I can’t speak to the actual quality of the sewing- just make sure you get quotes for everything before you even step foot into your garments!!!!I called on the phone and asked for a general range for the price of a hem on a bridesmaid dress- totally understanding that this can flux I just wanted to know if it was worth my time. I also mentioned i needed it back within 5 days- understanding this is a right turnaround. She told me to come in and she would tell me the price before and I could decide if I wanted to proceed.So I get in there and say I called already and she told me to go straight to the dressing room so I did. I come out and she does the fitting- well I go to the counter and she says it will be $250 for a hem. She said she didn’t know the dress would be sequin (fine) and that I needed it rushed (false/ I mentioned this on the phone already).Anyway, I said I couldn’t pay $250 for a hem and I’d like my dress back. she ended up charging me $20 for a fitting.I said oh I thought you would quote me before charging me anything and she said you should have asked before trying the dress on…….which I tried to!Anyway, just make sure you know what the price is and you’re good with it before trying anything on is my best advice otherwise you’ll get charged for no services.

I am extremely frustrated with this company as they do not disclose cost upfront and then surprise you with a mega bill at pickup. I dropped off an $80 bridesmaids dress to get hemmed and taken in at the top. It cost me $264... Thats THREE TIMES THE COST of the dress!!! Absolutely insane and extremely frustrating. All costs should be told to the customer upfront (without having to ask) and prices should not be more than what it costs to get your wedding dress altered.

I had a very last minute need to get a dress hemmed for a wedding and was leaving town in about 36 hours. Erols was gracious enough to agree to do the job with such a quick turnaround and the quality of work is outstanding. Ill definitely be going back to them for my future alteration needs.

I had my wedding dress altered with another business and it was terribly botched to the point that 10 days before my wedding I was about to buy a new dress. My wedding planner suggested I take it here to see what they could do. In less than a week they took a unusable dress back to a dress I was excited to wear and got compliments on. They are so kind and so helpful. I have since taken many pieces to them and everything is perfect. You will not be disappointed!

Will not be returning to this store. I brought in a midi dress to be lightly altered—just shortening the sleeves and putting a stitch in. When I arrived at the store to pick up, I was brought my dress and shuffled around to a different person. He did not tell me the price and just asked for my card. When I checked my bank account I saw that they charged me $70 for these minor alterations!!! I called back the next day to see if there had been a mistake and the woman was extremely rude to me telling me that they never tell the customers the price and that I should have asked?? In the middle of our conversation she put the phone down on the counter, continued with her customer in the shop and then hung up on me. I hate to write a review like this for a small business but I am extremely disappointed in the service. Reading through reviews, I now see that several women have had similar experiences there. I’ll be finding a different tailor to take my business to.

I got my wedding dress altered here. It was definitely not an easy job, it was 2 sizes too big and it had multiple layers. The owners are so nice and so sweet and they seem to do a great job with your typical jobs. But I have to give the warning to brides- you should probably try and find a place that specializes in wedding dress alterations. They did the best they could and I paid them the $700 for their efforts. I now have to go out and get a new dress though. Pretty upset but I know they did their best!

Fine tailor for fine clothes. We have been taking pants, dresses, shirts to Erols for years. We discuss what we want done and with his suggestions we come to an agreement. A week or two later hes done and the clothes fit perfectly. Our clothes arent as fine as some I see him work on but we still get the same attention. For years this has been true as it was this week.

I love Erol and his wife! They have done numerous alterations for me and the quality is always perfection. Theyve also done extremely last-minute alterations for me when I was in a pinch which I SO appreciate! They also repaired my husbands favorite leather jacket that was 20 years old and it looked brand new!They greet everyone with a smile and give each of their customers their undivided attention and care. I always see happy people in the shop. Erol and his wife are both just really pleasant people and I will be really sad the day that they retire. Their work and customer service are both A+.

Honestly I hate to leave a poor review for a small family business, especially during covid times, but my experience was incredibly bad. I had two extremely simple alterations that I was going to do myself, but figured I’d take in based on the fantastic reviews. The fitting was very rushed and I didn’t feel like they took any time at all to ask me how I wanted the pieces to fit. They charged me $100 to take in two four-inch side seams and three elastic straps, one of which they twisted before re-attaching. The lack of attention to detail and the poor customer service at such an exorbitant price point was completely disappointing. I ended up fixing it myself anyhow.

