The 2 guys I dealt with at the 290 Bridge St, Dedham, address were great, Easy to pick up and return. They both did a great job with zero hassle.
More incompetent than I would have believed possible. I returned my car on time and then received harassing robocalls for two days claiming that I still had the car. These people have a simple job, and still cannot do it correctly. Never, ever renting from Hertz again.
I’ve rented from here a couple of times and have always had a great experience. The staff are sociable and the pickup/drop off process was simple.
One of the worst Customer service experiences I have ever received from the District Manager Stephanie G. She was rude and antagonistic the entire time. As a President Circle member, she made me want to NEVER rent from Hertz AGAIN!
Reserved and prepaid for premium Chrysler 300 because of the size. Was given a luxury medium Q55 . Wont give me a bigger car or suv unless i paid double the original rental. If i wanted an suv i would have got it cheeper in the first place. All cars in the lot are dirty. Was told it was full, but when i started the car, it was less than full. Fool me once
I Have Been Bringing a Car, from The NATICK, location, EVERY DAY For The Past (3) weeks, and Bringing A different, Sometimes a Special car, Like a BMW, or Jeep Pick-up Truck for a Speci Request, or for a regular Customer for Long Distance Request to Somewhere further than Rhode Island. There Location Road, Leading There has been under Construction, so ALWAYS a hectic time of the day.

Great location and very easy to deal with. A small mix up on my receipt with how much gas the car had when I picked it up. I called them and informed them of the error (I had pictures to back up my claim) and they did not even need to see the pictures. They trusted what I said. Very easy to deal with as I was in and out. I would recommend this location.
The rep I dealt with during pickup and drop off was excellent! She was personable, funny, and efficient. However, I’m rating low because there was another rep that made a scene with some customer he claimed threatened him and in his tirade he called me and my colleague out as witnesses - even though I didn’t witness anything but his outburst. That wasn’t a fun or a comfortable experience.

We made a reservation online. We called the rental location after we made the reservation only to be told they didnt have any cars. The representative told us he would get is a new car. He just never bothered to call us back and left us scrambling and desperate. Dealing with customer service was a waste of hours. Never again. Avoid at all costs
Got a car from here they gave me a Cadillac which was okay . The guy who dropped it off was pretty nice it was actually pretty much like a brand new Cadillac and it had all the special gadgets which was great until half of the week that I had the car the car started making noises was planning on returning the car that Friday but the auto body shop called me and told me my car was ready but thank God so I was able to return the car but I left my transponder AKA speed pass in the car on the roof of the car I let them know that I left it some guy he said that he would save it for me so that I can pick it up now theyre unable to find it.... I am really upset now Im without it and God forbid if I have to jump on the highway. Dont have any plans on renting from them again.

One of the rental guys was a little bossy towards the other employees, but my rental was nice and it was a great price. They came through while I was in a bind. No complaints really....

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and will no longer do business with Hertz Dedham location. I called to check the daily rental rate of a compact car and the person who picked seem like a new employee because he kept putting me on hold and did not know the answers to simple questions. I reserved online with a AAA discount rate and they did not honor it, however the manager proceeded to give me and extra $10 off the daily rental rate to make up for the confusion. I ONLY rent from Hertz because when I called to confirm that they do a customer drive back option because I had no other way to get to my car at the repair shop. To make a long story short, I was denied a drive back because the employee was more concerned about clocking out on time despite it was 5:50pm. I proceeded to tell her that my phone was dead and there are no buses around she suggested to call a taxi. When she did she did not get through to the taxi company. She was more concerned about clocking out on time rather than honoring the ride back option and taking the extra step in fulfilling customer service when the customer needed help. Instead both employees including the trainee that I spoke to the day before (who did not give correct information) left the store with me and my 4 year old daughter standing outside in the rain. NEVER AGAIN!

I have found this rental car agency a real gem. It is much cheaper than renting at the airport, and the staff is friendly and helpful. This time, I rented a standard car for Thanksgiving week, thinking I would get a Jetta or something similar. My husband was delighted when he picked the car up because he got a Dodge Challenger with a hemi engine for the same price. He spent the week tooling around Boston like a 20-year-old hot-rodder, despite the fact that we are both in our early 70s. The cost of the car was about $180 for the week. I highly recommend this rental car agency, have used it many times myself and will continue to do so.

Cant get through to anyone on the phone tried 6 times. Customer service was terrible. Sat there for 8 mins and no one said a word to me. They charged me twice and kept deposit. Just a terrible experience
I am a GOLD member and had scheduled to pick up a car at 9:30 AM today. I had to wait 1 hour before a representative could see me. Once i saw the rep and had been given the keys to the car, they realized that there was no gas in the tank. I had to wait another 15 minutes for them to gas up the vehicle. Every time I go to this location, there are different representatives. They cannot keep employees. Very dissatisfied with the service. I never write reviews but thought this warranted a post. I like Hertz but will not go back to this location...

Someone left a Hertz Rental Car in my parking lot 3 weeks ago. I can not get in touch with anyone at Hertz. VERY BAD customer service. Please reach out if you want your car back otherwise I will sell it.
Absolutely the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. The website contradicted what the manager said. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Go to the Enterprise in Dedham if you have to as this was terrible. I would actually give them zero stars if I could.

I was assigned Hertz as a loaner car service while my car was being fixed. The agents at the Dedham, MA location (Jordan, etc.) made plans to drop off at my home. They NEVER made the agreed upon times, and then delivered a filthy car, which smelled of marijuana and had a tire with a slow leak. When I tried to swap it for another car, they kept making excuses for why any higher end cars were not available. The contract even lists the nicer car they never delivered! They dont answer their phones, and close before they are supposed to. Roadside Assistance is an absolute joke and non-existent! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Herts is always horrible just use avis or some other company. This place in particular is horrible. I reserved a car and they gave it away and then told me they could not do anything about it and that I had to drive to Boston if I wanted a car and that I would have to pay the higher prices. They are rude and horrible.

The worst car rental experience I have ever had. I was overcharged and then charged over $200 for insurance that I did not ask for!!! Even the manager at the Dedham location was completely incompetent and extremely rude, showing no qualities that a manager should have. I have been completely conned by this company. RENT FROM ANYWHERE BUT HERE. If you are unfortunate enough to have to use Hertz READ YOUR ITEMIZED RECEIPT BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE OFFICE. Dont let them con you like they did to me by saying since I signed the agreement, I must have agreed to the insurance charge at $20.99 PER DAYI can not emphasize enough how awful this experience has been. So not worth it.
