Amazing job, one girl was really fast the other gave my friend PERFECT nail shape. Both provided awesome nails.**UPDATE **After only 3 days most of the jewels are falling off and I’ve already lost a Nail. Great job getting what I wanted but I haven’t done any lifting or anything at all with my nails in 3 days so they must use glue that’s not very good. The worst part is I work retail so I won’t be able to get it fixed

I went in yesterday for a hot stone pedicure and a full set. The staff was amazing. Mary did my pedicure and took the time to understand my medical problems and having sever nerve damage in my left foot. She made sure to make sure I was comfortable at all times and not in pain. Thao did my nails and they turned out exactly how I wanted them. First time going here and she really went out of her way to make sure everything was how I wanted. She even stayed later than the business was open but didn’t rush me out the door like most places would have. After talking to her for a while I really love the fact that she supports her local business and really try’s to support her customers. Great nail salon everyone is professional and it’s very clean. I will return every time!

Wonderful experience! They were very busy so we had a bit of a wait but they made sure we had colors to pick from and a menu of services so we werent just sitting there doing nothing. Mary was my nail tech and she was very attentive to my needs and my concerns(I have very ticklish feet). Even with the wait it was an excellent experience and I would go there again in a heartbeat!

Ive always had a good experience at Novel Nails. I get the Heaven on Earth pedicure usually because they do such a good job. Ive only ever had one bad experience and that was only because I came in last minute and the only lady that was available was just a bit slower and did not as well as the others. But the owner took care of me and understood my frustration and I only payed for a basic pedicure instead of the normal price for Heaven on Earth. So it shows they really do care about their clients experience and are the best Nail salon in my opinion. 🙏

I called them today at 6:15pm to to see if I could get in and they told me as long as I was there Before 7 PM that they could get me in. I arrive around 6pm with a bag that has my dinner in it… I plan to eat it once my nails were finished so I had went to set it on the ground but wait with no hesitation the owner told me to eat my dinner in her lobby. She started my nails at 7:15 knowing they close at 7:30.. she was more than happy to stay late to accommodate me. And I would highly recommend to all my family and friends! My nails have never looked better!! Thank you again for the great service you provided me!

Just moved from California so I was looking for a good nail place. The studio itself is nice, clean and with a quiet atmosphere. Ladies are very nice as well. I got an express pedicure and gel manicure. Pedicure chipped a few days later but it was just a regular polish so I could understand that, however when I get a gel manicure it usually lasts 3 weeks or so until falling apart, but this is what my gel manicure looks like 1 week after my appointment. Gel polish is uneven and you can feel the ridges, it started coming up after 3 days. Really disappointed.

My 6 yr old daughter & I received wonderful pedicures today! This salon took very good care of us & they were also very patient with my very talkative/ energetic daughter.

The service was amazing but they are pretty pricey. For a gel toe, removal of acrylic and dipping of natural nail I payed $100. Again, the service was great so I did pay it plus tip because Mary was phenomenal and payed great attention to detail.

This is the only place I go now for pedicures, price is fair for such a good one. Relaxing atmosphere and the ladies are so kind and professional. Only complaint was getting a manicure once and the polish chipping in a few days 🥺 other than that, my absolute FAVORITE place and I recommend to anyone! 💕💕💕

I lived in the quad cities for 13 years and been to a lot of nail salons. Novel is the “Absolute Best” nail salon around town. People go to salons to feel better and I felt so relax and welcomed . They go above and beyond to make sure you are taking care of. The nail tech Cindy was absolutely WONDERFUL 😊 not sure if other people felt the pain of having there nails filed down to there was barely any nail left here you will not go through the pain.Cindy constantly asked me if, I was ok and wanted anything to drink. Me and my daughter are very satisfied and look forward to going back.

