I called to have a recall fixed on my Flex. Very professional on the phone with scheduling. I asked for an oil change also without tire rotation as I get that free where I bought the tires. Oil change for 50.00 is the best price ever! Will return for the next one. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was I parked my car and stood for 5 minutes at the counter before asking another customer what I was suppose to do? He told me to pull into the bay and then tell the people out there. This would of been good to know before I got there. So when they called me to pick up vehicle, I went to the guys in the bay to pick up, he says, go inside to pay and we will pull it around. Girl at counter was clearly not excited.I was impressed someone called me today to see if my car was running good after service.

Slight mixup with an airfilter, which was fixed quickly (within a few hours), we flew in to buy a truck, it is just as promised (minus the backwards air filter 🤣 now fixed)Owner below must not have realized I bought a F250 Superduty off the lot... Your mechanics that check over used vehicles need to do a better job. I am very pleased with my truck, and I had a great experience with your sales men and finance guy. IDK if we will be back for service, its a bit of a drive.. but we appreciate Lynn Layton for getting us our dream truck !!

I had a great experience with Austin at Lynn Layton. My 2021 Mach-e came in earlier than expected and Austin called me as soon as he knew to let me know it was ready to pick up. All the application information was done online, so it only took 15 minutes to sign the paperwork and drive off the lot!
Went for a battery replacement, They replace the battery and dont put the battery hold-down bracket back on, go back and ask for them to put it back on. They put it back on with only one nut (it takes two nuts)....never thought Id have to check behind a dealership mechanic to make sure things are done right. I just went to Autozone and bought a new nut to fix it myself. I will never go back to this place since they cant handle a simple task.

I had been searching for a new truck for some time. Most dealerships add-on hundreds or thousands of dollars worth of accessories and services (like fabric guard) that are way over-priced and that I dont want. Lynn Layton Ford was different! They only had 2 add-ons totaling $250, both of which were fair and reasonable. They also have $0 doc fees, which saved me between $399-$899. They were fair, honest, and easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend them if youre in the market for a vehicle.

For a Motorcraft synthetic oil change with Motorcraft oil filter plus a tire rotation and vehicle inspection for $60, it cant be beat. 5 Stars if I didnt have to drive to Decatur from Huntsville but the drive isnt as bad as I had originally thought it would be.

To be upfront, I would not have rated this dealership 5 stars had they not gone the extra mile to take care of me, but they did.I was working with Shane and we negotiated a deal online. When I arrived to the dealership they initially showed me the wrong car--VINs did not match with my paperwork. To be fair, both vehicles just arrived and they were working diligently to complete the pre-sale inspections to get them on the lot.After locating the correct vehicle, I identified a couple of scratches that needed fixed and a crossbar that was loose/had a missing a part. Not what youd expect on a brand new vehicle, but this isnt the end of the story.The dealership swapped out the inside panel that had a scratch, worked on the exterior to make the minor defect significantly better, quickly fixed the crossbar issue, and then offered me a substantial amount off the price of the vehicle as one of a few options to settle things. They were also willing to foot the bill for me to take the vehicle to a local dealership and have the bumper replaced, which I also considered. I drove in from out-of-state, so they did whatever they could to make things right.This initially bad experience turned out to be a really good one because the people there took such good care of me. Shane was great to work with and never tried to force a deal--as he says, vehicles sell themselves--hes just there to provide info. Kelly, the GSM, was also willing to do just about whatever it took for me to drive off in that new car. I really appreciate the high level of customer service this dealership provided.I would recommend this dealership and will be calling them back to do business in the future.

