I would not recommend working here. They lie about how much u get paid. The signing bounced is a lie u got to wait until 1 year instead of 6 months.
AAA member; I received a tow from United Towing at about 4:30 am. The driver arrived on time, he was able to safely get myself, as well as my vehicle out of a bad area. The driver handled my vehicle with care as he loaded her onto the flatbed. He drove the tow truck in a professional manner. I felt safe the whole ride to the repair center. Thank You United Towing..
We made the call at 11:35pm because of flat tire was told within a hour they would be on-site. We waited two hours called then back and no answer. We ended up calling another towing company at 2:55am they showed up at 3:20am and United towing still hadn’t showed up at 3:35am when we was loaded up and leaving finally. It was very unsafe setting on the side of the interstate with cars going 75mph rocking our vehicles. I would not use this company for anything ever again a total let down.
Jordan came out after I ran over a nail and fixed me up! Changed out my tire with my spare and was a great conversation and professional while doing so. Hats off to Jordan!
This company refused to take our tow even though they are a AAA provider and AAA called them. They still denied it. They said they told AAa they were to busy...but told me they had shorter runs that they could take. They didnt want to drive the 83 miles that was needed. I think it is poor customer service for a company to sign a contract with AAA and then not honor that contract because of easier runs. I do not recommend them and hope to never have to use them.
Waited all day just for them to cancel on me. I was actually told they dispatched a driver and he would be there within 90 minutes. After a no show in 90 minutes I called twice and got no answer. 15 minutes later I was called back and told they no longer had a truck to come to me. This was set up through Triple A. I 100 percent do not recommend this company. I was told repeatedly that they would get my car towed today and they failed. Since it was a claim I’m sure they chose to cancel my tow and go with the highest bidder. Companies like this will never be trustworthy. Wasted my entire day and took off work. If you don’t have time to waste do yourself a favor and go with another company. Dispatchers were very unprofessional and didn’t care at all about my situation.
If you want to get your car lost, dropped off at the wrong location then call this business. If you want to be spoken to by a rude customer service lady then call this business. If you want to get lied to and you enjoy spending your day on the phone speaking to truck drivers and chasing the manager then call United Towing. Being so bad at almost every aspect of this business, I wonder how are they still in business but I am sure they will not be very soon.
Im a Aaa member and needed a tow was told the driver would be there in 90 minutes waited over 4 hours for them to finally show. No communication from the company about the longer wait when I tried to call their office no one would answer the phone. Then when I finally got home the office called and the lady was a little rude when I mentioned my long wait time . When I called aaa and mentioned what tow company it was I got the same response as to why it was taken so long it was how the company operates. I will never use this company again and direct others to not use them as well. The driver told me they are losing accounts all the time. If there was a option for zero stars thats what I would pick
I called AAA and they were sending this company out. They said they would be there in 20 min. I watched the map of the driver and he went back and forth and stopped multiple times and then said he arrived. He never showed up. I called him and he never answered. After 45 min he called and said that because I, the AAA cardholder, was not with the vehicle, he would not pick me up even though I had given the name of the first responder who would stay in my vehicle as it wasn’t safe for 2 women on the side of I-75. They continued to refuse to pick up my vehicle. They told me to call AAA. They wouldn’t call to verify. I have been waiting for 7.5 hours for a tow. This is poor service. She was told by AAA this was a priority call as the police needed the vehicle off the road. She didn’t care. This is no kind of service. When I challenged her, she hung up on me.Update: dispatcher lied to me. Driver told my first responder that she told him that he didn’t have to pick up the car until morning because I wasn’t with the car. She said she had no knowledge of me not being with the car, that’s why I needed to call AAA. I guess you should tell your lie to your driver to cover for you if you don’t want to get found out.
Jessie was extremely friendly and courteous he even followed up calling me to let me know my vehicle was dropped off. Excellent customer service! Thank you!
I used this service to tow me after my tire rod rusted off. When my car arrived at the body shop they informed me no key was dropped off (i left just the car key with them because i had to get to work). I called AAA who uses United as a third party and they got in touch with the driver who claimed to have “never gotten a key”. I have witnesses and dash cam footage of him receiving my key. I will be pressing charges and pursuing legal action. Cancel your membership with AAA for they handled this situation with distaste as well.
THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR CAR! CALL ELSEWHERE. PLEASE READ.The driver arrived at my house about 30-45 minutes beyond scheduled arrival time. Tow truck driver was surprised that my wheel was off even though I let them know beforehand and he was hesitant towing it but reassured me that everything would be okay and stated that he has been in the business for 20 years and knew what he was doing. Tow truck driver began to unsuccessfully tow car using a jack on the front side while pulling it on the bed of the truck simultaneously. At this point the car had no ground clearance and the bottom of the car was being dragged on the driveway while I was observing that parts were being shifted and breaking. These parts included the sway bar links that bent in half, left front axle shifted and bent, left lower control arm and ball joint were tweaked and the left front backing plate was damaged the transmission oil pan was also damaged and dented. At this point - I asked the driver to stop and call for help because I was not confident in his work and he responded with an insult asking me how old I was and told me that I am a girl and did not know how cars work. After 2 hours of struggling to get the car on the bed of the tow truck the driver would not let me drive with him to the auto shop and told me that I needed to get a ride there even though I did not have one and I reminded him that when I called for service I requested I would be riding with the driver to the auto shop. After 10 minutes pleading to the driver to allow me drive with him as originally requested and agreed upon he finally agreed but failed to let me know that we would be making a stop and then took me on another service call with him in Pontiac for a different customer. After a 20 minute detour we were finally on our way to the Auto Shop but as a result of the time it took for my vehicle to be put on the truck and the detour we arrived late and the auto shop was closed. I let the driver know that the owner of the shop requested that we put the vehicle in the back of the shop, however, the driver felt that he would be blocking the garages and made his own decision to leave it in the front blocking the entrance of the shop and some gas pumps. We asked him to leave it there and get the job done right but he did not oblige. The driver pulled up to the front of the shop and again struggled to get the car out of the bed of the truck causing more damage to the vehicle as he was loading it off.(SEE ATTACHED BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS; UNABLE TO UPLOAD THE VIDEO I HAVE RECORDED ON GOOGLE)The next morning I received a phone call from the owner of the shop asking to re-tow the vehicle to the back. I called the towing facility and requested that they send someone out again to place the car in the correct position The tow company refused to go back and finish there work but left me with thousands of dollars worth of additional damages that initially did not need repaired but were caused by the incompetent driver.I HAVE PLEADED WITH AAA TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST THIS FACILITY AND I WILL CONTINUE TO FIGHT FOR THE DAMAGES CAUSED. I WILL PUSH FORTH A LAW SUIT IF I DO NOT HEAR BACK.PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND TIME. TO THIS DAY I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY COMPENSATION OR APOLOGY FROM THE OWNER BUT INSTEAD HAVE BEEN LEFT WITH A HUGE BILL TO PAY. THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT EXIST AND NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN.
Absolutely wonderful experience! My driver was maybe the sweetest person Ive ever met in my life! She was bubbly and pleasant and extremely reassuring! AAA said I originally had an estimated wait time of 2.5 hours. The dispatcher called a few minutes after I received the text that they were the company signed to the job, and the dispatcher was very empathetic and positive! She said that this was the quoted potential time, but that they would do everything they could to not take 2.5 hours. Although, I really made sure to let them know that I was fine with whatever they needed to do. I am safe and warm in my own home. But they definitely followed through! It was only about an hour! The level of urgency, empathy, and compassion portrayed this evening was refreshing and just what I needed in a stressful and exhausting situation. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!Oh! I suppose I should share about the actual quality of her work, lol. She was able to get my car out of an apartment complex parking lot with no problems. Very obvious that she was highly skilled and experienced! She is exactly who I would want to handle my vehicle in any future situations.
This review is IN NO WAY about (DEVON), the driver that CAME TO MY RESCUE, after waiting 4 HOURS for a tow! No update was given until my THIRD time calling AAA every hour on the hour! The dispatcher was not so nice and I don’t appreciate the company having people call me to ask questions about the “DRIVER” (who was very professional and did everything right) and not the “COMPANY” that gave horrible service!!! So then the young lady had the audacity to tell me to MAKE SURE I give the exact same review to AAA because if I don’t, AAA’s rating will go against the driver!!! Oh Really??? What she didn’t know is that I’ve ALREADY called AAA and trashed UNITED in their review!!! #HowBoutThat #NoNeedToCallMe
Used them through AAA. Great services, will recommend for your towing needs!
