Just left Lollipop salon off Sheridan and I am incredibly pleased with how it turned out. At other salons my son used to require me to lay across his lap while he screamed and kicked during the haircut. It is apparent that this salon has taken tremendous effort to educate themselves on ways to make haircuts easier for kids with special needs. Not only was my son cooperative, I actually think he enjoyed it! Highly recommend. And ask for Rocio.

We had a great experience with Carla:) Hairdressers either got it or don’t when it comes to children and she’s got it. We scheduled our appointment for 6:30 pm and only had to wait 5 minutes which was perfect for us since it gave my 2 year old time to look around and relax. His haircut came out perfect and everything was quick and smooth. We will be back !

Im totally disappointed with the service they offer.I went today for my sons first hair cut.Poor customer service. They charged me 29$ as a package but its not at all worth.First of all lady who is doing haircut never asked us what is the purpose of the visit. They are in rush of doing hair cut.Lady who is doing haircut to my son she really dont have patience.My son crying all the time because she is in a rush. she is holding and pushing my son head very hard during haircut.After returning home my son suffered almost 2 hours with the pain.Very disappointed 🙁

Very cute salon for kids. Manager was very helpful. Our stylist Rosa was very patient with my wiggle worm of a 4 year old. Simple trim with braids my daughter chose and more than a bit of glitter. They do not accept tips via credit/debit so bring cash. Will be bringing her back for a princess package for her birthday.

This place is awesome! Ileana was our hair stylist and she was great with my 2 little girls. She was patient and sweet. Their hair came out perfect! At the end they give each kid a cute hair style with glitter! :) Next my two little girls had a manicure and then a quick photo shoot in the back of the shop. Last, they even gave ME a quick trim haircut. Paola the manager was attentive to us and made us feel like a valued customer. This will to be my go-to place from now on!

Long post. Too much control, not welcoming at all.Where to start.... When I called to schedule the appointment, the lady was fast to let me know that last time we went (only time we have been there) we paid our tip with cash and thats not an option. Why did they take it back then? She was then very straightforward to tell me that I need to bring cash. As though if the tip is mandatory.... Anyhow I passed that and headed there.They keep their doors locked, you cant enter even if you are in the front door just until they decide to let you in. I came 5 min early, my daughter wanted to buy some chips they had close to the window, waiting area which is destined to seat more than 4 people was empty. I knocked, they ignored me. I called, the same lady not even apologized for ignoring me and just said that when the hairstylist would be available she would let me in. Then after a good 20 min wait she finally comes with her keys to open the door, turns her back to me and starts talking to somebody inside while a little one is crying and screaming as loud as he can, 5 min of nonstop crying and screaming, the lady ignored the whole situation. Would you like to be treated like that? Probably not. But thats not the main issue. Would you like your kids to go through that situation? While I was waiting for the rude lady to at least look at me to bring able order the chips for my daughter, my little one was already terrified by the crying and screaming. Poor little guy nobody seemed to care. I felt bad for him and our course my little one that came all excited out of the car early because she wanted her haircut and braids now was asking me to please go away of that place and our course we did.Of course since they lock you down ( dont know how legal is that with the excuse if Covid) I had to ask the guy in the front desk to open the door for me because of course the lady kept disregarding our presence. I told him we cant stand the crying and screaming. My daughter is terrified.Then 5 min later the lady sends a text out and call asking where are you?Total lack of respect, and poor kids.

This place is very unreliable...we went there three times the first time wasawesome and Carla did a great job on my two year old the second time not so great the third time horrible his haircut was all lopsided. In addition no matter how uoumake an appointment with them by phone or online they always call up to cancel that appointment and want to make one that is not convenient for the customer but for them...I will never ever go there again and am encouraging anyone to go somewhere else

My son is on the spectrum for Autism so naturally, haircuts used to be impossible. We found out about this place and decided to give it a try. Parents, if your child has a special need or requires extra care, let the business know as they have the experience. They are so gentle with my son and take their time to make sure he is comfortable with his experience. Carla is a blessing and is so good with him, she has now gotten my son to keep completely still. Family owned and customer service is always great! We have tried other kid salons in the area but the experience has always been a nightmare. This is our go-to for the kids, especially how they treat my son.

What a disappointing experience we had :(Long post.I did my research on this place prior to booking & it truly is a magical place from the moment you walk in, you feel like they know what they’re doing. The actual work by the hair stylist was excellent. NoComplaint on the haircut at all. The braid was beautiful!However, the customer service is horrendous. First the day before the appt. they called & text me numerous times to confirm the appt & they emphasized we couldn’t be late. I arrived about 12 min prior to appt as I was paranoid they would cancel if I got there late. Upon arrival, I proceed to the front door & it was locked! I called & they told me I couldn’t come in & to “go back to car” Bc they’re not ready. (Covid restrictions taken more serious than than their clients) I’m finally told to come in & I instantly sensed an extremely unwelcoming & weird environment.They let us in & the entire time I felt like they didn’t want me or my daughter there. No one talked. I was trying to give my daughter the best experience. So I kept talking to her & making conversation but the stylist, the receptionist & the owner all ignored us. The stylist got the job done but never interacted w my daughter or me. They literally acted like we were not present. We felt extremely unwelcome.I guarantee you will not feel wanted there. It’s a shame Bc the place has soooo much potential. The stylist did a great job but has no social skills whatsoever.Very disappointing! The long post prior to this one sounds very similar to my experience. Also, they promised a picture of my daughter for her first haircut & they didn’t deliver. I just wanted to get out of there so I didn’t even ask for it. :(

I love this place very much! Rosa cuts my sons’ hair since their first cut (6years ago). She’s really nice and makes a great job. We always book with Rosa. The place is busy in the afternoons and weekends so it is important to be in time. They always call me to confirm my appointments. We have no problem waiting a few minutes if we arrive late. Rosa is really fast so we never have to wait so much. I drive around 20 minutes to get here and it’s worthy. The new administration (a little over a year) is fantastic.

