Holly has saved my life more than once. She is extremely knowledgeable and has always been so supportive. She really takes the time to get to know you and figure out which medication(s) are best for you. I HIGHLY recommend her!
Thank you for the wonderful care you give to my husband. He is so much better. Thank you!!!
I’ve been coming here for the last 6-7 years, after so many years struggling to find proper mental health services. I’ve been on a steady incline in my mental health ever since day one of walking into this office.I’m appalled to see so many negative reviews here; it simply can’t be possible. Those guys have to either be drug-seekers, not part of reality (this is a mental health clinic after all), don’t understand how insurance/non-insurance coverage works, or weren’t working WITH their providers in a professional way to get the help they needed. This group is caring, detail-oriented, will make room for you during a real crisis, work with your intricate needs, help you get off of addicting substances with patience, reach out to your other mental health professionals for a more cohesive understanding of your needs, and they’re also pretty dang flexible with their scheduling. They take a range of insurances, including Medicaid.I don’t know what else anyone could ask for. This place turned my life around, and quite frankly — saved it. Thank you Alder Grove.
Providers do not return messages within a week. When I asked if they took my insurance, I was told that they did. Only to find out that they do not. The schedule did not have any information about the services provided and was clearly an underpaid outsourced entry level staff who was not invested in the practice. Overall, like many mental health providers - this company lacks the skills and tools necessary to work with the population they are designed to serve. I actually found the practice owner email through sifting through a series of bad reviews, but thought Id give them the benefit of the doubt. Good luck to your practice.
Thank you for providing services for those in need. I highly recommend this place.
The most irresponsible fraudulent group I’ve ever met.Avoid these guys like the plague. They aren’t interested in care. They are only interested in liability. They set an appointment and the day before find a reason to cancel it.Don’t waste your time with these guys.I wouldn’t even recommend this group if you had a gun to your head ready to commit suicide! That says something!
Horrible customer service. I booked the soonest appointment available which was 3 weeks out. They cancelled my high priority appointment 2 hours before. They only had an appointment three weeks later at one time slot, or an entire month later. I specifically blocked this time out of my work schedule which I am now losing money, and they aren’t able to accommodate by seeing a different provider, apparently because of my age and insurance. Thanks for wasting my time, my money, and preventing me from getting much-needed assistance in a timely manner. I would recommend going somewhere else where they have respect for you.
I would highly recommend Holly Vause, the owner of this Group, as she was incredibly kind and thorough in her follow up when I had a bad experience with a nurse practitioner here (Aileen Wright). I cant give more than two stars due to how the first session went, but had I met with Holly first Im sure the overall experience would have been much better. Hollys advice on ADHD directly contradicted what was said by Aileen, so I imagine quality of care here could be inconsistent.
Syreeta Speers should not be working in the mental health field. She is rude and snippy, and treats patients as if they don’t matter. I had reservations about my diagnoses, and she made me feel as if I was a hindrance for bringing it up. She ended up giving me an unspecified diagnosis and didn’t discuss it further with me, which could have been part of the reason I was denied disability income, as a huge part of my disability is my mental health problems. She seemed very annoyed by me every time we spoke, and the majority of our appointments were under 10 minutes long, very rushed. People with mental health problems are already made to feel like we don’t matter, but when mental health PROFESSIONALS treat us that way, it’s a whole other problem.
Would highly recommend this clinic. They were great with getting me set-up with someone that takes my insurance, and the virtual appointments have been a breeze. Wish I had found them years ago when I was struggling with other MH providers.
DON’T trust MaryAnn Scarpino !A complaint was filed with the state, D.O.R.A.An investigation opened with a D.O.R.A.,Department of regulatory agencies,December 3, 2020, For gross negligence and malpractice. The facility she worked at was Jefferson Center for Mental Health, PRIOR to her coming to this facility. JCMH is under investigation for record tampering with The Office of Behavioral Health, state of Colorado, to hide the mistake she made to prevent a malpractice lawsuit. Two near death experiences in 15 months!!!DON’T trust her if you value your life.
Whitney is smart and determined! This place will not let you down!!! Very good care, even though it’s virtual because of COVID! She’s an incredible advocate and deserves a raise!!!
Had a great experience with Mary Ann Scarpino ! I’ve been seeing her for a few years now. Lot’s of compassion and she’s great at medication management. I highly recommend Mary Ann !
Ive seen two providers at this practice; Ann, who is old-fashioned in her thinking, and Whitney, who was unprofessional and rude. I will never recommend this place or be back for treatment again.
I couldnt recommend anyone higher than Holly Vause. She is a gifted practitioner, and I am so happy to have found her.
Funny. They only act like they care if you have money. Doesn’t seem like they actually want to help people... sad.
My girlfriend called this facility in an attempt to become a new patient. The woman that answered the phone, named Sarah I believe insulted her by saying her doctors dont want patients on a sliding scale and stated they dont want poor people. People calling this facility obviously are reaching out for help and should NOT be spoken to this way. Completely uncalled for and disgusting. This incompetent receptionist has no place working in a wellness facility with an attitude like that. Absolutely unacceptable.
I love Alder Grove so much! I have sent numerous family members and friends to Holly and Helen. Everyone of them left feeling so much better and so grateful that they were introduced to the people at Alder Grove. The appointment process is incredibly easy and Holly even got a family member in on an emergency for me. I could go on and on about how kind, understanding and helpful Holly and Helen have been and continue to be. I will always recommend this group!