Theyre great if you want someone to tell you that theyre coming to get your car. But not so great if you want anyone to actually come and get your car.
Great friendly service. Drivers are professional
Through AAA, United Towing was contacted to tow my car to Bill Brown Ford. It has been a week and no one knows where my car is. No one from United Towing or AAA cares. They told me to call the Police. They should be looking for my car since they lost it! Poor service and very poor follow-up from AAA.
It took them hours to come out. They said their driver was 10 minuets away. For over a hour and when I called they said they didnt have a driver coming to me yet.
We were told the driver would not arrive until 12am it was 8:30pm when the call was placed by AAA the gentleman at AAA said call united see if you can leave key under matWe called United several times all calls went to voice-mailWe left to drop off equipment and then returnUnited showed up while we were goneHe said I will wait 10 minWe came back he left to go to another runGuy at United the only option you have now is call AAA and put in another callCould United provide us with more poor service at 10 pm 😕 maybe crash into the car...smh
Very professional and timely. Would call again
Waited 2 hrs for a tow truck to arrive, only for the driver to inform me she couldnt tow my 3500 chevy Silverado. She said another truck would arrive soon, but 1 hr later I called for an ETA and they failed to call me or aaa and let us know they couldnt tow my truck. By the way I was stranded in a bad neighborhood.
I placed a service call with AAA on 6/26 at 2:30 am because my car got flooded. I called AAA 4 times for a status update, and was finally told by AAA that United Towing canceled my call on 6/27 at 6:00 Am.
Truck arrived an hour early and I needed a battery. The battery was cheaper than the auto supply places and comes with a great warranty. The tech explained everything to me and was very professional and friendly. And the whole repair only took 10 minutes!
Bad hygene didnt want to do his job and dispatcher has an bad attitude and really needs another job not talking to people
Use the service through AAA for a vehicle lockout. Their dispatch called almost immediately to confirm the location. 5 minutes later had a. technician on site. Nader was very polite and skilled he got the van open immediately. Very impressed
I havent used them for towing. What i can say is that when my severely autistic 6 year old son ran from my house today this driver put his life on the line and ran into the road to catch my boy and bring him into the gas station to be safe until i could catch up. I will 100% request united if i ever need tow services in the future
I used for AAA and the service was horrible, they said the couldnt find the vehicle and when called the service number the female who answered was so rude, I will never use them!
BEWARE! Worst tow company ever. Their dispatch is very rude and unprofessional. I can’t believe AAA would use such an awful company. I’m sorry for whomever has to use their services.
My truck is parked the wrong way they lied to AAA changed the time several times horrible service
They are the worst company they girl that answers the phone don’t care the drivers don’t care the owner don’t care they just want to milk u and for ur money and make u wait 4 hours with no help or anything they was saying on the phone
Excellent service twice in a week. One call was the fastest AAA road service ever in 30 yrs!
My car was parked on the street in a residential neighborhood in Detroit. The tow truck driver was unable to properly latch the vehicle that was being towed and it rolled back on to my car. I want to say that I am not making this post because of the accident as the driver was extremely professional despite the circumstances. This review is in response to the lack of follow up from the owner/manager of United Towing Inc & Auto Rescue of America Inc. I called multiple times with no response other than to say that they were extremely busy. This is upsetting because they didnt care about the safety/well being of their employee or mine. Very bad business!! Im not sure if I would have been treated differently if I wasnt in the City of Detroit.
Had to call AAA when my tire blew out on the freeway. They dispatched United and within 15 minutes Carlos arrived to my location. Most friendly and helpful tow truck operator I have ever had the pleasure of encountering!! He had my tire changed out in under 10 minutes AND as we were going our separate ways I witnessed him help out a man down on his luck on the corner of 94 and van dyke. Super awesome human being—thank you Carlos!
