Dont get me wrong; the staff is very courteous and professional for the most part. Employees turn over there quickly. It seems new grads go there to get experience and then quit and you barely see the same people twice so dont get to dependent on familiar faces. I, however, really have had a time with my work getting done efficiently, properly, or charged correctly. When my work started a care plan was mapped out even before insurance was applied I was to pay $6000 for all that had to be done. Unfortunately, we keep rescheduling appointments for the same work to keep being done over. I have literally swallowed 2 crowns because they keep coming off. Then my fillings they put in fell out. This inhibits the progress of my care considerably since I cant seem to get past the work they have done and now more issues that have been postponed for redoing their work my dental health has been affected and now more money comes out of my pocket. I live on limited income so the bills for the Aspen Dental credit plan keep piling up and just to get the interest covered per month I would have to triple my payments so it doesnt keep accruing. The work after insurances x3 was supposed to be $3800 and change but it is now rounding closer to maxing out my entire credit line of $6000 because of the extra work that originally wasnt needed and now is needed because of the work being redone therefore postponing more damage from happening. It is a racket but now I am stuck trying to pay the bills because they dont know how to bill the 3 dental insurance companies. They are basically getting paid 4 x for their shifty work. Once I am done I will no longer return to them. I just hope I dont lose any more of my teeth due to further delays. π¬
BE CAREFUL. NY SCAMMERS. I scheduled a cleaning and went in and they never did it. Instead they informed me I had to get X-rays as part of the service and see the doctor. After waiting for over an hour in the chair they informed me the dr would see me. I asked about my cleaning and they said they were not doing it today Iβd have to reschedule. I got upset because I had been waiting over thirty minutes in the waiting room (after my scheduled appointment) then another hour in the chair. Then they didnβt even provide the service I wanted. When they said they werenβt doing the cleaning I told them there was no reason for me to be here then as my insurance covers my free cleaning. I walked out and refused to sit and wait for a some made up service I did not request. I am in shock because they actually had the audacity to put me in collections for providing false services I did not consent to. This company is from Syracuse NY and they have the same reputation up there. I was hoping it was just a geographical thing but it appears to be their business mode. Go someplace else where they will be upfront about costs.They also have walk ins that get seen before people who scheduled their appointments. It makes no sense. Good luck talking to the same person twice as they have new inexperienced kids working like a revolving door.They will provide false services you did not request for a quick buck thinking people will pay it as opposed to fighting. This big business makes its money taking advantage of people. The epitome of the American health system.
5 stars! I was in severe pain and had an emergency walk in this morning. I waited maybe 30 minutes. Was taken back and treated like family. My dentist was so reassuring and professional Dr Barry. The girls helping were amazing and helped ease my anxiety. Tooth was extracted with no pain. Could not before greatful! Thank you everyone !! Highly recommended to anyone!

Friendly, courteous and professional staff. The only complaint I have is that I went in for a broken tooth and was quoted for procedures in my entire mouth (partials, crowns etc) totaling $3900. In that quote was also a charge of $135 for an electric toothbrush!!
I was full of anxiety for my visit as itβs long overdue. From the time I made my appointment, to walking in, to the X-rays, exam, treatment plan review etc? Each person made me feel like family and made me feel so comfortable. This is a huge lifetime decision for me. The staff brought the joy to my experience. Iβm deeply grateful.
With everything that we have been through, (I say we because my husband has been my moral & financial support through it all) Dr.Hernandez as cliche as it might sound, was a breath of fresh air. He was conversant, and advised us our best course of action.In addition to that he was super friendly, we felt like we were with one of our friends. We liked him so much, we requested him for the follow up appointments in August. I dont want to leave out the rest of their staff, because they were all very nice too.
I visited the Aspen Dental on International Speedway Blvd in Daytona Beach, Fl. The first visit was routine except for the many ex-rays which I thought was excessive. I received a treatment plan at that time but was suggested to see a specialist in several weeks. At that time it was determined that I would need 4 implants and some other work. I was given my new plan at that time. I called to schedule my appointment and was informed that it was about $12,000 more than I was told on my previous visit. I was told that they would check into it and call me back later that day. No call after several days so I called back and explained the situation to the office manager who was on vacation during my previous call. She said she would figure everything out and call me back that afternoon. I read other reviews and saw similar situations as mine. I have already made another appointment at another Dentist office.
Very friendly staff but horrible time mangement at this location. Iβve been there more than seven times. I was always on time and I always had to wait for over 30 minutes before Iβm attended to. But I was fine with waiting.The very first time I was 15 minutes late, my appointment was cancelled almost immediately!! It took a while for the attendant to find out I had an appointment at all. I have scheduled a new appointment at the port orange location. Iβm never going back there. I hope the port Orange office can do better in regards to timeliness.