The provider I saw was great but the billing was horrible. We thought it would be covered by insurance but they didn’t tell us until 3 months later that all our sessions were being denied. It took me WEEKS to get a hold of the woman doing billing. They could not provide the reason why insurance was denying. They don’t provide bills or receipts. They could not get me invoices so I could file insurance. It was a truly horrible experience which was too bad because the provider was decent.
I couldn’t of been happier with my experience with the Alder group. Helen has been great helping me work through some issues. The office staff is also excellent and the appointment process was quite simple. Thankful for all their help
I was seeking care and have no insurance. I got a return call from this place and they are charging 3x more than what I have been paying my current doctor. If you are well off and can afford it give them a try. This is not the place for someone without insurance.
This place was wonderful and helped me out tremendously. Bailie Cronin, my psychiatric nurse practitioner, worked hard at getting any medication pre-authorizations done quickly and being able to directly email my provider was incredibly helpful. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. Bailie handled all my acute psychiatric crisis’s perfectly and provided temporary medications for specific circumstances that I won’t reveal publicly. However, I was discharged because I didn’t follow the conditions of my medication management agreement by never going to therapy as required. Rules and rules and it was completely my fault. Losing such a great provider was a big loss but I was given a referral to another provider that operates closer to where I live. My new medication management provider requires monthly therapy appointments to continue receiving services so these kind of rules are very common.
Holly Vause is amazing’She is truly the best person I have ever met.She is understanding and actually listens to what is going on and really dose work with everyone!I would recommend her to anyone in a heart beat !She is a life saver!
I really appreciate Holly. I was struggling with postpartum depression and she helped me get through it.
Paperwork is too invasive and extensive and is an extremely bad idea to have someone who may be potentially mentally unstable fill out on their own prior to receiving any help. Also the scheduling person Sara Aparito was extremely rude and yelled at me because I had a hard time with the paperwork. This place is a joke, they dont want to help people. Take the negative reviews about this place seriously.
Don’t waste your time and you would be better off going elsewhere. Sarah the girl who sets up medication management appointments is extremely disrespectful and very condescending. She doesn’t know how to explain things clearly and then states “you are not listening“ when I absolutely am I need to ask questions.Oh, for those on Medicaid, expect a run-around from Sarah. Thanks for your horrendous customer service.
Sent a family member to speak with the folks at Alder Grove and they were immediately helpful and able to book an appointment within a couple days, after multiple calls to other providers who stated they were booked out for months. The feedback was overwhelmingly posititive and would highly recommend anyone give them a call.
Scheduling is difficult and they have cancelled 3 appointments IN A ROW for me. One with zero notice.
I wish there was a zero, because that is what I have for this experience. The most unethical and straight up illegal practice I have come across. After calling a week to get in, I finally was able to make an appointment. Half way into my appointment the nurse practitioner, was ARGUING with me. Apprehensive about adding prescriptions when I was there to get OFF they made me feel TERRIBLE for asking for brand vs. generic. and had to have ME call the pharmacy to get it reversed and approved through my insurance. You cannot imagine how stressful this was, as at the same time, she was yelling telling me she had to go and another client was waiting to come use the office we were in (never saw supposed “client”) Straight up, the practitioner did not know how to correctly order the brand name of the medicine I didn’t need and requested to not be on in the first place, and was not able to get it covered through my insurance. That’s just the beginning though...I paid for the appointment in cash. Two days later I called to cancel my follow-up appointment as I did not feel it was a good fit. I felt disrespected, uncomfortable, and not listened to. I was prescribed four different medicines when I went in to get OFF MEDICINE and get to the root of the problem. (you know the more prescriptions doctors request the more they make).Thinking all of this was past, I have since found a new practitioner that is covered through my insurance and has me off everything. Today, almost a month later, I see my card charged for an appointment I never made!!!! This is alarming that an office is so desperate to find money they are taking unauthorized card numbers. If you do anything save yourself and find a real office, a professional verified office, and an office that cares. I WOULD HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST going here.**^Ps. Since writing this, in the last twenty hours three new reviews have been posted, indicating the opposite experience of what I had, and providing this office with “5 stars.I find this alarming as this is the only review I have written, ever, and I wrote it to prevent people from being inconvenienced and taken advantage of as I feel I have been. The other review that was on here that paralleled my experience is somehow now nowhere to be found and you can’t see it.Over three hundred dollars later, I am left only with a return to sender email from a front office that I initially worked with that somehow no longer exists, and filing a police report as my card was FRADULANTLY charged, and have spent the day having to set up my accounts so this place can not have my information. Again, whatever you do stay far away, especially because I don’t believe these new reviews on here to be real at all, and just a matter to get the stars to look like they are legitimate when this place is just the opposite and the worst I have come across.
This is an easy 5 star for Holly Vause at Alder Grove(I cannot comment on other providers since I have never needed their services but they have been more than kind every time I have run into them).Holly has been treating me for almost 4 years and has been AMAZING. She is nothing but patient, kind, sympathetic, intelligent...im running out of positive adjectives. She lets me ramble over voicemail and email when my anxiety/stress is so bad im trying to tell her i simply need to re-schedule but I throw my whole life at her, haha. Im fairly decent at reading professionals at this point and she not only has one of the best poker faces in the game but she does it only for positive reasons.Without her I would be very lost, I love this practice. Review readers, ignore that sexist towards men comment in that 1 star review. No one in that office has even shown an inkling of nonsense like that, silly assumption. My provider, Holly, is nice, funny, caring, and kind.Call this office up if you need help. Im extremely thankful for how accommodating Holly has been with my mental issues, she works with me like a teammate. I trust her implicitly.
