I was recently terminated from JFS for being uncomfortable with covid testing on a weekly basis without exhibiting any symptoms. Now, I was shocked at JFS decision to terminate me I was thinking I would have been offered other solutions such as; continue to wear your mask while on duty. Nope, it was one solutions test or we will have to terminate you. Now, I shouldnt have been surprised being a person of color its always been in the predominantly white employment sector my way or the highway (no matter what). I recently, was interviewed of course I had to discuss why I was terminated. I was truly shocked to hear the agency say JFS is not very trauma informed. Hmmmmmm🤔🤔

Dont trust this place. Mission on paper and not in practice. Mistreatment of people with color. The executive staff needs more management and leadership lessons.

This organization is wonderful, I had no idea there was a place that really helped like Jewish Family Services. We had to help our elderly parents, and then we got in a bind in doing so. They really helped us so much, I really appreciate everything they have done for us. Thank you so much, you are a blessing.

Came for vaccine. Sent paperwork and got an email back saying approved but refused people. Don’t trust this place for anything. They don’t care about people.

JFS does great work. I went in and left with food the same day. Pamela was awesome and made the process very comfortable! The people were nice and did not make you feel ashamed for needing help. I was able to make fresh meals that helped me get by and I know if I ever need to visit again they will welcome me with open arms!

I struggled for school supplies for my kids like so many parents. I just saw on the news how your organization visited on 13th and Xenia. Language barriers were broken by smiles. We all can relate to the radiance of a smile as well as the sadness of tears. You made a lot of families happy today💗 Im glad you were there for those families. Happy Bat Mitzvah to the young lady featured! I thank you!

This program helps so many people from all walks of life. Everyone deserves a fighting chance! This program helps people get back on their feet.

Fantastic organization they really care.

I’m in desperate need of assistance this month and the woman answering the phone was incredibly rude and almost immediately hung up on me. Asking for help isn’t easy. I already spoke to United Way who referred me to Jewish Family Service. I guess I will be forced to go back to sex work since this non profit is so unhelpful and the only resource I could contact. More than likely misusing their funding by the way these other reviews sound.

They were great. Only went 1 time but they were courteous, helpful, kind and sincere.

I called today at 11:30 am to ask for help and the lady answered me was so rude and she talked so fast she put me on hold like 2 or 3 times and she was so mean. She kept asking me what you do want with and an attitude. This should be a place to help people not to give them an attitude .

JFS was the only employment place were I have felt like I belong and am part of the family. The organization loves and care about its employees and community. JFS believes in strengthening the community by providing vital service to people in need. I am proud to have been part of the daily amazing work JFS does. I hope someday soon I get to go back and be part of the family again.
