After traveling from another state, I sought employment. I spoke with Pete Torres over the phone and he assisted me with onboarding from a temp to hire job for the next day. I requested 2 days off granted with Pete. I was ready to work at the requested rate. A female called me late and reduced that rate. With such rate from Pete, I would Uber to and from work. Make you confirm everything with Pete and only Pete.

I was greeted in a fast and friendly way. The staff worked hard to ensure my information was correct and ensured the that they are working hard to find me the right place to work. They are great at what they do.

Took 5mins. For Courtney to land me a job, with good pay, and a great company. Tasha at the front desk was very helpful also while she was doing payroll. This company is A1 and very professional, I highly recommend Express professionals because thats exactly what they are.

If there was a ten star option I would definitely give all ten, and for the life of me I cant see how anyone could give less than five. Malia is the one I called up the day before Thanksgiving, she called back on Friday and ask me a few basic questions. she promised to call me beginning of the following week, true to her word that Monday I received a call. She got me an interview and did it all over the phone, she even got them to unlock the door when I was stuck outside of the business by calling them up. Here I was stuck outside unable to make my interview and unable to get anyones attention inside. If not for Malia I would have missed the interview. She followed that up with checking on me to make sure I got in and asking how the interview went. I live in a part of the great state of Colorado with limited cell service, meaning that I dont always get my phone calls, Malia is very persistent and very thorough to say the least, when she was unable to reach me she sent me an email and a text message. All the email and text message said was I have an update or you concerning the job when I finally reached back out to her it turns out that I had gotten the job, without Malia and her unrelenting approach to work and to get people working I would have never known about it in time. I most certainly would have missed a great opportunity and a good job a good career. I owe her a debt of gratitude and a round of Starbucks coffee for her and everyone in the office at the very least, I strongly recommend that anyone serious about wanting to work go see her and the rest of the staff at Express employment professionals.

To start. I am having to use my other work email as I was not able to write a review with the one this company had on file.Me and my husband had been working with this temp agency for a few months. We instantly got placed at Capital Lumber Co. in Denver. While working there in 2 months as packers we got trained for our forklift certification. I stayed on packing because they were short handed. A month went by and we were not trained to pull orders, however my husband was rotating and staging packages for them to load on the semi along with packing the product as well. Express refused to give him a pay raise like all the other rotators/forklift drivers. The company used him because they were short forklift drivers and instead of paying him they made excuses saying he wasnt officially promoted because he wasnt rotating, AND pulling orders. There loophole. We were told by employees within the company that had been there for years that we were being used as well because temps dont matter to that company. Then our checks werent adding up with the amounts we had been keeping track of so one of the employees let us know that you need to take photos of the paycom system because they WILL short you money. Express tried saying well you didnt work this day even though that is in the next pay period when I just got off the phone with them and tried blaming the issue on the company. I will be getting emails later for all the hours clocked in and out which we asked Courtney for prior and she didnt even know what a paystub was? So Malia will be sending them now that we resigned.Anyone going through this temp agency be very weary and watch your money. Keep photo evidence of your clock in and outs through any companys system. Make sure you know your log in to expresspros.com to track your hours . Even if its the ones you write down on the sheet and have to turn into whatever company you work for, make a nice little file in your gmail with photo evidence of your time cards. Because you cant view them through your online log in. But they will happily send them when you no longer are with them. And honestly photo evidence of anything that isnt professional or safe. This was our first experience with this temp agency and they present them selves very professional with the layout of the office we went to in Downtown Denver. However they talk you in circles. Be sure you know your pay period. Keep to yourself. And keep track of everything. I know some other employees that didnt have these issues but were also on top of calling and constantly being on Express.There is a miscued view of temp associates. Because we are temps does not mean we are incompetent. Or that we have substance abuse problems, or are poor workers. It means thats the view society has of us. I have been with the Express Denver Office since 2005 and so far everyone has been very nice to talk to and work with. I only wish the State jobs would pay more, because temporary people like me, work long and hard and should be paid for what we deserve. Hopefully the Denver office will keep me busy, especially when December comes around. Express really does try to find people good jobs and I have worked for some good companies since I have been with them. They know what the economy is like out there and they try to help out the best way they can and they know that working for minimum wage is not cutting it out for alot of people in this day and age.
