Terrible towing agency. I highly recommend avoiding them at all costs.My vehicle was towed after an accident 2 years ago. Even though we signed a release giving ownership to the insurance company Daytona Wrecker did not reach out and placed a lien on my new vehicle registration 2 years later.When trying to work this out Daytona Wrecker was extremely unhelpful and the woman answering the phone was extremely rude when we did get through. Daytona Wrecker never reached out to me or insurance company. After the insurance WAS NOTIFIED BY ME it was handled. Daytona Wrecker cost me a couple hundred additonal dollars in state fees and missed work.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY WILLINGLY.

While vacationing in Daytona, our car was hit by a driver running a stop sign. Our car was totaled. My wife and I were transported to the hospital by ambulance leaving our car and belongings behind. We were fearful our belongings would be gone. I was greeted at the gate by MELVIN. when seeing my arm in a sling from an injury sustained in the accident, Melvin insisted that he got my belongings out of the car. After bagging my belongings, he refused to take a tip for his efforts. Job well done Daytona Wrecker, but a great job done by MELVIN. Thank you Melvin!!

I have recently gotten into car accident, the following day the lady at the front desk was very polite and caring. She assisted me in the process of getting to my car. Once I arrived I was greeted my Melvin he helped me remove my license plate and gave me some suggestions. He was professional, caring, kind and knows a lot about the business. I put in a service request and waited for 3 hours before being told they cancelled the order. 30 mins prior i spoke with the dispatcher lady who told me the driver was 15 minutes out from my location. Horrible, they refused to let my father grab his meds, he needs his meds for his heart, he cant get his cloths nor his oxygen that he needs to breath, I will make sure thier refusel will be in the law suit!!!

I had no real dealings with this organization. I placed a phone call after hours which is 5pm. They do not allow pick up of your vehicle, between the hours of 5pm to 9am. They open up at 9am and then you are able to getting your vehicle.

What an amazing company!! I would suggest everyone using them exclusively for their towing services. ☺

My Jeep broke down today. We are new in town and my husband was out of state working. My insurance lady said to call Daytona Towing. The nicest lady answered& helped me. She let me know it would be a while until they could tow me, so she gave me another tow place to call. I was upset, and she was so, kind to me. She knew I was nervous and scared not knowing anyone. I have forgotten her name because I was so flustered, but I wanted to give her a big shout out! She’s good people!

Our vehicle had to be towed with a lot of valuable items in it, the vehicle was safeguarded by Daytona Wrecker services. Everything was intact when we picked it up, unlike past experiences with other companies who did not save guard the vehicle. Extremely professional staff. Extremely secure facility. Just picked up a car that was towed there. Good service. They were helpful. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because they had me and my 2 year old daughter stand in the rain for a couple minutes after speaking with them before buzzing us thru gate. But other than that. Good place. Tow truck driver even helped me load car!

Tow truck showed up quick and dricer was very kind to my son who locked his keys in his car.

My wife wrecked her car it cost me $600 to get it. They charge for fuel their time the tow and charged for tarping it which it did not even have a tarp over it. She had wrecked only two blocks from their impound yard. They closed early and are closed for weekends so they make more money from you and its harder to pick up your car

They were very helpful and caring. Larry and Donna kept checking on me because I was an emotional and mental mess and helped me with the process of retrieving all my things. I just didnt like all that sand in the backyard, lol! Its good to know theres good folks that sympathize with your situation.

Melvin was amazing and so extremely helpful the front office ladies on the other hand are beyond rude!!! Wouldnt even let my son come in with me. Were talking trash to my boyfriend who was standing outside with my son. I have never dealt with such horrible customer service in my life! And I work customer service. Wouldnt even let us see my brother bike and proceeded to have an attitude. My brother cant go get his bike he gonna be in the hospital for the next year cause he broke both his legs in an accident . Dont place your car or bike or other vehicles here because they suck and have no sympathy for hurting families!

