I walked into the Enterprise store at 2805 S. Federal Highway in Delray Beach on a Saturday morning. I was desperate after the original Enterprise store I attempted to rent from did not have a acceptable vehicle. Chris, the manager, attended to me and was exceedingly kind and proficient and was able to get me into a extended expedition in a matter of minutes. I cannot underestimate how amazing the customer service was at Chris store. I almost felt like I was in the twilight zone. That level of customer service does not exist anywhere. In any event I will only rent my next vehicle from Chris store in Delray Beach from now on. I highly recommend anyone in Boca/Delray Beach/Boynton Beach to use this office.

I unfortunately had an unexpected loss in my family and needed to rent a care ASAP from Del Ray to Tampa. I was able to book my rental the day before with ease and when I picked up the rental the 2 gentleman that were working were absolutely amazing. I feel terrible that I dont remember their names, but I do recall that one of them was the manager of the store. Bother were quick, efficient and very kind.

I would say Kelly and Andre were wonderful and helpful. They couldnt have been better. But Cory mumbled, didnt acknowledge things on the phone, and hung up without saying goodbye. Maybe Im old-fashioned, but common courtesy is important. Maybe Cory had personal issue going in, but so did I. All and all, its a good Enterprise office and they were very accommodating. So Im still giving them 5 stars.

Kyle and Briar from the Delray location on Federal Hwy are rock stars! I needed a specific van for moving my son to college and they made it happen! This is especially awesome of them to go the extra mile when rental car agencies are dealing with fleet shortages due to selling off during the pandemic. Also, when I was at the facility I observed them both working so hard and being so professional with all the stressed out customers. These two are going places....Enterprise is lucky to have them right now!

Came in today at noon to turn in the truck i rented for a week. It was really fast to turn in and to check out. But that where the problems started; I asked for a ride home that is about 4 miles away. The check in guy told me thats about an hour wait, Ok. So I stand in line of about 6 customers, they all getting their cars picked up. While standing there 4 or 5 employees approached me and asked me what am I waiting for, and i replied Need you to take me home So, i stand there for another 45 min. now its only about 2 customers in line. So, i decided to call Corporate office and ask them whats going on with that branch. Then i asked stocky brunet girl how much longer to which i got short and rude reply : You know pick-ups and drop- offs are complimentary, dont you? So basically she told me to shut up and wait or take a hike. 15 min. later I decided to take some pics for this and Yelp review and also asked for manager. A min later short chubby guy comes out and bluntly tells me to STOP taking pics and get the HELL out of his lot or he would call the POLICE on me! Again I asked for a manager and the chubby guys name to which he replied: My name is LEAVE! OK, so Police got called in. In mean while the white pick up truck Ford F-150 that i parked on the lot got rented to Spanish guy with beard, who was standing next to me. The truck NEVER got cleaned or disinfected or even moved from the same spot until they flipped to another customer and before i was able to approach that truck, customer jumped from passenger seat into driver and was GONE! Needles to say I was busy talking to Corporate and the cops who just showed up. BTW, just yesterday I got tested for COVID-19, due to some respiratory symptoms and I was driving that truck while being sick for 7 days! I do NOT have the test result yet( takes 5 days) hope that Spanish gentleman with beard wont get sick because of negligent actions of the company employees. Hopefully that manager will be dealt with, since he has NO freaking IDEA what the manager is and instead of dealing with the customer and listen and find solutions he calls Delray cops! What a pathetic inept loser he is . Enterprise will go under having people like that manage their lots! Cheers!P.S. i will post and update for my COVID-19 test later in the week.

Beware where you sign your contract’ While signing mine I accidentally signed in the wrong spot for additional coverage at $29,99 a day even though I made him aware it didnt want it. He made o effort to correct me. I was not even aware I owed additional coverage until I returned the car one month layer.No phone. manners not with me anyway. Very happy experience with this Enterprise location.. Ive been to several in the Broward County area but none as exceptional as this one in Pompano Beach 1000 South Federal Hwy. Customer Service starts as soon as you open the door you feel a sense of welcomeness as your greeted with a warm hello this continues throughout the visit.. The young lady Rebecca Dorcy that assisted me from the beginning of my rental pick up to the drop off was pleasant, extremely helpful and when it came to explaining and breaking down my rental agreement she was very thorough.. Rebeccas work ethics definitely shows that shes just not there for the paycheck.. I would recommend anyone in need of a Rental and want to be treated with wonderful Customer Service should come to this location..

