DO NOT PURCHASE A SPA GIFT CERTIFICATE ONLINE!!! My purchase was confirmed and a certificate number was issued. However, the gift certificate was never sent to the recipient or the receipt emailed to me! The spa uses a separate vendor and could do nothing to correct the problem from there. They were able to see that a certificate had been purchased and set up an account with the $$ available in their system. Hopefully, when the appointment is made, it will go smoothly.
Emmalee is phenomenal. I had the pleasure experiencing a customized facial and my skin is glowing. Emmalees knowledge, soothing touch (I mean, it was heavenly), and her personality made my experience incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. I will be back again and again because of her. THANK YOU EMMALEE!!
Overall it was okay. The massage its self was good, but everything else about the stay was underwhelming. Its a loud salon upstairs, you walk though the lobby in a robe. You change in the semi public locker room,Just wasnt what we were expecting
We had appointments at the Oxford Club while staying at the Oxford Hotel. Fabulous massage and product recommendations. Well definitely be back!
Reserved a massage for my pregnant wife, gave cc info, was given instructions for the appointment, showed up and no appointment was scheduled. Then came the insulting questions about our attention to detail and scrutinizing...we were told we would receive a call back and still havent over 3 days ago. What is wrong with this place? We have a gc from family as a wedding present and it was fairly expensive, they just took the money and have not followed through with our schedule. Also, theyre requiring us to print out the paper gc- do they not have records of the purchase?
I got a pedicure Sunday and the lady was very nice and I enjoyed the pedi and mimosa however yesterday one of the gel polishes chipped off. Ive never ever had gel polish chip off sooner than a month at the cheaper salons Ive been to. Very disappointing since this place is so expensive!!!
GO SEE EMMALEE for your skincare needs.Emily is present, has spent years developing her skills, and will make your skin glow like a thousand suns.I had the pleasure of paying Emmalee for multiple skincare services and waxes in Michigan. She is an expert in her field and I felt at ease in her presence.I trusted Emmalee with my skin and I hope you find that with her, as well.
Facial was supposed to be 80 minutes and only lasted 50 minutes. Spa manager said she would email me with a gift certificate to return again and never heard or received anything from them. Horrible experience and was not worth the money. I will not be returning.
Emmalee is by far the best esthetician I’ve ever experienced! Her touch is so relaxing, and her knowledge on skin care is extensive! She was able to answer all my questions and even teach me new things! If you’re booking a facial here, you need to see Emmalee, you won’t regret it!!!
We treated ourselves to a spa day for Valentines weekend. The massages were AMAZING- best Ive had in years. The manicure/pedicure felt so rushed and not at all special. We booked services together but my partner had to wait for 30 minutes because of an unexpected booking. they scheduled the same technician to work on both of us at the same time and she was clearly overworked and ready to go home. She did a terrific job, we just felt awkward the whole time because one of us was just waiting around or we worried she just wanted to go home! Not the experience we were hoping for! Beautiful space though. Felt clean and safe.
I just got back from an AMAZING massage with Jill. She was so kind and her hands are completely magic. The women who helped me during my time at the spa were wonderful and genuine. I can’t wait to come back!
I loved the atmosphere and cleanliness of the spa/locker rooms, and the staff was fantastic!!
Ask for Lily! She is the best!
Had a deep tissue massage with Michael. Best ever! I will definitely be back. I also got a facial from Amanda and that was lovely. Much needed after quarantine. I left feeling like a gummy worm
$300 for a couples massage left disappointed. The lady injured my hubby. He had blood that surfaced on his shoulder immediately after the massage. I know usually you feel the soreness but never see marks like that. He is a welder and wanted focus to be on his hands but she seemed to skip them completely. Also we were told to arrive by a certain time to receive a drink to wind down but after we changed they told us we wouldnt have time. I am very disappointed I was looking foward to this so much and left dissatisfied. Going to be contacting a manager.
My husband and I are visiting Denver and just had a massage with Abby and Lindsay. They were both AMAZING! We would come back to Denver just to have a massage with them again!
