I took my 2015 Mini in to have my sun roof closed. All service and communications were timely and professional, from start to finish. I was told of a few other small issues that may need attention soon, but nothing major. There was no attempt to “upsell” products or service, which is really appreciated. The brake line on my ‘15 Macan S failed and I towed my car to Sport Motoring since I live near by and their reputation is great. While my car was there I asked that my rear pads and rotors be replaced as well. Since I’ve always felt my brakes had a mushy feel I asked if they could look at that as well. Needless to say I picked my vehicle up and the brakes have NEVER felt better. No longer mushy. Very solid. In addition Dave and the lead mechanic were very professional and friendly throughout the process. Like estimated time for repair had to be extended by an hour and Dave called me to explain why. Ultimately saving me a trip and wait back up to their shop. The pricing was fair. A little less than the dealer. They have a loyal customer now for as long as they continue to open their doors.

This was the best BMW maintenance experience ive ever had. My 650i Grand Coupe runs better than it ever did. David and team took care of my extended warranty claim, got all needed parts and repairs, was professional and courteous along the way. This is THE Shop to take your BMW for ANY issues. We were expecting a MUCH larger repair bill and they gave us a great deal. They explained everything clearly and helped us make sensible decisions about our older BMWs repairs that we needed to make versus repairs we didnt need. They did the work we needed to have done and saved us thousands. We are very happy with them and our BMW is doing great!

Been coming to them since I had my 2013 Countryman the Black Pearl. Now I have a 2018 who I have dubbed “Smokey” lol. Smokey needed new breaks and rotors. The technicians were honest and quoted a reasonable price and even went so far as to honor a dealership coupon towards the service which I appreciated a great deal since we were a bit tight on cash. My brief experience here was amazing. I walked in seeking a couple pointers in what to look for in a used BMW I was hoping to buy. He took the time to address my concerns and give me better insight on the product. Offered to go through the car and identify any other problems at no charge.Feeling confident after the phone call, I decided to take my car in. Long story short, there ended up being a series of problems that Phillip identified and explained to me in detail. The repairs were a bit costly, but the piece of mind and top notch customer service made the investment worth it. I love both Sport Motoring locations(Decatur & Hapeville). I have been a loyal customer for a few years now and highly recommend MINI and BMW owners to check them out. I have never had a bad experience and the work has always been done to my satisfaction. They will take time to educate you about your car, both with improving performance and reducing wear and tear. They do not appear to be out to make a quick buck by charging you for things you dont need (my experience at many MINI dealerships). At the Hapeville shop, they even fixed an annoying rattle in my convertible that had been bugging me for over a year. They did this as a courtesy! They have made me a life-time customer.

Best shop ever just very honest people

My story with Sport Motoring began two years ago after I bought my 2007 Mini Cooper S. Needless to say, I fell for the old man only drive to church on Sunday spill. About three months into my new ownership, I had a check engine light pop up and my car went into reduced engine mode. Since I had never seen this before, I took it to the Dealership. After sitting there for what seemed like forever, I decided to look up local shops that could work on Minis. Thats how I found the number for Sport Motoring. I left the dealer after no help, and called them. They told me to come on by. I drove up to the shop with the lot filled with Minis (Made me feel like I was at the right place). Stacy took my car right in and hooked it up. My car looked like it was on life support. Lol! After the test he let me know that the fault was due to the Turbo going out. Apparently, the man that owned it before me, didnt change the oil like he should have. Stacy took me in the back and showed me the codes, showed me how it all worked and what would have to be done to fix it. Since I had a warranty I got with my loan, Stacy took the time to call them and set up everything. I had never been so stress free to deal with such a large repair. Two days later, I got my car back. Once again, he took me in the back and showed me the parts he pulled off and the part of it that was damaged. Amazing Service! Since they took such good care of my car, I started taking it there for all of my oil changes. Thats when I started to get to know all of the lady and gentleman of Sport Motoring.About a year later I started noticing that my Clutch was getting pretty worn. It was worn when I bought the car, but it was almost all the way out now. I took it back into the shop and after a test drive Gabriel called me and confirmed that it would need to be replaced. A few weeks later, it was back in the shop to get a new clutch. This time for a day and a half, but no warranty this time, but he quoted me a great price. Just as he did last time, he took me into the stop and showed me the damaged parts. I love that kind of service. So I got my car back and it drove like a brand new car! But thats not the end to my lemon troubles..Six months later my car had another check engine light come on! I took it straight to the shop. I got there a little bit before they opened, but Gabriel was gracious enough to take me right in. After an hour life support, they found that the fault was due to carbon build up, and a bag CCV valve. Even though the guys had a lot going on in the shop, they took my car right in and started the repairs. Stacy did a carbon blast on my engine and then cleaned everything on the way out, then put a new valve gasket and CCV valve in. He even made a video of the whole thing and gave it to me! It was pretty cool looking at the inner workings of the little engine. He sent me a before and after video so that I could see the difference. Just like last time he gave me a very fair price!I havent had any other issues with it since then, but I still take it for the oil changes. The people at this shop are one of a kind. Its hard to find a shop where people treat your car like a family member. I apologize for such a long post, but I wanted everyone to know just how amazing Sport Motoring was and is! Thank You!, to all of you, and Stacy for building such a great team! In the words of Stacy Drive Your Mini Like You Stole It!