It would have been the perfect visit if they served drinks and food. I am a very difficult person to please like most NY ers. This place exceeded the expectation quick service, polite people and a DMD that was informative and had great communication skills. The Techs, Hygenists and Finance staff were amazing absolutely amazing. Prices were fair and the location by the mall was immaculate.

Had an appointment for 4:45. Sat in waiting room as people came in and where seen rather quickly. Did not end up getting seen by dentist until 6:00 pm. As I asked how much longer front desk lady kept saying just 5 minutes. 20 min later there about 5min til ready. And so on.
Terrible. The dollar store of dental. They dont know anything about insurance. They assume everything without asking, causing problems down the road. I called recently to settle a dispute. Was told that Aspen doesnt call insurance on behalf of customers. Seemed strange when there is a prompt specifically for dental offices. Also my insurance informed me that they had called on my behalf a few months prior.I had my wisdom teeth removed 5 months ago and I have a hard painful visible lump in my jaw. Have already been back once. All they did was squirt some antibiotic on it. Completely dissatisfied. They come off professional in the office and then entirely let you down when it comes to medical.
THEY HAVE THE FRIENDLIEST STAFF! DOC WAS NICE. THEY HAVE A TELEVISION FOR YOU TO WATCH RIGHT ON YOUR CHAIR. ONE THING IS THAT YOU DO HAVE A LONG WAIT, THERES ONLY ONE DOC, BUT WORTH THE WAIT.

The dental assistant Ruby was extremely courteous and kind and great to work with..My only negative is that I need to come back but its 2 week wait. So I kind of feel they got my $1,700 and I need follow-up work so its hurry up and wait when all was done
The Daytona office was amazing. I canβt say enough about the staff and the experience I had here.. I would highly recommend them, I have an entirely different out look when it comes to going to the dentist now. This experience was painless and they put you completely at ease.
This is for my first ever visit to Aspen Dental - Daytona. I was greeted by the welcoming Ladyjane at the check-in desk, and then shortly after filling out some info, the awesome Karly called my name and took me for X-rays. She was easy to talk to and then showed me the room Id be seen in. Karly talked me through everything (Im pre-med so I was interested). Then the hygenist, Sarita, came in to go over my x-rays and some spaces forming. She was equally informative and easy to talk to. After that review, Dr. Barry came in to introduce himself and offer some advice about Invisalign as well as my current permanent retainer. Although this was an intro visit to an issue with my insurance, Dr. Barry resolved an issue with my internal retainer. Then Karly took me to the waiting room (I waited for maybe 1min) and Desiree, one of the post-op employees at the exit desks, called for me and explained treatment plans, costs, etc. She was so bubbly and a joy to speak with! Now, I actually live in Port Orange and know now about the location here; however, after my time with the people in the Daytona location, Ill likely stick to the DB location. Either way, thank you for a wonderful appointment!
Would not even rate 1 star. Worst experience EVER. They guarantee a print out of the dental plan that is agreed upon, I never received 1 and still have not received 1. I have no idea what I have been billed for the last time I had work done. Dr. Hernandez would not explain any reasoning for any dental work he recommended, he would avoid any questions I would ask and would leave the room for long periods of time during EACH AND EVERY visit I have had with him (this would happen late in the afternoon when maybe 1 or 2 other patients were in the building, and then I find him having a friendly conversation with his co-workers about some party). He would tell me that he would send a prescription to the pharmacy and then they wouldnt be there. I would have to call SEVERAL times in order to get them. The last time I was told that I would be getting antibiotics sent to the pharmacy for an infection that is causing major pain. 2 days later and still nothing at the pharmacy, I called 6 times just to be told the doctor WILL not be giving me antibiotics until the day of the procedure because of potential yeast infections it may or may not cause, but he sends Ibuprofen to deal with it.. Why tell me you would send them to the pharmacy and lie once I call about it? I have had nothing but issues with this place since the 1st visit. I called to schedule an emergency appointment on Friday due to incredibly horrible pain and was practically told to deal with it. They had me and my infant son (he was 3 months at this time) who was clearly upset and crying from being hungry waiting over an hour for a CONSULTATION that I was told would not be long at all, all while they were gathered in the hall talking about a party. This place is a JOKE. the rudest receptionist ever and you get no where with anything. I would highly recommend to go to a different office.
Was seen yesterday for an exam and routine cleaning for the first time at Aspen Dental. I waited less than maybe even five minutes to be seen. Everyone was so friendly and professional. Oscar, the dental hygienist was so friendly and nice! He gave me a lot of education about my dental hygiene in a nonjudgmental, personable, and professional manner. Roberto at the office was so kind and courteous and made sure my appointment went well even after I was finished being seen. Will be going back for sure, thank you!! :)
Best dental experience ever, they actually listened when I said please do not touch the trouble area. They where very quick to assess and diagnose and create a treatment plan that is 100% affordable as well!!! I will only go to them from here on out