Tasha and LaTisha are an amazing hair team. My hair looks fantastic, and I feel so good. Thank you, ladies!!
Great Servives . Manager very rude. Do not ever tell a lady We got out the gray
They don’t answer the phone... tried 3 times
Great spa, and if you’d sty at the hotel you can connect directly through a hallway on the second floor. I’ve only had a few of fancy massages at a spa, my wife is in the billions, but we both agree that the deep tissue massage from David is one of the best there is.
Amazing!! Beautifully decorated, everyone is so friendly. And Tasha is INCREDIBLE. My hair has never looked and felt better, I’m in love
Did a couples massage. Vida was an absolute master. I perform Naprapathic bodywork so I can tell who is a pro. She was very intuitive and if you want deep tissue she is incredibly strong. I am sure she will cater pressure to your liking. The whole flow of the massage and use of hot towels was wonderful. She took away so much tension which I had a lot of. My girlfriend also loved her massage and she likes it more gentle so they have a diverse staff.
My husband and I booked a couples massage here on our first anniversary (while staying at The Oxford Hotel). Weve each had quite a few massages, and we both agreed that the ones we received during this appointment were the best massages either of us have ever received. Our massage therapists listened to us and focused on areas we requested, applied more pressure when requested, and generally allowed us to truly relax as they worked out knots and kinks (were in the process of moving and admit to being a little stressed!) We both walked out feeling lighter and taller. It was definitely a positive experience.
Great service
Ive just discovered the most amazing Alpha re-set in the city! Michelle Buettner is my massage therapist and uses the hot stones to rock my world! The deep even pressure is perfect for my sore muscles!! The steam room, the aromatherapy and ambiance! Ah! I cant say enough! 5 stars all the way.
Had to share. I dont know about you but for me moving to a different state and having to look for a new hair dresser is scary! Her name was Melissa Knight, she made me feel comfortable from the time I sat in her chair. It was like she new what I was wanting without even saying to much. She told me about a technique that she would do on my hair by painting color on it, and she would not use foils that way it would look natural not have a harsh grown out. I LOVED it!
Had a very nice manicure/pedicure (my first!) and my fiance got an excellent massage, BUT even though I was completely clear when I booked our reservations that we had a valid, unexpired gift certificate which stated specifically that gratuity was included, the spa wanted to charge and extra $60 before gratuity for the services, stating that their prices had changed since the certificate was purchased. Mind you, the certificate didnt say $XX value, it said 1 hour massage, manicure, & pedicure with gratuity included. They should have honored the certificate... but if they couldnt bring themselves to be outstanding, they should have at least notified us upfront of the change and resulting charges. Ended up arguing it out and simply leaving good tips for our providers to make sure they didnt get hosed too, but, come on yall, was it really worth it to you guys to leave a bad impression about how you do business?? Very uncool.
I recently had a deep cleansing facial and I was extremely impressed with the service that the Oxford hotel offered! The ladies at the front desk were extremely sweet and helpful. Michelle who did my facial was so knowledgeable and did a wonderful job. I left so happy and relaxed. I cant wait to go back!!!
I have been to the oxford spa several times to get my eyebrows done by Lea. She is amazing and precise with her work! Microblading isnt painless but she does her best to make you comfortable. I havent had any other treatments done here but it is beautiful! The staff is always friendly as well.
I went to the Oxford Salon and emerged with every bit of my hair burned off to the scalp. My stylist chemically burned off all my hair, and it continued to break and fell out for the next week. I was completely bald on over 70% of my head. It’s been a year since this happened and I’m still so upset that I couldn’t even write an objective review until now.I went into the salon a year ago to get a straightening treatment. A week before the treatment, I went in and had the stylist take a section of my hair to test before the full treatment. A few days later she called and said I was good to go with the treatment. She did not do it the way I had previously experienced.I’ve been getting Japanese thermal treatments for 10 years, once a year, and my hair looked amazing every time. I had not had one in the last 6 years since I’d moved to denver since I was scared to try a new salon.Needless to say, one year later, today is the first day I’ve been able to feel any life in my stumpy, oddly shaped chemically severed hair. And I look forward to having it get back to its previous healthy state.Do not recommend for straightening treatment.
