Driving from Alaska to Texas, my Audi S4 fuel pump started giving out with the heat in Denver. Steve invited me to come straight in to run the diagnostic right as they were closing. I reached out to Salta regarding an engine code that was electrical in nature and something that I couldnt fix myself. Ive always done my own mechanic work and was apprehensive taking my car in. I contacted them via the website and let them know about my problem and my concerns. I received a prompt response back from Joseph who was very friendly and accommodating. His communication with me via email and over the phone was nothing less than professional and a breath of fresh air. He explained what might be wrong with the car, did a deeper dive, spoke with me about it, gave me some recommendations and options, and was never ever trying to push anything extra on me. My car is fully fixed and I cannot thank Joseph and the team at Salta enough for their professionalism and wonderful service. I took my Audi Q5 to the Flatirons Audi dealership for a slow oil leak, I paid $149 to have a 60 point inspection. They wanted to charge me $2300 to fix it. After calling around and reading some reviews I ended up going to Salta Services. They didnt even charge me to do their own inspection, although they did do an inspection. They agreed with Audi dealership on what needed to be done but they only charged me $946. It was fantastic! Steve and Joseph are amazing! Theyre friendly and personable and very professional.They love what they do and theyre good at it. It was a pain free experience and I appreciate them greatly! I RECOMMEND!

These guys are real VW specialists. I had a 08 Beetle and I went to Brake Plus and they said theres oil pan leaking and cylinder head leaking, which really sounds severe, and I knew nothing about car, so Im very worried. I basically sent emails to every VW specialists I can find on Google Map asking for a quote, Salta was the first and the only one replied my email(thank you Joseph) asking for more details for accurate quote and suggest me to drop by for a free inspection cuz they want to inspect by themselves. Turns out theres nothing wrong with oil pan or cylinder, it was something else. They also noticed my engine light is on and fixed that. In all, I fixed two parts that caused oil leaking, cleaned one filter and fixed engine light, costs me 950+ in all, though I knew nothing about the pricing market, Id say it was quite worth it since I was worried itll cost more. This place is really far from my address, but Id definitely spend a half hour to come back here rather than other auto services 5 minutes from my home. The only drawback might be theyre quite busy, so make sure you make an appointment earlier!

Amazing work!!! My timing change broke and my engine went to sh!@#. Every other place quoted me over 7k to replace the engine, only one other shop offered to repair it, but for 7k as well. The guys at Salta were honest true professionals, they recommend to see the car first before giving me a quote, excellent!!! I cant believe how well my Audi is running, better than before. The work included more than just repair, they basically gave my engine a complete rebuild and TUNE for 4K!!! Their original estimate was 3500, but they did some extra stuff like new battery, replaced windshield wiper pump, and replace my rear brake light, I mean they put in a whole new cable outlet because the original one was rusted and prone to water leaks...again AMAZING!!!! These guys were excellent! I just went in for an oil change, but they were able to schedule me last minute and get it done same day! I have worked with Martin and Joseph and not sure who else but whoever I deal with is always polite and super helpful. EVERY TIME.They always solve any issue I have with my car. Today 3/3/21 I had met up with Jared and we talked about the issue and I went to another place before hand and they tried telling me that my issue was a serious enginee problem with my timing chain and come to find out Jared has the car all day and hes doing a couple different checks and find that, it not even serious but nothing other then a Solenoid for the camshaft so I was really 😊 that he actually dug in and found the actual issue.. Definitely coming back here

I’ve been trying to find an honest shop to be able to take my car to, and I’ve finally found it.Everyone goes above and beyond and they’re all really nice.I have an 08 new beetle that has 230,000 miles on it, I’ve always been told overly high number just because my car is a pain to work on but I feel that Salta has given me the most reasonable prices I’ve come across.My turn around time was really quick and they were able to look at and diagnose my car quicker than they initially said which was great.

