Went in for a tire mount and balance. Ordered tires online and of the exact type and size. When I picked up the car the first time the tire pressure light was on and the tires were not balance. Went back again for rebalance and to fix tire pressure light, still not balanced and said I needed to come back the next working day use the scanner to figure out the tire light problem and tires still unbalanced. 3rd visit after the scanning tool 1 tire sensor wasnt working and that the tire light was on when I came in and is quickly corrected them. After they broke down the tire they noticed sensor was MISSING. And then they replaced the sensor they broke and said it was at no charge and made it sound like it was a courtesy but let me know at minimum 3 times how much it cost, which was more then the tire job. The tire light eventually turned off on the way home, but the tire still are not balanced by their master mechanic. When I asked what to do if the tires were still not balance they didnt have an answer for me. Lastly, they overinflated the tires on 2 of the incidents and had to explain where to find the proper tire pressure for a vehicle is located. Also, ran into another customer during the 3rd visit who also has problems with her service

My experience was great here thanks to Tina and the guy in the back. Its actually nice to hear a womans voice for a change in yalls store and she was so knowledgeable! They explained everything to me a couple of times and didnt make me feel stupid. Overall I give them a fantastic review!

The customer service at this location is phenomenal! I couldn’t ask for a better experience, especially considering all of the previous bad experiences from other local service shops. Never go to Pep Boys, ever since about 2 years ago, maybe 3, we had a new tire Discounters store open and they bought all of the good employees from Pep Boys, and the replacements were terrible! I fully trust and believe everything that Midas has told me about my truck. I know I have some issues, and they simply confirmed that that was what it was. I recently visited this location for a transmission fluid change and it made a world of difference on my truck. No more clunky shifting or slow acceleration. Midas did the job and fixed it up for me! Pep Boys refused to touch it claiming it was too dangerous, but I know what I’m doing, do your research and determine whether it is wise or not to change your transmission fluid. According to my book I was about 20,000 past due for an transmission fluid change and I wasn’t doing any major towing so I wasn’t too worried about it, I checked the color and level of my fluid, on top of it being low, it was a dark yellowish color, almost to the point of no return, but I got it changed just in time and it made a big difference! Keep up the great work Midas!

I also have contacted the customer service number and the email as well as spoke to two people at the store each time I’m told they will figure it out and call me back. I still haven’t got a call b be all just yesterday I was told “ I will call Dustin the dm and get This figured out. Meanwhile I still have two tires on my car that needs to be replaced ASAP and should be covered under a warranty both these tires have less than 5000 miles on them and was just put on in March by tim ( store manager atm) after my original tires I purchased was mounted in the wrong direction.

They were very professional and has very fast service. I had to take my one year old with me and they put on Netflix for her to watch while they changed the oil and that helped so much. The lady at the front is so sweet and very knowledgeable in her work. I would definitely recommend this place!

Went for new tires. I was told a price over the phone when I got there it was a different price. So he honored the price he gave me so ok no biggie. I was told my tires would be done in about an hour in a half along with the alignment. This was at 10:00am at 4pm I was called and he told me my vehicle was ready, so I get there only for my truck to still be in the air. Wasn’t able to get an alignment because their machine went out. I was told to call at 8am Saturday which is today he has no room for me told me to come Monday remind y’all that my truck is pulling to the left really bad!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone!

A+ store manager Sarah was knowledgeable and very helpful. They were able to fit me into their schedule for complete AC Kit install even though they were short handed.Very happy with the service I received service tech was polite, and thorough in the job he did, took a little longer, but the job was done right.I would recommend Midas in Decatur, AL

New management team, I believe that the new manager’s name is Andrew. Andrew and his staff are very courteous and professional. If you are looking for a car care center that you can be assured of the utmost importance of your vehicle as well as the quality of repair look no further. This is a complete car care facility. Being in the military for years and relocating to new places it is imperative to find a place such as this. I have a peace of mind when bringing our vehicles in for service and repairs. They seem to offer great specials also.

The staff are friendly and informative! I had a quick diagnosis done on my car and the mechanic explained what was wrong, told me what I could do to fix it, and then the receptionist gave me an estimate for the price. They informed me that I could get approved for a payment plan to help with cost! The lobby has a TV so my kid was entertained while waiting!

Christy is by far the best of the best! Her team of Technicians, Cameron and Mitch are pretty amazing as well! Kept me up to date on my repairs and kept it real! They told me everything I needed and showed me their work. Will definitely keep using Midas in Decatur for all my car care needs.

Tim (new manger) will lie to you to avoid work as simple as an oil change like you don’t know anything about your car or any car and is the worst manager you will ever come across don’t waste your time coming to this location they only have one mechanic who is lazyyyy please do yourself and them a favor and don’t waste your gas or time

I went in to get a vehicle inspection because I just bought this used vehicle. Christy and her team came in and let me know I needed tires and brakes bad. I knew there were a few issues with the car but she made sure to take care of me and make sure I was safe to drive on the road. This location was very professional and executed these services in a timely manner. And they have a snap finance assistantce plan where you can pay weekly. Just have a bank account and youre approved! Go see christy and her team if you wanna be treated right.