Staff was friendly when I tried to rent a car today, but left without the vehicle after sitting in it and seeing how dirty and grimy it was. Air freshener was overwhelming in the vehicle, so obvious it was covering some other smell. They voided the transaction and I decided to rideshare.

After having a reservation for two months at the 2805 S Federal Hwy, Delray Beach FL 33483, when I arrived no cars were available. The staff was not helpful in providing information on how long I would have to wait for a car to become available. When I requested to speak to the manager named Foster, he was dismissive and when I told him I would contact the corporate office to complaint about their dismissive attitude and lack of help, he said I was threatening him and that I should stop video recording even though I was not recording anything. Then he walked away completely ignoring me and told me to wait and he would see what he could do.I waited in the lobby for 30 minutes and he never came back to inform me of anything. To my surprise, two armed police officers entered the lobby and asked me to leave the premises at the request of the supervisor. I was shocked because Foster had not asked me to leave the premises, nor had I acted in any threatening or obnoxious manner.Then I realized why he accused me to videotaping before and called the police, he wanted a record against me so when my complaint reached corporate, he would have an excuse.

Traveling for work between my husbands job and mine, weve never had a bad experience at an Enterprise. But weve never had as such stellar experience as we did here with Chris and Andrew today. We were involved in a car accident so our day was sour when Chris picked us up. He was extremely cheerful and empathetic and was just really great making our experience and process smooth. Andrew was also extremely helpful in this process and sharing additional information with us- you guys made our day a whole lot better. There were three other customers that came in and they tag teamed extremely well and greeted everyone as they came in as they assisted us - I was extremely impressed. Thank you for being so quick in picking us up, getting us in the system and right back out!

First let me give a shining review for first class customer service and especially to Harrison Cohen, the manager that was filling in that day but usually work at the PBI Airport. I had a small issue with the car and when I called, there was no even reason for me to explain, Harrison said come on in and we will have something for you with an upgrade because of the inconvenience. I get in and right away there is a car fueled up for me with a big upgrade and Harrison waiting especially for me to come. He gave me his card with his cell phone number in case there were any issues or I needed to extend or do anything even though he was not always at that location. I was beyond impressed. In addition, for my troubles of driving an hour to return the car, they also covered the gas upon return. I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Just learned that sometimes things happen and its how the company you rent from responds to you that is really the measure of their excellence. Harrison and enterprise deserve 5 stars if that is how they treat everyone.

Bad experience. Reserved a Cadillac or similar. Received call 10 minutes before the pick up time of 7:30am advising a Cadillac was not available. I had to be in another city in 2 hrs. The so-called similar car was a Volkswagan Tiguan...which is no close similar or in the ballpark! I had no choice but to take the car as there was no time to call other rental car companies to see their availability. The employee who I returned the so-called Cadillac similar vehicle to had the worse attitude. When he asked how I like the car I was upfront with him. He didnt care one iota what I said. He even asked why did not cancel. Again he gave the oh well attitude to my response. Not a good experience all around

They had me sign for insurance that I didn’t want or need because my insurance company would cover any damages. I was told it could be canceled over the phone. I called and the agent Lisa had a whole different story about the insurance. I looked at my Credit Card and they were charging additional fees that were not authorized. The reason for the deposit was to cover any additional cost if necessary, so why are you debiting my card a separate charge? I had a great experience when I rented back in November but after this, I’ll go somewhere else.

Unfortunately my experience has been terrible and I wasn’t the one who rented the car. The car was for a friend who made a reservation at the Delray location. I drove all the way from fort. Lauderdale just to find out that his reserved car wasn’t there and no other cars were on the lot. Second thing was when a car did come on the lot, it was washed an given to him (it had all sorts of dents and scratches). My friend has a debit card that they would not accept and I was asked to use my card as a payment method and then made the main renter even though I specifically said I want no responsibility of the car being rented. Then said and I quote “If your friend doesn’t pay for the charges, you can dispute the charges” which was very unprofessional and I could see she only had her best interest. I did not sign any of the paperwork because I was not renting the car. The woman then asked for insurance and my friend said he has insurance. She never asked me for mine.The car was returned back Saturday to another location closer to where I live. At the time I was out of town and I get a call Sunday morning about water damage that was in the trunk and some scratches on the car. Not only am I confused but I was told a claim was already sent in and they needed my insurance information. I told them they need to talk to my friend who was the one who actually rented the car, not me. I was then told that the claim department was suppose to call me and find out what happened. That never happened. I called the Delray location and Fort Lauderdale both said I have to contact the other. On top of that the car wasn’t inspected when my friend dropped the car off, he was told to put the keys in the drop box. The car’s trunk was never inspected when we got the vehicle and wasn’t inspected on the spot after the drop off. On top of that it rained all night with the car in the lot. Who knows if the car had water damage before or after the car was sitting in the lot. Now enterprise is charging me over $500 for a car that could have been damaged before I even got it. I’ve never had a bad experience with enterprise till now and I’m likely not ever able to rent from this company again unfortunately because I really do love enterprise. I’m just very disappointed