Great at first staff professional and welcoming but really its all a front, I was in an accident lost teeth they tell me you have weak teeth lets replace them all.. I get procedure done they left my 2 Canines in and gave me a lower dntre that now bc as they said weak teeth theyve detereated and left me w 2 Big holes in my smile and a lot of pain even to eat... my mom just died my fathers sick and I cant afford to fix them it saddens me to b a dollar sign

First off, the Dentist Ms Green and the staff were very friendly, Ms Green did a fantastic job on a difficult extraction. My problems were the way they did business. I went in there at 9am for an extraction and was in pain. Two hours later they were still asking me questions, moving me from room to room and finally after over two hours they gave me Novocain for the pain. Another half hour of waiting and then Dentist came in and did her thing. I finally got out of there close to noon time, three hours it took and they werent even that busy. The issue was they only had one dentist working and least 5 people in various rooms waiting on her. My advice, stop taking hours for paperwork and questions and get to the patient sooner, as well as have more dentists working, they should have had at least 3 this morning. Oh, and one more thing... they say masks are mandatory yet I walk in this morn and there was an old surfer dude guy there without a mask. I made a fuss and he put one on, but really.. it is the front desk guard secretary who should be enforcing this.P.S. Three months later and I am still having pieces of bone force their way thru my gums. I have never had such a horrible recovery from a tooth pulling as I have with this one. I have to reevaluate the dentist.. more like a torture specialist.

This was my second time at an Aspen Dental and I was no more impressed this time than the last time. Do not get me wrong, they have very friendly and professional staff, however they lack timeliness and customer care. I made a 1pm appointment for a check-up and cleaning. They called me in at the time of my appointment and did a bunch of xrays and screenings and then put me in a room to wait for a doctor. He came in, examined my teeth for about 3 minutes, shouted out some numbers and left. He did not discuss any of my screenings, they did not clean my teeth at all and I spent the better part of my appointment waiting in empty rooms for someone just for nothing to actually happen. I left without so much as getting any kind of explanation of my screenings, no cleaning and they said they would call me back within a day with a follow up for an Invisalign consultation and to go over my insurance coverage. It has been a couple days and they never even left a voicemail.TIP: DO NOT BOOK A 1PM appointment!!! They take a lunch break at 2pm and they do not care what corners they have to cut to get that lunch break...even if it means skipping a cleaning and rushing some screenings and then rushing you out of the office telling you they will call you back!

