I am so happy that I finally found my go-to alteration shop. I have visited many other shops in Denver, and Lowry Alterations stands out on so many levels. Not only is the quality of work superior to others, they are so helpful in finding a solution that is personalized to me. I had a dress that was too small and had no material to be let out and they re-created it to fit like a glove! They have done so many of my basic and complex alterations and have absolutely saved my closet!

These guys can handle anything; they are life savers. Theyve done a full range of alterations for me, from hemming a simple skirt to almost completely re-sewing a formal gown. I have had multiple alterations done here, and every alteration has been done well. They have done a nice job with all my gowns and pants. My alterations are consistently done on time and they are transparent about how much it will cost. The pricing is reasonable and the staff is nice!

Earlier this year, I had ordered an ice skating dress online. When it came, the dress was too short and I couldnt clip the straps on my shoulders. Luckily, I found Lowry Alterations. They fixed my dress perfectly!! It fits just right now and I couldnt be happier with it. The service there was great and the owners helped me in every way they could. One of the ladies there told me she would have the dress finished by Saturday, but I needed it earlier than that. I expressed my concerns and she told me she would have it done by Wednesday instead, which was amazing and very kind! However, they didnt have the fabric needed for the alteration, so I had to go buy the fabric on my own and bring it back to the shop. But, my experience here was very enjoyable and I will surely use them in the future!

I have found that all the work they do is very well done. I have had both casual and formal garments altered, and they do a great job on both types. They have a quick turnaround time, and have been affordable.

Had my bridesmaid altered here yesterday in time for my friends wedding. They did an amazing job! Such a quick turnaround and very professionally done. They completely recreated the fit and were great to work with. Will definitely be returning!

5 stars isnt enough! They really saved the day. Came in last minute to get a bridesmaid dress completely re done as it was 3 sizes too big and was shocked at how great it looked! They did an amazing job and got it done for me so quick! The dress fit better than I couldve hoped and it was very affordable. I will definitely return and refer to all!

They were not very friendly or helpful. I brought my dress in to be altered she said she could not do it I took it to another shop on Kramera and she altered my dress perfectly. It was our daughters wedding. Oh well live and learn.

Thank goodness for this dedicated business. I was in Colorado for a weekend wedding and realized Id grabbed the wrong sport coat. I found myself in a store buying a sport coat that needed about 2 inches taken off the sleeve, and some tightening up in the back. They did a fantastic job! A one day turnaround and a very affordable price for the work being done. The workers are very friendly and care about doing the best job possible making sure that I was satisfied. I now love this sports coat more than the last! Definitely recommend going to such a caring and affordable place for alterations.

I just would like to say that I was extremely satisfied with services. Our adult day care center need it some alterations done for our senior drama club. It was done on time and quality of work was magnificent. Very detailed work and great customer service. I would recommend them for everyone.

Ive had Larissa do alterations on over seven suits and countless pants and they have always come out exact and on time. For a local shop that does all the work in-house, they cant be beat! They also do a fantastic job with rush jobs.One quick thing to keep in mind is that they do not accept credit cards. Cash or check only.

I brought a suit and some shirts to be tailored as I am a relatively smaller guy and finding suits my size is hard. I was in and out in just a few minutes and they were done perfectly! If youre looking for quality please look no further!

I cannot speak highly enough of these guys. I flew into Denver for a meeting, and discovered in the cab from the airport that the new suit Id picked up at Nordstrom the evening before had been inexpertly altered and my thighs were showing through the seams in my trousers. We drove by them and decided to stop. They did not disappoint, and had me back on my way in under 40 minutes with perfectly repaired seams. Meanwhile I saw how they dealt with other customers and helped them tailor their suits, and the professionalism and attention to detail were obvious. Id recommend this shop without hesitation and will be eternally grateful to them for sending me to my meeting without showing pale white thighs. Five plus stars.

I agree with other reviews that said this place is a bit pricey, but they do fast work and a good job. Im satisfied and have returned time and again!

Very expensive, I had a small tear in my distressed jeans that I wanted fixed and it cost $14.00! It also took them a week to fix it! They only accept cash and I was told it was $10.00 when I dropped them off so I brought that amount when I picked them up since I never have cash. I had to go next door to a bar to withdraw money from an ATM and pay another three dollars for ATM fees! I would not go back to this place. Slow repairs that are over priced with average repair work.

Disappointing to me as a Lowry resident. I called to schedule a suit measurement and they told they me no reservation required, got there and they said women only, even though their sign says men women and children....also rude to me on the phone and in person.

This place is great. I brought in my wedding suite only days before the wedding. They had it done just in time at a resonable price! They definately saved the day

Staff completely botched my alteration and tried to convince me that it was adequate. Frankly, the staff just doesnt take any pride in their work. Moreover, in addition to being incompetent, the staff is not at all friendly. Will not be returning.

Well I didnt actually get anything done here. My husband walked in with just a few patches to be sewn on his jacket. They insisted that other walk ins would be taken before ours. Didnt I just walk in? Maybe there was a language barrier or something. I would have rather had them tell us that they didnt want our business.

I got a pair of pants hemmed at Lowry Alterations a couple of months ago. I’ve worn the pants maybe three times since then, and the stitching has already fallen out on one leg. Not sure what their method is but it doesn’t seem to be permanent.
