AAA is not honoring their own ad campaigns. We joined 2 weeks ago on an ad that promised you could enroll 2 additional household members to the primary account free of charge for the year as well as get an additional 2 free months membership added to the year, if you allow autopay. Low and behold I receive a bill in the mail today asking for $29 more for adding the 2 household members. Customer service rep agreed about the promotion I joined under, but was powerless to honor the terms of it. I canceled the membership immediately.

Battery went dead at Decatur, AL Court House…long time AAA MEMBER so called AAA-told me service was on the way-30 minutes later still no service-called AAA a second time. 25 minutes later, nothing. Ended up having to have my wife drive from HARTSELLE with battery cables. POOR SERVICE for a service call to a downtown location.

I didnt physically visit. But AAA roadside assistance is the best investment Ive ever made! Especially since between my wifes car and mine, we have about 450,000 miles.

I needed routing directions with maps because I was not familiar with the area. I was able to pick up the books and maps the next day. Just walked in the door and picked them up. No hassle no wait.

I got Homeowners and Car insurance policies after being quoted great rates. The next year my premiums went up. The year after that they increased my rates again. At that time my Homeowners rate had DOUBLED from where I started. I had NO claims. I called them and they couldnt give me a reasonable reason and did not care to help me. I went to Alfa where my rates were cut in half and stayed that way.

Once upon a time you could request a tow service and they would get there in a reasonable amount of time. Now they send whoever they want to send, and that service may be 2 towns and 45 minutes away.

Great service, definitely a good investment.

They lure you in with cheap rates and triple them within 4 years. They increased my homeowners and auto insurance over $4,700 in four years with zero claims filed. Screw AAA! They also do not participate in the the insurance database that other insurance companies contribute to, to verify you have been insured, which increases the time you stay with them until they contact your new insurance company for the verification.