I waited for 2 hrs to be seen . The dental assistants were amazing & helpful but the rest of the staff ? Rude, I paid for my appointment and then had to wait 35 minutes after it all for my treatment plan which no one told me about . I had to leave and she told me thatβs fine someone will call me tomorrow with my treatment plan. Itβs been almost a week, Iβve called twice and gotten disconnected each time . All they wanted were my funds.
Group of Professionals.This is the second dentist I visited, the first dentist I visited bruised my inner gums by the tongue all in the name of trying to scan! Couldnβt eat with that side for more than 48 hours. I have a tie tongue and she kept pulling it out hard leaving me pretty bruised up and this made me run from there and stumbled across Aspen dental.As a first time customer at Aspen dental with no dental insurance, I was given free oral examination.Went there with sever pain in my molars, was prescribed an antibiotic and an anti inflammatory drug while I was referred elsewhere for root canal and examination, finally extracted tooth 31 at aspen, simple procedure, I did not swell nor did I feel pain after the Anastasia wore off! Currently healed up and I will still be going back there for the rest.Pricing was reasonable but then again, no dental procedure is cheap per se, staff were friendly and professional.

Nice people work here, the service i got was good and was made to feel comfortable...much better than port Orange aspen...i would recommend this one first above the rest...even though i wasnt crazy about getting my bottom plate fixed. Lol ...things you have to do to keep a smile. The reason for four stars is the long wait on phone .. I must say they are busy but they should take number and call back when they have time this should be done every few hrs.or less

Gave me a jacked up quote that was incorrect and then said my insurance wouldnt cover anything but found out after I left she was completely wrong she never took the care or time to discuss it and findout for sure. Literally the worst company. We were told we were paying ahead of time for all services. Over a year later we are receiving a bill for almost 600.00 saying we owe them because they contract out surgeons and that the treatment plan we were quoted and paid for was not the full bill. After we directly sat down and explained to their representative we want to pay a head of time for all services so we are not billed later on. This is truly sad that companies like this con people out of money.I would never recommend them. And their customer service people do not care to be even a little bit sympathetic or understanding in the least. They say this is why we have you sign all this paper work so you know. But on the contrary their representatives tell you that you donβt have to read it he will review everything with you... clearly not.And because their call representatives have no experience they constantly reread the same script to you. Sad what this world comes to. Anything to make some cash.

This place ran like a well oiled machine. Everything from the initial call to the estimate given was a pleasant experience. The customer service is great. The only thing that wasnt 5 star was the time spent there. A little over 2 hours for initial visit which included x-rays, periodontics check and explanation from dentist of what I needed done.Besides the time spent, everything else was great.

Port orange aspen worst dentist ever. Manager jackie and her front desk staff are the rudest people i have ever met. For 2 years i went to port orange aspen, they have never changed how rude they are. When i told them about being rude and i was going to ormond. They just laugh and did not care they were loosing client. Very unprofessional. Consumer service from the front desk are the worstRude as hell. They never smile. Just talk down on you and be rude. I had a great experience a great hygienist the only downside to yesterdayβs visit was I was unable to see the dentist or the dentist did not come in and talk to me at all I guess he had left for the day. I just donβt agree with that part of the appointment because I feel if it is my yearly appointment I should be able to speak to The dentist ! but my hygienist was amazing he was great he was friendly ! he really encouraged me to continue doing what I am doing with my teeth to keep them nice and healthy.

