Rude, unprofessional staff. Will never go here again as well as told many others about my poor experience. Upon entering, I was quoted a very high price for a certain oil they claimed I needed, despite my statements that I had never paid such a price before and that the “lower quality” oil had been used for many previous oil changes. Oddly, another worker stated they have to use. “the good stuff” for rental cars, although this was my personal vehicle? I said it wasn’t a rental car and he just said “ok, whatever” and walked away. Overall a very strange experience that resulted in no oil change being done.

I waited at the Kia dealership for over an hour and they hadn’t started on my car. Went down the street to this valvoline and they had me in and out in about 15 minutes for half the price! All the men working were extremely polite and they didn’t pressure me into anything unnecessary. I will definitely be back!

The first time I went there I accidentally accelerated a bit to get up the incline and was scolded although I lined my car up perfectly. Where I went before, a full synthetic oil change was $20 less anyway.Today, I called the center to ask how much was a light change and to see if they were opened. I waited 20 minutes behind another car to be told they weren’t going to do it and that the call center often offers services they don’t provide.

Very friendly & informative! They made it more affordable than other places and did an amazing job. I highly recommend coming here above all other places.

This is what I would call the Ideal customer experience. They will walk you through every step of the process. Personally when I show up now I just tell them to skip the shpeal and request what I need to save them time, because the walkthrough can be lengthy and they always appreciate it. Very worth the time and experience either way because you will always leave there with confidence they did a very good job. They will even check tire pressure and inflate if you are going by and have had them out you in the system for free. Thanks guys for the good easy going experience, I will always come here every time now.

I had originally given 5 Stars because they didnt charge me when they couldnt get my A/C going, but the next day our vehicle started making strange noises and has been running kind of rough since then. It looks like there might be a piece missing on the compressor. We are awaiting an appointment with a mechanic.Update: We took the vehicle to a mechanic who confirmed that the compressor clutch was missing.

I dont often post reviews of businesses given that I have worked in retail/customer service for 20+ years and stuff happens but I go to the best (and most expensive) for a reason. Its just frustration when you spend 35mins in line then another 45mins in the bay just for them to tell you that you have a special transmission, we dont have the parts for it. Thats all fine but then when you add on top of the now 1 hour 10mins I spent, the manager comes over and says Im so sorry youve waited so long and thank you for being patient, if I wouldve come over here sooner I couldve told you we didnt have the parts. As if that was supposed to make me happy that a now qualified person told me what the 2 other people spend 45mins trying to figure out on my car shouldve said from step one given that they all have hours and hours of training and experience based off their website. Sorry for all the quotes and Ive not mad, Im not one of those people, its just frustrating to waste so much time and basically get a sorry, nothing we can do, have a good one! Maybe a free oil change or a way to fix it in the future or a heres where we recommend you go... Any of those would be helpful not a sorry, if I wouldve stepped in sooner. They were nice, and tried, just didnt know what they were doing before hand clearly...

Im a frequent customer here and usually receive great customer service. Today, however, was a bit different. Nothing extreme, just a guy who hated being at his job at that moment. He had a little attitude with me at first and complained when another customer pulled in after me. I then asked him if he was okay, because you never know whats going on in someones life. He didnt reply, but did change his attitude and began to interact with me in a respectful manner. He later explained that they are short handed. That is never a good reason for being rude to a customer though. My advice to this gentleman, you may have something tough youre dealing with, I get it. I am too. You see, today was the first day in a LONG time that I didnt dry heave from anxiety and have to dig deep to gain the courage to make it through the day. Just because someone looks okay, doesnt mean they are. Thank you for quickly acknowledging your poor attitude and changing it.

Efficient and courteous staff! they work really well as a team are very supportive of one another ensuring that my car was fully ready to go! They checked my tires, washer fluid, transmission oil, and oil all as a courtesy. They are absolutely wonderful h highly recommend coming here. I guess Valvoline instant oil change feels that answering customers phone calls isn’t important. I called 6 times during business hours and got no answer. This isn’t the first time either. Very unprofessional. Won’t spend my money here ever again.

I went there for an oil change upon completion and leaving the inspection cover fell off of the vehicle and was destroyed.They replaced it with a non factory version and again this one fell off. I went back again and was very disrespected by the employees,the one guy was threatening and had to be told to leave. I wouldnt recommend this joke of a place to anyone.

These guys got me in right away and were all very sweet and explained the entire process. Quick and easy. I like that you can stay in your car and not in a waiting room.