I went to the location Saturday and had the misfortune of dealing with Chris who claimed to be the manager. He tried to put me in a vehicle that I was told was cleaned, sanitized, and ready for pickup. The truck stank like someone had just smoked weed in it, the truck was also dirty. When I refused to take the vehicle the experience went downhill from there. Fast forward he canceled my reservation, kicked me off the lot, and told me he was calling the police. It is sad when a person that has concerns about a vehicle especially regarding a drug-related odor, that would be my problem if I took the vehicle into my possession, is treated this poorly. From reading these reviews it looks like the Enterprise counter staff prefers dealing with the Delray police department more than they like taking care of paying customers.

I was involved in an auto accident and went to this location for a rental. The rental was supposed to go through insurance but at some point there was a mix up with the insurance companies handling the rental. Instead of notifying me of the issue so I could get it resolved, they charged my credit card for the entirety of the rental. When I called to talk to someone about the issue they were uncaring and blew me off. I will never rent another car from enterprise.

I have rented several times from the Enterprise in Delray Beach FL on Federal Highway and I cannot say enough nice things about the people who I have dealt with. I have always rented online and then when you go into the lot to get your car or drop it off, they are always very friendly and treat you well. The cars are clean and run great.The only issue I ever had was a bit of a wait (about 1 hour) for a car. I received a discount from one of the managers for this and when I went to pay and gave the young lady the card, they didn’t apply the discount. I tried calling several times for two days without getting anyone on the phone so I let it go. Other than that, no issues whatsoever. I would recommend them if you are looking for a rental car.

VERY unhappy with my service from them - TERRIBLY wrong way of going about things. I rented a car from then for ONE WEEK, SEVEN DAYS, SUN-SUN...okay? My agreement states ALL of this as well as their quote and CONFIRMED price. I clarified MULTIPLE times that the price would be $400, and that I would in fact be returning the car to a location that would be closed (at the time of my drop-off)) but that they ACCEPT cars at this time, with NO mention of additional whole day being charged to my credit card because THEY were not open. Do you know how many times I asked them and clarified with them the price of my rental? And now I go to check my account and see that they charged me for a whole additional day because THEY were closed. Meanwhile, I dropped my car off BEFORE the time they told me to and on THEIR instructions and the OKAY to return the car, the whole time quoting me for a weekly rate that they decided to change once they received my car. Literally all because they processed it when they opened, not when they actually received my rental car back. In perfect condition, mind you. This is so wrong. I called Delray Beach, FL location whom I rented from and spoke to the manager, who basically told me to go screw. I will never rent from you guys again and will not hesitate to keep leaving reviews because this was handled HORRIBLY.

HORRIBLE customer service experienced when contacting Enterprise to inquire about renting a car and even worst customer service from the representative that hung up on me.He was rude, insensitive, uncaring, and and provided horrible customer service. Avoid this place like the plague. Spend the extra $3/day to rent from the airport. The reservation started when they called me at 8:30 in the morning to ask me if I still wanted my rental car for 11 AM. I told the representative that I did. They said no problem. I showed up at 11 AM and they had no cars. They told me it would be about a half hour because they were going to get cars from another enterprise. At 1pm they called me and told me they had a 2020 Toyota Camry that they were holding for me. I showed up at 2 PM and they said they cannot hold cars so They had a premium mini Cooper for me. Then they told me there was a nail in the tire of the Camry and thats why I could not get it. I did not want to mini Cooper. This was a waste of my day. Do not bother renting from here. They kindly offered to refund my money, thats pretty awesome considering I never got a car and I wasted almost my entire day.