I JUST want to say Emily DA was great .She is very gently and explains everything she is doing she mademe feel so relaxed and answered all my questions she is someone you want to work for you. She has a great personality and the gift of making patience like me who are very embarrassed with my teeth she has a way of just making you feel so comfortable during visits.She in mine opinion is the heart beat of the place.Aspen should know they have a great DA as her to represent aspen dental.I cant forget about Jay treatment coordinator he was also great .He did what he could to change my plans of treatment for me with a great attitude.These 2 employees are jewels to Aspen dental in my opinion.I will recommend Aspen to family and friends just because of them two.They made my visit great and they both know what they are doing.so I just want to thank you Emily my DA and Jay coordinator. The new dentist is competent and caring, but the new manager is the rudest manager I have ever encountered at a dentist or doctors office - ever!!! I have spent a lot of money at Aspen, and paid my bills diligently, but there have been some problems with the lab work. When I asked for some time to go over my account, the new manager refused to set an appointment, and instead demanded I pay up minutes before my last appointment.She spoke rudely to me in ear shot of all waiting patients, and staff, and said a disparaging remark about me to the dental assistant. Its unfortunate for this office, because the other current staff have been very nice.

Dr. Patel was very professional, he made the visit very easy and comfortable. He really eased my fear and anxiety. Also, the dental assistant took great care of me after the visit. Most amazing experience in a dental office ever. I HATE going to the dentist, and had put it off until a root canal was needed. I was scared to death to go. Dr Hernandez and his girls made the procedure completely pain free yesterday, and by the time I left my appointment, I was literally laughing. I cannot thank him enough, for giving me the confidence to make the future appointments and work needed that much easier for me.

This is a REAL review! I had a wonderful experience. The wait time was moderate. The receptionist was polite, the dental assistant Lindsey was so nice, knowledgeable, helpful, and thorough. The dentist was also amazing, very nice, personable, knowledgeable, and he explained everything and answered any and all questions, the hygienist was nice and thorough as well. The ambiance was so nice and welcoming. Everything is so up to date and modern and tech savvy here. They have TVs in front of you while sitting in your dental chair that also show your X-rays, you can watch TV shows and the internet and more. Although this was only for an exam which was FREE by the way. My experience was nothing but stellar. The only sad part is like most dental places paying out of pocket for dental work is very expensive and they are expensive for certain things, but they do offer financing. All in all I would recommend this place, even though I have not actually had work done by them yet.

At the end of my visit, the gentleman that did my paperwork was very kind and he also helped to figure out a payment plan in finance department and gave 2 different options for the procedure that I need to have done. Over all I definitely give a 5 star rating and if I had the option, I would give a lot more stars. The office is extremely clean and very comfortable. The Doctor and ALL of the staff are amazing!! The staff there is really friendly. From Jay at the front desk to the dental hygienist Tiffany and Emily are both really helpful and nice. I had alot of work done with them and even during COV 19 they found ways to work me into there busy schedule.
All the staff was very welcoming and nice to work with. Their exam was complete and informing. After this process was finished there was a conference on what needed to be done and was broken down and prices given. They showed price, less insurance, patient cost.Our choice on what and when we will do. No pressure, pleasent atmosphere to make my decisions.

The people are great! As always the Novacaine was excruciating. I had 3 molars removed. I was genuinely surprised that they didnt stitch the holes shut, Im concerned about getting food in there. I found them a little too gung go about pulling everything and giving me dentures, but other than that it was a good experience.
A woman in the waiting room send a temporary cap rubbed her gum so bad she couldnt eat. She had that fixed then it fell out. I had my teeth cleaned and left with goop on them and my bottom and top teeth would stick. No more!!π’π’
After wasting 5k at the Palatka office and living with an awful fit on my uppers and lowers for a year, I care to see Dr. Hernandez. He made absolutely sure that my new dentures fit properly and looked exactly as I wanted them. He is beyond professional and is dedicated to making sure his work is perfect and the client is happy. I canβt even describe what a difference this will make in my life. I had hid myself away due to the bulk, crookedness, and ill fit that I had received from the palatka aspen. I wasnβt able to eat in my old dentures which meant no meals with friends or family. I canβt say thank you enough for making sure everything was done well and to my satisfaction. You changed my world for the better!

The staff is very nice especially the front desk person I called several times that day and then I could not find the place finally I called again and he graciously gave me the correct direction and told me not to worry just come on in. The staff explained everything they were going to do before doing it. The doctor explained what needed to be done and ask if he could do it. The Office Manager was also very nice and asked several times if I had any questions of her to make sure I understood.
Great service, my appointment was at 8am got me in right away. Edward explained everything to me. Did xrays and cleaned my teeth, Was out in 40 minutes, awesome.
They were on time, courteous and clean. They squeezed me in at the last minute and made me feel important. I will definitely go back.