I am really disappointed with a bridesmaid dress alteration. After insisting upon my initial visit that the pinning done would make the dress fit properly I received my dress back with a 2.5 inch gap in the bust. Upon pointing out that it wasnt done correctly they wanted to charge me almost double the initial price making the alteration cost far more than the dress. This was a really disappointing service after a glowing recommendation from the woman who had done my wedding dress. Make sure you insist on the alterations you need and not let them guide you with their best practice otherwise youll pay for their mistakes.

Filiz and Erol did a wonderful job of altering my wedding dress for my 2020 socially distanced wedding! Im under the impression that they dont do full wedding dresses, but since my dress was a simple style (more like a brides maids dress) so they were willing to take it on. They were always kind and very responsive to my concerns, and their professionalism and friendliness helped reduce my wedding-dress-related anxiety (for example, Filiz helped me stay calm and troubleshoot when I got a stain on my dress, and it ended up all working out fine). I thought the price was fair for the amount of highly skilled labor involved, and I felt beautiful and confident on my wedding day thanks to their excellent work! For a pair of Levi 501’s patched. Fast turnaround, high quality job. Pretty pricey ($28) for a patch, but you gotta pay for good work. Erol & Filiz are super sweet.

They not only got my dress perfect after just one visit they got all of the suits for the men in my family perfect. I feel so amazing in my dress and they made me feel incredible also, I will be going back for any further alterations and I highly recommend you do as well.

Just got my dress back from Erols and it is exactly as I hoped it would be! They did fantastic work with a very unconventional garment that had massive balloon sleeves and beading. The work done here is worth every penny. Cant wait to wear this out!

I am very pleased with this place. I picked them based on their proximity and great reviews. I took a winter coat in because the zipper was broken. They determined that only the clasp needed to be replaced, which they did for a reasonable price and within hours! They are very friendly and professional.

My wife needed a dress hemmed here, and I went along with her to the consultation. It has a really class feel to the store, and the tailors seem to be very knowledgeable and experienced. I remember the final price being a bit high, so if you are looking for the cheapest possible place to get a pair of pants hemmed or the like, you might want to get a quote here, but I feel their prices are warranted given the quality of their work.

Terribile Experience. DO NOT GO HERE. I had an extremely easy hem on a sun dress. I needed the strap to get altered in less than an inch and he charged me $48. When I dropped it off he said it was an easy fix and it would be around $14. I do not recommend. Never going back

They charged me $78.00 for a simple hem job upon dropping my maxi dress off on a Tuesday. When I picked it up for a wedding I had that weekend, no work had been done and they refused to offer any sort of refund. I called the following week and they said I could bring it in and they could hem it, but the wedding had already happened and I ended up having to walk down the aisle holding my dress bunched to the side... Overpriced and clearly miss some of their orders altogether. Go somewhere else.

Horrible service and extremely overpriced.I tried on my dress after picking it up and there appeared to be no work done on it. When I called the man on the phone first denied that no work had been done, then said to bring it back in, even after I told him several times that the wedding had already occurred and I no longer needed the dress hemmed. He refused to offer any sort of reimbursement or refund. Go somewhere else.

It was a NIGHTMARE.I agreed to cover $300 fee for alteration of a brand new 2K designer gown so I dont have to worry about the outcome.I was shocked when I came for the fitting and it did not close on me! We measured all twice and I was very specific about my request. Yet they cut it out almost 5 EXTRA INCHES!!! Apart from that the structure was crooked, stitches were wavy and there was a stain of blood or else on the lining. That is not what you expect paying $300 fee!They promised to fix everything and have it ready for the event.When I came there again it was the same story. Only 10 times worse. And the dress cracked on the seam during the fitting. It was clear to me that it was ultimately ruined. I was asking for them to cover the damage, on what Erol responded with nonsense lies about not even making those changes to the dress, and her husband would offend me directly and personally. When I mentioned suing them she made up a scene to publicly embarrass me and scare me away. Then her husband would just ignore me for a long time expecting me to leave, while she was hiding in the backroom. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT CIVIL.I was not going to leave until the issue was resolved in a way. I agreed to give them another chance on fixing the gown and have them refund me for the service (cause nobody was gonna cover me the cost of the garment).The dress, of course, ripped on me right at the fancy wedding in Manhattan.I wish Id never use their services.

Its a homey, family-owned business, blissfully out of place in the midst of Cherry Creek. They helped brainstorm creative ideas for how to alter his suit on a budget, and volunteered a more inexpensive option. My fiances vest and suit jacket were tailored in a week and half and now fit like a dream. Price was extremely reasonable. We will definitely be going back for all of our tailoring needs!

It took Erol all of 3 minutes to measure me up for the “slim fit” off the rack name brand suit hanging off me.When I got it back the pant length and waist were perfect, and the V shaped jacket followed my shape perfectly.On top of that they are friendly and very professional. I highly recommend them for suit alterations!

