Was wanting a tax professional to help me prepare my taxes this year. Called the number listed and in her voicemail she said if youd like me to prepare your taxes, drop off your paperwork or email me at... well I emailed all of my documents and asked if shed be able to take me on as a client this year. I literally never heard back. Double checked the email address and everything. Interesting way to do business.

Ive known Laurie for a long time, but I chose to do my taxes myself until I went into a more complicated business. Laurie was willing to help and made things seem so easy even though it probably isnt. She makes herself available if you ever need assistance. You really get personalized service.

Worked us in as promised, and took the time to respond even in the middle of busy tax season. She found much more than I did: I thought I could do my own taxes... but evidently not!Significantly better experience than HR Block: no bait-and-switch price raises here.Maybe we’ll get a simpler tax code some day, but in the meantime I’ve been converted. It is better to have someone on my side who knows what theyre doing, than to spend multiple stressful evenings trying to figure it out myself.