I called and told him what I was looking for and he took care of everything. I was coming from out of state and he made sure that all I had to do was sign a few pieces of paper and I was in there and then heading home in a brand new ride. Might have taken me 30 minutes tops. Yesterday went to my batteries replaced cause they they are leaking I am informed I have a 4 week wait to test my charging system thats b.s. its garbage batteries only 3 sets in 3 yrs cause they leak... I figure I would be high on the I spend alot of $$$$ on services an so on time for a change and a different dealership
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Austin Craft at Lynn Layton Ford. From halfway across the country, I found a car online that met my criteria, listed on cars.com. When I contacted Austin, his first response set a very high standard (which he maintained throughout) for honesty and for treating me with respect and consideration. He answered all of my specific questions about the vehicle, sent me photos on request, kept me informed as the car was reconditioned (both mechanically and cosmetically), etc., etc., etc. He even referred me to a shipper who was able to beat the other quotes I had gathered, and who delivered the car on time and in perfect condition. The car itself is everything it was represented to be, which is saying a lot! I cannot think of the last time I was so fully satisfied in every way when purchasing anything. Austin really distinguished himself with his thoughtful, reliable, and courteous customer service. It would be too much to wish that every car dealer could offer this kind of experience, but to steal an advertising line from one of the online car buying apps, this is how car buying was always meant to be.

Everything was done over the phone and Internet all I had to do was go in and sign the papers and drive off in my new vehicle. After three tries, I got my glove box repaired. It came from the factory misaligned and would not close enough to push the light switch to the off position. The first two tries resulted in the same issues, the third time it was repaired but it still didnt look like it was closed. Looking at other trucks, my truck glove box did not look like it closed all the way. I just gave up and accepted the results.

Went to Lynn Layton Ford Decatur for truck purchase. Customer service is superb and every service staff member was friendly, helpful, and courteous. Our service manager was Rusty McDonald. We told him the model, make and even the color we preferred. He immediately knew what truck inventory he had available to meet our needs. We went to the lot and were pleasantly surprised that not only did he chose the one with all the features we wanted but it was the color we preferred! We decided to take it for a test drive. During the drive Rusty was extremely helpful - showing us features on the truck that probably would have taken us months to find on our own! His helpful hints regarding features let us know too that he knew his automobile features throughly. Rusty nailed it in narrowing down our dream truck but more than that he was courteous, very friendly and extremely helpful. We decided on a price and he drew up the sales contract. He sent our truck to service for cleaning and a fill up while paperwork was completed.Every step of this purchase, working with Rusty, was professional and extremely pleasant. We highly recommend Rusty McDonald at Lynn Layton Ford Decatur.As a footnote, we visited MANY automobile establishments to compare and make our decision. Ive gone here six times over the years to get vehicle services done. Here is why I recommend them, and why I think you should avoid them::Pros- They are a Ford Dealership so they service Fords and know what they are doing. They use the right oil and parts, and arent going to break your car doing simple things like an oil change like businesses with lower standards do.- Service is usually quick.- If theres a recall part, theyll install it then and there.- Staff are professional.Cons- Their service scheduler tool on their website doesnt seem to work and is pointless anyways because you can just drive in and get services done. Oddly my quickest service time was the day I didnt schedule an appointment (25 minutes).- I had to wait for over 3 hours one time because my car had a recall for a fuel pump issue, and they didnt tell me why it was taking so long until after they finished. If they just explained the recall/safety issue I would have been fine.- The other times were around an hour each. Not bad I guess...- Their scheduler doesnt take holidays into account. Example is July 5th 2021, I had an 8:30 appointment scheduled and was going to wait there. Got there at 8:10. They should have been open at 7:30, but there were cars dropped off outside and in the garage and no one was there. I waited until 9:10 before leaving with not a soul in sight. No notification or warning that the holiday would mess with the hours or anything so I wasted a few hours of my life driving to/from there and waiting...I will be having an appointment scheduled for this Friday. Hope it all goes well. That or Im not recommending them to anyone anymore.

His vehicle died and we were having trouble finding a replacement we could afford. I had driven a saturn for several years and was delighted to find one at Lynn Layton Ford. It is an older model in excellant condition and low mileage. Insurance is cheap, tags are cheap, gas mileage is great. The people at Lynn Layton were great to work with.