Called AAA and they attempted to dispatch these clowns to my broken down car. The guy marked arrived and said he was at my location but yet he was no where near my veichle location on their service map. To top it off he claimed he called so he left back to the shop. I was stranded for hours. DO NOT RECOMMEND
Terrible experience with this company on multiple fronts. AAA dispatched for battery service and a tow. Battery service came out, correctly assessed that the battery, connectors, and alternator were faulty. Issue was, they replaced the battery with one that looked like it had been in use for several years. Guy didnt even test it before leaving and I myself didnt see it until my mechanic pointed it out. Luckily, AAA had a warranty to cover it and another company came out and replaced it. The real kicker though is the texts and phone calls Ive received approximately every two hours in the two days since I received their services regarding rating their services. Seems a bit counter-intuitive to badger people with phone calls for a good review? Reported to AAA regarding both matters.Only reason theyre getting two stars is our tower (Brian I think; different guy than battery service). Was nice enough to drop off the car then drive me and my friend back to my place. And the result was his dispatch calling him up and chewing him out. You deserve better, man.
Ghetto and very unprofessional.
My 2004 Ford Taurus died at the grocery store. The tow driver arrived within 15 minutes. ROB is his name and he is a great example of an employers shining star- courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and an experienced employee. He had myself and Sylvia (my car) home very soon and provided useful information regarding my vehicle. As an extra bit of decency, he reversed my vehicle into my driveway leaving me enough space to roll out my dumpster for garbage pick-up the following day. Folks like ROB are a reason to not give up on kind and decent employees when you are a senior citizen and a woman alone-at night- with a broken vehicle. God Bless this Outfit!
I broke down in Dearborn. I contacted United and they responded in an amazing short amount of time, (less than 1/2hr) My tech, Hassan went above and beyond to make sure my car was up and running and safe for my return trip back to Akron. Thank you United Towing!!!
They always do a great Job.....It is we ladies do not always understand the language....Automobiles that is...m
De’Andre and De’Anthony hooked it up. Really good guys! Great service. Thank you!
We waited in the blistering hott for youFor four hours and you just said, No.Driver said Two mins and never showed up. I pushed my car to another location as I couldnt wait another 3 hours. I will NEVER get united and would cancel my AAA if they gave it to me again.
DO NOT let this place scam you. Our car was impounded and they said it would be $500 after a single day! They wouldn’t tell us where the car was even though Michigan law states we should be able to visit the car. Dearborn Police stated city ordinance only lets about $150 be the maximum. Don’t let these scam artists take advantage of you.
This man showed up and wouldn’t tow my sons car and he’s on my AAA account said he would have to start a whole new tow because he wasn’t me when he tried to show him he refused to look and drive off!!! Petty af
Called in to get a truck at 11:30am give the dispatch my info she didnt put it in called back to see how long she couldnt find my info said she was gone call me back never did... Called again guy answer got all my info again said 2 hours or less after waiting 2 hours called again for him to say 2 more hours... Wasted my whole day waiting on them
My car was lost after getting it towed, but the driver knew exactly were he put it & he was correct. My dealership couldnt find it due to lack of care. My husband & i had to find it, it took us less then 5 minutes.
Called for battery service through my AAA, driver named Moe H came out and was fantastic. He installed my battery he was accurate I didnt have to say nothing. He got me my battery and I Was back on the road in no time. Great service driver, great company!!!!!
Best
The tow guy was very nice and respectful. I had a wonderful experience. After getting a flat tire on the freeway. He towed me to the nearest tire repair shop to get a new tire and didn’t leave until he knew the tire shop had my size. I really enjoyed talking with him. The world need my guys like him.
DONT USE THEM!!!! Damaged my vehicle, unlicensed Driver, attempted to drive off, after the police called them and got them back, he didnt even have a drivers license!!!! Then They ignored my repeated calls and have not paid for the damage they did...what a joke of a place.
I was blown out of the water. The driver pick me up in a timely fashion West professional it was a pleasure riding with him from Detroit to the suburbs of commerce his name is Martino Jones one and honor thank you so much.
Our tow truck driver Ricky was great! He got there quickly and was efficient. We had some problems getting the car off the bed because the car was stuck in park, but he used great problem solving skills to get it down.
I’m so satisfied with United Towing. Me and my grandchild got a flat tire and they where there within 20 minutes to change my tire. Would recommend to family and friends. God bless you all.