Just went here for first time, service is amazing and they do a great job. Overall just a really friendly, warm, quality business I feel lucky to have discovered. Not a frequent tailor customer but it was about $75 for them to let out a nice topcoat for me that was a bit small, not sure if thats expensive or normal but the quality was excellent so worth it for me.

I’ve been to three other tailors in Denver, and none of them come close the Erol’s quality. As a 6’5 thin dude, finding a tailor that can effectively bring in shirts made for hefty blokes is awesome. Great turn around time and customer service.

I had very mixed experiences here. First time I visited, I was charged quite a bit but not an unreasonable amount and the work was well done. I returned to have 2 button holes added to 2 shirts (4 button holes total) and was charged $40 (double what I was initially quoted). The work was beyond sloppy - buttons were haphazardly placed (not even close to symmetrical) and barely secured. I lost all buttons on my first wear. I will not be returning.

I Have brought so many things here, from vintage thrifted shirts to several thousand dollar suits as well as many of my wifes dresses and pants, for a variety of different needs; all of which were welcomed with enthusiasm and warmth from the owners. If and when there is rework required or any issues are discovered, it is promptly taken care of without hassle! Erol and his wife are amazing people with exquisite talent and fantastic customer service!

This is hands-down the best tailoring shop in Denver. They have tailored about 7 of my suits and fixed rips that I thought were impossible to fix, even better than before.They are also super friendly.

Took my wedding dress here for alterations, could not be more pleased!! I had lost 20 lbs after purchasing my dress and they made it fit beautifully. The bust, waist, and hips had to be taken in, but my dress also has a huge bustle in the back that they were able to work with. Filiz showed me what theyd done to create a bustle I thought looked even better than the original way, and made it super easy for my honor attendant to pull it together. Their customer service is impeccable; no one who leaves opens the door themselves. Everyone is personally walked to the door with a smile. I saw some comments regarding price, and all I can say is Im so happy with their hard work; it is worth EVERY penny. THANKS SO MUCH!! =D

Sorry, yes this place is overpriced. I had them patch some jeans in two places, whereupon I was charged 3x the amount I expected, and both have come undone.

The owners are very nice and talented. I bring all my pants to get hemmed and had a few jacket liners fixed. They are also accommodating to your schedule and will work with you on a quick turn around.

Way overpriced!!! They seemed to know what they are doing however they are extremely overpriced! It was a simple alteration on a dress and they wanted to charge me $116.00. I am glad I asked for a quote otherwise they would have just charged me when I picked it up. I left and went somewhere else for same exact work and it was only $38.00. Huge rip off in my opinion! Go somewhere else!

DO NOT GO!!! Took my bridal gown there for a simple sleeve and neck line alteration.. a month of waiting and a bill of $400. Complete rip off for a simple alteration job. Took my gown to a family seamstress whos out of town and said it was an easy 4 hour max job. Horrible and the owner felt no remorse and didnt offer to lower the price for a bride!

Dishonest!!! This place had my bridesmaid dress for 3 weeks. When I picked it up I didnt notice they had not completed the job (I guess I shouldnt be so trusting). They proceeded to let me pay for the whole job and leave. Later I realized the bottom wasnt hemmed and the chalk marks were still on it. I had to pay again for another alteration, plus a rush fee, at another place the day before the wedding.....in another state! They had another bridesmaid dress of mine for another wedding that they also didnt complete and said they couldnt make it small enough to fit me isnt that the point of altering things?

Way overpriced. I had two skirts worked on. The first was brought in 1. The second had a button hole and a ripped hem fixed. Because these were small repairs/alterations with basic sewing required, I expected to pay ~$20. I was overcharged at $70 (more than both skirts even cost)! Although the sewing was done well, I will definitely not be returning.

Great same day service and they were speedy.

I took a few of my work pants here for minor repairs. They charged $8 per pair of pants which I felt was reasonable. They were ready in the said time frame and overall, I was very happy with the service. Parking can be a bit difficult but that is expected with any downtown location. I will be a return customer in the future if needed.

I have been going Erols tailoring for 5 years and they do the best services, quality job, exceptional price and fast work.

Erol & Filiz are fantastic. The nicest people and the quality of the work is top notch. The upper end of the price spectrum ($14 to hem suit pants; $28 for complete shirt tailoring). Now you can get that shirt that is too bulky (but you just love otherwise!) and have them make it fit just right.There is no wheelchair access up front but you should be able to squeeze through the cars to the back door.Ill be bringing all of my tailoring needs here.