I I got my oil changed their last month I did an inspection first and they told me what needed to be replaced and I had the option to replace that or not and theyre all finished with the $45 oil change which included the filters and stuff that I needed oil technician told me that I needed oil pan gasket he said on a scale from 1 to 10 it was a 9 but he said they didnt do them there so I took it to Mi auto mechanic Quality Auto in Garden City on Ford Road and Merriman can you tell me I need to know oil pan gasket and oil pan cover well they had to drain the oil out which made the oil change that I got from Valvoline Quick Change Oil in Dearborn on Telegraph worthless so I spent that money for nothing and that technician their new because they inspected my car before the oil change I feel like I got robbed at that place🔄🔄🔄🔄UP-DATE::: not too long ago I got a call from Carl head supervisor at the Valvoline oil change he was a very polite very nice and straightforward he offered to refund me my money for the oil change I told him that I would prefer just to have my next Oil Change we taken care of for the one that I paid for already that got dumped out a couple days later he agreed and I feel like wow that was very nice of him to do that so Im going to give Valvoline quick oil change another chance cuz Ive been going there this isnt that wasnt my first time so Im going to go ahead and give them the benefit of a doubt let them do their job well thank you carl I appreciate it and Ill see you later on this month

Way Over priced, go to your vehicle make dealership you get a better deal unless you do it yourself. Better deals out there avoid Valvoline Instant Oil change.

Workers were nice, but completely overpriced. $91 for a 4.2 quart synthetic oil change...HOW!? I know my car takes synthetic oil, but it still should not be $91 for the oil change alone. Then they continued asking me to add on services that were highly recommended.I am a local college student, and just wanted my oil changed. My car didn’t even need the full 5 quarts. I feel completely taken advantage of and do not recommend others to go here.

$200 to do a air conditioning recharge and it didnt work. They said there was no leaks and they didnt know why it didnt work. I think that falls under a bad value and not professional. I do have to say the guys were extremely friendly while they were charging me just over $200 for nothing.

What a nice system they have. They time your visit, have a camera under your car, present other services they offer and seem to work together to get you in and out. They didnt try to play with me on pricing, it was all standard. What you read on the website is what you pay. Its the first oil change I had where I didnt feel like they were trying to up-charge or take advantage of me. I also noticed they had a woman working there and she was a rockstar. I love seeing that because its so rare and she was extremely good at her job. It automatically made me feel more comfortable. Its women friendly, no worries!

I’m happy fate led me here. They were completely honest and told me I didn’t need an oil change just yet. I’ve been going to another oil change place for a year and I’ve been diligent with getting an oil change when my car tells me. If I would’ve gone to the other place they would’ve changed my oil and sent me on my way like they always do. If you want honesty come here they’ll help you out and check it for free with a bonus of great service.

My car is a Toyota Hyprid and I will definitely not change the oil somewhere else. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Good Day: This is my third visit to this Valvoline location and the experience was again, a great one. The staff was not only friendly, but they were knowledgeable and efficient. I would highly recommend this location. On my second visit I told one of the personnel, at least you all make a person feel good when they have to spend their money. I feel the same way with this last visit.

Priced a bit high

The service was professional and quick. The guys kept apologizing for my wait as they were quite busy but honestly I was in and out in about a half hour. I couldnt ask for better service.

Great everything, just like any other oil change, only twice as much in price. The lady gave me a discount. Maybe Ill go back one day to keep the nice young adults employed. Looked like college students. They did a great job... Just like any other places, but the oil should be liquid gold.

For some reason Valvoline will not grease any grease fittings on my truck if the temperature is below 55. I dont know what the thinking is behind this. I was told the same thing when I had my oil changed in December. Sounds like Valvoline is trying to save a dime. $43.00 for 6 quarts oil, a cheap filter and air in my tires. Might be time to find a new oil change shop, heck the Dodge dealership will do it cheaper. Then to top things off I get a discount card in the mail two days after my oil change. They never seem to send these out before my oil change. Frustrated!

The most professional oil change place Ive ever visited. Kudos to these guys and gals for systematically going through car maintenance checklists (they wont miss a thing) and doing it with speed. They are pricey, and Ive tried switching to other places, but always end up back here again when the cheaper places mess something up.

This is an edit to my original review. I gave 5 stars and was very happy. Since then i have been nothing but disappointed. This morning for example. Pulled in at 850 had 2 different employees look me dead in my eyes as they stood inside. At 905 i pulled away and never even acknowledge my existence. Had both my cars done here since moving to Michigan never get another penny of mine thats for sure.

This place is overpriced and they keep trying to up sale you on everything. $60 for an oil change or $79 for 2013 Impala. they told it is recommended by GM to do there basic oil change but give you the options of there lesser oil change for 49.99 but we will report that you declined the recommended oil change... wow!

Best oil change place I’ve ever been to. I’ve been coming here since I️ was 16 and just started driving and they’ve never once tried to push anything extra on me. Always friendly and always answer my questions honestly. Thank you for that!!!!

I went to this location for a quick oil change. I always go to Valvoline because they only take 10-15 minutes, but this visit was way different than I was used to. A guy checked me in, checked my lights, and opened my hood, then he just disappeared. Everyone else around me got service, and it almost seemed like I was being ignored for about a half an hour. Finally, someone other than the guy who checked me in came by and changed my oil, but then he walked away to help someone else. I sat there, ready to be checked out, for another 20 minutes before the original guy who checked me in came out of the bathroom and checked me out. Never go to this place.