I went to Novel Nails for the first time last night after going to another local salon for the last 5 years. Your nail person is like your hair person... so when I went in I was a little nervous but Stephanie did an phenomenal job! 🤩 Stephanie and Thao, the owner were so so sweet! Everyone there is so kind and accommodating and I was even asked if I was pleased with my nails! Like what?! I have grown my nails out quit long with just using gel/shellac so that’s what I did here as well! The amount of color options they have is wild! I’ll definitely be going here from now on!

Booked way in advance and they were completely overbooked. They did not even check their sheet to see which reservation came first. When I book something, I expect to get in on that time, not wait 30 minutes to an hour or more. First time attempting to go there, will not be going back.

Today was my second visit to Novel Nail Studio to see Stephanie and everyone has been so friendly and helpful these past couple visits. Stephanie does incredible work and has amazing attention to detail. I highly recommend Novel Nail Studio and Stephanie!

Booked my appointment for acrylics and a toe polish expect to pay at most $65 but they put gel polish and charged me $100. Very disappointed they charged me for whatever they felt like. Will never go back. I enjoyed the service but the end result just had me very angry. I wasnt expexting to pay an arm and a leg. Also only expext to be there for maybe an hour and half was there for like two hours and half.

Awful, broke a nail by second day. I asked for pink and white...they gave me their own version of nail dip. I did get compliments but the people were being nice...trust me. They were Asian and Im not sure they understood everything I was saying. Although, of course they crowded around and talked about me in their own language. VERY RUDE. I have never not left any tip before but when I was charged nearly 70.00 (oh and yes after the price they quote you they charge tax also) Im embarrassed to admit I left no tip therefore could not show up next day with broken nail.My advice...anywhere else is better....

I had my nails done for the 1st time at Novel and I couldnt be happier! After years of not so friendly service at my old nail salon, Novel was so refreshing! Everyone was so nice. I could tell the regulars were very happy, too. I had my toes painted and my nails filled and painted... beautiful, beautiful job. Novel is my new nail salon and I am so happy that I found them!

Second time here and it was horrible. Worst experience ever. Went in with my sister and the ladies were rushing on our nails. My sister wanted a French nail but she did an ombre on her even though she told her no ombre. One of her nails is isnt even glue down all the way.Mine look look absolutely horrible. Theyre lumpy, thick and look bent. I let her know that my nails were bent looking and she only fixed one and seemed annoyed that I asked her and just kept rushing to get it over with.Spent $123 for a sloppy job. I didnt bother expressing how upset I was because I didnt wanna make a scene and I was too upset to say anything. I doubt theyd make me pay less for what we got done anyways.The language barrier is already bad enough because they barely understand what youre asking for and they constantly speak in their language in front of you. I think its very rude. Never coming back. Do NOT go here.

I absolutely and HIGHLY recommend Novel Nail Studio. In all the years Ive been getting my nails done Ive yet to encounter a nail salon that is this professional, clean and reliable. They truly care about their clientele and are so catering and patient. Theres no rushing and salon gossip (love that). FIVE stars over and over.

I only get 2 or 3 pedicures a year, these ladies never short time me on my foot massage and that sells me right there. Prices are comparable to other salons in the area but the service and cleanliness are 100% and cant be topped.

Don’t bother trying to schedule an appointment online. It confirms the appointment, then when you show up they say they text you and canceled because they are busy. Not sure why they have a website to “schedule” an appointment only to end up not having an appointment when you show up.They are rude and unprofessional. Go to T Nails or DQ Nails.

Great experience again. They always make sure we are on the same page with my desired results. Mydip looks good, but is a little too thick. I was in a hurry so I know that was the reason for that.

Thao is the owner and she is amazing! She does my acrylics better than anyone else I’ve gone to in Davenport. The entire staff is extremely friendly. I recommend this place to everyone and I’m always getting compliments on my nails.