Great costumer service
Had a great experience, they are very professional and I was offered water. Driver was polite. Would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs a tow!
Great friendly, polite tow truck driver. Arrived on time during the evening rush hour. Very happy with my experience.
Hass F. and a trainee came to my home for a tire change. Once at the house they were super fast. I am thrilled my car can get on the road again. Everything is covered in ice today and I expected them to be a very long time getting here. They were here close to the original 2 hour estimate and were very polite and fast. Thank you.
I have been waiting on a tow with this company since 9:30pm. It is currently 1am and I am still waiting. Called AAA to see if they had a more accurate ETA or to see if anyone is ever going to show. Pointless to pay AAA for a service when the companies they contract from are unable to provide prompt, professional service. I even called the company myself to see if they were ever coming, and no one answered. As a single woman, I shouldn’t have to be stranded on the side of the freeway for 5 hours, especially when I am paying for a service that claims they will be sending someone promptly
This one of the best services I’ve ever received, the young gentleman was very polite and helpful. My GT500 was handled with care and on time. United Towing is definitely reliable and professional! Thank you.
Horrible. Horrible horrible
Our jack was broken and we had a donut in the trunk on Thanksgiving Day. Called the towing service to jack us up and help put on the tire. Super slow service. We waited 45 mins to 1 hr...standard, right? Then we called the dispatcher - Oh, your driver is on his way now.... Another 30 mins flew by. Another 10. We waited a total of like 2 hrs for a jack and donut replacement. In that time I probably could have walked to the store, picked up a jack and replaced the tire myself. Wouldnt call this tire service unless it was my last option. When he got there, he helped us get on the road swiftly but we lost half the afternoon waiting on help.
I had a good experience. I put in a claim with AAA for flat tire service. I tracked the call on the AAA website and saw that a truck was dispatched within minutes. They were on route within 15-20 minutes and reached me about 35 minutes after I entered the request. The employee was courteous and professional. I havent driven on the spare he installed, but barring it popping off on my way to the repair shop, Id say the guy did a great job.
Steer clear! Arguably the worst towing experience I have ever endured. Needed a simple tow to a auto shop for front shocks and struts to be replaced. I had let the tow company know before they came that the car was not driveable and as such it would be difficult to tow. They assured me that they had plenty of experience in situations such as this. I can assure you they did NOT. What was supposed to be a simple suspension repair turned out to be a few thousand dollars in repairs. They essentially dragged my oil pan and transmission across the flat bed resulting in additional charges to replace and repair. I brought this up to them after the fact and they completely denied any wrong doing, and were very disrespectful. I take great pride in taking care of my car, and have had no major repairs prior to this. Needless to say, you live and you learn, but please learn from me and DONT use this company!
Beware of this business they were dispatched by AAA to give me a jump start. They saw i had a lot of cars in my drive way and decided to drain my battery instead and then offer to sell me a new one from their trunk, when i discovered they were scammers i had them leave my property but they kept calling to sell a battery to me rather forcefully and repeatedly. what a shady establishment RUN!!
Great service. The tow lady was awesome...
Rahsaan is a genuine man that works for the company. Doesnt mind going above and beyond. Please keep him around.
I called AAA and they sent out United Towing, they said within an hour but the young guy showed up in about 15min hooked me up and got me to the crib pronto. He kicked it with me while we drove, he was cool.
I had awful experience with these guys. I have a well known nice BMW which I unfortunately had to get towed on the side of the highway due to a bad tire. They came in a 2 hour span which wasnt too bad, and the tow guy was VERY nice, but the issue I had was that the guy did not strap my car on what so ever. He only had the front tow hook latched on, and JUST my front driver wheel strapped on. (I have photos) The bed of the truck was extremely slippery as well due to the snow and ice. When my car came back home, the hood was smashed in and front right headlight was bent inward due to a front headlight mount cracking. It looked as if the tow truck driver had slammed the brake, causing my car to slip forward into the headache bar of the truck. I had called my insurance and this tow company the next morning, and a lady picked up claiming they were too busy to talk, when asked if I could speak to the manager, she said that he is not here today and I will get a call back today or tomorrow... probably tomorrow because it is very busy 1/4/18. I have not received a call back and have not been contacted in any other way. The dent has caused my headlight to tilt and project the light in the wrong way causing my illumination to decrease heavily at night, and the dent on my hood caused my hood guide pins to bend and leading to my hood to be stuck in the closed position. Now I cannot get any services done in my car as well, and this is my daily driven car. Overall, the service while getting the car towed was outstanding, but that doesnt matter when the job is done incorrectly and completed unprofessionally. When talking to customer service, I had the worst experience in my entire life on the phone because they made me feel as if they did not care that THEY DAMAGED MY CAR which I had worked really hard for. They had completely ignored me and I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.
