Buds muffler is no longer in businesses.Google is directing everyone to a new business called Chucks Discount Muffler and Automotive.My grandfather, father and myself went to Buds. and it will be hard to find another place that does such good reasonably priced work.Chucks fixed my car well.However it didnt seem to be too much of a discount, in my experience .Just my opinion.

Really underwhelmed with both their customer service and the quality of the work. Went on three separate occasions and was underwhelmed each time. Initially went to have my stock repaired, which was done in decent time but with poor welds as seen in the photos. Went back, not knocking the quality of the work to have the stock changed out for a more free flowing unit. When that was done took the car off their property to realize the fitment of the mufflers had changed dramatically. I returned to have it corrected which took two hours longer than I had been quoted with both the upgraded mufflers cut up, welded and completely mismatched. I was told they would be uniform and theyre far from it.Given their reputation I expected far more. I wouldnt go back and would recommend taking your money elsewhere.

I originally used Buds Muffler a year ago to install a Flowmaster Super 10. I needed more work done but they were busy and booked up which is understandable, so I ended up using another exhaust shop. Upon inspection, it turns out that the muffler Buds installed wasnt even a Flowmaster.... It was a cheap Chinese knock-off. Attached are the pics of the muffler I had the other shop remove as well as what a Super 10 is supposed to look like. All Flowmaster are clearly marked. The one Buds Muffler installed does not. Yet, I was charged the Flowmaster price. This review will be posted as many places as I can.

From one welder to another, dude you rock! Everyone is very nice. Drove from South Dakota and a classic drop your tail pipe and throwing sparks for us turned out awesome with Bud’s! Great welds! Even hit two skunk coming home at 70 MPH with a low riding car. No damage I am sure because of the perfect job! Lol oh my “Denver” smell! Thank you!

I caught the corner of a driveway curb with our old Saab 900 and pulled the rear muffler loose from the exhaust pipe. I couldnt see what was wrong without jacking the car up, and thought I had broken the muffler casing open. Took the car to Buds so they could assess the damage. Within twenty minutes the tech came into the lobby and said there was no real damage; he only had to re-position the muffler and re-tighten the clamp. He shook my hand and said Merry Christmas. I said No charge?, and he said Yep, no charge. Just spread the word about us. So, here I am.The car is as quiet as ever. When was the last time a shop did something for an average guy off the street without a charge? Pretty much unheard of anymore. Ill be back to Buds for sure. Thanks, guys! Merry Christmas!

Had several questions about a custom installation on my car. Was given a thorough explanation as well as options that would work for me, and visual inspection if my car to explain some issues. So very helpful and thorough staff. Really appreciate it, will be back once I figure out my course of action.

My catalytic converter was stolen and they helped me and took care of me with the price. Ill go back in the future for sure.

One of the cats failed on my wifes Yukon XL. I decided Id pull the whole assembly off, buy a new cat, and have it welded into place. The company sent me the wrong cat, and I couldnt find the right part anywhere locally. I popped into Buds and they not only bought the incorrect cat from me (since it was one they normally stocked) but they had the correct one in stock, and were able to cut the old one out and weld the new one in place with the assembly completely removed from the car. This is an incredibly daunting task with the whole assembly removed, yet when I brought it home, it fit perfectly back on her truck. They were fast, reasonably priced, and knew their business.

Told me theyd look at my cracked exhaust pipe no charge to give me a quote. Ended up being so reasonable that I had the work done on the spot. Im pretty sure most places would have told me to replace the whole piece but they were willing to do an effective welding job to repair it. I also love places that are willing to take you out to the shop to show you what work needs to be done. Thanks much!!!

Took my 59 Impala there a few months ago to get an exhaust leak fixed, they ended up doing to job, but it started leaking again, called Mike and he immediately got me in and took care of it free of charge. That kind of service is hard to come by these days. Very much appreciated!Good service, fast turn around!

