I love it. Personally, it’s by far the best gym around. Has everything that I need as far as weights, machines, etc. Additionally, it has a sauna, which is the best for me after the workout

So I set up to come in for a first time visit for the Weightloss program. Had to wait a week to get an appointment that the instructor to could meet me. THEY SCHEDULED ME for an appointment that kinda worked with my schedule so I was willing to leave work early for the consultation. I get there at 6:55ish appointment was at 7 and guess what?? She wasn’t there. She sent me a reminder text at 9:45 am and everything that day. And to make matters worse the people behind the counter were like she left at 3. I will give the staff their props they did try to call her but she didn’t answer. Respect people’s time like you would respect my money if I were to become a member of your establishment.

I tried several times (email and phone calls) to get this business to stop charging me for a membership, and it never happened. I had to have my bank stop payment to get it to quit.

Nice, friendly, staff but overpriced.

I have been trying to figure out why my contract ended 3 months ago but i am still getting charged but the owner is never around, no managers on duty, I am always told I will be called back but never receive a call. No one will let me see my contract (Owner only can do that). This place is a joke.

Childcare is affordable and available.

The facility its self is great. Clean and has a safe parking lot. Some trainers need a little more training on customer interactions and how to be friendly. But other than that its a pretty good gym and I recomend it to my friends!

Started at Decatur location around 2 months ago. My child loves the childcare area, tanning beds or sauna is a nice way to get warmed up before a workout. We go in the mornings and love it!The equipment is great and I love the spin class with Carmen and chuck always greets you soon as you walk in. Place could be a little cleaner but you definitely see workers cleaning all morning!!!Over all I’m happy with this gym!! The childcare was a big deal for me!! Wish they had better shirts, etc to purchase and cute ones!! I would buy!

Ive really enjoyed working out at Red- X thus far. Child care is helpful, good smoothies, and friendly staff.. Highly recommend.

Awesome staff, reasonable prices, 24-hour access 7 days a week and amazing equipment. The place is kept clean. This gym is good for the novice, the intermediate lifter or serious powerlifters. Ive been members for 7 years and will continue.

I signed up for a 2 year plan and told the staff I did not want to sign up again once it was over. It ended and I was enrolled again and now they want me to cancel in person while I am a 4 hours drive away. The gym is continuously degrading and lacking maintenance. Lockers are broken and never fixed, the sauna door is broken in the male locker room. The gym equipment is great and has a lot of stuff to use.

Ive been a member for about a month now. They have a great variety of equipment in the gym. Although I pretty much only use the treadmill, my husband uses a lot of other equipment and is very satisfied. I also love that we can go at anytime and they are never too crowded.

The staff is always really friendly, and willing to answer any questions/explain something to you. Theres a great variety of equipment to use, and a really good array of classes available. I have yet to find myself bored of my workout here.

I think my personal trainer Amy is very good. I tell people how great she is all of the time! Its worth every penny.

I highly recommend Benders Gym! The staff and personal trainers are friendly and supportive which creates a great atmosphere in the gym. The childcare workers are very friendly and interacts with the children the whole time. The facility is very clean and they have a variety of classes and equipment to use.

My kids started earlier this past summer and I started in September. I work on the machines and love it. I am very satisfied with the cleanliness of the gym, the rates are reasonable and the staff is always available and helpful when you need them.

Great depends on what time of the day on availability of machines.

Awesome! I felt like i was in heaven. They had turf, a jungle gym, tires, free weights, and an outdoor obstacle course. The have group classes and childcare. It is everything you want in a gym.

The Benders in Decatur is awesome, the one in Madison, not so much. Dont get me wrong I use both gyms but if you go to the Decatur location you will likely lose interest in the Madison location. The Madison is just to small for my taste. I tend to use the Madison some because it is only 5 minutes from my house where as Decatur is 30 minutes away. Lets focus on the Decatur location for this review. They have state of the art free-weights unlike no other that I have used. They are 24 hr gym. They have a crossfit area, that I dont use, but the area does not infringe upon the free weight area and is entirely separated. The dumb bells go as high as 150 lbs and they have a variety of cardio equipment.Look enough said come check it out, Im certain you will love it as I do.

Really good gym, good atmosphere, equipment is usually working and the classes have instructors that are motivating.

Great staff, top of the line equipment. Just about any fitness program you could ask for.

I do basically all of the group fitness classes at Benders and really love all of the instructors. They push us really hard and encourage us to keep going even when I want to give up!

Benders is the best gym in the area, the classes offered are great and the staff is all very friendly.
