We had been using a previous company for over six months. It was constantly an ongoing issue. We had to call them out at least twice a month because our system never blew cold air. They even replaced the outside unit. And it only blew cold air for about 24 hours. Make sure you call Charles He is extremely knowledgeable honest and goes above and beyond. I wish we would’ve called another company months ago because it would have saved a lot of time and money. Not to mention sitting in a hot house with children. Dont waste your time with other companies. Also Charles and his daughter work after hours to make sure you have a cool home!

Charles is very conscientious, hard working and does quality work. We called him Saturday night. Even with a full load scheduled for Sunday, he said he would fit us in. I called Charles on a Sunday morning at 0730 thinking maybe Google made a mistake by listing his business as 24/7 but it was correct. He answered and was able to come that day just hours later. Charles was amazing. I called him while I was at work around 11 explained my proble. . He freely gave me some advice and things to try to see if that worked. When I got home I tried his advice with no luck. He continues to talk to me that night trying to help me diy my problem I couldnt get it fixed. He said no problem he was finishing up a job and would be out to help me as soon as he done.He was at my house in about an hour and went straight into diagnosing my issue. Come to find out during some remodel work I was having done they cut my power line to the condenser outside.. Charles had me fixed up in no time at all, gave me totally fair price. This company is AMAZING!! Our AC stopped working on April 28th and we started out with a well known company that advertises on TV. They came out 3 times and never fixed the issue. Went with another company who came out, spent 3 hours trying to fix the issue. They ended up deciding to by-pass an issue that he felt was necessary but in the long run, caused the transformer for our AC unit to blow at 10:30 at night. We called Charles at 11:30 that night and he was at our house at 12:06. It took him 2 hours to fix the issue and get our AC working properly. We will never use another AC company again. If you need an AC fixed, call Charles, you wont regret it!

I honestly cant say enough about Charles! I was out of town on business and my wife and kids were stuck at home with a broken A/C unit. Come to find out a board and capacitor went bad, Charles showed her the damaged parts and also fought the parts house because the unit was under warranty but we just bought the house recently and warranties do not normally transfer to new owners. Our A/C compressor fan quit working over the weekend, it was 98 degrees outside and 86 degrees in the house. After calling 3-5 other A/C repair companies that advertised 24/7 business hours and reaching answering machines or being told there were no techs available until regular business hours, we finally stumbled across AC Mechanical Works website. Charles & Chase arrived within 20 minutes of us calling. They began diagnosis and explained they would work from lowest-cost problem to highest-cost problem. Within a few minutes they had determined it was a faulty capacitor, blown fuse and faulty wire (we had landscaped earlier and somehow nicked the wiring). Based on Angies List and other consumer reviews, we expected to pay anywhere from $350 - $425. We were only charged $260 for parts AND labor, on a weekend. This included a 10% discount (which we mentioned at the time of the call, as advertised on their website) for being a brand new customer. Cant say enough about this company. Would definitely recommend and hire again!

AC Mechanical works/Charles was able to fix my problem, when his competitors could not. Had a room in my house that was always several degrees higher than all the others. Air was coming out of the vent, and the vent was fully open. The previous owner even put extra insulation in the crawl space. I was even prepared to pay for a bigger vent and duct. Before doing any new work, Charles reached down the vent and pulled out several old readers digest magazines from decades ago. Problem solved. He could have charged me to install a new duct, and I would have been none the wiser. Thanks for being an honorable person. The room temperature has matched the rest of the house ever since.

Charles is very professional and reliable. I had a tree company remove some trees near my AC unit and they cut the pipe releasing all of my coolant. Charles at AC Mechanical Works is not only very knowledgeable in the AC business you can tell he really loves what he does. He and his staff are very warm and friendly. I just recently inherited an old house that is a fixer upper. It needed the whole nine yards new unit, new duct-work, plus a new room hooked up and they did a beautiful job. Charles built a custom wooden box platform under the unit in my closet so that way it stays clean underneath. He really thinks outside the box and it was a pleasure.

I’m extremely pleased with this companies service. I’ve had several companies come out to see my a/c as I had a leak that would back into my house. But nobody was able to fix it. Instead they would charge me to clear the a/c pipe but never fix the actual issue. I came accross AC mechanical works via google and I decided to give them a call. Charles immediately came to my house within minutes. I expressed the pipe issue and what I thought it may be and he did a thorough investigation to find it to be true. The latest was Sunday evening of Memorial Day after a long (hot) day at the beach we came home to the AC blowing hot air. He came out in under two hours and was able to repair the system (just needed a capacitor).The thing I like most is that he is a great problem solver and always wants to repair the system, if at all possible.I have also AC Mechanical Works come out and look at potential properties that I am looking at for an evaluation/inspection.There are several outfits in town that can’t wait to put a new system in your house and run up the bill. AC Mechanical Works is not that type of company.We have recommended AC Mechanical Works to friends and family and all have similar feedback.

He came out in a reasonable amount of time he checked my Freon levels made sure I didnt have any leaks sealed up my inside of unit so I wont have any leaks from outside air coming inside the furnace he was very nice and knowledgeable