I can say so much about Aspen dental and the staff they are very great. Ive been going to them for a while and now my time is about up. What I can say is that they took the time to make sure that I was pleased and also satisfied. The staff are very very great people the manager as well and also especially the doctor that did my procedure if you ever want to get your mouth worked on this is a great place to be they treated us as if we were family, and remain professional at all times I wouldnt have went to any other place. Thank you all for what youve done for me how you brought my smile back. To Aspen dental on international you guys rock!!! youre the best again thank you allπ!!
I liked the dentist, knowledgeable and kind, and everybody was wearing a mask. The problem with Aspen Dental is always the long waiting time until you are helped.
I had a 11:15 appointment. Was told be there 10 minutes before. I left at 12:15. I was not even called for x-rays or anything else.

The process was smooth with no problems. Got check up one day and scheduled cleaning for the next which was a lot faster than I usually get from the dentist. The cleaning was done in a timely manner and professionally performed. The whole experience was what I anticipated and was what I received.
Good dentistry, poor office management.The dentist part of this business is great. Very clean and advanced office and equipment. Dental hygienists had fantastic bedside manner. They hustled, but were gentle and thorough. The office management side is why only three stars, and its a shame. I arrived 10 mins early for a 2pm appointment. Wasnt called back until 2:45pm. Many people had been waiting for a while it seemed. Not a soul to be found at the front desk. When someone finally did show, there was no explanation or apology for the wait, even after people said my appt was at ___ like *hint, hint* Whats the hold up? All they got was a quick Youve been checked in. Other people also had mix-ups with their paperwork and scheduling times.Maybe they were just having a bad day, but from the apathy of the scheduling staff, my guess is this is normal.
Unfortunately... no service was provided. The lab tech? was not available and office couldnt determine the time she would arrive. The dental assistant? was very apologetic and accommodating..... wanted to make sure Aspen didnt interfere with my other appointment.my appointment was rescheduled was later this week.
Great people. All of them are helpful. Very courteous, in and out in 20 minutes for a filling. Schedule the appointment real fast. Best dentist Ive been to in years.
I went in on my lunch break and they accommodated my short time frame. The staff was very friendly, helpful and efficient.
While i was here for a visit to take a look at a tooth i had broken as a child everything seemed fine. They were pushing towards an expensive cleaning plan and tooth brush. Trying to tell me that my tooth is dead i need a root canal and i had gingivitis. Dr. Patel said my root canal looked tricky so they wanted to send me to Orlando. They also made me pay for part of the cleaning plan upfront which i thought was a little weird. After leaving and feeling like i was being pushed into directions i didnβt want i went to get a 2nd opinion. I was told my tooth is not dead i donβt need a root canal and i definitely donβt have gingivitis. The new dentist was shocked i was told any of that. Pretty said how we rely on doctors and dentist to take care of us but chains like this are only looking for money. I do not recommend this branch for dental care at all and strongly suggest getting a 2nd opinion before moving forward with any of their dental care plans.

Went for hygiene check upWell done at the Deland office. The check in with temperature & isolated number of patients was well arranged.
At first I was not sure how this appointment would go, my apt was for 10:30 and I was not called back until after 11:30. The lady was so nice in listening to why I was there . My tooth hurt and my reg dentist was out of town! She took an x-ray and showed me the issue . The doctor gave me a prescription to keep any infection away until I could get it take care of! I will definitely be back I was very impressed with the way I was treated. I also liked how helpful the man in the office was helping me find my insurance since I forgot my card !
I would have given more stars as the people were just great, but I didnt care for the open type setting where treatment was performed.The doctors were awesome.My greatest concern was the cleanliness of the office/treatment rooms.They need a thorough cleaning.With that said, the equipment was clean, instruments covered in plastic and everyone wore gloves.