My Audi died in the street 8mnths ago and I had been saving ever since just figuring the repair was gonna be super costly. After searching online through countless websites for my cars new shop I decided on Salta and after contacting them about my car I had it towed in to the Audi/VW specialist shop for inspection. Joseph was the was the ultimate troubleshooter and was able to find my cars malfunction and provided a detailed list of all the necessary repairs and costs for each service. After the repair service and tune-up I went for emissions and passed. I am so happy :) my Audi runs so well it seems happy too :) They even washed my car; it was super dirty from sitting all winter. The guys down at Salta are super smart, gifted mechanics I will be proud to partner with for the life of my Audi.

Salta Service truly sets and maintains a high standard of service, its in their name after all. I took my Audi A4 into them and they were able to quickly diagnose the issue, provide a quote, and set up a time for repair. I currently work odd hours and remain on call, but Salta was very accommodating to my schedule and last minute schedule changes. I have an Audi and went to the Audi dealership they wanted to charge me $160 just to tell me what was wrong with my car which is about a five minute process. The gentleman at Salta did not charge me one penny to tell me what was wrong with my car. He also started with the least expensive repair- which turned out to be a faulty gas tank cap- $47.50.zero labor charge!Like I said this is your go to place for Audi, Volkswagen service.

There are three essential services everyone needs in life: a good doctor, a great accountant and an exceptional mechanic. Salta Service & Performance exceeded my expectations (not the easiest of tasks to accomplish). After several weeks (seven to be exact) and thousands of dollars later at another shop (5280 Motorsports), I took the car to Salta Service & Performance. Steve diagnosed and corrected the problem w/in two days. While diagnosing the issue, Steve disassembled the steering system and noticed a few items that 5280 did not install/adjust properly. Steve properly reinstalled/readjusted as well as replaced the power steering pump (5280 did it twice). I’ve been to several Audi mechanics in the Denver area and Salta is the only shop I can recommend. I take very good care of my car and I expect a mechanic to be more knowledgeable than myself. Not only are the guys at Salta genuinely nice, but they’re professional, extremely knowledgeable and less expensive than some of the other shops in the area. Dont waste your time or money with any other shop. Go to Salta!

The guys at Salta gave me an in depth, honest diagnosis of the problem i was having with my vehicle as well as several other issues they noticed during their inspection. They were knowledgeable about their craft and got the repair done quickly and correctly. I will definitely be bringing my Audi back here for all future services and (hopefully not) repairs.

Great shop, great techs. Came in for a free diagnostic about a weird clicking sound I was having with my B7 A4. Turns out it was play in the waste gate actuator in the turbo. They said the only fix was a new turbo, but that the issue was only an annoying sound, and no mechanical/boost problems. Said they would NOT recommend replacing the turbo, and did not oversell me on anything. Had them do an oil change, and they looked over the whole car to make sure there were no other issues with it. Highly recommend.

Best garage experience EVER! We were traveling cross country and the VW would not accelerate. These guys squeezed us in and made it happen. Honest, fair and great at explaining -they worked on our car for 3 hours but only charged us for one! Remember we were so far from home they could have charged us 5x as much! Nice guys! Smart too. Wow!!! The BEST car repair service EVER!! I got more than my car repaired at a very reasonable rate here... I received high quality customer service unlike any Ive gotten from other repair shops! From first contact until weeks later, the good vibes resonated and continues to ring through for me because I know Ive found an amazing and trusted auto performance/repair shop.I took my car to Salta by referral from a friend. My gear shift was stuck in park and my efforts to fix it werent working! It was also overdue for an oil change so I asked them to do that as well. Steve and the Salta crew let me know that theyd not only figure out what the problem was but theyd also look over my whole car for any other possible issues. Steve was super polite at inception. He informed me of all the things they found wrong with my car and recommended repairs in order of priority. He told me what was needed asap and what could wait with suggested timeframes for those repairs I could postpone. As a woman, who worries about being taken advantage of because I can only change my tires and make minor repairs, I appreciated that soooo much!When I got my car back, it was performing better than when I first bought it! And the icing on the cake.... Two weeks later, I noticed Steve and the guys also repaired my passenger front bumper, which had gotten pulled down by a possessive curb I was parked at!! I picked up a mk7 Golf R back in April and started working with Bluewater Performance (another great VW/Audi shop that Im sure I will continue to work with along with Salta) on some upgrades for the car and then found Salta since they are a Cobb dealer. Salta ended up doing some fueling upgrades and combined with the Pro Tune (via the Cobb Accessport I purchased from Salta) from my tuner in California my Golf R is screaming along nicely on ethanol blends! Still working on tune revisions but hoping for close to 400whp when all said and done! Thanks guys! The car is a ripper!