I asked for a referral to a good muffler shop and multiple mentioned Buds and for good reason. I called on a Wednesday morning, they had me in by noon and out by 4pm. It was affordable and the work was conducted excellently. They did not try to up-sell me on anything yet used what I had and did an amazing job!! My situation wasnt an emergency except that I wanted to get it done asap and they stepped up and delivered. I will be back and I would suggest everyone to try out Buds you wont be disappointed. Had a dual exhaust system installed back on November of last year and was having issues with the hangars breaking. I brought it in for repair for a fourth time and they pointed out a few issues.... long story short they pulled it apart and put the exhaust back on the way it should have been done the first time. They stand behind their work and if its not right they make it right. This is a family owned business since 1955. They put the exhaust system on the first car I owned and they have done the exhaust system on all the cars I have owned since. Brian as well as the others there do good quality work. Thank

I took my 2013 Dodge Charger RT in for a resonator delete. Despite my findings about drone I still wanted them done, even though I was having second thoughts. About 3 quarters of the way through my decision to have them removed, which was hard to decide because of drone, they informed me that they took the mid mufflers instead of the resonators I wanted. They talked me through why and how many people get that done instead because it sounds better. While I was a little nervous at first because I had never heard of a muffler delete, I trusted them. I got my car back, and they were not wrong! I have heard the resonator delete before and let me just say the guys there were 110% on the money. A mid muffler delete sounds way better and meaner! These guys are the friendliest shop I have been to and did the best work I have ever had. I highly recommend this shop to anyone and everyone. These guys are legit.

These guys are very good with exhaust and are very knowledgeable. If you need any kind of work done custom or store bought, they will do you a solid. I took a Tundra and to them that had a recurring exhaust rattle, Toyota couldnt fix it after x6 attempts. Took it to these guys and 50$ later they welded the whole exhaust system, the way it should have been, and it was never an issue. Theyre prices on exhaust systems for my 08 Tahoe have been as good as the web and they get stuff done quickly and professionally.

Great manager, Im glad i took the time to search for the best rated place and call around. Was a huge help with a full exhaust upgrade including headers at a cost competitive with anyone else. When my parts turned out to be out of spec they were able to come up with a solution and didnt cost me a fortune to fix nor ding me for taking up a lift for a few extra days.

I bought the cat back exhaust on line, installed it on my Toyota Tacoma. I wanted the muffler and tail pipe welded on, went online saw Buds reviews thought I would give them a try. Called spoke with Darrell told him what I needed and that I didnt like the chrome pit on the tail pipe he said he could do something. I gave him the go ahead to do what he wanted. GREAT JOB !! The price was fantastic the work was quick the service can not be beat. The black tail pipe tip outstanding. I highly recommend Buds for any work. 14 years ago Buds replaced my factory Bronco exhaust with a Free Flow Exhaust (Magnaflow) system & it has performed flawlessly ever since. Has now outlasted the original Ford exhaust & doesnt appear to be wearing out anytime soon.Couldnt be happier with Buds. One the best investments ever made on the Bronco :0)

Got recommended to Buds Muffler from a good friend Justin at Bakers Garage, I’m definitely glad i did! Got a estimate over the phone and headed there on the most reasonable day. Took about 3 hours for the work to be done and am very impressed with it. I needed some special work with my exhaust as in it being tucked up out of the way for ground clearance, they suggested the best size piping for my car and how they would recommend goin about it and I’m glad i listened To what they said. Even while i was there listening to how they treated customers was awesome they made them feel reinsured their car was going to get worked on properly. Buds has been doing our cars since 1964, when Bud and his two sons operated their shop on 10th Avenue. The work--most of it custom and some difficult--has been top shelf. Prices for parts and labor most reasonable. A couple of minor problems that developed long after work was completed were immediately resolved. Courteous and professional, I recommend them highly, without reservation.

I took my M3 to Buds after my mechanic and co workers recommended them, i had an aftermarket exhaust that needed a special mount near the muffler. They had a good price and got the job done in about an hour, nice shop, quality work, friendly people. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have been to Buds about 3 times since moving to Denver, they are always super nice, helpful and able to get my car in quickly. The space is big and has a bunch of machanics on duty all the time. Id recommend them to anybody needing car work done. Solid pricing as well!

This place is fantastic! They did some work on my 1982 rx 7, other places wouldnt do (age of vehicle) but these boys handles it. In my price range and in a very timely fashion. BUDS is my new spot for all my cars and suvs. I Highly recommend these guys.

Failed emissions and ended up taking my car to one of those national brand places who wanted to charge me $1,100 to replace my catalytic converter and two O2 sensors. Ended up taking it to Buds just to get a second opinion on the price. They looked at it and replaced one O2 sensors. Said that the CAT looks fine and that I should get retested. Passed with flying colors!! Saved about $800 from the other place. Thanks Buds!!! These guys are legit.