I arrived at my appointment time with my 4 girls (8, 6, 4, & 2). They greeted us and were very nice even though they were still busy. The whole process took about 2 hours. We didnt mind since we had nothing else to do. The girls got kids mani/pedis. I got the heaven on earth pedicure with gel nail polish. It was phenomenal! Very clean establishment and they take pride in sanitation. The girls also got nail art which was so cute. The massage chairs were amazing as well (definitely needed)! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Quad cities and will definitely go back!

We had a great experience and much needed night out. We don’t typically get our nails done. We had a group of 5. My Mother, my daughters (12 and 9) my niece and I. Everyone was so helpful helping us decide on what was best for us even though it was cheaper than we originally wanted. They made us feel right at home and we were so comfortable and truly enjoyed it for hours. My Mother and I got the heaven on earth pedicure and it really was heaven!

Love my experience. Dip a little higher than I can afford, but will definitely return. I will have to go back to acrylic. Forever customer.

I don’t generally do reviews, but I loved the experience here so much, I thought I should rave about it! The studio is very nice inside; modern and spacious. Everything looks and smells clean. The pedicure chairs are new and very luxurious. The gal who did my pedicure was SO thorough. She really cleaned up my cuticles and rough calluses just like I asked. It never hurt or tickled, which was a nice surprise. I thought that was just par for the course with a pedicure, but now I know that it can be done without pain or tickling (and my feet are VERY ticklish!). They gave you a menu to choose from right at the beginning and the prices were perfectly fair for the work offered. Not too high, not too low. They also didn’t pressure me to upgrade anything, which was nice. They definitely wanted to be sure I was happy with the work, and I most certainly am. Pretty much anyone can paint toenails, but it takes talent to make rough icky feet smooth and beautiful, which they definitely did for me. 10/10 would go back again!

Based on the good reviews I visited this morning to have my acrylics taken off and then have a gel manicure. A worker (should have gotten her name) began removing my acrylics. She soaked them in polish remover and then used the electric nail file. On one nail, she held the file too long so it heated up and burned me! It hurt so bad I yanked my hand from hers! She apologized and kept asking if I was okay. The burning stopped but I was pretty nervous to continue. She then burned me AGAIN on my other hand! She gave me a break to soak more of the acrylics off and I was just about to leave when Mary took over. Mary was gentle and did a great job on my gel manicure. But my experience was already ruined and I still feel a little pain where I was burned.

When i got my nails done here, they were so nice! The lady also was constantly checking to make sure my nails being the same size. They offer you a drink every time, ask if the shape is okay, and definitely worth $45!! I went to a different nail salon yesterday and it was not worth it. definitely going back to Novel.

I have been searching for a new nail salon for almost a year. I have been to a lot of different places in Iowa and Illinois during that time. This is one of the best nail places Ive been too. They are super friendly, they understand things when you explain and they are pretty wonderful at their job. I got a pedicure from a different place 2 months before finding this place and they messed up my nails and caused it to become infected and ingrown. The woman here, fixed it and did a wonderful job! I havent had any problems at all since then. Im thankful for them. They have brochures that have all the info in them and the prices, which was super helpful.

I went for nails before my wedding.. I wanted Gel with tips, that cldnt be done that day, they said they cld dip. I’ve never had dip nails, was concerned about thickness. Told to pick a color, I said I want an American manicure, not too pink/white. Was explained thicker than gel but thinner than acrylic. I have had acrylic, these dipped nails are thicker and faker looking than any acrylic I have ever had. ( And I use to let my daughter practice acrylics on me). Friendly staff, redid them when the pink glitter I picked looked white and nothing like what I chose. Stayed late to finish... But I am completely dissatisfied that I paid $60 to look SO horribly fake the week of my wedding. Searching for fast, way to get it off before my wedding!!!! 😢——— They are removing them and fixing them tomorrow. Their offer to do so is very good business.

These Women are amazing and sweet and fast and making such great improvements to their business! This is my new go-to! Everything is clean and shiny and it’s the epitome of one-stop, 5-Star fun! Oh and the massage chairs are legit! Their loyalty program is progressive and generous too.