The drivers will go out of their way to help out stranded motorists, but remember it is a business. That being said, their customer service is far better than the competition and their prices are generally speaking lower as well.

Closed on weekends closes early you have difficult getting there to get things out and they charge you per day. Got towed in Daytona beach and reasearched towing laws for the city. First off they are not open on weekends and will not meet you to retrieve your car but they are towing 24/7 on weekends. Which Florida towing laws state that if yiur open for towing that if a person requests to retrieve their car that said towing company must meet them within one hour of said request.When I made such a request from Daytona wrecker and mentioned this law to them they hung up in me and when I looked online thermoelectric hours of operations changed to closed. WTH!!!Charge you ridiculaius weird fees like cash fee admin fee etc.

They let somebody else go in my car without my permission.and then tried to deny me access to my own vehicle with my name on the registration.

Harrable company to tow your vehicle unless your there to make sure they dont wreck your property worse. They picked my car up from the Daytona Police department stop sticking my car from being stolen, & once delivered to Jon Hall Chevrolet dealer, this wrecker company did more damage to my underneath suspension than was NECESSARY. So Please dont call that company. Also read all forms carefully before signing, they have certain blocks checked when you sign it. BE CAREFUL!!!!

Would give NEGATIVE stars if I could. They are plain and simple THIEVES. They will STEAL your car and hold it hostage. They will charge you money to retrieve stuff out of the car. They will charge you money to half ass cover it with a tarp. They would not let me accompany my kid in the office. They took advantage of a college kid and THREATENED him and would not let him have help. Thieves and thugs. NOT a reputable business at all.

RIPPING OFF VICTIMS OF CRIME! My car was stolen from Seminole County and ended up in Daytona Beach. The police department immediately called this company to the scene to tow my vehicle. Did I mention they hadnt even finished chasing the suspects or processing the vehicle? I was charged $100 an hour for a tow truck driver to sit there before the car was ready to be towed. It was $100 to tow it 3.8 miles to their lot. I wasnt even notified until 5 days later that my car had been recovered. Grand total $480 to get my car out of impound when I couldve been there in 45 minutes with key in hand to drive away had someone CALLED ME to let me know they found my car. Theres obviously some back scratching going on between the DBPD or city council and this company. Tow it quick and let it sit.

The guys on the yard were awesome, but the front off staff is extremely rude....hope I never have to deal with this place again.....the city should really check into who they choose to be apart of their payroll....just saying

Im going 3 stars only by the grace of the 2ND driver who delivered my brothers bike back home after a bad wreck. He took the time to get the bike rolling and keep it upright on his flat bed. The jackass that took it from the accident scene just slung a winch on it and dragged it off the street. The company charged $300 to get it out less than 12hrs later. Wanted another $100 to drag it outside their gates for AAA to pick up OR $75 for them to tow it. So whoever that 2ND driver was - HE EARNED YOUR 3 STARS (and is himself worth 5) otherwise Id of given ya 1 star.

They listen to the police scanner and take advantage of people during a time of crisis. Show up at a crash then hold your car hostage until you pay them a crazy sum of money. My sons truck broke down shortly after midnight, around 12:15 a.m. and I picked him up. We made arrangements to have it towed by a neighbor friend, who came to tow the vehicle at approximately 3-3:15 a.m. his trucks lift got jammed and wouldnt work. We were waiting for another person who does this for a living with a different REPUTABLE company, by the time he got to the location at around 4:30 a.m. my sons truck was gone. We had gone out of town assuming that the truck had been picked up by our friend. We stopped by the area where the truck had been, saw it was gone, and again assumed he had picked it up, bear in mind, the first attempt to get it was at 3-3:15, and was gone by the second attempt at 4:30. We came back into town at around 9, called our friend to thank him for retrieving the vehicle. He informed us that by the time he got there, the truck was gone. I called DBPD and asked if they had the vehicle towed, the young lady said she had NO report, but if it had been picked up, it would be Daytona Wrecker. The police officer searched to see if it had been picked up as an abandoned vehicle. She said she found the report, and it had in fact been towed by Daytona Wrecker at 4a.m. this morning. There is no one in the office to give explanation about the towing. The emergency dispatcher said they only go if they were called to do so and I told her there was no call The police Officer transferred us to this towing service. SOMEBODYS LYING!!!! Now we have to wait until Monday morning after 8 to get information about having it released, literally, it was on the side of the road for one hour!!!! I CANT WAIT TO SEE HOW MUCH THIS WILL COST ME TO GET IT OUT OF VEHICLE JAIL!! UNBELIEVABLE!!