A beautiful spa with talented employees. Best massage Ive ever had. The views from the salon chairs are awesome.
The definition of luxury. From the second that you walk in you already feel pampered. From the plush robes to the beautifully quiet seating area to the many drinks that they offer, you are spoiled the whole time. The staff there is absolutely incredible by far the best massages I have ever had
Many weeks in advance, I scheduled 4 massages at the same time for my sisters reunion at The Crawford Hotel. We were coming together from all over the country, and only had a narrow window for this reunion. When we arrived for our massages, they didnt have us on the schedule until the following week! It could have been a huge bummer, but instead, they got to work immediately figuring out how to accommodate us. We settled on getting massages the next morning, which barely worked out, but it did. Operations manager Tanya offered us many choices to make up for the error, and we really appreciated everyones willingness to help us out. And the massages were excellent, by the way!
Booked a pedicure for my girlfriend for her birthday. Got confirmation etc. Then I get an email one day before that the time was no longer available. Email response takes forever. Truly unproffesional.
Very kind and helpful concierge. Beautiful hotel with a winter holiday ambiance!
Just had a couples massage with my husband and it was the best massage Ive ever had! Thank you, Sam!
I treated my mom to a pedicure during a recent trip to Denver - we loved it here. The decor is adorable.
Nice spa, great service. Vintage charm galore
I told them they arent able to even price a pedicure at $100. The spa chairs are Homedics brand and they turn off after about 5-10 minutes. The foot tub does not even have jets. The pedicure is 80 minutes only because the girl slows to a crawl filing, and filing, and filing. Yes, she is very gentle and thats nice but sloppy with the polish, I felt more acetone corrections than anything else. It still felt like she was rushed because she even forgot to do a callus file on my right foot, I noticed this because she had already began the foot scrub when she realized she forgot to apply some sort of cuticle cream. I had to watch her struggle to do both. I had no paraffin treatment and they use the thinnest towels that barely had heat by the time she put them on. The massage portion of the pedicure was a few squeezes on my foot. I honestly feel like I could have had a better, more cost effective pedi from almost anywhere. The decor was nice but kind of cheap like a Marshalls or Ross type of decor set up. I had my headphones in but that didnt block the sound of the washing machine thumping on the floor or the talking between the employees before most left. I ordered the mud bath for my partner. He said it was pretty watery and not up to expectations. He is a massage therapist and was very happy the massage was the shortest part of his experience. All this to the lovely sounds of pop music! Thank god for my headphones. Oh yeah, when I told the guy how I felt about the services he was a bit of a smart ass about it. I mean I just dropped over $300 for subpar services the least you could do is forward the customers comments up the line.
Had the best massage Ive had in ten years here!
I feel like I should leave one review for the salon and one for the spa. The salon is 5 stars. Ive had my hair cut there for a long time and the gals in reception are fantastic and my hairdresser is exceptional. Its a neat building and the salon chairs look over 17th street, which is a great view. However, I would NOT recommend a mani or pedi. And I feel like I can really review because I keep going back and trying it again and again...hoping it will be better. The polish is always sloppy or applied too heavily and the massage is super half-hearted. My last experience was shellac and because it stays for 10+ days, its a problem when its not painted well.
Highly recommend a massage by Michelle Buettner. First off, the Oxford Hotel and Oxford Club are second to none in the Denver. If you are looking for relaxation and sophistication, the combination of elegance and ambiance at the Oxford cannot be beat. Several months ago I scheduled an appointment on a whim, and now I am a devotee! Grown-up bare necessities! Michelle also is an esthetician and pilates instructor.
Says open till 8. Called at 6:50 and everyone left for the day. Uhmmm. Wanted a manicure, and everyone left?

The staff was friendly. The services were ok. But for how expensive this place is, I’d hoped for more.
I had high expectation for the cost. I would never go back there. The spa was totally outdated and needs to be renovated. My service providers were friendly but not amazing at their craft. Disappointed.
Amazing staff, elite spa options! A+
Great gym experience.