I recently visited this place and I loved it! They did a great job!! Loved the haircut done to my boys. I also got my haircut there and it was very good. It was clean, friendly staff and ready at my appointment time. All wearing masks! Totally recomendable. We will be there soon!!

Lollipop is a fantastic experience for the kids. Their great service and fun atmosphere turned my stylist-scared toddler into a regular haircut fan. And their cutesy details are really fun for my daughter, who really felt like she was in a grown-up salon. Between the balloons, cartoons, sweets, and play area, Lollipop has done a great job making themselves a fun place for the kids to get a haircut. And an otherwise stressful experience is instead a fun destination for the kids. Mine look forward to every trek out to Weston, and it’s worth the drive, even from Hollywood. We have lunch while we’re out there and make a day of it, and the kids are always excited to go. It’s clear everyone at Lollipop cares about kids!

It used to be my favorite place for many years, then After this issue with the Corona Virus when they gave me all the procedures definitely will not go back there. I finally found a nicer place Sharkey’s Cut for Kids in Coral Springs. More friendly environment

Carla C. has cut my son’s hair since the very first time. She’s so amazing with little kids in reading their reactions & allowing them to feel comfortable. She takes her time & does an amazing job!

The owner was very rude. It would have been our first time there but at the last minute Due to circumstantial reasons we couldnt make it and tried to change my appointment to another time, but she was not willing to work with me and just said there were no more appointments until the following week. When I agreed to make an appt for the following week she indicated that I would have to give a deposit for this appt since I missed my first appt in a very demeaning way. Im sorry but if youre running a childrens business you have to be willing to be flexible and understand that anything can happen at the last minute with your child making it impossible to go to an appt. Its her loss, we just booked an appt with one of her competitors.

From the first day that I went with my son to this room I felt the bad vibes, the owner of the business, Paola, a negligible, spiteful, liar and, far from complying with the standards of what it is to run a good business, I had the need to cancel an appointment the day before because my son had a cold and i am worried about covid 19, 24 hours before what was established on his website, which angered her, I asked her if she could reschedule it and she told me they would not open Tuesday I said no problem then for Wednesday and she told me that the internet had dropped, that she was calling me back (she never called, )I open her website and d scheduled my appointment online and to my surprise they opened on Tuesday they were not closed, i scheduled it online again and the next day She canceled my appointment I tried to call her and she did not answer the phone, without words, how is it possible ? a people being to do these things in his own business? The only logical answer for me is that he has mental problems, believe me, someone like this is a danger to be close to children, we are in the United States and there are many other places that cut hair I am going to leave my 20 dollars more tip than I spend monthly to another business and as long as I live I will tell my experience to all my friends and how much review website exists very rude and unprofessional, I wish you luck you will need it ......my recomendation keep away of this place a crazy woman run this business.

I found this salon after my son had a traumatic experience at cartoon cuts. The hair dresser cut him accidentally, and after that he hated haircuts. I’m so grateful for finding Karla at lollipop. Not only is she quick, but very patient, loving, and of course my sons haircuts always turn out perfect. If you are in West Broward, Karla at Lollipop is the only person/place I recommend; especially if your little one hates haircuts as much as mine!

I’ve been to the saloon probably about 5-6 times and have been pretty happy, but today they went above what was expected! I had not made an appointment for my two girls and had to wait a little bit. Very understandable. BUT I had not prepared enough for this outing and, my little girl who is in the middle of potty training, decided to have a few small accidents. The staff couldn’t have been kinder and lent me some diapers. Thank you for nice haircuts but also helping out a momma who didn’t bring enough extra clothes🤷‍♀️

DANGEROUS place. If you want your child get hurt - bring them here! I brought my kids for a spa day - worst salon I have ever visit. They use ice-cold water for my daughter pedi(following hours she hit 104F), and cut my sons neck - it was bleeding - they didnt tell me he got hurt, didnt wash/sanitize the wound. When i came to the manager with friendly comments, she was incredibly rude, rolling her eyes on me. Her luck of professionalism is beyond my understanding. Not to mention cleanliness of the tools.

My son has Down Syndrome and sensory issues, therefore getting his hair cut is usually a struggle. I have been taking him to Lollipop for years to see Rosa and she does wonders!!! He still cries and screams and moves around A LOT but Rosa is always very patient and super fast so the whole process goes quick! And the results are amazing!!! Totally recommend this place and Rosa’s ability!!!

They are very pushy with the tip and required to be in cash. The tip is optiona. Is ok to inform the way of payment but not to request it many times when you are paying the haircut. Very disappointed. The only good thing is the stilyst, Karla.

I wanted a bit of information for my daughters birthday and they sent me the information quickly, she took the time to explain to me all their options. The hair stylist, Carla, engaged my daughter and kept her happy, treated her like a princess. She took the time to engage me in conversation as well. This is the most pleasant experience I have had at a salon aside from my grandparents barber shop and beauty salon. When my daughter and I left she said “I like this place, we should come here from now on.” This speaks volumes about the service we received.

Our favorite kids salon! We’ve been going here for about three years now, and Carla has been cutting my sons hair ever since. She makes us feel like family every time and cuts my sons hair perfectly (even as a small toddler). The prices are reasonable and we love the snack options available for purchase. Their online appointment system is also the best!

Great place and people. That staff is very accommodating and polite. Try and make an appointment when possible. Or if you need to do a walk-in, call ahead and get an idea on how crowded it is. They do photography as well never used them so I cannot speak to that.

Carla is the absolute best!! Great service, cute hair cuts! My kids love their play area too!