AAA needs to cancel contract with this BS company. Call for a tow at 1, they say be there at 1:40 then 2:02 then 2:45 then 3:44 still no tow truck. Mind you this is in the am. My car wont start and its cold as hell out here. If they arent sending a tow than just say so. Operator Zee is rude as F**K. Dont even wanna give it a 1 star, this company deserve a BIG FAT ZERO
A friend,If you ever need towing assistance, avoid United Towing in Dearborn AT ALL COSTS. Hitchhike home or push your car before calling these disrespectful, inconsiderate, *people*...On Tuesday, I was in a minor accident and called them to have my tire changed. They told me it would be about an hour. After an hour and forty five minutes, I called back and the woman on the phone told me that they *thought I didnt need help anymore* and so they never dispatched anyone to come help. They didnt apologize and said someone would be at my location in less than a half hour. I called after forty more minutes...three times...and nobody answered. Shortly after, I received a phone call from the truck driver. He told me he was just given my information and would be at my location in less than fifteen minutes.I asked the driver what they could do for me to make up for the HORRIBLE situation of leaving me in the cold, dark, rainy parking lot of a CLOSED gas station for almost THREE HOURS and he said he didnt have any authority on the matter and to call in the morning to speak to a supervisor.I did. My information was taken down and the guy said someone would get back to me.Nobody did.I called again today and the same woman who decided I didnt need help answered the phone and placated me while I told my story. She started getting an attitude and essentially telling me nobody cared so I went off on her. After that, she told me nobody would help me now.So again, avoid United Towing in Dearborn at all costs.
Never use this service it’s deplorable. They wanted to change the front light of my car and they said that they bought a new one but after two days it broke. I researched the factory number and it had 6 previous owners. They said that it was new but it had 6 previous owners.
This company likes to forget cars on the side of the road and tell the owner of said car that it was delivered to the location but it never was. Co-Wokers car was left on the side of the road and never delivered where it was suppose to go. Ended up being towed to the correct place and my co-worker was charge twice when the car was never towed where it should have been in the first place. Do not use this company. They will leave your car on the side of the road with the keys in it and say it was towed when it never was.
My battery died out and they came out within 20 minutes and changed it. Great service! Would definitely recommend to anyone that needs a battery or tow.
This has got to be the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life! I waited over 4 hours for them only to cancel, then the woman who answered the phone lie and told me AAA canceled my order. AAA has to get rid of this company before they lose great paying customers
Worst tow company ive ever experienced I will pay double before I would ever use them again. Terrible customer service, drivers are rude lie about arrival times nothing but a nightmare. Think twice before you get stuck with these clowns
I wish AAA would find a better service provider other than this company. 3+ hours and still no service. Rude/unhelpful dispatchers, and no clarity provided other than, within the next 20-30 mins. If youre in the business of servicing people and your main issue, as evident by other reviews, is how you service people you have a big problem. If youre in a pinch like me and need someone who can be professional as well as time efficient this is not the company for you.
During 32 degree weather in the middle of the night (2am to be exact) United Towing sent out a driver by the name of Tyson. He arrived within 25 mins and changed my tire within 10mins. He was a true all star guy. Quick, knowledgeable, and even offered bottle water! Outstanding service!
Four hours and still no show. Thanks AAA for this garbage.
The young lady/receptionists that answered the phone was completely rude. I asked her to address me by my last name because this was a business call and she didn’t know me personally.Completely rude she said “I’ll just put that in the notes” and hung up on me.She called back to say they’ll be here 20 min later and emphasized my first name again... I corrected her and again she just hung upCalling back to speak to a mgr she again was rude, I wanna as speaking to the doctor in the background telling him she didn’t even say hold on... the young lady clearly was listening and said MAAM I said one minute! I told her she didn’t and we aren’t going to argue I don’t respond well to combative rude customer service. Calling AAA now to report this issue!
