email stating that I was not allowed to take a 15 minute break during my shift, I I could only take my 15 minute break after my shift was done. I hope they do not treat consumers as badly as they treat the employees.

This place is horrible! I was there for 2 years and they pushed me around to 3 different people! Counseling here is horrible!!!! Find somewhere else if you can! They are very unprofessional and unorganized!