Purchased a used 2015 F250 from Lynn Layton Decatur. I understand buying a used vehicle As Is is buyer beware. But, buying a 30K plus used vehicle one would expect all systems to work properly. This is the main reason I purchased from a large dealership(Lynn Layton Ford). This is not the case. Had vehicle for approx. 2 to 3 weeks and the AC/heating system did not work properly(low volume of air coming from vents). Again, one would expect a large dealership to check ALL systems prior to offering vehicle to the public. Long story short, a month at dealership maintenance department I had to come up with 1000 to fix an AC problem that should have been addressed when the dealership did their preowned inspection.
Ordered a part, and it was the right part. Thumbs up.

Mr. Robert Woods was fantastic! He did every thing he said he would do. He made it known he was there to work for me. I could have got the same vehicle for cheaper at another dealership, but it was his professionalism and personality that made me want to give him the sell. There were also 2 other salesmen that spoke to us every time we went in that made it that much of a better experience.
I found the truck I was interested online and visited the dealership for a test ride. Robert Woods was my salesman and he was really easy to work with. There were a couple things I asked them to do before buying the truck and they did! The price was right too, just on the low end of the KBB value. Robert had a lot of good stories about Ford F-150 trucks. I really like the truck, it looks and sounds awesome! I had an old 2003 F-150 and I am glad I stepped into the 2020s with this truck. You need to get yourself one if you dont have one already and ask for Robert Woods.

First off, I’ll say that I got a great deal on my vehicle and we are loving it! The exact vehicle I was looking for showed up on their website with no picture or description. However, the description and options were exactly what I was looking for and I didn’t want it to get sold before I had a chance. I contacted them to ask for some pics and the price they would be asking. Since I live almost 2 hours away, I couldn’t just drive over and take a look. I got a response to my message just thanking me for my interest and saying they would follow back up. Several messages and a week later, I was still waiting. After threatening to take business elsewhere, I finally got the information I was begging for. I didn’t think you ever had to beg car dealers for contact and information. Then, sales tried to pressure me into filling out a credit app to hold the vehicle. I ended up buying the vehicle, as suspected, when I saw that it was what I wanted. It is a certified preowned and is supposed to Include all original parts. During the test drive, it had paper floor mats down. After I got home, I realized that the front floor mats were missing. I immediately contacted my sales person and he said he would check in clean up and if they weren’t there he would get some sent to me. We talked a few times and every time he was going to look for them immediately. Every time, I’ve never heard back. 6 weeks later I’m still waiting on him to find the floor mats or get some for me. I’ve quit getting a response to follow up now too. I suspect I better buy my own now....Not the best experience, but not the worst either thanks to the vehicle I was able to get.Update: Jeff Layton reached out to me and apologized for this situation. Also, advised that the sales rep was no longer at Lynn Layton due to other issues. He quickly made things right and got new floor mats to me within a week. Did not have any pressure by our sales rep. He was very knowledgeable about his product. He helped sync our phones to the vehicles and educated us on the functions our vehicles were capable of. The finance manager was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful with our gap insurance and warranty information which we purchased both. Very pleasant buying experience and would recommend Daniel Tousey and Rick Stackhouse to everyone.

Very friendly staff. Not pushy at all. Came in for a used truck, and the salesman (Chris) was very helpful in finding the one I wanted to look at, and let me come back later to work the sale and trade in. Nowhere near the Gotta make sales style I got in some of the dealerships in Huntsville. Will definitely come back if we need another car. Prices were fair as well.
When we drove onto the lot and there was a gentleman about to go into the building(it was very cold 27 windy degrees)who came up to our car and asked Is anyone helping you or can I be of help? His name was Jason Godsee and he was amazing .We told him about having a wreck and totaling our car .We told him what we thought we may want and he went inside brought keys back all the while keeping me out of the cold as much as possible .We bought the second car we drove .He was very interested in what we wanted in a car making the purchase an easy and an amazing experience.
