This location openly flouts Budgets terms and conditions. I had a noon pre-paid reservation. The location calls me at 1. He says that he will give away the car and may refuse a refund if I do not pick the car up right away. The Budget terms and conditions indicate that you can pick up the car any time on the day of the reservation before the location closes. This location simply does not care and indicates they will disregard Budgets terms and conditions. Imagine if you had a flight that runs late? Even if you have a pre-paid rental, this locations policy is that if you run late, they can give away your car to another paying customer and refuse a refund, essentially having two separate renters pay for the same car.

For starters try calling the number here and getting someone at this location to talk to you before you even come. Nobody answered? Not surprised. I’ve never had anyone answer in two weeks I’ve been dealing with this place. Took a rental car as a replacement for a car that’s being repaired.I have two kids under the age of two and have to deal with car seats and the whole shebang. After week when you get a notice to bring the jeep back because it’s been recalled. Never get anybody on the phone to confirm they have a car we can exchange for and finally bring it back. First car they give us has a malfunctioning heater and we have to bring that one back. Next one has a cracked window and we have to bring that one back. We then are told we need to drive to Logan Airport in order to pick up a comparable SUV. We do this. It then comes time to extend out our rental and again we cannot reach anybody on the phone at the location. I show up at the location at 10 AM and see a sign saying they will return in half an hour. I then drive to enterprise and get a new rental with fantastic service and come back to drop off this car. I am again welcomed with a out of office and will return in half an hour sign. Instead of renting a car here, you could hit yourself in the head with a ball peen hammer and have it be more pleasurable of an experience. Oh and I forgot the final straw between all those cars they made me exchange for somehow a $250 non-key return fee has been tacked on my bill though no one can say where it was done or by whom and at no point have we failed to return any keys.

I got a week rental prepaid it and I was charged three times, when I called their customer service I was told to send screenshots of the excessive billing and someone would get back to me in 4 hours no one called it took 3 days to get an email apologizing for their error and telling me A refund can take up to 7 business days and they are refunded the wrong card so now I’m stuck with over limit fees. DO NOT rent from these people they lie and overcharge for a vehicle that needed service an oil change oh and didn’t even have windshield wiper fluid. Horrible rent Hertz or Enterprise even Rent a Wreck is better

We needed to rent a 12-passenger van for an event, and a member of our group reserved it at Budget Dedham months in advance. Two weeks before the rental, she called Budget, and she was assured they would have the van we reserved. Four days before the rental, she called Budget again, and she was again assured they would have the van we reserved. Two days before the rental, Budget called her and confirmed they would have the van we reserved. Then, the morning of the rental, they called and said they didnt have the vehicle after all and asked if we could use a minivan instead. Thankfully we were able to find a rental from a different company at the last minute. I will try to avoid renting from Budget in the future, and I will definitely never rent from this location. You have been warned.

Use this location often... maybe not anymore. Reserved a car, arrived and had to be upgraded to a Small SUV. Yeah, better car, but also more gas and fees to extend the rental. Anyway, no one was there to receive the vehicle when I returned. I left the keys at the Hilton desk per order of Budget Rep. I get a bill days later with extra days added on. Now, Budget wants me to “Prove” I dropped the vehicle off at the proper time... Only if I had read the reviews on this location... There is a first time for everything, and this would be mine for Bad Customer Service here..... I think the best way to handle this is ask for the recording of my phone call with “Information Act” Rights so they can hear their own Rep misRepresenting the Company.

Picking up the vehicle was a pleasant experience. The gentleman was professional & courteous. The following day as driving 1 tire was losing air. I went to a gas station & called Budget service & checked to see spare which was full size. Sadly it took 3 hrs for to get someone there. I dont feel was the fault of Budget. While parked the screen showed as 1 tire went to 0 stating, inflate to 32 psi....the other tires were inflated to 40, 39 & 41. All improperly inflated. When returning car days later there was nobody at counter or outside. After 30 minutes passed and another customer came to return, I called main Budget number and as I was explaining for the 3rd time, my reason for calling...a person showed up. It had been 45 mins. Which she said was NOT but 11:50 - 12:35 is 45 mins. Then she said she had to go to another location. Im sorry that she has that job but she shouldve left a note or sign...Something.

This place is very poor when it comes to customer service. I just rent a car there. the tank was empty then I brought the car back half of a tank, they claimed they were going to give me the money back but never did. And on top of that they over charge my credit card 100 dollars. This place is a terrible place to rent a car from. I have to put one star thats the only reason they getting a star from me. Very terrible place . Do not rent cars from there ever. Plus they told me to call customer service so when I did a lady name Leyda with no skills or no customer service at all from the service department hang up the phone on me. Even the company and all the people who work for them are very terrible at customer services. Boycut them so you dont waste your money for nothing.

Very deceiving company . My family was going to be traveling out of town and I wanted to assist them on a rental car. They asked me to book them with another rental car company. But when I came across budgets prices and available with bonus their location of pickup for them . I made them change their mind.They arrived for pickup and apparently budget was trying to make them rent something smaller than originally booked and paid for or larger with of course a price increase!!!!!Im sorry if you dont have the available cars heres a simple solution dont advertise or better yet review your pickups for the day and inform customer if the car they need is not available. very poor customer service even from the manager on duty as I was told.

Scheduled a dropoff time close to closing time. We arrived ten minutes early before that scheduled time, only to find that the employee on duty had decided to cut out from work a little early despite an arranged dropoff - all lights were off and the building was closed. We called the corporate number to see what to do about this, and first they told us that we would have to pay for another days rental because we couldnt prove that we arrived on time. After an hour of unnecessary back and forth they must have pulled the recorded logs because they abruptly told us that we would not be charged and demanded we drop the car at the next city over. No compensation or apologies were made for this waste of time and gas by the manager of either location.

The gas was not full but the front desk person insisted its ok. I was charged $35 when I dropped it at airport with same amount of gas. Luckily I had taken pictures of dashboard while picking and dropping the car. The person who logged the complaint looked disinterested and had to follow up twice to get refund and updated receipt

This was my worst rental experience ever. The prices given was not what I got. To bad I did not read the reviews beforehand. I was ripped off to the tune of $500.00