Nate and Josh are awesome to have worked with first off. I took my 2500hd in for an exhaust leak at the header manifold due to a couple of busted bolts... not the easiest fix. The guys at buds got me and my truck taken care of with no more ticking from the leak and the truck sounds like a beast.

Before I moved from Florida to California I spent a month in Colorado as that is my home state. My dad has been pushing this business for years as they were one of the few local and good shops left. Years ago they removed an 02 sensor that was stuck in my explorer. Long story short my Ford f150 has been misdiagnosed dozens of times in 3 different states. Finally someone fixed the issue, I needed new cats and new spark plugs this specific model is a pain in the butt to change and without patience you will break the plugs and cost the customer more money. I saved over a thousand dollars using them and the issue was finally fixed after 2 years of numerous shops unable to give an exact answer. I just got to California and the work they did was complemented so I will always be back when in Colorado. Highly recommend.

Its great when a business stands behind their work and products. I had Buds replace an old Flowmaster muffler and exhaust that had cracked. To save money they recommended a knock-off model that was supposed to be the same. However, it didnt sound quite right. I called in and the manager, Mike, said to bring it back in and theyd put on a Flowmaster for just the difference in the parts price. No hassle, no questions and they did it right away. Thanks!

Bad place to take your vehicle for new muffler. They charge extremely too much. They just charge thinking you dont know what you really are looking for. They charge even for parts that they dont put in your vehicle. Tooked it today and it took all day to put just 6 ft of pipe in my truck. So you know if you want to give your money away. Never coming back or recommending these place ever.

The only muffler shop in denver worth your money. These guys do it RIGHT! If I ever have any other welding, cutting, or general exhaust needs this is the only place Ill go in the denver area. Other places just stick weld everything, here they use MIG, TIG, stick, pipe, you name it. And they use them for their correct application.

When I mad the appointment I told them I would be waiting. When I showed up for the appointment I again told them I would be in there waiting room. after 3 hours of sitting in their waiting room I got a phone call from buds muffler telling me they cost of the work that I was requesting on my vehicle. They where shocked to here me talking in the wait room. After okaying the work I advised them I wanted the new exhaust tip to come out of the back of the vehicle at a 45 degree angle because that is what factory Toyota TRD exhaust looks like. After another 3 hours of waiting they finally told me I was good to go and I paid my bill. I ran to my vehicle when leaving because at this point it was raining fairly heavy and I didnt have time to inspect there quality of work. After getting home I look at my exhaust and find that they actually made the tip exit at a 90 degree angle. Buy this point I am so disappointed in the quality of work that I would rather pay another shop to fix that work and not have to sit for another 6 hours while they fix their mistakes.

Went here to service car after having been upsold by a couple of other places that told me i had a bent tie rod. The tech saw uneven tread wear and told me to take my tire to get the balance checked. Sure enough a weight had popped off. Wish I could have bought tires from these guys but will take all of my vehicles to them.

Told them I thought I needed a new muffler and maybe the pipes (I have a son that drives my Subaru wagon like a high-clearance 4-wheel drive!).Well, there was a problem. My care needed NO WORK! None. NADA. Nothing. And that was what they charged me too!He took me out to look at the car. We decided it was the leaking oil that was causing the smell, but no exhaust problem.Now really, these guys could have taken me for about $500 dollars. I thought I needed service. I never would have known that they took advantage of me because of what my mechanic told me to do.But instead, they created a life-long customer of a women with three older cars . . . and a social media background that will tell EVERYONE how they treated me!Look me up. Cant even call it horrible service because there was no service to begin with!!! I brought in a 2007 H3 to get the Axel seal serviced and an oil change and the truck is making horrible grinnding sounds. I took off the wheel to find that all the caliper bracket bolts were missing and the caliper was just resting on the rotor.... Literally every other bolt they touched was missing and the bolts that were still there were finger tight. Absolute horrible work and employees. 0 stars if I could.

Shoutout to Jordan (and the rest of the guys at Buds) for being very friendly and clear about what my car *needed* versus *could have done*. All in all, saved me ~40% compared to another big shop. 100% recommend here over other competition.

Had a custom catback exhaust installed on my Bronco. Sloppy welds and did not clean off any of the slag. 4 years later and horribly welded mounting brackets have rusted out and fallen off and now I have to ghetto rig the exhaust so it is not drooping and bouncing all over the place until I can get another shop to do it right. I would add pictures if I could so you could see for yourselves.

Went in for an estimate and left with everything I needed worked on done to my car at a great price!! Dont go anywhere else, Buds is awesome!!