This is the absolute worst car rental location that I have ever encountered. They never have cars ready even with reservations, their staff is incompetent and there is ALWAYS a discrepancy when attempting to rent from them. What took the cake for me is that the employees who work there are thieves, so when returning a car before you even call anyone to assist you make sure you have all of your valuables. I’ve read other reviews as well that are similar to mine which only confirms everything for me.The entire staff is rude and always unhelpful from the regular associates all the way up to management. When you call corporate there is no response back,I’ve been waiting since June and it is now October.PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND RENT ELSEWHERE!

I use enterprise in las vegas almost every month, I used this location a year ago, went in, the didnt have my car class, refused to upgrade me for free or downgrade me for a cheaper rate. Hopefully tomorrow goes smoothly so I can bump them back up to 5 star review.

Personnel helpful and nice. They picked me up promptly from a car dealer for me to get a rental while my car was repaired at the dealer- for a couple of days. The problem was the choice of rental cars available. I realize that these are crazy times with many people needing rental cars. The first vehicle we sat in would have been great, but had a terrible smoke odor. We really had to take the next choice vehicle, which had damage all around the exterior, including a crack in the windshield. We needed to get a car, with a seat high enough to enter easily for one of us--- so I guess they were limited.Im not angry at them, but underwhelmed.

I had to get a rental while my car was repaired. My experience here was great, I was picked up by Seth at Collision Center of Delray. He was very nice and professional. Once we got to the Enterprise location he got me in a rental that worked for me. After 13 days my car was ready, when I got to Enterprise they were busy but I was acknowledged as soon as I walked in. I was helped by Bria who checked my rental back in and went over my statement. She had Seth drive me back to the Collision Center for my car. Overall it was a great experience, service was efficient and professional, thank-you Seth and Bria.

I rented a car there due to the insurance of the person that hit my car. I returned the car in an afternoon and the next day called about a new shoe left in the car. I was given the run around multiple times. No one tried to help. Then to find out the car I returned went to the West location. Called that location as well and all they kept saying was that they were going to look at the car and call me back. Neither locations ever called me back. I drove over there and again was presented with an attitude. Bottom line is they are supposed to be checking the cars when they are returned and they told me they do not. So they have thieves working there. Be careful not to leave anything in the car. It will become a present to someone.

Did not have the Premiun SUV I reserved with 2 weeks prior and they never called instead tried rent me a different car which was not what I need for my trip. Manager Chris was rude and did not care in solve my problem at all. My son had competition in NC it took me the next day to find the car at Avis not only left me 12 hours behind our plans but truly mess with my son competition which he trained hard for a whole year. So thank you for the problem you put me in due your lack of responsibility and professionalism. It was my 3rd time renting for this location and my company rent at least 10 times a years from Enterprise in Fort Lauderdale. Needed to say they lost our business.

Rented a pick up truck for work and upon turning it in . Had to go back and vacuum because the employees were talking about charging me a clean fee when all it needed was a vacuum . A vacuum ? when they have on site and vacuum every car before turning over to new customers. I returned the same truck to a different location and they never said anything. Definitely not excessive but according to the reps at this location it is. Petty extremely petty is what it is !

My experience with this location in Delray Beach was terrible -- given the number of car rental companies in the area, Id stay away.In mid-November 2019 I rented a car, which began shaking the same day I drove it off the lot, at around 20/30 mph. When I brought it back, staff promptly swapped it for another.Three days later the store calls to tell me its filed an insurance claim against me. When I point out that they didnt even ask me if anything happened, or ask when the mechanical issue started, the staff apologized, saying theyll reduce the penalty charged to my credit card from $500 to $100. I reiterated I didnt damage the car, to which the store manager told me someone from corporate would be in touch in the next two weeks.Gross incompetence, or a shakedown, Ive got no clue, but its a headache. Now Im waiting to hear back from my auto insurance company on next steps.*Update 12/6/19: Regional management responded to a letter I wrote: Good morning Scott, I have reviewed over your rental ticket. I have informed our claims team to shut the claim against you, as you are not responsible. I have also refunded the $100 taken by the branch. Since it was a debit card, it may day a couple business days to reflect back into you account. I have notated your rental contract as well with all of my notes.*Update 12/26/19: Received confirmation from my car insurance company that the claim file was closed, the claim withdrawn.

