The end result will be a nice home, but it would be that way with any contractor...its a new home and you pick out most of the finishings. The process to get there is frustrating and almost feels like a joke. Poor communication, terrible organizational skills (or complete lack thereof) -- they still owe us money for an overcharge a year after closing and refuse to address it!! -- inability or lack of desire to respond to emails, and it took 10 months after close to finish a punch list item. Many people I speak with who also built with Applestone think poorly of how the company is ran and it would seem they continue to get business based solely on their finished pictures and the owners last name. Do yourself a favor and find another contractor!

Applestone Homes built our home seven years ago. The house has a lot of nice extra touches. This is our third house we have had built so we have some experience with the process. JJ and Adam were easy to work with and did a great job on the house. Weve received many compliments on our home and have enjoyed living here.

Applestone Homes did a full main floor remodel for us and it’s the best decision we’ve ever made. They were professional and timely, but most importantly listened to our preferences and designed a floor plan better than we ever could have imagined. We are forever grateful for Applestone Homes making our home into the beautiful, functional, and loved space it now is.

Ive been a fan of Applestone for years. I look forward to touring their model homes every year. If youve never been to a tour or even if you just enjoy watching HGTV then I would highly recommend it. The attention to detail is insane. I know when my wife and I are ready to build Ill work with Applestone.

Bought a home built by Applestone Home from someone who had it custom built. house was completed in 2013. I have had made over $10,000 in repairs from shoddy workmanship and overall poor construction quality. 2 main exterior doors replaced and numerous others. there are better builders out there Im sure. Additionally, Applestone was unwilling to provide blueprints because I was not the original owner.

I built with Applestone Homes and the experience was great! Very professional, creative, and high quality builders...and fun to work with. Highly recommend!

Typical low rent quad cities builder. The home may look aesthetically pleasing and trendy, but it ends there.