Guy came to tow car within a reasonable amount of time. He offered to tow to a mechanic shop (the owner of the mechanic shop also happens to own united tow is what tow truck driver said). He said that it would be 50% off repair bill since car was towed using their services. ITS ASCAM!!!! $180 to diagnose how to turn off an alarm????? No parts were ordered. Really??? Diagnose on how to get an alarm off???? Give me a break. And no 50% off. Mechanic said he didnt know why the tow driver said that. DONT USE UNITED TOW. THEY LIE.
The 2 young gentlemen that towed my car to the auto shop this morning from AutoZone were kind and respectful; I give them 2 thumbs up.
Tried to go with them through AAA. Tire blew out near downtown Detroit’s 2amish on a Saturday night. In a crappy part of town. The tow operator blew off our call, said on App that they arrived, I called AAA service. After 30 min on the phone AAA supposedly sent someone else out. AAA even stated that the tow truck had called us, hogwash! No missed calls on my cellphone. Still waiting. We are now running out of gas and patience. Try to tell AAA to use someone else if you have any choice at all. This tow truck company isn’t a reputable operator. I would give them less than a star if I could.
They were fast in getting there to tow my car and they have reasonable prices.
Good service. I did get different wait times but it was way shorter than when I wait for other companies. Some of my lug nuts had been damaged and my wrench for my car to unscrew the nuts. I got a follow up call about the service and I mentioned this to the person and they have offered to replace these items which I feel is fair. the people who came out and that I talked to on the phone were polite professional and friendly.
Do not use United. I have AAA and requested a total about 4 miles from their facility. AAA said they’d be coming out within 45 minutes. An hour and a half later I called and AAA let me know they declined to come get me because they didn’t want to accept AAA ‘discounted tow rate. United left me sit here for another hour. I called United personally and ask them if they were declining AAA service they said no. I called AAA back and AAA said that’s not true that they did decline the service. I called United back again and they finally decided to be honest and tell me they weren’t going to except AAA’s service. They wanted the amount in full. Do not use United stay away from United.
Stay far away from this sh*thole of a company. They left my car on the freeway, lied to me where they dropped it off yet. Never even picked the car up. They were supposed to resolve the issue and tow it to another location. They again never picked it up AGAIN. I’ve never deal with such a scum bag place. Giving them a 1 Star is too much.

Customer service is spectacular especially your driver aric his customer service is outstanding
Their “office” is in the back of the gas station. With “people” on computers and on headsets. No real office it felt like a scam!!!

Dante is the best and the nicest mechanic. He goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and less upset about the problem. Good driver and great person. Thanks Dante!
It was a relief getting another tow truck company besides 313 Towing. 313 always makes it seem you are a inconvenience to them coming out and assisting you. I cant remember the mans name Big Fella but he got there quick and got me off the freeway fast. Thanks Again !!!
After having a bad experience with another towing service (Unique Towing) that never showed up. Your service was called to help my husband and me with our car. Your towing service was great! The gentleman Shevon was the nicest young man. He was very helpful. You have yourself a very good employee that represent your company professionally. Thank you for making a bad situation into a good one.
They came out today because a friend locked her keys in her truck. Called AAA and they dispatched United. Only had to wait 15 minutes and they were there. Unlocked the door and gave me a water. It was cold and an early Sunday, so im really appreciative of that.
So I just got my car towed. They showed up in about an hour after we had went into a ditch and a tire fell off. It took a reasonable time for them to get there and all that. We hop in the back seat get three miles down the road and run out of gas we wait in the freezing cold truck for 3 hours. Turns out he supposably didnt run out of gas even though we had to wait an hour for another tow truck to bring us gas.. turns out it was a loose ground cable from a semi who hit him prior. We went in the ditch at noon and called and finally made it 25 miles away to a tire place at 5 oclock. So we get to the tire place and says the tow is normally 350 but for your wait I will only charge u 250. I try to call the office and complain about this absurd price after waiting. Turns out he answers and says that at least you made it there and I gave you half price that tow is usually 500.