If I could give ZERO stars to write this I would. On Sunday September 27th I walked to this store to pick up a car that I had booked on the app. Mind you, I am an Emerald Club member and have rented with Enterprise for years. Upon arrival, a kid in his 20s walks out of the store to greet me. Knowing that they do not allow customers inside the building due to Covid, I simply handed him my license and credit card. At that time he asked if I had a mask. I said I did not and that I would just stay out in the parking lot. He then said, no problem he would get me one. He walked back out with a mask but I had pulled my shirt up over my face. (law states that any face covering would suffice). He then repeatedly told me to either put the mask on or he would not rent me a car. I then explained to him that the Governor of Florida pushed the ENTIRE state into Phase 3 of reopening. No fines for not wearing a mask or not enforcing a mask will be applied. To add, I refuse to wear a mask outside. This was an Executive Order by Ron DeSantis on Friday September 25th. The rude kid then said I am not renting a car to you today and walked back inside. This little man is a childish and unprofessional employee of Enterprise. Furthermore, the store is plastered with signs that read NO MASK, NO SERVICE and they make ALL customers remain outside in the 95 degree Florida heat with a mask on. You people are INSANE!!!!Enterprise has lost my business for good.

Manager Christopher will have associates close contracts of sales and open new contracts of sales while rentals are still within renters possessions after speaking with renters knowing they are extending existing contracts for additional days. Fee’s are suppose to adjust out of holding deposits on debit credits on file. When confronted about the situation, he no longer wanted to assist me on a rental the following day where I and insisted on sales to people coming in after me, he even made on gentleman stand there for 45mins and did not give him a rental due to him conversing with me. I than had to proceed to call delray police on this location as well as woolbright for acting assistant manager Marisa. I am also a Silver member and have been renting since 16 imagine how much funds they have been receiving from me. Business lost.

Issues had to be escalated to the director, William, who was actually understanding, professional, and helpful, in order to make things better. Customers waiting for a rental car had to stand in line in the hot sun while the Enterprise staff worked inside an air-conditioned office. Upon returning the rental car, the address on the contract was not updated to reflect the new location. When I went to the old address there was no one there. When I called the rental car phone number, no one answered because it was on a weekend. Luckily, I had the return address on my Uber account. Substandard customer service and operation.

My experience over the recent Christmas vacation was very frustrating regarding my rental. The local Enterprise staff ultimately were helpful but unless their are significant changes in your reservation procedures, I would be reluctant to book with you again. While you took a reservation on your corporate website to reserve a car in Delray Beach, FL. over the holiday, when I went to pick up my reservation, there were no cars available. Why would you take reservations when you dont have cars available. I was traveling with my wife who has limited mobility and suddenly we are without a car we were planning on having to get to grocery stores and the like. Really!!! What exactly is a reservation then. Had I not ridden a bicycle to the local office and been there when 2 cars were returned, I would never have gotten a car in Delray. This is not the responsibility of your local people who, no doubt, had to be treated quite harshly by numerous people who also were turned away due to no available cars. This is a completely disrespectful corporate policy that must change. Take deposits, make customers pre-pay or do something to alleviate this ever happening again. Thats a horrendous way to treat customers. Shame on you!!!

9/27/18- Purchased a rental for two days (charged $280)-Declined insurance. Stated I had Progressive.-Asked to signed stating I’m declining coverage.-Explained $280 included an insurance deposit that would be returned after agreement.10/1/18- Local manager told me to return car they sold it (charged $100)10/12/18- Local rep called me and said current vehicle I had was from another lot; please return (charged $200)10/17/18- Called local branch; asked why I was charged $630. Explained that it was policy to take an insurance deposit for every vehicle rented. I was informed that I would get my money back after car was returned and agreement closed (10 days). Asked for a copy of agreement, I was informed that the local office didn’t have any ink.10/24/18- Returned vehicle asked about rental deposit. Manager stated it was never a deposit it was actual rental insurance. I explained that I declined coverage why did they charge me. Manager stated he never lets a vehicle leave without getting insurance. Watched same manger not ask a customer about “insurance” as I waited for explanation of my charges. Confronted manger about his “protocol” and he told me to stay out of his business, or else he will call the police. Manager stated I was disturbing his place of business. Baffled I asked him, “why call the police if your life isn’t being threaten?” Manager did not respond. Waited for explanation, manager stated he can’t do anything because it’s above his limitation. I have to wait for regional support.ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

My car was hit and needed body work. Went through my insurance for a car for 12/23. Was told by insurance that I had a reservation for that day, which was made a week in advance. Show up and I’m told that the billing was started but no reservation? However insurance tells me that I do have a reservation and they had just spoke to enterprise, but enterprise says no, no car is available. The worst part, nobody seemed to care or offer a solution. They let me walk out the door without even a sorry.