I am very impressed with the professionalism and customer service here at Salta. I have had a rash of bad luck resulting in multiple issues and multiple visits. I went to get 2nd and 3rd opinions including dealerships and other larger companies and ultimately ended up at Salta. I dont know much about cars or the problems that have been fixed so I called Salta after the fact for someone to explain them to me more in depth. Steve is the one I spoke to. He was so helpful and answered all my questions and luckily put me at ease after a stressful couple of months. From what I have experienced, Salta seems like a honest and knowledgeable company and I dont think I will bring my VW to another shop.

I went to Salta to attempt to solve a number of mystery problems with my heavily modified Audi. Brian worked closely with me to diagnose the issues and did amazing work. I feel that my car is driving better now than it has in a very long long time. I very much appreciate the fact that Salta charges by the actual time spent working on the vehicle. This allows you to take advantage of the efficiency of the service staffs expertise in working on Audis and VWs. They are extremely methodical in working on vehicles and will ensure that every bolt is torqued perfectly to spec and every item is in factory spec or better. Definitely a worthy establishment to take your vehicle to.

Salta has been taking care of my diesel Jetta for years. This car now has enough miles on it to make it to the moon, and with Salta, Im confident itll make it back! The customer experience at Salta sets the gold standard for car repairs. The Salta team ALWAYS calls with a to the penny cost for approval before any work is competed, and Ive never had to pay more than what was approved. They also thoroughly explain whats going on with the car, what repairs need to happen, and what can wait. Plus, they always know exactly whats wrong with the car, so there are no exploratory repairs. They also answer questions whenever I call, and have helped me trouble shoot issues from the side of the road.When the glow plug broke off in the block (due to the fault of the previous mechanic overnighting it), Salta took my car while I was out of town and ordered special equipment from Europe to extract the glow plug. Not only did this save me a boatload of money (hundreds of dollars under what I originally approved!), but by keeping the original header rather than replacing it with a new header (which would have been easier for Salta), its helping my engine run longer. And, their flexibility on timing made it super convenient for me as they worked on it while I didnt need my car.As a female, Ive been treated like an idiot at most car places. However, Im mechanically inclined and understand my vehicle. Even before Salta knew I was mechanically inclined, never once did I feel disrespected or treated like an idiot. And since they discovered we share a passion for awesome cars, I get that same information (because thats how they communicate with all customers) plus longer conversations about car stuff.At this point, I consider the Salta team my friends who I get to see every oil change. I just moved to Idaho Springs, and will still be bringing my car to Salta. While Im convinced that Salta will keep my car running forever (it is a diesel afterall), if I ever get a different car, Ill get another VW or Audi just so I can keep Salta. Their new location isnt super convenient, but I assure you its hella worth it. If I could give these guys 11 stars out of 5, I would without hesitation. These guys are great! Whenever they work on your car they take the time to explain everything that they are doing. I wouldnt take my VW to anyone else, Steve and Brian do quality work at affordable prices. Recently the EPU light kept coming on and causing the car to loose power. They ran the diagnostic on it a said it could be several things causing it. Instead of just throwing new parts at the problem Steve was able to narrow it down to the root of the problem. To top it off he was able to save me some big money on the parts, It is rare that you get to talk to the actual mechanic that does the work on your car, but Steve and Brian are like having your own personal mechanics that you can trust to do the job right. Unusual to find guys like this in this day and age.

Ive been going to Salta for a few years now. All three of the owners work on my car and they always do an impeccable and flawless job. Salta has done everything on my TDI from oil changes to replacing my dual-mass flywheel. When they did my timing belt, I was back in my ride the same day. Not only that, they will pull codes when something comes up with electrical, which does happens often with VW/Audis, at the drop of a hat. I dont see the need to seek any other mechanic in the city when these guys are so spot on and worthy. Go to Salta!