If I could rate them negative stars I would. My brother was told by the front desk to pick a time on Saturday to come get my sons car seat out of the car or if I wanted it towed it would only be an extra fee. When on arrive I called and a very rude women told me no one would set up an appointment on Saturday because the office is locked and all the keys are in there. And after I advised her that I have both my keys to my vehicle and that I would pay what ever fee to get it towed to my house. I was rudely hung up on!

They will illegally tow your vehicle, then make you pay the 150 $ to get it back,they illegally towed my work van twice from the same complex,so they actually stole my van on 2nd tow,I should have filed charges and put someone in jail,I would highly not recommend this company, try Luckys towing instead.

This was the biggest racket ever. I pay AAA for the Plus towing package for up to a 100 miles for all my cars but the Daytona Police would not allow me to tow to my own business to get fixed. I was on the phone immediately with WREAKER. I tried to get the car immediately but they said I was an hour late(ad says open 24 hrs). By the next morning, my bill was up to $412 for 2 days storage,their labor costs(oil dry,etc?) and they only take cash(??) so off to the bank to wire my son cash.I was calling them all day but they needed to get out to me a certified letter that added another !$90. The police must think we deserve this because we needed a tow-which we did not need!

If you get in an accident in Daytona Beach and dont call your own tow truck, the police will call Daytona Wrecker Services. Theyre the official tow company of the police department and the arrangement is an embarrassment to the city. When they tow you from an accident scene, theyll charge you ridiculous prices. My sister was charged $425 for a 3-mile tow and 2 days of storage. Any reputable towing company would charge no more than $65 for the tow, plus $20/day for storage. The most absurd part of all this is that its completely legal. The way they extort money from victims of car accidents is abhorrent and should be criminal, but they have the support of the police department and the city.

Absolutely the biggest scam in the towing industry. I have been an auto dealership owner for a long time and never saw such a scam as they run. Our dealership had a customers car impounded in which we financed so they sent us a letter that the vehicle has been impounded with the following charges $100 initial hook-up, $50 labor @ scene, $25 fuel, $25 admin, $100 transfer, $65 certified letter fee, and $175 storage and we contacted them the day the letter was sent. How this company is legal under business standards today baffles me. If our dealership would charge ludicrous fees like this the state would shut us down immediately, obviously we would not. The funny part is they are the official police towing company for a certain area of Daytona. I cannot put in writing my displeasure with this company and please avoid them at all cost!

Absolute worst towing company. First of all they ILLEGALLY towed my vehicle & then charged me $125 to get it out. I had no choice but to pay it because it was a rental and I had to return it the next day. Secondly, after I recieved my vehicle I noticed that they took a big chunk out of the spoiler from towing it. Third of all, the dispatcher and the employees of this company are the most disrespectful people I have come in contact with. It also looks VERY BAD that this company represents the Daytona Beach Police Department in certain areas. SCAM SCAM SCAM thats what this company is.

Place is a complete rip off they are affiliated with Daytona Beach police and they tell you is $100 but I ended up getting charged $277 $100 for intial tow $50 for putting the car on the bed?!?! Charge you $21 for a fuel charge because aparently thats not inculded with the tow, $25 to run your id to prove its yours? $20 per 15 minutes youre in theor yard to see the vehicle place is garbage and should be shut down completely rip off!
