Planet fitness is truly a judgment free zone. They make it so easy to focus on working out. And they have so many options from machines to free weights so you get the workout you need.

Equipment is new, accessible, clean, well organized, staffed appropriately, good parking and cant beat the pricing! Great location!

I am a guy looking to improve his health with some exercise. Im not a body builder, or a CrossFit fanatic, so Planet Fitness is honestly the best choice for me. Its clean, the staff is usually super friendly, and there is a huge variety of machines. Now, during the pandemic, I think the mask enforcement is kind of dumb. If you are going to a gym, then you are already at risk of getting COVID because, well its a gym. The mask enforcement should be a recommendation, not a requirement. However, that is my personal opinion, and I will respect other opinions. Overall a great place to go to for a cheap choice of exercise.

This gym has it all! They offer a multitude of classes and have great equipment. Also offer daycare while you work out.

No bench with barbell free weights or Squat Rack without Assist...

Most equipment was readily available even with evening crowd. Everyone whipped down equipment before and after use.

Had to cancel my membership due to being injured and not even realizing they were open. That’s on me. The manager that helped me today was fantastic and made sure to help with the fees as best as he could since I haven’t been there since this pandemic started. Even got a fist bump. After I get healed up I’ll be sure to come back to this gym!

Very personable friendly staff! Making working out during covid way less stressful. Just moved down to decatur a couple of months ago and today was my first day in this location...much better than the last location I had a black card at up north near chicago.

Planet Fitness in Decatur is modernized and features extras now found in many locations in the country. The staff is friendly, happy to be there, and motivated to motivate the members.I look forward to working out at PF and enjoy the variety of people who train there as well. Great group of people all around!

Love this PF. Just moved here from Chicago and I needed a run on a treadmill every day; since my work hours are weird, sometimes I need to come crazy early-so yay, it’s open 24 hours. I find the staff to be really friendly and helpful; I’m older and they are REALLY young compared to me but they know their stuff. Unlike Chicago, there’s always equipment available. The place is also REALLY CLEAN!!! And I got the “Black Card” membership, the better membership, but still super reasonably priced AND I can bring my Hubby for free! Awesome! I highly recommend this Planet Fitness. :)

The facility is clean and well maintained, the staff is friendly and repairs are done quickly when needed. The membership is affordable and the atmosphere is welcoming. Highly recommend!

It’s a nice clean gym. Everyone minds their own business so you can feel comfortable doing your own workout. The staff are friendly and helpful BUT they will continue charging you even after you’ve canceled your membership. Beware of unwanted charges with Planet Fitness

Enjoy the laid back atmosphere, come in do my workout and nobody pays any attention to me. Staff is friendly. Great mixture of people, older, younger, some fit some of working on it, it doesnt matter.

Everything is clean, the equipment looks like new and everyone that I have encountered has been respectful of others and dilligent about disinfecting before and after using equipment.Theres plenty of equipment. There are 2 areas besides the main Cardio and Strength area.-Theres an area set up for 30 min workout with 1 minute on each machine and cardio in between each.-The 360 area offers another dimension of workout.-The showers are AWESOME. Clean, large, 2 heads:1 Downward & 1 Horizontal.Theres a Handicap accessible shower and theres a private dressing room-The Planet Fitness App demonstrates the different equipment and how to perform numerous exercises. The Staff are always courteous and care about the patrons.Judgement and Intimidation are not allowed here, so its perfect for bodies that otherwise might be embarrassed to workout in public.Also, they have Horizontal and Vertical Tanning Booths, Hydrotherapy Beds and Massage ChairsI love it-Bear

Great first time! Going to the gym is always hard for a lot of us but especially hard for me because of my weight. Im very self conscious but I decided to try it out.... Im hooked!

I go everyday and its always clean and the staff is very friendly. I recommend the black card membership so you can have access to the tanning and massage spa area. For a little over 20 bucks a month you cant beat it. If you want to know more about it, go at night and ask for Adam. Hes a good dude and knows his stuff.

Everyone was helpful, place was clean, and a wide variety of equipment to work out on. Its nice to be able to relax on the message chairs and hydro bed, and the showers were great! The price is awesome and when I go to visit family in other towns and states, I can workout there for free too! If thinking about going, I would recommend the $21 package, you can invite a friend every time you go.

Absolutely the worst front staff you can imagine..... representatives of the company have absolutely no idea what is going on in the organization....Great location! Management sucks! Great idea but this place is not the place to be..Absolutely Overrated!!!Cash cow! Luring individuals money in order to succeed in a climate where they will obviously fail!Poor management and absolutely a poor facility!!! Dont waste your b money!!!2 thumbs down.

If you need an experienced trainer go somewhere else. Most people clean up after themselves. Employee involvement is minimal. Not a great place for free weights.

I canceled my membership this month, but I dont have anything bad to say about this place. Staff was always friendly and those hydromassages were amazing.

Lots of equipment to use, the most of the staff is friendly and seems to be efficient. The locker rooms are clean. Showers could be warmer. All in all a great value.

I didn’t mean all the staffs are sucks but the blonde dude is rude as hell, and one other guy too. I don’t know why they got hired when they can’t do customers service. They need to hire a new manager too since he can’t do his job very well but pretty good at walking around telling people can’t do this and that.Management sucks!

This place is a blessing for people who work 2nd or 3rd shifts in Decatur. I usually go in after midnight on most nights and the two guys that work are very friendly and willing to help. It has a lot of machines and if you have a black card membership the Hydramassage beds are awesome.

Ample number of each type of machines for virtuality no waiting ever!

Top notch facility. But ice cold showers and the workers are always busy with each other or others. Also they said it was $1 for my first month and so far Ive been charged $35 and its been 19 days since I joined. When I called to ask they just said yeah the charges are what we charge. No offer of reasoning or why my first month was obviously more than $1! So beware. Update....I have tried to cancel 4x since joining November. And they kept saying they were too busy to process a cancellation. And there were several in line to join on those days I get it. But now I realize they just needed me to stay on long enough to charge a $40 annual fee. I asked for a refund and they said no. Wont be going back. I thought for $10-20 it would be a good deal. But this averages out to $50 a month and I havent even gotten charged the January monthly fee yet! Ive been charged more than 5x in 60 days and they have an excuse for every charge. If you want to join a gym: whose machines work half the time, but are always available. Who have tons of workers that are always too busy to help you. Whose showers look amazing but are ice cold. That says theyll charge you $1-$10 and instead charges you $50 a month. This is the place for you! In 60 days I have been charged $96!UPDATE complained to management again and the BBB. Theres nothing Planet fitness or the BBB can do unless the workers note your account that they did something wrong. So if theyre rude, deny to cancel, or smack you doesnt matter unless that employee types into your account that they did that. Planet fitness has no liability. Apparently this is in your waver you signed. Just a heads up. I wouldnt go to an gym that takes zero ownership of what their employees do or say. If youre attacked by one you have signed away your rights to any lawsuit. #badbusiness #noownership #runaway
